Fantastic experience: Very short waiting time. Dr.Mark Tinney is very thorough in his work. The staff is very friendly and will answer all your questions. If you have to get a Novacane shot, you won't feel a thing. I had another vist today 09/06/23. The staff was very efficient, polite and professional. Dr. Mark will make sure that you understand everything he is doing and pays attention to every detail. Top quality work.

Fantastic experience: Due to having to take a lot of blood pressure medicines from a young age my teeth were starting to decay pretty quickly. I have been on blood pressure meds for over 15 yrs now. My mouth was constantly very dry. Dr. Tinney did his best to try and stay up with the decay however, it was happening very quickly. He saved them by making me a complete top crowned set of teeth. My own teeth were turning yellow and started to get visible gaps in between them. The crowns are beautiful. No gaps and a beautiful white color. And these are only the temps!!! Dr. Tinney did it all in one day!!! It was incredible. He and his staff are so sweet. They truley make you feel special. They work at your pace. Not to mention the numbing gel they use is awesome. I didn't feel the numbing shots. They had to go in places that are known for hurting to numb, like by the sinus cavities. I barely felt anything. I am very hard to numb Dr. Tinney said but somehow he does it everytime without hurting me. He is the only Dentist that I am finally not afraid to go to for anything. St. Bernard Parish is very, very lucky to have him and his staff to take care of us. I truly can not say enough good things about him and his staff. I love them all. I will include pics when Dr. Tinney puts the permanents in, in about 2 to 3 weeks. God please continue to bless Dr. Tinney and his staff and God bless whoever reads this. Tracey Damare

Fantastic experience: I am so incredibly happy i went to Dr. Tinney's office. From the time I walked in my experience with Kayla, who was so friendly by the way, was super easy and smoothe. I went for a new patient cleaning appointment, Brooke is the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Let me jus tell you she did an ABSOULTELY wonderful job. She was so patient & so kind. I can't wait to go back to see her. I have been getting compliments all day today about how white and shiny my teeth look. Also, Lacey, the dental assistant, was so caring with my daughter who is only five months old. Dr. Tinney is also so patient & caring. The way they welcomed me & my daughter is unmatched. From someone who has past dental anxiety, I can't wait to return to see Brooke for my six month cleaning. Absolute best experience i have ever had at a dentist office. I would recommend anyone to be seen at this office :)

I went in for a cleaning with Caitlin, and she was amazing—super gentle, thorough, and made me feel really comfortable the entire time. Dr. Tinney came in to check my teeth and was just as great. Fantastic experience: I found Tinney Family Dentistry after a bad experience at our previous dentist. I was impressed from the very beginning. He is a wonderful dentist and has a fantastic staff! Everyone from front to back is exceptional. They all seem to really enjoy helping people. Visiting the dentist doesn't have to be terrible and this place proves it.

Fantastic experience: Stayed out of a dentist office for a while but when I came back, I came here. Everybody is so kind. I explained my nervousness on procedures and they were so warming and patient. They explain things thoroughly and didn’t judge me for not getting my cleanings for a few years. Caitlyn is an amazing hygienist!! I absolutely loved Dr. Tinney as well.

Walked into their office on a Monday morning without an appointment, they took me right in and made me feel at home. Kayla at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, like talking to an old friend. She made the scheduling process easy and enjoyable, which is such a rare experience these days! I typically feel a ton of anxiety walking into a dentist’s office, but not here. Everyone was so kind and patient. I had about a million questions, and both Kayla and Caitlin, the hygienist, answered every single one without making me feel rushed or silly for asking. Caitlin was absolutely amazing—she cleaned my teeth and took my X-rays while making sure I felt completely comfortable the entire time. And then there’s Dr. Tinney. What a gem! He has such a calm, reassuring vibe, and I could tell he genuinely cared about my concerns. He explained everything so clearly, and I felt like he truly listened to me, which isn’t always the case in healthcare settings. I honestly hesitated to write this because I don’t want them to get too busy, but they deserve all the recognition. Finding a great dentist office is like finding gold, and this one is IT.
