Experiencia fantástica: We have been patients of Dr. Lynda and Dr. Crystal for 10 + years. I have two children on the spectrum and both had traumatic experiences with previous Dentists. From the very first visit, the entire staff was welcoming, accommodating, understanding of my children’s disabilities. They offer a wide range of support services to make sure that my children have the regular cleanings, exams, and x-rays that are recommended. Beyond that they are the most caring human beings I could ever ask for. Both my sons have had extensive dental work, some that was required outside of their office, and they checked in with me, supported me, and recommended experts that were as equally caring of my autistic sons as they were. You cannot ask for a better staff or expertise of Dentists than this office. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I waited a long time with my first son to find a provider who would do a proper tongue tie release procedure and Im SO glad we waited until we found Dr. Lynda. She released his oral ties at 15 months old - almost unheard of in the airway dentistry world!! This speaks to her incredible talent and expertise. We travel 90 minutes one way to this office - it is well worth it. I know our children are being set up for success with their mouth development and Dr. Lynda truly treats each child like her own!

The entire team is extremely great with kids, and every one of them remembers you and your kids, remembers details about your kids, and takes great measures to make your children comfortable. Since the beginning, Dr. Lynda explained how modern medicine takes a multi-faceted look at a person's health. One problem in one part of our body could be the side effect of another problem in an apparently unrelated function. Posture, breathing, sleeping and teeth issues for example might be influenced by how much air flows through our airways at night. This holistic approach leads to strategies that address the root cause of health issues today before they become more serious later in life. Dr. Lynda and her team have guided our son through the years and explained in detail all the procedures and treatments that brought him to be the healthy boy with a great smile he is today.

My children have been in care of Ashburn Children's Dentistry for the past 18 years, and we had nothing but wonderful experience with them. When my kids were young, they were looking forward to going to the dentist (what child does that??), and would frequently ask when their next cleaning appointment was. For years Dr. Lynda suspected that my oder son had a sleep apnea even though his pediatricians insisted that he will "outgrow" whatever was going on. Sure enough, when we listened to Dr. Lynda and Dr. Krystle and went through all the tests, it turned out that he had a severe sleep apnea. Dr. Lynda and Dr. Krystle put him on a program that healed him, supported other specialists's recommendations, and after a couple of years, my son no longer has it. I can go on and on about how great they are, but simply put, Dr. Krystle are awesome with kids and know what they are doing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lynda helped me understand reasons why my daughter has had trouble sleeping throughout the night and the fact that simple fixes can help (no surgery or C-PAP machine). I felt peace of mind and confidence in their advice and competence.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lynda Dean-Duru and her staff. Everyone at Ashburn Children's Dentistry (ACD) is so genuinely kind and helpful. My baby has a very pronounced lip tie and my osteopath referred me to ACD for a consultation. Dr. Lynda recommended a series of BabyLase followed by a frenectomy. The BabyLase was surprisingly very helpful all on its own. After six sessions I could feel the difference - nursing was much more comfortable. The lip tie is also noticeably thinner. My MIL, who watches my baby several days a week, even spontaneously commented that she could tell a difference in how her lip looked. I ultimately decided not to do the release because there is absolutely no way my little one is going to allow me to do any of the after care that is necessary for the procedure to be effective. However, I have decided to continue with periodic BabyLase and osteopathic maintenance to help maintain the results as her face develops. We will revisit the release at a later date.

