Fantastic experience: Fiori Dental is Dr. Anthony & Jane Ferrera DDS. Quite a relief to have found the sanctuary of this family practice. These professionals are kind and thoughtful. Dr Ferrera has the best dental assistants - they are the heart of what they do - and the latest new technology to focus carefully on caring and quality treatment. They are not a dental mill or a cut-rate clinic but family dental professionals that you can trust to be you family dentist. The office is an open and trusting environment which is important as dental medical procedures in general can be intimidating to some people, but I find both doctors friendly and engaging. This is important to me as I find it difficult to trust many dentists with this relationship - one that I feel should be a rarely changing commitment. So very lucky to have been given this contact info by other professionals. Now my wife - who has avoided dentists for years - and my mother-in-law are going to them. Wonderful family you can trust.

Fantastic experience: Doc Ferrera is in a word “awesome”. A great dentist, very patient focused, a straight shooter, does excellent work and he’s a nice guy. I recently April 2022) lost my front tooth due to an injury from 60 years before. Doc Ferrera performed oral surgery to remove it on the gum line…provided me with two flippers to wear for cosmetic purposes, let everything heal for months and ultimately inserted the new implant last week; it looks great. It took a while but it was worth the wait. Doc Ferrera is very meticulous and careful, and he will freely refer a patient if the situation requires it. I, without any reservation highly recommend Doc Ferrera for your dental needs.

Patiently explaining me ahead of taking imprint which helped me to relax specifically the time when they take out imprint. Billing department also clear to explain the billed amount before payment made and flexible in scheduling my next appointment. Highly recommend this place for teeth issue & general cleaning etc

Recently Dr. Jane worked with my worn-out front teeth straightening and filling. They came out beautiful. Drs Jane and Anthony have friendly, professional, and competent staff who would go beyond their duties. Victoria is my go to hygienist. Her perfectionist approach for my teeth stains keep me smiling. Marcel today looked after me to save money for the best care. In addition, they have a great dental membership program that I definitely needed after my retirement. Hooley to Fiori Dental team!

Negative experience: They misled me into booking an appointment with a doctor that is not in my network even after I told them that I have an insurance with Metlife. Not sure where they got this high rating from, but I definitely don’t recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: A great friendly Pleasant office. My usual dentist could not see me soon enough and Dr. Ferrera takes very Caring time for same-day appointments. Everyone’s kind and considerate. I was concerned about a potential 2 Abscesses and did not Want to wait a week for my upcoming appointment at my Established dentist. Dr. Ferrera team took me in the same day and gave me the assurance that this abscess infectionwas not Accelerated to the point of going to my brain. Being a dental technician, I get concerned about these Potential facts. A great team from the receptionist, to the Assistant, the dentist and a kind smile from everyone in between. I was very happy to be able to get this appointment even if they were not in network with my insurance. My Health is a priority.

Positive experience: Would like to say how efficient the front desk ladies are in answering the phone. Jennifer is in the billing dept making sure they get what they charge, as they didn’t take my insurance. So the visit to this office is quite expensive. Dr Jame, she is very caring, trying to help the patient, not all about making the money from the patient. It is suggested to find someone in my network if I need more than a cleaning. When I first went to this practice 2021, they took my insurance. The hygienist, Victoria very thorough. The assistant to Dr Jane was nice and friendly, sympathetic to my visit experience.

Daisy took my x-rays and was very gentle and nice and the hygienist Victoria who was also nice cleaned the plaque out my teeth so dang good i feel like i can spurt water through it a mile away(which is a good thing). And Doctor Anthony was great as he was very informative about my dental situation. They even gave me a gift as a new patient which is really awesome.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jane Vu Ferrera very thorough in checking your teeth. Unlike many dentists, she doesn't overtreat. She will only fill a cavity if you really have one. Her office is very up to date technologically. Victoria is a great hygienist who is both thorough and very careful not to hurt you.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to FIORI Dental for several years now and am always pleased with the quality of the dentists, the hygienists and the friendly front office staff. They seem to genuinely care about helping you. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Do not go if out of network! Very nice and welcoming people with good service and expertise, but they’re out of network for me (I have great benefits through my employer) so I checked ahead to make sure I wouldn’t incur some big out of pocket cost, which they said I wouldn’t. They did a bunch of work that wasn’t covered (x-rays too soon, special fluoride and extra imaging, etc) so I ended up getting charged $390 out of pocket ($630 total visit for just a cleaning). My teeth had no issues and are in great shape- so I didn’t need any of the extra stuff. I emailed to inquire about this and never got an answer other than “we’ll check into it”. This is pretty inappropriate since I even inquired ahead on any extra costs and they said it’d be covered. I won’t go back because of this.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist is gentle and clean. I had a deep cleaning there and it was a four hour visit. It went by very fast and with the help of the staff.

Fantastic experience: My crown popped off on a Sunday and I couldn't find anyone to see me, let alone answer or return a call. Adding to that, I had moved from SF and seeing my dentist there had become virtually impossible. I didn't have a dentist in San Mateo and as you can imagine, trying to find one that suits you is stressful. Dr. Jane Ferrera came highly recommended by a friend who's seen her for years. I was able to talk to her and she was able to squeeze me in the following morning. I loved how fast she was and the in-depth explanation of why it popped off and how she was going to repair it. Fantastic experience: Still absolutely love my dental team and consider myself so blessed to have them. Been coming here for quite a few years now have had all sorts of work done, crown replacements fillings and everything in between, never had an issue.
