Fantastic experience: The X-rays and cleaning were very quick and easy. The dentists were very helpful and willing to explain any questions I had. Amber - Hygienist was very careful while she cleaned my teeth.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Hamner Dental and couldn’t recommend them enough! We've been coming here for the last 3 years. Their staff (shoutout to Cece & Laura) are always so wonderful. We were initially sad to hear that Dr. Marcelo was no longer there because we absolutely loved her and trusted her with our kids’ dental care. However, I have to say that the dentists who are there now have been just as wonderful! We saw Dr. Oropeza for our 5 year old's annual check up and a filling. She was knowledgeable, gentle, thorough, and did such a great job making my kids feel comfortable and safe. It’s hard to find a pediatric dental office where you feel completely confident, but this is definitely one of those places. The staff, the dentists, and the overall experience have been consistently amazing. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful dental team for our kids!

Negative experience: I have been going here for years. I have an infected tooth. I have insurance. I was quoted $2100 to pull my 1 tooth. The dentist was a completely unprofessional, mean and rude. We will never be back. Zero stars.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental practice, and I highly recommend it! I always get my teeth cleaned by Amber and see Dr. Deepika for my exams. Dr. Deepika also did my two left lower implants in March 2025—the procedure was perfectly and smoothly done, and I didn't feel a thing. The assistants, Danny, Renee, and Yumi, are kind and friendly. Also, Windy and all the front desk staff are friendly as well. My two children also get their dental work done here, and we have been coming for over six years. I also completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Martin, whose assistants are both friendly and knowledgeable. I truly appreciate everyone at Hamner Dental Group and Orthodontics. Negative experience: The Kids Dentist and orthodontist side is fantastic. My Kids love it there and I love it there for My Kids but if you were an adult, beware. My husband went in for A cleaning and ended up needing a root canal He said yeah, go ahead. Do what is necessary he said while they were working on his mouth, they start fighting over instruments in his mouth of who is doing what then the finance lady comes in and starts discussing that his options with him while they’re working on his mouth. And ended up with a large amount due. Now for my Experience there I scheduled an appointment that I just need my yearly cleaning exam I get in there. They do the x-rays they look at my numbers around my teeth or gums whatever it is they tell me yeah you have a lot of plaque. You know a good cleaning they suggested the laser treatment for my gums. I said only if my insurance covers it it was also suggested that I should change out my crowns from the silver to the white caps,( Which are currently just fine. I have no pain. None of them are cracking. Nothing is wrong with them. ) so then Another person Comes in the room Showing me the breakdown of everything that they would like to do. It is $3000 out of my pocket.At this point, I’ve been here for two hours sitting in the chair. I say, I will keep my current crowns on my teeth. I don’t want the laser on my gum since the insurance doesn’t cover it I just want the basic cleaning. I was told that they don’t do basic cleaning that it would be the laser treatment on the gums and it would be $400 I said well I can’t do that Can I just get a basic cleaning and I’ll reschedule for the laser? I was told no I couldn’t do that either. I was more than welcome to look elsewhere for a service. so I got up and walked out. I was there for 2 1/2 hours and had nothing done

Dr. Dhama took extra time to speak to me not only about my dental health, but also how it might affect my overall health.This is the first time I have had an experience like this and I look forward to discussing all of it with my PCP.

Negative experience: I have been coming here for about 8-9 years, but today was the last visit. I am so over this dental office. My appointment was at 1:30pm. I waited about 10-15 minutes for X-rays, another 10-15 minutes for the doctor, and then another 10-15 minutes for the hygienist. After all that waiting, I left with nothing done besides X-rays. No cleaning, which is what I came in for and what my insurance covers. Both the doctor and hygienist came in, checked my teeth, and instead of doing the cleaning, they started going over additional treatments I "should" get done. This has been a constant pattern here, even when I bring my kids. This dental office is more focus on upselling than actually doing the basic service! This isn't just a one-time issue. Over the years, there's been a constant turnover, different doctor, different hygienist, different front desk at every visit. There's no consistency, and it shows. I have let things slide before, but they've wasted my time too many times now. There's also no effort to work with you, no options, no trying to meet you where you're at. It's it's either everything they recommend or nothing at all. At this point, I don't recommend this dentist office. If you value your time and just want to get what you came in for, I would go somewhere else.

