Experiencia negativa: Dr. Mathes is a disaster! After my initial meeting when I was impressed with his kindness, he subsequently cancelled two appointments one hour before my scheduled appointment. He charged me for x-rays and exams but failed to make a single filling or crowns. I left him after losing money and time. His trick is that his review is requested as soon as you meet him and before you’ve a chance to really assess his expertise. Run from him!

My hygienist is kind, gentle, and encouraging. She motivates me to do more Than just brushing. When I have to have real dental work done, Dr. Mathes is great and I feel very comfortable under his care. His assistant is extremely nice and she makes my experience as pleasant as it could be. I like the fact that she took her time and made sure she did a proper cleaning (the best ever) My teeth felt so clean and polished. Experiencia negativa: The office person Shanice or Sha-something is always rude. They aren't helpful. Insurance paid for exrays that they give only partials and when requested in person to send on our behalf they sent two pages of 1 persons instead of the 4 people in the family. Also the reschedule a canceled appointment and then state you owe them 50ty for missing something they rescheduled. I believe the office manager is nice, dentist was nice but there is that one person who is rude, never helps and refuses to assist. Oh, don't bother asking for another person, She will ask you to hold, disconnect and play multiple games and theres absolutely nothing you can do! Fire that woman Shanince.

Experiencia negativa: I do not understand why my mother's (Lois Demanes) cavities were not filled as scheduled. Dr Ryan Davis sent you her records of her visit with them along with her xrays. Now we have to pay for more xrays in order for you to fill her cavity? Did Ryan Davis not send you sufficient xrays to fill her cavity? Please explain. Your staff was pleasant and accommodating, but the reason for my mom's appointment was to get her cavity filled. That did not happen. Best Regards jim Demanes.

Dr. Mathis has gone out of his way to organize and secure a great team of well trained and caring employees to both help schedule and obtain service and the ladies with the knowledge to carry out the dental care you need. I don’t feel like the office has tried to upsell me anything that wasn’t pertinent to my health and made me both welcomed back and comfortable returning. Many times we can leave a doctors office with the feelings that we were not heard or listened too, ignored and pushed aside. You will not have those concerns with Dr Mathis office. Please tell Kim that William sent you and maybe I’ll get a complimentary travel size toothpaste.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and welcoming to the office. Check in was simple. Hygienist (Kaiti) was very thorough with my exam (new patient). She provided explanations for everything that was being completed during the visit. She was meticulous with documenting everything she was viewing/examining. The Cavatron (Ultrasonic Scaler), manual scaling, polishing, flossing, and fluoride (brushed on) was a complete standout. Thank you, Kaiti (hope it is ok that I shared your name)...your really good at your job and you take it very serious. Finally, Dr. Mathes was super professional, kind, listened to my concerns and had questions of his own because he was an active listener. I normally do not give out reviews until I have had a few appointments in the bank. Not the case here. One of the best VA referrals I have ever attended for services.