Experiencia fantástica: I have an extremely anxious 6 year old who has had difficult dental expereinces in the past. However, we had a dental emergency that required an extraction and a filling. We were offered a same day appointment. During the exam and procedure, Dr. Krystal took the time to comfort my daughter and explain the process. Dr. Krystal even sang a song while she preformed the entire procedure. The song relaxed my daughter and me (the anxious mother). My daughter can not stop talking about the experience and says that she only wants go to that dentist. I can not say enough about the care and attention Dr. Duru and Dr. Krystal provide their patients. It is truly remarkable.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience taking in my three yr old, who was been a huge mouth breather, sputtering when eats or drinks, and sleep problems. The staff was wonderful with her, engaging and encouraging her while they worked with me to identify the problems she may have. They listened to me, talked me thru my concerns for my daughter and helped me plan the best treatment for her. They even offered cold bottle water as I was heading out, knowing we drove an hr to make it to the appointment. All of the staff really took care of us, going above and beyond to make my lil one comfortable, and I am looking forward to working with them in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: My 6-year old daughter normally goes to another dentist in Fairfax but when her recently placed crown fell out Ashburn Children's Dentistry saw us on an emergency basis the same day. Her original dentist who did the first crown could not see us the same day even though it was their crown that fell out. From the first phone call to see if my daughter could be seen to walking out the door we had a great experience. Every single person we came in contact with - the front desk staff, Megs, Dr. Krystle, and the dental hygienist whose name I have unfortunately forgotten - were all so accommodating and very sweet. They took their time with my daughter, explaining to her what was going to happen, made her comfortable before the procedure, and of course bribed her with a balloon and some extra "prizes" when we walked out the door. She has some dental anxiety (just like her mom) but that made things much better in the end. She told me she loved this dentist and hoped we could come here again. Megs was so nice to us and really went above and beyond - offering me water, putting on a movie for my daughter, and just being all around helpful and sweet. Dr. Krystle was also very good with my daughter; she was patient and reassuring but firm and steadyhanded and got the job done very quickly. She also spent time explaining everything to me. The office itself is so welcoming. They still have solid COVID procedures. The office was very clean from top to bottom. There is a play area inside the big tree, a movie area, video games, an air hockey table, and plenty of comfortable seating for adults. Each dental chair has a TV and over-the-ear headphones with a variety of movies and TV shows. I have never seen a dental office that offers so much to distract and comfort kids. Also important to note is that they offer laser dentistry and modern x-rays and equipment. Their holistic view on dental health also sets them apart from other dental practices. I have not seen such a forward-thinking pediatric dentist. In the end, the only issue I had is that the payment did not make sense. I got three invoices with three different amounts on them. I paid $128 upfront for the appointment. An employee then explained separate charges for the crown and had me sign off before they did the procedure. They also took x-rays and pictures which I believe was a separate charge. Then in the end when I left I paid $313. All in all it was a pretty expensive trip to the dentist but I expected that it would be given the crown situation. They fitted a new crown instead of using the original, which was fine and made sense. The nitrous oxide was $100 in and of itself. Was the service, procedure, expertise, and outcome worth it? Absolutely. This was a great experience. I have no regrets about bringing my daughter here and would come again. 5 stars, no question.

Experiencia fantástica: My recent experience at Ashburn Children's Dentistry was shockingly amazing! In my years of taking my children to their doctors and dentists, I have yet to meet a medical facility where everyone was so kind, helpful, and gracious. They went above and beyond what a typical dentistry office would do for their patients and family, and I cannot sing enough praises! Dr. Krystle has a lot of experience working with young children. This is evident by the fact that she was able to communicate with and comfort a scared 3-year-old during his tooth extraction. She and her dental assistant, Megs, talked to my son throughout his procedure and used descriptive words ("ketchup" instead of blood, for example) so that my son could understand what was happening without getting worked up. I like her bedside manner. She was thorough, logical, and patient in explaining to me the reasons why an extraction is recommended versus a pulpotomy. It's fresh air when someone takes the time to explain rather than get annoyed by questions. While this was happening, office staff, Gabby and Jeanette, watched my 21-months old twins! Can you believe that? Due to childcare issues, I was "that" mom who brought the whole fam. My twins were not the easiest to handle, and I felt torn between wanting to be there for my son during his procedure and needing to care for my rambunctious twins. Thanks to the staff who stepped in to help, I could be there for my son while my twins happily enjoyed some Cocomelon. After the procedure, Megs walked me and the kids to the car and helped us get situated. Three kids under 3 isn't a walk in the park, and I appreciate Ashburn Children's Dentistry for helping a mama out during this time of high stress! That night, Dr. Krystle texted me to check in on my son and how he was feeling. Other than "above and beyond," I don't know how else to describe Ashburn Children's Dentistry. I highly recommend them to parents looking for the best dentist's office in Northern Virginia!

