We were able to secure an urgent appointment and, to our surprise, the treatment was completed the same day, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. Fantastic experience: Best endodontics office in central FL by a long shot. The office is super clean, the front staff were very nice. Dr Logsdon amd his assistant were incredibly skilled and quick. I needed a double lower molar root canal on the fly for severe pain and I clocked them at just under an hour for both teeth. That's nuts! Bonus shoutout to them letting you pick whatever music you want to hear during your procedure. I hope my heavy metal didnt distract too much! Final props need to be given for the Dr recognizing my Adventure Time smart watch face haha

Root canals area not something anyone looks forward to, but they do a great job. Oh yeah - I'm supossed to give a shout out to Jory as well. Dr. L has wonderful bedside manner and took the time to explain every step of the procedure, which made the whole thing much less daunting. Jory, the dental assistant, was absolutely wonderful — she made the process go so smoothly and helped me feel at ease throughout. Maria greeted me at check-in with such a friendly attitude, and Laura at checkout was sweet and made the payment process quick and painless (pun intended!). Fantastic experience: When the crown on one of my molars came off after 45 years, my dentist first recommended extracting the tooth and getting an implant. Upon getting a second and third opinion it was determined that the tooth could be saved and recrowned but a root canal would be required. Having heard multiple stories of painful and time consuming root canal procedures I was hesitant to commit to having it done. To my pleasant surprise, Dr Langston and his very professional staff were able to complete my root canal quickly and without any pain whatsoever. I would highly recommend Oviedo Endodontics to anyone in need of a root canal procedure.

Fantastic experience: Went to this office for a second opinion and a root canal. Dr. John Logsdon explained clearly what the issues are, what the remedies may be and provided exact procedure step by step explanation of what is to be done. Very confident in his abilities and that really reassured me of the success of the treatment. Choice of music was ‘classic rock’ and the relaxed yet confident manner of how this root canal was done made me drift off into a nap. Followup is in 6 months and I feel pretty good that the tooth was saved. Special mention: assistant Yahaira is a competent professional that explained the x-ray images so I could understand why and how the root canal is to be done. Thank you to all of the staff.

Fantastic experience: I had my first root canal .. I went in thinking it was going to be a consultation and they said they could do it the same day. As much as I fear the dentist(reasons why my teeth need so much TLC now LOL) I decided to do it & so glad I did! It was quick, the staff and DR. Is amazing, great music, and it was nothing what I thought it would be. Shots will always suck but so glad I picked this place and would pick it over and over again!

Fantastic experience: I can across this office because it was closest to my house. But once I placed the call and spoke with Yahaira, the office manager, I knew I would be taken care of. She listened to my story and issues with a half done root canal that I was in pain now from. She was able to get me in quickly. I was met by Sarah, the doctor’s assistant, who again listened to my issues and was very caring and comforting. I met Dr James Logsdon who explained several possibilities I had going into this half done root canal. He was cool and stated nothing but “good vibes”. Sarah put on some 70’s music, my choice, and the doctor proceeded. I was thinking in my head that this may just be his “challenge” of the day! He was professional, courteous and very accommodating. He quickly got to work and before long the procedure was over. I felt completing at ease the entire time and with his reassurance during the procedure, I had no doubt I would be leaving his office satisfied. The only mistake was I should have came to him FIRST for the start of the root canal. This office is highly recommended and if I ever need another one (which we all know root canals are probably one of the worst dental procedures ever!!!) I will most definitely seeking Dr James Logsdon to complete it.

Fantastic experience: If you had told me I’d enjoy a redo root canal, I would’ve laughed. Yet here we are. From the moment I walked into Oviedo Endodontics, I knew this wasn’t going to be a typical dentist visit. Dr. James Logsdon and Dental Hygienist Madi (top notch southern belle) were absolutely amazing. Normally, I hate the dentist. But these two somehow turned a root canal into nonstop entertainment. Singing, laughing, and genuinely fun conversations the entire time. There was even some talk about life experiences and stories along the way, which made me think… I honestly can’t wait to read both of your books someday. I better see stories of travel, scuba diving, and a new pilot. Oh, and one of the X-ray machines sings to you while it does a full 360° scan of your teeth. No joke. It honestly makes you want to dance while standing there, which feels very wrong and very right at the same time in a dental office. Beyond the laughs, the procedure itself was quick, smooth, and extremely thorough. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and like part of their practice family, not just another patient in the chair. I can confidently say I now look forward to the day my regular dentist says, “This one needs a specialist,” because it means I get to come back here. If you need endodontic work and want top-notch care with a side of great energy, this is the place.

