Fantastic experience: I really loved the vibe of the office. It was laid-back and comfortable without sacrificing professionalism. It felt like a very welcoming, well-run place.Dr Wong, Ann and Alisa were so gracious even after I ran late. Even though we were short on time, this was probably the best teeth cleaning I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: After being with Dr. Lipton for approx 20 years, I met Dr. Wong and his staff today. The service today was A+. Dr. Wong and his staff members took time to get to know me and my history. I appreciate the one on one and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Lipton for many many years, I actually drive 34 miles from the East Bay because the service is so good. I was there this morning at 8:00am and as usual good an excellent cleaning, and a thorough exam for Dr. Lipton. This has been the case with out exception for all those years. I was able to meet Dr. Wong this morning also, and I’m sure he will carry on making his own mark on the practice. Having known Dr. Lipton and his high standards, I’m sure he picked Dr. Wong as his predecessor so that his legacy can continue on and become a standout practice, as it has always been. Fantastic experience: Dr. Wong, his dental hygienists and his receptionist are the best in class. There team is one, lean, efficient Dental machine. They welcomed our family with open arms after we received a referral from a orthodontist. My 11 yr old experienced a deep cavity today. He visited another dentist who called that cavity a “watch” 6 months ago. I was beyond impressed with how Dr. Wong disclosed the news and said we have two courses of action and included me in the decision making process. It is difficult to find a trustworthy dentist who has great skills and shows he truly cares. I asked Dr. Wong “what would you do if this is your son”? Dr. Wong gave the same answer meaning he treats his patients like his own family. Dr. Wong’s hygienists, Anna & Monica are awesome and his receptionist, Alyssa is patient-friendly and customer service oriented. She understands family’s needs and works to accommodate schedules. We only wish we found Dr. Wong sooner! I know people are loyal to their dentist and now I’m a Dr. Wong LOYALIST!

I wasn’t sure where the pain was coming from because I didn’t have any toothaches. I decided to see a dentist because I had some work done on my teeth 3 or 4 months ago. I visited Dr Wong recently, had my exam and deep cleaning done which I like to do annually. I had the most effective and comfortable deep cleaning experience with Dr. Wong. Fantastic experience: I truly love Dr. Wong and his team! My husband and I happily travel all the way from Oakland to see him. Dr. Wong has always sincerely taken care of us and gives us his wholehearted attention and effort whenever we come to see him. He doesn't seem to overbook his patients, which makes for a much nicer atmosphere at his office and appointments. I also always appreciate the candid and considerate advice he offers in everything. If we have any questions, he has always been prompt to follow-up with us. Update: I also love his hygienist, Jared! He is always thorough but so considerate and gentle. Honestly, the entire team is so kind here. They feel like family! It's nice that there's a parking lot at this office, so you don't need to find parking on the street. As a bonus, his office is outfitted nice and cozily, which is a nice departure from the stark, alien waiting rooms of many other health professionals. I'm so glad we no longer have to go "shopping" for dentists now that we've found Dr. Wong. :) Thanks as always for taking care of us!

Fantastic experience: He is a very kind and calm doctor. I am very scared of going to dentists in general but each time I see Dt. Wong my heart rate goes back to normal He does not push you to do extra things either. Very friendly and kind doctor.

Fantastic experience: I arrived Dr Wong’s office 5 mins earlier. The hygienist, Jared, called me in 3 mins later. No extra waiting time. Jared explained what he was going to do on my visit. He is polite and friendly. He was gentle on my teeth cleaning. I am very pleased. Dr. Wong checked my teeth carefully and gave me an update that everything is good. When I was waiting to check out with the front desk lady who was taking care another patient, Dr Wong did not want me to wait, he took care my check out. Another thing I like about Dr Wong’s office is they asked me if I want to donate the goodie bag to the charity, the goodie includes tooth brush, toothpaste and etc.. I thought this is a very nice thing they do, for a good cause.