Experiencia negativa: One word to describe my experience with Ashburn Children’s Dentistry is upsetting. I find myself getting upset every time I even think about this place. We wasted precious time, resources and money here. The doctor there told me that my son had a severe lip and tongue tie and that he was being referred immediately for a sleep study and to a cranial osteopathy doctor. Weeks went by. No one called. I followed up with Ashburn Children’s Dentistry several times and was repeatedly told that I would be sent the information for my son’s referrals to my email. Never received anything. I called and left messages. They stopped returning my calls. So like I said before. It was a complete waste of our time, resources and money. Ashburn Children’s Dentistry took our money and did nothing for us and my son is who had to suffer from their negligence.

I was a little apprehensive considering he does not act like a typical child. My concerns quickly dissipated upon arrival. Through the entire process they were extremely understanding and accommodating based upon his needs. Megs is a wonder dental hygienist and was very patient with my son. Dr. Lynda gave some excellent advice and also displayed great patience while evaluating. Also special shout out to the front desk staff! They were great!

My baby had 5 ties/buccal (both lips, tongue, and both cheeks) and I went in very overwhelmed and honestly felt defeated. They provided me with education, compassion, and quality service from the beginning of our journey until the end. Dr. Lynda and her staff go above and beyond. She even texted at 10pm the night of my daughter's revisions to make sure all was well. They are professional, reliable, affordable, and friendly. And you can tell the staff enjoys their jobs and are respectful of each other. I can't say enough positive...wish I could give 6 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE this office. My kids have extreme anxiety and one has autism. Previously we have had dentists that were pretty good but my kids still hated going. My child with autism got to a point that she wouldn’t brush her teeth at all for multiple months. Doctor Lynda respects where she is and works with me to keep her as comfortable as possible while keeping her condition stable. After many years of my daughter refusing to go to the dentist she likes the experience again. The entire staff is amazing! This is a great office for anyone but a godsend for someone with anxiety, autism, phobias. We travel an hour to come to Ashburn Childrens Dentistry and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

They focuses in healing the route cause to better the overall health of the body and self not just provide nice and clean teeth. All my four children ages 9, 7, 2 and newborn see Dr. Lynda for Myofunctional theraphy. They are a miracle worker and thanks to them my kids will not suffer from Sleep Apnea, ADHD, and other illness due to improper breathing. They will be able to practice any sports they like and have an overall healthy active life style that is free of pharmaceutical dependency. Experiencia fantástica: We have been coming to see Dr Lynda since the kids were 2. She is amazing with all children and my youngest has autism and she works beautifully with him. My niece is extremely reluctant to go to the dentist but loves to visit Dr Lynda. They were also able to do sedation dentistry in office instead of going to the hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: Scheduling an appointment for my two boys was very easy. What I liked most was the initial appointment was done via phone. They called me to go over their history and what our concerns were. The assistant was very thorough in their process and was very clear about their insurance policy. She even went as far to verify my coverage for me and was able to tell me what I have available to me. Everyone was so nice and polite. I’d highly recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately this place is more about ways to get more money out of people for unnecessary exams than actual care and great customer service. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but after being pulled into a consult room, I knew it was about the money. They could only give me an estimate on the cost for a simple visit, but said it could be more. This doesn't work for families on a budget. My instinct screamed at me to leave. We did. If the company reviews this: Treat your prospective patients with real customer service. Be straightforward and set with exam costs and don't try to get people to pay $400 for an orthodontic 3D xray when all they came for was a cleaning, fluoride, and bite wings. Thank you.

