Fantastic experience: We have taken our 3 kids here literally since before they all had teeth! Cannot recommend them enough. Dr Howe somehow even remembers our names when we run into him in town. The staff has always all been top notch and their facilities are clean and welcoming.

Our kids had their X-rays taken without any issues, and every step of the appointment was explained to them in a way they could understand. Thanks to the kindness and patience of the team, there wasn't a single tear, cavity, or unhappy moment during the entire visit. The biggest endorsement came from our 9-year-old, who gave the experience a 10 out of 10 and is already excited to come back for his next cleaning in February! Fantastic experience: Dr. Belinda Campbell is exceptional! My children have been seeing her since they were babies, starting with their first dental visits, and we’ve continued with routine preventive care every six months. She has also been incredible when unexpected dental issues arise. This weekend, one of my child’s fillings became dislodged, and food became impacted beneath the gum tissue. We called on a Sunday and were able to get an appointment first thing Monday morning. Dr. Campbell evaluated the problem, replaced the restoration, removed the impacted debris, and had everything taken care of in less than 30 minutes! As both a healthcare provider and a parent, I really appreciate how efficient, skilled, and reassuring she is. She explains procedures in a way that helps kids feel comfortable, and even administering local anesthetic was handled gently, that what could have been a scary experience actually felt manageable and even a little fun for my child (who also got to watch Bluey). They confirmed the cavity and proceeded with a filling and did a great job making her feel comfortable! Fantastic experience: Outstanding. My daughter has required several tooth extractions and had two poor experiences before we switched to this practice. Her last experience was night-and-day from the previous. Dr. Howe took all the time she needed, making her feel comfortable and supported. He explained things without dumbing them down, and make sure anesthesia was fully working before proceeding. My kiddo also mentioned someone was rubbing her hand during the extractions, which "helped". Thank you Dr. Howe and staff!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Campbell is hands down the best pediatric dentist out there! We brought our 12 month old daughter to her for the first time a few weeks ago and were blown away by her care. She was a great resource as we discussed needing to take care of our daughter's lip tie and were extremely happy with the care before, during and after the procedure. Fantastic experience: This dentistry practice exceeded all my expectations. Not only were they kind and attentive to myself and my child they were patient. They explained everything they were going to do before they did it. And when it took my child a long time to be less anxious about different parts of the visit they took their time. They didn’t seem rushed or harried. From the receptionist to the dental assistants to the actual dentist, the experience was really exceptional. They even proposed a way to help my medically anxious child to get used to the dentist more. When I reflected about how positive the experience was, I got all choked up. When my kiddo was asked how his dentist appointment was he said “it was pretty good”. That might not seem like much but that’s the best review my kiddo has ever given a dentist. Amazing place.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is an established patient of Dr. Campbell’s and we went in today for a follow-up peek at a baby tooth that refused to make way for a permanent tooth coming in. This quickly became a tooth extraction procedure that I wasn’t 100% expecting; of course, they were already prepared, from the front desk to the procedure area. We were out of the office in 15 minutes with a happy kid an a visit from the tooth fairy imminent! Dr. Campbell and her team never cease to amaze me with their efficiency and ability to work with children of all ages and along all stages of their dental journey. I am so grateful they are part of our community!

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my two daughters to Dr. Keaton Howe at Young Dentistry for almost 20 years. This is the most wonderful pediatric dentist practice in the world. The office is very clean and tastefully decorated with items of interest for children and parents. The front desk staff are very welcoming. They send reminders for appointments that are coming up, which is truly helpful and appreciated. The hygienists are kind, gentle, and offer several flavors of toothpaste the kids can choose from, with a treasure chest from which they can select a prize at the end of the visit. Sunglasses with fun kids’ designs are even offered during the exam to reduce the glare in their eyes from the bright lights. Each exam chair has a comfortable stool beside it for a parent to sit on so they can be with their child, and all staff are great about sharing information with the parent throughout the visit. Dr. Howe is absolutely outstanding at building trust with children by explaining things in language they can understand. He communicates clearly by letting them know what he will touch in their little mouths before he actually does so, to prepare them for what is coming next every step of the way. He shows them his dental instruments and lets them touch the safe parts of them to satisfy curiosity and quell fear. He even gives siblings a chance to be a part of the interactions with their brother or sister in the chair. He offers consistent encouragement and positive feedback, uses a soft and animated voice when speaking to “littles” that is extremely kind, and it is easy to tell that he loves working with children because he is well-versed in child psychology to reduce anxiety in little ones and to make it fun for them! (One time he explained that he would be putting a “Princess Crown” on one of my daughters’ baby teeth that had a large cavity in it when she was about age four, and it significantly helped reduce her fear of the procedure.) He never belittles the kids and always gives them helpful guidelines and suggestions for maintaining their oral hygiene. He explains things to them in language they can understand and makes the visit very positive for them. My two daughters have never had a fear of the dentist and have always been excited when it’s time to visit Dr. Howe (even through their teens, because he is so positive and is in the know for cool things that grade schoolers, tweens, and teens like to chat about!) Thank you, Dr. Howe and Young Dentistry for your incredible service, expertise, and warmth throughout the years. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my children!!

From removing a lip and tongue tie during infancy, to routine checkups, she (and the hygienists, too) balance firmness with fun and kindness to take care of our squirmy, not super dentist-friendly toddler. As a parent, I have appreciated her knowledge and and guidance on ties and the relationship between breastfeeding and oral health which have helped us make the informed decisions for our family without feeling pressured. The front desk has gone above and beyond to help us with insurance claims for non-routine care. We always feel supported here and love this practice!