Compared to my previous doctor, I noticed that he does not recommend unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciate. Later, my husband and 8-year-old son also became his patients. During my son’s treatment, Dr. Wong provided clear and reassuring explanations, making him feel comfortable. He even completed a filling without the need for laughing gas. I trust Dr. Wong completely, and since becoming his patient, I have never felt the need for a second opinion. He is now our family dentist, and we couldn’t be happier with his care!

His exam of my teeth was gentle and yet thorough while he made certain to match up what he saw in the xrays with what he saw in the exam. Upon receiving the record and xrays of my previous root canal, Dr. Wong called with his analysis and advice. Alyssa at the front desk is courteous, friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Dr. Wong and every one of his staff members is friendly, professional, courteous and informative. I've experienced dentist practices where they try and push things on you that are not needed and charge you for things that you didn't get. Not here! Dr. Wong is very straight forward and has a patient centered approach: you co-create your treatment plan, and he guides you by outlining possible options. There is also parking underneath the building, which is convenient.

After the examination, he gave me his analysis and provided options on how to proceed. The front desk assistant Alyssa also went ahead and said she will reach out to my insurance company to see if and how much of the fee will be covered. I truly appreciate this team. I definitely continue seeing them for further dental work and I recommend them to anyone. Update: As of April 2024, I have been to Dr. Wong multiple times for root canals, bridge work, and teeth cleaning. Each appointment has been a splendid experience! It's like going to a spa for my mouth.

Fantastic experience: We switched to Dr. Wong when my previous dentist stopped taking my insurance and have been so happy with our care! I love the laid back vibe of his office and how friendly all the staff are. Dr. Wong is the perfect combination of professional and down to earth, and my visits are always thorough and easy. I have never had x-rays taken so quickly and seamlessly! And he’s never tried to sell me on unecessary procedures or Invisalign, which happened at almost every visit with my prior dentist. And I have pretty straight teeth! Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wong’s office. Plus he’s a Bay Area native which I always appreciate :)

Fantastic experience: I have a little bit of dental anxiety. My first treatment was yesterday and Dr.Wong is the first person to fill a cavity for me. Now during my exam he was so kind. My cleaning was so great I felt like the experience was really pleasant. But coming in for treatment is a whole different thing. Luckily having a dentist like Dr.Wong, makes everything better. I told him I was nervous. He was politely playful about it. He walked me through each step. He made sure I was breathing lol and in the end the filling procedure was smooth. He also fixed my chipped front teeth. And they are BEAUTIFUL. Beyond what I thought they could look like. Dr.Wong is hands down my very best dental experience. If your looking for a dentist I HIGHLY recommend Dr. WONG. and I will definitely be sending my friends and family over to him!

Our long time Dentist for over 40 years retired and over the last seven years, my husband and I used several Dentists but we just could not find a doctor that we were 100% happy with. My husband recently had issue with a tooth pain. He called Dr. Derek Wong's office and they were courteous enough to see him the following day. Dr. Wong's mannerism and service was outstanding. When I had pain with my teeth, my husband, of course, called Dr. Wong's office and they made an effort to fit me in on the same day. Other offices which I had called could not schedule me for 2 weeks to 2 months. I was grateful for Dr. Wong's kindness to be able to fit me into his busy schedule. Besides being courteous, he was respectful to my concerns. He gave me options and he discussed what he would recommend. This visit gave me things to think about for the future. I usually don't write reviews but the doctor's diligent care along with his kindness deserved an excellent review.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wong is a tremendous dentist with excellent skills and a kind heart, and so is his team! The first time I came to see Dr. Wong was for a deep cleaning session and to fix a few cavities, and I was terrified due to childhood trauma. However, Dr.Wong was kind, patient, and had a “gentle touch.” Not only did I feel no pain, I almost fell asleep during the procedure. Even though I live 400 miles away now, they are still my go-to! That's how amazing they are! And no, I'm not just saying that because Dr. Wong gave me a cupcake!