Today's zoom conference call between Dr. Lynda Dean Duru, my son, and me focused on the recent radiologist findings from the all-encompassing x-ray performed weeks before. I was blown away by the in-depth deep-dive analysis results and the professional delivery by Dr. Lynda. Dr. Lynda stressed the importance of dental maintenance by all of her patients but pushed even further into prevention of grinding teeth, airway spatial passage in the mouth, tongue positioning, and the super critical issue of restful sleep. This Dental Doctor and her meticulous staff have gone well beyond the normal interactive relationship with parents and patients. My son has been with Dr. Lynda since he was 3 years old and will stay as long as she says so. All of you out there should feel extremely fortunate in being a part of Dr. Lynda's practice. The whole staff there is so kind and patient and do interactive things with the kids instead of just the normal cleaning. This past visit they put some coloring on their teeth to show them where they could brush better, how to brush better, and then colored a star with the amount of toothpaste they are supposed to use each time. LOVE THIS PLACE!

They are welcomed with air hockey and games and then rewarded with prizes after their check ups. Today, my girls eagerly selected the scent of their nitrous, picked a movie, and relaxed while their sealants were done. The staff is friendly and explains what will happen to the kids in a way that keeps them calm and free from anxiety. From the time me and my family walked through the door we were treated with amazing customer service. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Dr.Lynda made us feel so comfortable and at ease with the procedure we had to get done for my baby girl. I never let my baby out of my sight and I was more than comfortable letting Dr.Lynda and her staff take her back without us to perform the revision. The first night after the procedure my baby girl had troubles latching and was very fussy. Just when I was becoming overwhelmed Dr.Lynda personally text me to assure me it was normal and to “hang in there”. Her personal text made me feel at ease and helped me to calm down to get baby girl to latch. I would recommend any and everyone to seek dental care by Dr.Lynda and her staff.

Her first visit here was amazing, everyone did everything they could to make it a positive experience for both of us, and no tears the entire time. Experiencia fantástica: Both my kids (8 and 12 y/o) are patients at Ashburn Children's Dentistry. Wonderful, caring and dedicated Staff, amazing and top notch Dentists! We love Dr. Lynda Dean-Duru and Dr. Krystle. They are well worth my 30min+ drive to get my kids to their dentists! Everything is done to set the kids to ease while taking care of their teeth. The Myo Brace treatment they proposed works wonders and has improved the daily life of my kids tremendously while providing them with a prettier smile. Absolutely recommending them!

Experiencia negativa: Beware the rating for this place... Went in for a consult for my newborn's tongue tie. Should have read the bad reviews first, they all sound exactly like our experience. Not only did they want to charge an outrageous price for the service ($800 for a small incision), but our son magically developed a lip tie overnight. Two pediatricians and three lactation consultants didn't see it, but somehow this dentist and their in-house lactation consultant found it easily (another $800 fee). Not only that, but they wouldn't even schedule him until he saw a cranial sacral therapist first. If you're not sure what that is, its a quack who places their hands on you to suck the bad energy waves out of you. I'm not kidding, look it up! Of course they had a recommendation ready for us. Luckily we're only out the consultation fee before we go with the treatment and find out he magically needs more work done.