Dr. McNear is absolutely stellar (and I hear similarly positive things about the other dentists in the Young Dentistry practice from other parents I know who send their children there). We have complex, uncommon autoimmune factors that impact our treatment options (which most dentists aren’t even aware of) and Dr. McNear is very knowledgeable. Can’t speak highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Took my 15-month old in to get checked out after a fall/trauma to a front baby tooth. It was his first visit and he is extra sensitive to doctors’ offices so he is not an easy patient right now. However, Dr. Howe and staff were all patient, calm, and understanding. We’ll likely make this our dental office for both boys long-term.

Negative experience: Update: Dr. Howe was aggressive about getting my daughter to stop sucking her thumb and was actually quite rude about pushing her to see a therapist that specializes in thumb sucking. He went so far as to hand me (unsolicited) business cards for two therapists. I was completely taken aback when he pushed all of this in front of my daughter (who was 6 at the time) and she was uncomfortable so I had to sent her to the waiting room to continue the discussion. Dr. Howe was weirdly emphatic about it so I decided to just find another pediatric dentist. This was in 2023 and she stopped sucking her thumb that summer, when she was ready. The staff is perfectly nice. Honestly it was just a horrible experience with Dr. Howe. Original: We always have a good experience with the office and Dr. Howe. My normally shy daughter feels comfortable with the entire staff and atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Belinda & assistant Reyna were amazing with my kid. He can be tricky with sensory stuff and new scenes and they immediately put him at ease, worked within his comfort zone while steadily increasing it, and he was smiling on the way out. Last dentist we went to he wouldn't do anything for and was so nervous. I was super impressed with these staff members and even the waiting room is fun for kids. Recommended.

They worked with us and her for several years with firm kindness that helped take away the scariness of the dentist and now cleanings are a breeze. Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this office! We saw Dr Campbell to evaluate our 10 week old. As mentioned in another review, she was clear, concise, and appropriately conservative (leaning more towards only necessary intervention) - She completely put us at ease with her calm bedside manner, thorough explanation and diagnosis and care plan. We traveled from Conifer to see her because she was so highly recommended by our own dentist and our lactation consultant. Honestly, we had such a wonderful experience with her that we will likely keep her as our kiddo’s dentist for future when his teeth start coming in. Cannot recommend Dr Campbell enough!

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr. Campbell for a third opinion - our regular dentist said our 6-year old needed to have two crowned teeth extracted and three new fillings; the second dentist - who did the crown work - said the crowns were fine and only one filling was needed. As a parent of two young children with dental issues, I need to have a dentist I can trust to be thorough and accurate in their assessment of necessary interventions. We found Dr. Campbell to be clear, concise, and appropriately conservative (leaning more towards only necessary intervention). She was also easy to talk to and non-confrontational about our desire to obtain a second (or third) opinion. We were very happy with our experience there and felt comfortable with her level of expertise; additional years of experience really matter! No, they don't have all the bells and whistles of the other clinics (play houses, wall of toys, TVs mounted on the ceiling, etc.), but it's very clear, even from our brief visit, that Dr. Campbell knows her subject matter well. We've already made some changes to our kids' tooth care routines that we expect will greatly improve their dental health. We will 100% be transferring both our kids to Young Dentistry for Children!

Dr. Howe has done amazing work on our children's teeth, and has an incredibly calm, patient demeanor with both that puts them at ease at every visit. We appreciate the practice's commitment to a healthy environment through the use of HEPA filtration, the option of private rooms, and masking. Overall, we couldn't ask for a better dental office or dental team.

It has been a joy to have Dr. Howe and his staff work with us whether in cleanings and check ups or emergencies. This office is like family to all of us. It is hard to believe that this was our last visit with Young Dentistry. Thanks for the years care. We will truly miss you all especially Dr. Howe.

Fantastic experience: We love Young Dentistry! My son is often very nervous and takes time to warm up, and the whole staff is so friendly and takes their time. They brushed the teeth of his two favorite animals first, showed him each tool before starting, and really took time to make sure he was comfortable. We went home and he said, “The dentist was great! They are so nice” and I’m so grateful!

Fantastic experience: I have three children. I didn't know about pediatric dentistry until my second and third children. Dr. Howe has been so good with my other two children. He encourages them to be part of their own care. If there's ever a need for any extra work, like a cavity filling, it is done in such a patient and kind manner, with a caring team to talk your child through what could be a traumatic experience. It's comforting to hear your dentist speak so kindly to your children. I really appreciate the method that the dentists take to allow a child to grow before rushing into extractions or braces. Although, in time, I know that my children will need braces, the Dr. Howe is taking a very careful approach and not rushing so that the adult teeth can come in and child can grow. The office staff is very kind, patient and efficient as well as the dental assistants. We have had, so far, over three consistent years of positive care.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr. Campbell at Young Dentistry! She is so kind, gentle, fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. She is so great with my kids, and she always makes them feel comfortable. She always explains things thoroughly to me as well. The hygienists and office staff are also friendly and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Campbell as a pediatric dentist!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing office! Dr Belinda is incredible, my daughter is always excited for her dentist appointments. The office staff is so welcoming and efficient as well. My other daughter had a severe tongue tie and dr Belinda made the experience as pleasant as it could be. So informative and patient when making the decision.
