Fantastic experience: Everyone here is wonderful! Makes you feel like family, very honest and great prices. No price gouging unlike other dentist offices.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. Impossible to get into office front desk .

Negative experience: Front desk doesn’t really pays attention on the answers you are asked lost my petience and had to hang up, I don’t understand how their rating is 4.9!with bad customer service at front desk.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Longabach is a friendly and knowledgeable dentist. He takes good care of his business and always has the best employees working there. Everyone is super nice and professional and always make you feel welcome when you come like you’re part of the family… I definitely recommend them to all my friends when they ask me what dentist I use . I know they’re going to be treated right ! I’ve used about five dentist in Polk County, and he is by far the best!

Fantastic experience: Who wants to sign up for dental work? ... if you're like me, you just let life get ahead of you. We all know what it takes for dental health. I'm a regular flosser and brusher, but we really do need a partner for our oral health and no secret there are.dire consequences if you let toothache and abscesses come and go, but don't get handled by your dentist. Now my story is as a cancer survivor. I was restricted for dental work for three years for fear of bleeding gums. The good news is I had a lot of choices, but I went to Hometown Dental for my first post cancer recovery dental plan referred by a dear friend Teresa, who as well as a happy Dental customer and I can say my first day experience from establishing me as a patient from my x-rays to my cleaning to my consultation with the doctor and the hygienist was absolutely beyond my expectations and the other thing is, it's all about the vibe, and the vibe of the practice was beyond wonderful. I've already referred two more people in the last 24 hours that especially if they haven't been to the dentist in a while and my answer has always they haven't been in a while. I just let them know without exception you gotta get over to Hometown dentist and that was just my first day. I'm so excited about the dental plan I have for Life and these are my dental partners for Life. Bobby Rocket

Negative experience: I was having a lot of pain thinking that I would need a tooth extracted (wisdom tooth), or possibly a cavity. I went in, they did X-rays and I was not told that anything regarding teeth needing to be extracted(completely in shock) but why am I having so much pain? I was then told that I needed a deep cleaning and that would fix the problem (bacteria and plaque) the went over the cost and I paid. The hygienist starts with the cleaning and a certain area she touched caused pains (she looked at me as if I was overreacting) It wasn’t until then(the hygienist called the Dr. in the room and he then told me what was wrong while going over the X-rays)I was told that I would need to be referred to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth to be extracted. After paying 719$ for X-rays and deep cleaning of only the left side top and bottom (which took about 20 minutes) I was highly upset ! Had I known prior to I would have opted on waiting for the deep cleaning and addressed the teeth causing pain. I was never told anything regarding my wisdoms until during the cleaning and after I had paid. When I let them know why I was frustrated nothing was done! Lesson learned

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist in Lakeland! I had a bad toothache and they got me in right away and helped me. Everyone is friendly and they didn’t judge me, which is something I felt at another dentist office. I went to Brandy for a cleaning and she’s was so kind and gentle. See you all in 6 months

Fantastic experience: Love love this whole dental practice. They are not a chain, a real down to earth dentist office. When I first went I heard whistling and thought how nice. When I got called back the dentist met me up front whistling. When I got my dental treatment and I thought there was something wrong. My old dentist treatment plan was over 5,000.00 dollars. I walked out with there it wasn't even 400.00 hundred. Come to find out I didn't need that so called work. Shame on these other chain of dentists to rip people off. I felt so calm as he was putting my cap on and doing a filling I was biting his poor finger, I was that relaxed. The whole office is absolutely wonderful. So happy they are here in Lakeland.

Fantastic experience: Great service every time and they don’t try to sell me extra things I don’t need. They are always straight with me about my oral health. They are affordable and professional. Highly recommend. I started bringing my kids a few years ago and have no regrets. The service is excellent every time.

Unlike other dentist offices that I’ve visited, the hygienist at Hometown Dental was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable, kind, attentive to me, and made sure that I understood every part of my visit. The dentist that I saw was great because she actually paid attention to my concerns and took her time to talk with me so that I understand. I was nervous, but they made my appointment smooth and enjoyable, thank you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Longabach did an emegency tooth pull for me, a few years ago, and I was so thankful! I had called their emergency line, I think it was like 1 a.m. and they were out there within a couple hours! Will never forget that and will always recommend Hometown Dental.

Dr. longabach scored a 10 with his "Chairside" manner. His hygienist (lisa) was an absolute gem.! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I’ll start off with i had bonds on two of my teeth from another dentist that was horrible back in 2014, needless to say i haven’t been to the dentist since from how traumatizing every experience i’ve had with a dentist is ( ages 6-14 ) well my big headed 70 pound pitbull decided to jump up and knock one of my bonds out so i had to get it fixed. Gods timing was perfect because i found this wonderful DR and his amazing staff to help me get a crown on that tooth. They made me feel so comfortable with how nervous i was about getting it done. They made sure i was okay throughout the entire process and i would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a dentist. I definitely will be going back for everything now , even a cleaning!

Fantastic experience: Update: 3 years later. Still the best team and Doc. He and his team take great care and are gentle in everyway. This go around 2 wisdom teeth extracted pain free. He even made me a dental spacer to sleep with which relaxed my TMJ greatly. He will always be my Densit until he stops which wont be anytime soon. Thankyou again Doc and your wonderful team. Dr Will and his team are the best! I had a wonderful experience getting my teeth cleaned, couple of fillings and a wisdom tooth pulled. They took great care in making me comfortable and absolutely pain free. He and his team are my local dentist from now on.

Negative experience: Great place to get your teeth cleaned and general care. Wouldn't recommend to get a crown or speciality work done here. He did a crown for me in 2020, I returned because it wasn't fit correctly. He "fixed" it but I'm now having to get this replaced by another dentist. I feel he should have replaced it. He should have seen it needed replaced on my return visit yet didn't do it.