Negative experience: I wish I could give zero stars, but in order to inform the public I must at least give it one. If I could, I'd give negative 5. Buckle up, guys, because this one is going to make sure you take your business elsewhere. This was my first time going to the dentist without my mom, as I had just turned 18 and was moving to the adult side of the office. I will be honest, I loved my pediatric dentist, who I had since I was 4. Her name was Dr. Christine Marcello Aquino, and her hygienist, potentially named Amber, was a beautiful blonde with a great sense of humor. Anyways, picture this: I take time off college to come back from UCLA to go to the dentist just for a small filling. First, like many have already noted, I was on time but was not seen until an hour and a half after my appointment time. I asked the attendant why I hadn't been called yet while other people were going ahead of me, and they asked my name... they did not even know I was there. I finally get called and placed in a room. A physician, who is no longer there (quick turnover), numbed my mouth to prep me for the filling, then left me alone in the room, reclined, for another 60 minutes. I finally called my mom, as I was now anxious, confused, and distressed because I felt like my throat was closing. I felt like I couldn't swallow or breathe. The numbing medication trickled down my throat. This triggered a panic attack, and paramedics were called to treat me. My mom left work and tried to tell the receptionist that she did not authorize me to be taken in the ambulance, as insurance does not cover that. The doctors insisted I be treated, only making the panic attack worse. This was the worst experience I have ever had since I started going to the dentist at age 3. I remember leaving the office teary-eyed, out of breath, confused, and begging for Christine to do my filling instead. I came across her in the hallway, and for the first time at this appointment I experienced compassion. The office then told me I would not be seen to complete the filling that I came all the way from college to get done. I had to go back the next day for finals, but they refused to provide the service they initially said was needed. My mom called the front office and had to demand they see me later in the day before I returned to college. Ever since I aged out of the pediatrics side, it has been nothing but trouble. I hope Christine can open her own practice someday because I will be her first and most loyal customer.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dentist since I was 4 & now I am an adult, but I am now deciding to switch due to their horrible service & care. I would advise NO ONE to attend this dentist office. I came in for an appointment on September 9th, 2025. The doctor and hygienist informed me I had a cavity. However, when I asked what needed to be done to fix it, they said they could not do a filling because it was “too small” and that they were just going to watch it. I asked if it was too small to fill, could I do anything to make it smaller or if they thought it would shrink, and they said no. I came in today for my 6-month checkup to find out that I now need an onlay on the teeth they had previously observed as too small for a filling. The onlay is not covered by insurance, and I would have to pay almost $2,000 out of pocket. When they pulled up my file, it says that at my last visit I was diagnosed to get a filling done — despite being told otherwise. Meaning, because these dentists did not do what they were supposed to, I now have to undergo a more expensive and invasive procedure. As I was visibly upset and extremely frustrated, they brought in the manager, Jessica, to talk to me. She told me there was nothing that could be done and that they could tell insurance a narrative as to why I need this procedure & the office could give me a discount on the treatment options. I asked her if her office would pay for my entire treatment. However, she refused to admit that this procedure is necessary because her office failed to provide proper treatment. She kept dancing around my questions and talking to me condescendingly. She kept telling me to calm down, saying she couldn’t talk to me because I was crying. She even tried to gaslight me, claiming it’s because “all our bodies are different” that this level of tooth decay has happened — DESPITE THE FACT THAT THIS LEVEL OF DECAY WOULD NOT EXIST IF HER OFFICE DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO IN SEPT. 2025! I have never had have a cavity in my entire life. My files say I have great oral hygiene. This has only become a problem now that I have switched from my pediatric dentist, Dr. Marcelo Aquino, and started working with these new dentists. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT A PEDIATRIC PATIENT. The service is depolorable. The office manager, Jessica's quote online says she “makes sure her patients get the care they need and deserve.” Absolute nonsense. She does not care. She is a terrible manager with horrible customer service who just wants to milk your insurance. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEETH. I see that the business repiled, however I would not see too it that I would talk to them or their incompetent manager. She is impossible to talk to and would dance around my questions, and I am sure she will not talk to me because in our conversation she kept saying "I am going to have to terminate this conversation" because of how visibly upset she made me.

Fantastic experience: Wendy is always so helpful. She goes out of the way to make our dental visit smooth and quick. Dr. Dhama has been our dentist for many years and she's the only one I trust with my kids. She always takes the time to provide options for treatments. Highly recommend this dental group.

Negative experience: This is truly the most costly dentist I have ever been to and will take your money any way they can. They make you spend extra money on things that were not needed (recommended a re-fill on a cavity that is perfectly fine), offer you the most expensive option (apparently they offer lab-made crowns which are much cheaper but won't tell you), and do their job poorly (my deep cleaning was not done properly and had to get it done again 3 months later). After getting a second opinion on a tooth, I went from needing root canal and a crown for over $2,500 dollars (suggested by this horrible place), to getting a root canal, filling, and bleaching done on the tooth instead, because it was still a good tooth (based on input from 2 additional dentists/endodontists), for less than $800. WOW! I did see Dr. Dhama and she was nice. I like that she took the time to explain things, but I began to question her recommendations, which caused me to explore other options. I am thankful for the work she previously did, BUT I cannot afford to keep trusting her opinion as everything she recommended was costly. I did bring my child here, and the pediatric dentist was amazing. The orthodontist is also amazing (he actually suggested the bleaching option to me because his wife had experienced a similar issue with a tooth), BUT I do Not plan to invest any more time and money into this place, so I am going elsewhere for pediatric care and Invisalign. I decided not to engage with this place anymore as they will not refund me for their poor work. No need to waste my breath either.

