Everyone I interacted with, from scheduling (Daniel, Tracy) to Dr. Winnicki, was incredibly welcoming, prompt, and professional. I wish I had chosen the more primo insurance via my workplace so I could enjoy regular cleanings here, but paying out of pocket for the second opinion was affordable and well worth it. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I drive an hour round trip to see Dr Jeff. He has been my trusted dentist for years. He makes solid recommendations that you can trust and his work is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend The Dental Shoppe more.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family have been at the Dental Shoppe almost the entire time they've been open, for close to 19 years or so now. We've moved three times, much further away and would still never consider looking elsewhere for another dental office. They're simply the best. In their care. In their expertise. Plus, they're facility is always spotless. I've had the privilege of having Jenny as my primary hygienist for a couple of years and she always does a great job and is very personable. Highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: Went in get get a cavity filled that was discovered on my last dental exam. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Quick and painless, literally! The staff are always amazing and it's always worth my hour drive to see them.

The husband and wife team are so down to earth and so attentive and honest, I just can’t say enough positive things about them. The entire staff deserves mountains of kudos!!! I want to give a special shout out to Tracy at the front desk, too. She helped me book my appointment and made sure my insurance was accepted and was just incredibly delightful to deal with. She took a lot of time with me and truly went above and beyond and sounded like she had a great time doing it. You just don’t find stellar service like that much anymore these days! This place is one in a million!!!!!! You all rock!

Negative experience: Edited to add: The facility responded publicly to my review and decided to copy and paste their original email to me, which seems redundant because I have already read that email several times. I understand that the day I reached out the doctor was out of the office but to tell me there are no appointments, even emergency appointments, available until October seems like something that should be led with. I did share my dental anxiety and because of how severe the anxiety is, I chose not to leave my phone number and preferred to communicate through email (which was offered in their first email to me) so I'm unclear why not having my phone number is an issue or why I am being blamed for not providing it or explaining even more how much pain I am in. I had also already provided my "concerns" in my initial email and those were not addressed and instead, I was offered to come in and have my concerns addressed in person? For any new patient, acknowledging the fact that I am in pain currently would have made a world of difference in their communication with me. Again, I read all of the reviews here before reaching out thinking I would be in great hands but was ultimately dismissed and told "good luck" finding another place. This review is not based on the actual doctors as I'm sure they are wonderful. This is a review based on my experience with Tracy and how dismissive she was and how I was not heard with my concerns or questions. I chose this office because of the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience was the opposite. I reached out as a new patient, explained multiple times that I was currently in pain, and was met with no acknowledgment of that. Instead I was offered a tour of the facility. I had to reiterate that I was not looking for a routine exam, but rather was in pain and needed help soon, I was told new patients couldn’t be seen until October. When I explained a third time that I was looking for an emergency appointment, I was told the doctor is out of the office, which felt dismissive and not believable. Why wouldn't you mention this in your first email to me? To top it off, I was told “best of luck finding another place.” As someone with extreme dental anxiety, this whole interaction made me feel disregarded and left me in pain without any help. I wish I could have experienced the 5 star reviews but unfortunately, I now have to wait all weekend (in pain) to find another provider.

Fantastic experience: First time at the Dental Shoppe. 60 minutes with Dr. Winnicki reviewing X rays, dental probing and plaque cleaning. He was very knowledgeable and explained the o b servant ions he made of exam. He had the latest x Ray tech ... and took many more trays than I have in past obtaining side views and examination of roots. There was then a 30 minute period finish work with hygienist. A terrific experience.

Positive experience: Our family went to this dental practice for over 10 years and consistently received outstanding care, the best we’ve ever had. The team is professional, attentive, and always made us feel well cared for. Unfortunately, about 2 years ago, it became increasingly difficult to get appointments. While we would have preferred to stay, the lack of availability led us to move on.

Positive experience: Everyone was very nice. Doctor seems to be very good. Wish the hygienist I had would have used her face mask correctly covering her nose. It's not like we all didn't have years to figure that one out with a whole pandemic. Thinking about it after work, I realized how uncomfortable that made me while I was laying there with my mouth wide open. That part was not great.

Negative experience: Arrived at my appointment today only to find out that that they were no longer accepting my insurance. I understand that business decisions sometimes need to be made, however they should have had the curiosity of notifying the patient BEFORE the appointment. I ended up having to pay out of pocket today and now find a new dentist.

Negative experience: Dental work is okay, but billing practices are questionable. Somehow failed to submit a routine teeth cleaning claim to insurance and then didn’t bother informing me until 2 years later. Refused to admit their error and insist I owe them out-of-pocket for the visit. Can’t recommend this dental office to anyone using insurance.

Dr. Winnicki and staff are very professional and have always provided me excellent dental care. Recently finished some restorative work on my front teeth and couldn't be happier. Fantastic experience: Wow. Such an easy and pleasant experience. This was my first visit to The Dental Shoppe, though my kids and my husband had been here before. Everyone was super-friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. I was very happy with the xrays and cleaning I received, and the fact that The Dental Shoppe takes my insurance (Delta Dental) which covered all but $10. Awesome!