Experiencia fantástica: First dentist we’ve gone to since moving here in late January. I have two boys, five and two years old, and I couldn’t be happier! The gentleman that welcomed us was a gem and helped to settle my boys after the visit so I could finish up paying and setting follow up appointments. Every single person was so kind and patient; made it so easy for me with two wild ones to tend to! The techs and dentist were just as amazing. They were so good at calming my two year old and talking my five year old through everything they were doing and answered all of his “but why” questions with enthusiasm and a smile. I am so glad I found them!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing place for children, incredible friendly staff. The place is kid decorated and very interactive. The technology is advance and safer that all the places I have visited. My child was terrified after his visit to another pediatrician dentist but this one made it so interactive and fun that he did not want to leave, he was so happy and talking to all the staff. And the Dentist is a warm person who made my son feel open and comfortable. I looked around many other locations in the area and this place was by far the most qualified for kids who fear visits to the dentist. I can't say enough of how much you will enjoy this place as a parent and patient you have to see it on your own. Antonio will give you a very informative tour around the facility. And the kids get so many prices before and after. My son open his mouth and was ready to be exam as Soon as he sat on the chair without being asked, that is how good he felt. This is a great place to start you child to visit the dentist, son is 4 and he understood all it was said. The language they use with kids is base on how a child would understand. And they have many running trains around the ceiling for kids to see. You will not find another place like this! I. So lucky that I did all the research to find the right place. The dentist has many awards from Virginia. I found the right place! They definitely hired the right staff. Experiencia fantástica: I came to Dr Lynda Dean Duru on the recommendation of a family member as I needed a dentist for my 2 sons, as the older one had a tongue/lip tie. The environment is amazing for the kids. The decor creates a welcoming atmosphere. They literally jump on the bean bags and the toy treehouse. The front office and dental staff are very friendly and welcoming. They always make sure the kids leave with a small toy or bouncing ball. Dr Lynda is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate medical professionals I have met. My child needed a lot of work (lip/tongue frenectomies and crowns) and the staff laid out the treatment plan and Dr Lynda explained the process as many times as needed for us as parents to be comfortable. She wasn’t looking at the clock or making you feel rushed. One of the most refreshing and surprising things Dr Lynda did was personally call and follow up after the surgery inquiring about my son and offering additional advice. We had several follow up conversations afterwards and she took time out of her busy schedule to share her knowledge and past experiences. I found a great dentist and will continue to take my kids to see her as long as I’m in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: We've been seeing Dr. Lynda for a little over 2 months to fix my son's lip and tongue ties. He is 4.5 months and we've just been cleared and told everything looks great! BUT it was hard work getting to this point. We were told our son *might* have a minor tongue tie when he was born, but after following up with our pediatrician, they didn't seem concerned about it because he was gaining weight. We called Dr. Lynda's office because at 3 months it was still taking my son 45 minutes to an hour to eat for every single meal and he generally fell asleep halfway through! After meeting with Dr. Lynda she explained that his tongue tie was more severe than we were told by the LC at the hospital and that it took so long and he fell asleep every time because he was having to use more of his face and jaw to eat/transfer milk than normal thus making him extra sleepy. She also mentioned he had a lip tie making it harder for him to flange correctly when eating. Talk about a lot of information to process!!! During the initial consultation the team explained the procedure as well as the exercises that would need to follow everyday 4-6 times a day. We left nervous, but so naive thinking "how bad could it really be?" We got the procedure done, everything looked good, and we went home. To say the exercises didn't make me want to pull my hair out because of how bad he would cry would be a lie. They warned us that there'd be a day we'd look at each other and say, "why did we go through with this?" and they were so right! Many tears were shed, by us and our boy, but we pressed on knowing it was best. We had a follow up a month after the procedure and were told the lip tie was healed completely () but that scar tissue had started forming under his tongue and we'd have to continue the exercises another month. She broke the scar tissue up in the office, which essentially reopened the wound some, and the process began again, except this time we were told to press harder. More tears, more stress and anxiety, more telling ourselves that it'll be worth it in the long run. We graduated from exercises yesterday and we all earned that victory! The procedure and exercises and working on his latch (while trying to keep your sanity) have been the hardest things we've had to do so far with our son, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! He has cut his feeding time down from an hour to 20 mins (!), he is sticking his tongue out now (!), he doesn't fall asleep while eating (!), I could go on and on. If you're thinking and preparing to get this procedure done, you can't go wrong with Dr. Lynda and her team, but be prepared to put in the work! Be prepared to potentially shed a lot of tears and gain a few more gray hairs, but also know it's for the betterment of your child and you worked hard and earned the victory of knowing their mouth works correctly.