I was referred here by my Dentist for a re-treatment on a molar that had a root canal (15 years past due). It was a complex, high stakes situation. The staff are - brilliant, patient oriented, determined, and non-judgmental. They take their craft seriously. They run a tight, competent, and professional ship. Addy: The young lady at the front desk. She booked my appointment. She handles the initial paperwork + deals with the insurance company. I believe she is the Patient Advocate within the clinic. Genuine, polite, and patient oriented. Alexander. He handles payments/billing/data. Very professional and polite. He's a young guy (in his 20s). Once your appointment is over. He deals with closing your visit out (billing etc). Great personality. Maria (Dental Hygienist): She is - professional, serious minded, knowledgeable, high I.Q, very prepared, methodical. She came in to observe/assist my procedure. It was her 'first day' but honestly.. It was like she had 20+ years of experience for such a young person. Maria is not easily distracted (she keeps her focus on the patient and their comfort), extremely skilled, can handle pressure effortlessly. It was effortless. *Maria is multilingual (English, Portuguese, Spanish). Madison (Senior Dental Hygienist): She worked together with Maria to assist and help oversee the procedure. She is a proper Southerner (polite, charming, southern accent, serious minded, pleasant). Assisted with everything. Showed me my charts. Went over things with Maria and Dr James. During the procedure, she ensured everything went smooth. Her and Madison were like bread and butter. Seamless and perfect. Dr. James Logsdon: He is at the top of his game. High IQ, pleasant, and polite. He made this procedure look effortless. I had a damaged molar that was infected (infection was spreading beneath the tooth and about to reach my blood vessels). He has a lot of experience with complex situation and it shows. Dr James was able to fix all of this effortlessly. He takes his work very seriously. Everything is done to the highest standards. Follow Up: They followed up with me multiple times. They called and sent an email with reminders. Which was a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness: Immaculate levels of cleanliness. I had a very positive experience at this clinic. I highly recommend you come here for any care relating to Endodontics/Orthodontics. You will get top notch patient care. Fantastic experience: It was a great experience ,they did a root canal on me and i was nervous at first about the shots for the anesthesia but they gave me a stress ball and Madi had asked me if i wanted to listen to some music i said yeah and so she put on some Christmas music and it made me feel more calm. After that i wasn’t nervous at all her and Dr. John were talking me through it and they said i did great and i would definitely recommend going there, it is a great place.

Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly and efficient. I dislike going to the dentist let alone an endodontist but honestly my experience was pleasant overall. I wish they had an online scheduler but calling to make an appointment was easy. Pricing was transparent (you do pay for the consult/exam). My actual root canal retreat went great. I got to choose my own music and Dr. John even sang along. He’s a pretty chill, down to earth person and it put me at ease. The dental assistant, brunette whose name starts with a J? Jory maybe? She was awesome. Good vibes and easy to talk to. Post-op directions are clear. I actually had minimal to no pain. When I went to my local dentist to get my permanent filling, the staff there raved about how well Dr.Logson sets up the tooth for them. Overall: great experience, good vibes and a healthy mouth

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency and they were able to see me right away. The root canal was done with high level of professionalism. First class treatment. It was a root canal done by another dentist on July of this year, just to compare it was from hell to heaven. Thanks to all the staff from the front desk, Addy to Dr. John Lowsdon, his assistant Jaylynn. I almost fall asleep during the procedure. 100% recommended. They gave me pain medication and antibiotics to prevent infections. First class experience.

Fantastic experience: This was my second visit. On the first visit there was no clear evidence that I needed a root canal so I was not given one. A month later the discomfort had developed into pain, so I returned as instructed. They fitted me in the same day ! Dr James Longsdon and Cynthia were a great team. The reexamination showed that a root canal treatment was by then clearly needed. They offered me the choice of having it done there and then, so I asked them to go ahead. The procedure was fast, and the only discomfort was the unavoidable "slight pinch" of the numbing injection. All went well and both Dr Longsdon and Cynthia are clearly experts in this field. Surprisingly, I felt no pain as the local anesthetic wore off, and took Ibuprofen and Tylenol purely as a precaution. I had a good night sleep and no pain the next day ! I absolutely recommend Oviedo Endodontics for their caution and not rushing into doing a procedure, then so rapidly and comfortably carrying it out when my condition developed and it was required. Fantastic experience: Convenient location near my home. Beautiful office. Staff were all very personable. Estimate of out of pocket expense was provided the day before my appointment. No prolonged wait time. Staff and Dr were quick to see and evaluate my concern. Thankfully no treatment needed. I hope I never have to need the services in the future but if I do I will return happily. I highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: I called Oviedo Endodontics on September 10, 2025 in pain needing a root canal. The office was so helpful and set me up the same day at 12:30pm. Dr. John was so kind, and we talked in detail about the options available to me. Both Dr. John and his assistant Cynthia made me feel very comfortable. The root canal was done and was painless. I am a very nervous dental patient, and this was a wonderful experience for me. I highly recommend Dr. John and Cynthia.

Fantastic experience: This place is a top notch probably the best I ever visited in long time, top quality equipment, top notch technology, the Front desk people were amazingly friendly and helpful, and then came Jory which was an awesome experience, taking care of every detail and explaining every process of my procedure, she even played one of the favorite albums I like, and than came Dr. James which was super knowledgeable and very professional, I had root canals before but this one was the best experience I ever had, I have very sensitive teeth and I always require extra anesthesia, Dr. James made sure I felt no pain at all and He completed the procedure successfully. I really love this place, super clean, and everyone was super friendly with me. I definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this dental clinic clinic and I was so nervous, but I have to say I had the most heartwarming experience as soon as I walked into the front desk to the dental assistant and the doctor himself, everybody was very polite and professional, and made me feel very welcome. Fantastic experience: I seen Dr James logsden and dental assistant Madi for a root canal. To be honest my anxiety was very high because of the previous root canal I had somewhere else. Dr James turn the music on and we went through my root canal listening to the Red Hot chili peppers. He knew when I was at the point that I was still in pain and he took care of it and made the whole procedure very simple. I would have to say that they both provided world-class service to me and I would highly recommend them and I hope that the military sends me back because it was a wonderful experience even though I was having a root canal. In closing for all military families I heard them say thank you for your service at least twice although that's not a requirement it's certainly is nice to hear.
