Fantastic experience: I’m 65 years old and have never had a better dentist than Dr. Ivonne Castro with all her dental assistants are awesome! I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months but at Renew Dental - my teeth were cleaned, polished and inspected better than any dental establishment I’ve been to - my whole life. I’m so glad my niece recommended Renew Dental 3 years ago! Honestly the best, knowledgeable as well as the most professional dentist & hygienists I’ve ever been to! I look forward to going to my next dental appointment now ( instead of dreading them in the past).

Fantastic experience: Dr. Castro is very knowledgeable, patient and caring.

Negative experience: If you want to pay thousands of dollars out pocket for any procedure then have your insurance pay you back then this is the place for you. If you want to be told you lost a filling but you actually had a chipped tooth while having your chipped tooth in your pocket and told you need a crown then this place is for you. If you want an appointment minutes from calling but paying out pocket first for anything then this is the place I recommend.

I went in for my first appointment having a really bad day and being really worried about my teeth In my health. Every single person on their team was supportive and compassionate, and made me feel at home. I left in such a much better place than when I had arrived. They all spent time with me, and did not rush me through any part of the appointment. I’m so relieved to have a team of people that cares about me and who are going to approach my dental health holistically.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation to see if they can help with my trigeminal nerve damage. After several tests and listening to my concerns, Dr. Castro gave me some hope. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Each person in the office was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I was very impressed with the personal tough and thoroughness of everyone. The equipment seemed to be cutting edge as well. I’ve continued to have top-notch care at Renew Wellness Dentistry. Julie, the dental hygienist was phenomenal, so personable, knowledgeable, and caring. Amber, the office manager, is also top- notch and always so resourceful. I Dr. Castro has tremendous knowledge and is very personable. I am very pleased with Renew Wellness Dentistry!!

The dentist (Dr. Castro) attends many continuing education and training seminars each year, always keeping herself, her staff and her equipment up-to-date and on the cutting edge of new dental technology and techniques. Her response to treatment during the age of Covid has been exemplary for both her patients and her staff. The whole dental staff is very knowledgeable, skilled and always empathetic. Her dental hygienist Julie is truly one of the most talented and caring technicians I've ever known. Become a patient and you will quickly see exactly how wonderful (and gentle) the whole staff is!

It is a minimum two hour drive for me, but worth every minute of travel. They are the BEST. I could not ask for a more caring and friendly environment. Negative experience: I habe to say being new to the area finding a good doctors with great bed side manners was not what i found here. She found the root cause but was very short as if a number in a business..."next" came to play. Then came the cost which was amazing out of the park at a whooping $3000. I decided if i want great service for a painful situation understanding was needed. This did not happen here. Greatly appreciated but never again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Castro was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. After my examination, I found out that I needed to get a root canal as well as have a crown replaced. I am usually very uptight in the dental chair, but Dr Castro took her time explaining what she was going to do before she did it. She checked several times to make sure I was still numb and told me to let her know if I was uncomfortable in any way. This really put me at ease. I would recommend Belle Chasse Dental and Dr Castro to anyone I know.

My father who is 80 years old is able to smile again because of Dr. Castro & Julie. He was afraid of going to the dentist before because of the poor quality of work and treatment he received. Fantastic experience: Recently moved to Belle Chasse. Drove by Ivonne Castro dentist and noted it was there but didn't give it much thought. Last night one of my crowns came off and I had an early flight to the UK today. I arrived at the dentist at 0800 without an appointment, I explained my predicament and they got my tooth recemented with efficiency and excellent dental expertise with plenty of time for me to catch my flight. All the staff and the dentist were beyond friendly and helpful. I hope not to be back soon, but when whenever I need dental care, I'll be back.