The office was so kid-friendly with extras like a movie room, tea/coffee service for parents, and an air-hockey table in the waiting room. Every thing went smooth the dental hygienists were so friendly and the place is comfortable and kids friendly we didn't have to wait. Experiencia fantástica: My daughter has been coming to Dr Lynda for years. She has seen us through preventative care through cavities--14 to be exact! After being educated on the importance of flossing, my daughter was religious about doing so! After that treatment process, we were in the very competent care of Sabrina. Her professionalism and personal attention, like Dr. Lynda's, is unparalleled! One time we spoke for almost an hour, after hours, regarding the concern for my daughter's teeth. Even after the flossing regularity, my daughter's cavities were growing. Dr Lynda and Sabrina took a personal concern and worked tirelessly to get at the root, no pun intended, of this issue. Dr Lynda suggested seeing my daughter's ENT, so we did. If it wasn't for Dr Lynda's and Sabrina's knowledge and persistence, we would not have known my daughter has "silent reflux" and is now being treated for that, too! This condition is, in part, the cause of these growing cavities. It just goes to show that our bodies are interrelated and something occurring in one area can affect another. The care we receive on a consistent basis is unheard of! I am so grateful that my daughter is in their care! Treatment goes beyond what is done on my daughter's teeth. I appreciate being educated and feel extremely comfortable asking questions. This team is unsurpassed in the quality and level of care! I just wish they saw adult patients!

Experiencia fantástica: My son has Autism and always struggled at the dentist. After searching the internet I found Ashburn Children's Dentistry, who offers sedation dentistry. We setup the appointment and the experience was wonderful. We got a tour of the facility, they informed us that they had an open concept but that they also have a quiet room for children that might be over stimulated by the noise. They had a large area for the kids to play and/or watch movies and play games. First thing my son did was belly flop on the massive pile of bean bags they had. When they brought him in they showed so much patience with him and never tried to push him to do anything which, for a kid with Autism, just made the whole experience wonderful for him. They took the time to make sure I understood anything they found and why they recommended certain procedures (i.e crowns vs. fillings). My son has never left any doctor's office smiling, in fact he would always ask if he could leave. This was the first time he was smiling and I actually had to convince him to leave. This will be our new dentistry for all my kids, because when your kids are happy and not stressing a visit it just makes a world of difference. Thank you to everyone there.

Experiencia negativa: A very nice office ,could be a great place to take your kids. Unfortunately they were dishonest and lied to me about taking my insurance...... So when we called and asked if they accept our insurance I was told that yes,they do "work" with my insurance. I now know that by "working" with my insurance means that they dont accept it but are willing to submit the paperwork for me. That isn't really what I asked and they knew it. We were told by the office manager that they dont ever say they dont take an insurance because they would lose clients..... Very underhanded and dishonest....I have now have a $400 bill after paying almost $200 at the time of the visit.......that's a lot of money for 2 little boys cleanings and fluoride treatments. I feel like I was intentionally lied to and taken advantage of .

Experiencia negativa: The reason for our visit was procedure for my 2 weeks old child that formally calls “ tongue tie” or ankyloglossia medically. The office never take insurance for this type of procedure. Although , they will tell you to submit it on your own through your insurance( it’s a trick because insurance still won’t pay for it). We ended up with roughly 2.700$ bill. Just keep in mind , it’s a private business and they after your money. I was very disappointed with rude approach of one of the members of the team Ana, who had to take a pictures before procedure. My child was screaming hysterically while she was trying to pull my child’s mouth. I asked to please stop and give my 2 weeks old baby a break, the response was “I have to do it”. I’m working as healthcare professional myself and strongly believe that this is not approach that should be taken to patient’s care, please be more compassionate toward other people needs. On positive side the office staff is really nice!

The office is absolutely beautiful & clean. They made us feel really welcomed, answered all my questions. We live a little far away but it’s so worth it. We will keep coming back. I’m truly grateful to have found Aushburn pediatric dentistry.

Experiencia fantástica: Update : I have changed my 1 star rating to 5 stars as the office was quick to jump on the issue though I ended up paying the amount that i owe which was off from my initial estimate. In the end we are all human and errors happen but after my interaction with their staff , i felt they cared. My daughter is always excited to go there , its a friendly place with a lot of smiling face. We are still a customer! ---------------------- My daughter had a good experience. Doctors are friendly and service is nice. But i wont go there again as they do not honor their own initial estimates. After the insurance settled due as expected, i still got another $341 bill which after several tries to fix.. their simple answer was sorry our initial estimate was off by 40%, front desk error, talk about informed decisions. I find this unprofessional and incompetent behavior plus i strongly suggest anyone to compare their rates to others in the area. I suspect they are overly expensive , dont be fooled by the game room in the front. I will rather go to a regular professional dentist than take my kids here. I wont recommend them as you can get a surprise bill .. not worth it!

My son had his first cleaning and it went so well, they talked him through everything and made him feel so comfortable. I wish I would have found them sooner I have learned so much I did not know about dental care for young children. I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: My kids recently visited for a routine clean up and they loved going there. The waiting area is neat and keeps the kiddos entertained. Wait time was not long to their dismay. The staff and dentist are all so friendly and helpful. To top it off the kiddos get to watch their favorite show or movie, if available, while they do the check up and the techs will show the kiddos what they will be using and explain what’s going on to help put them at ease. I would definitely recommend to a friend because i appreciate my kids not having the negative association that comes with a dentist, and this is also after having two visit on two occasions for emergency dental accidents.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had a small bump in her mouth that needed to be removed and biopsied. Dr. Lynda and her assistant were great. My daughter was completely at ease and relaxed during the procedure which used a laser for removal. She didn't complain of any pain during or after and the biopsied area healed so well you couldn't even tell she had something removed. Dr. Lynda even called me herself with the results. The whole experience overall was wonderful and I would definitely recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an excellent first appointment for my girls today (ages 2 and 5). Everyone was very thorough and patient with us, even with a fussy and uncooperative toddler. I was greeted warmly and my girls were well tended to. I also received so much great information regarding my children's oral health. I'm so happy that we found such a wonderful dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Beware! Make sure you read over your bill. They add treatments to the bill that my children did not receive. They are not upfront or honest about the cost of treatments. They made me think that a treatment was only around 400. for Myobrace, then it turned out to be around 3000! I felt like they were playing word games to beat around the bush. Then they held on to our money from our insurance that was owed to us. They said it’s not our money it’s our credit cards. What? I couldn’t believe they said that. We pay our credit cards there for it’s our money. We paid upfront and our insurance gives us a reimbursement. Make sure you are on top of that and call your insurance company. They finally gave us our money. They do a ton of unnecessary X-rays. Make sure you do you research on that too. Otherwise the staff is real nice and my children love going there. Too bad they’re not honest with the billing.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the 3rd density I have taken my children to in less than 6 months. My son (4) gets very nervous and never wanted to coraportate with prior visits to a dentist, making my daughter (3) react the same way. The staff here are very friendly and personal to each child’s needs. We had no issue what so ever and my kids were very comfortable. I just wish they were in my insurance network lol but I don’t mind paying extra as long as my kids have a great experience to carry on for a lifetime!

It was a regular visit for my 2 and 4 year olds and while they were nervous and there were tears, the staff was super accommodating and gentle. Very, very happy with the service!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Very very aggressive treatment. Do not go here!!!! Friendly staff- no problems there. Really liked ppl I️ met. But they wanted to put my child under sedation for cavity treatment. (First they gave her laughing gas and said she wasn’t cooperative and we paid couple hundred and they didn’t fix tooth). 2nd and 3rd opinions said we needed to take care of only one of the few cavities she had. Our new place fixed her cavity in 5 min and we had zero problems. Ashburn Childrens place said my kid had 10+ cavities and they all needed filling. Kept asking me about sleep apnea study in my child. If your child has any cavities would not recommend going here.

My brother, cousins, and some of my friends are patients here and they really like the practice as well. The staff is nice and friendly and they make sure that I'm always having a fun and relaxed time. The dentists are meticulous and pay attention to detail, especially Dr. Duru and Dr. Tran. I highly recommend the Ashburn Childrens Dentisty to everyone as I never had a bad experience in the past 15 years at the dentistry and I always look forward to my appointments.