Negative experience: This is my true and very honest experience with this place. Im giving this place a 2 stars only because our experience with Dr. Dhama, Dr. Marcello, Dr. Martin and the hygienists have been good. Good Luck to anyone dealing with the office manager Jessica (who is conveniently never available when needed) or any of the staff in the front office. Also be careful because they dont disclose all information needed when billing continuously miscommunicate information. Also, you might want to double check how they bill your insurance company for each visit. A year ago my son saw son the orthodontist, general dentist hygienists and of course the assistants. The next day I noticed what looked like a pimple next to his lip but in fact he was poked by an instrument that someone used and eventually developed a staff infection which I had to take him to the emergency where he had to be treated with an IV and to drain the fluid. When I called to let them know nobody showed any concern and of course Jessica the office manager wasnt there. I left a message and waited to hear back. A year later and I still havent heard back. I have been back many times since and conveniently Jessica is not available. When I told the Dr. she brushed it off like it was no big deal. Today my son was scheduled to have his wisdom teeth removed. We had put it off for a year and they charged me to have all 4 teeth removed but when the Dr came in, he said he was only to remove 2 and we would have to come back another time to get the other two removed. I was not ok with my son being put under teice and not to mention it would cost double because the insurance covers the removal they just dont cover the anesthesia which I would have to pay for again. Jasmine once again in the front had her little snarky attitude and I ended up walking out of without getting any of the work done after being there for two hours . So now I am having to call my Insurance to make sure they aren’t fraudulently being billed for the work that was not done and I have to work on getting my refund of almost $800. Ive had enough. Never going back there again.i have been keeping a log of every incident for the past few years and I think its finally time to take action on their mistreatment of their patients. If you just sit in the waiting room for an hour you will hear multiple people have concerns, its not just me. I had referred friends to this place and they loved it years ago and they too now have issues every visit.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here since i was little and i have always had a great experience. I moved out of town and had to come back to get some work done and they took me in timely was helping moving my appointment and when they informed me i needed two root canals and 3 crowns they got me all set up called another dentist they sent me over right away for root canals and had me back the next morning to finish it up it was amazing how they got me in and out of there and found avenues to get the work i needed done before i left town. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Dr Martin for orthodontics for several years including braces, expanders, and retainers. The results have been phenomenal and the time and care spent with myself and my kids to understand the process has been exceptional. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and helpful. Izzy, Grace, Ernesto, and Jen do wonderful work and are fun to visit with. Dr Martin is easy to approach with questions, gives excellent advice with thorough explanations, and is just generally a joy to interact with. Plus it’s a fun environment for kids and teens. Very happy with the results and highly recommend!

Negative experience: First and foremost the receptionist was rude and not welcoming. As I walked towards the front counter I proceeded to explain to the receptionist (Jasmin or Yessica) that I had checked in online. The receptionist then stalled for a few minutes (it seemed as if I was bothering her) and informed me that my daughter’s appointment had been canceled. Of course, I questioned when and by whom. The receptionist responded that I was left a voicemail at 9:02 am of which I have no call history and I even showed her my phone. No voicemail or recent missed call from the dental office. Shortly after she retracted her statement and said that they were unable to leave me a message. So which one is it? Did your office even attempt to notify of today’s cancellation? I understand stuff happens and doctors are human beings that also get sick but if your not able to locate a patient via voicemail as you claim to have done, why not use other avenues? On other occasions the dental office sends out an email or text message. I sincerely believe the dental office dropped the ball with my daughters appointment. Furthermore, upon my return back home I called the dental office to get the name of the individual who had assisted me at the office. The individual on the other end questioned why I needed the name, as soon as I explained that I would be filing a complaint the individuals tone of voice quickly changed. To my surprise the individual that assisted me in the office was the same individual that answered the call. Apparently all of a sudden this individual was customer driven. I requested that the Manager call me back as I needed to explain what had transpired during my visit. I’m deeply disappointed in today’s interaction as I have been a tenured patient at this dental office. I would also like to point out that Dr. Christine Marcelo Aquino is an amazing Pediatric Dentist but after today’s encounter, I will be looking for a new Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist for my daughter.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I have ever been to. Starting strong with Dr. Dhama she is absolutely amazing and so fast. The staff here is just as awesome and skilled Jen took my X-rays Amber the hygienist did my deep cleaning and treatments Danny assisted in the root canals and did my crowns and last but definitely not least Stephanie finished with placing my temp crown and fitting me for my partial. It’s definitely all team work here and it’s a great team. Thank you ladies and Danny for the great work today, I appreciate each one of you.

Negative experience: The staff is great they were very nice and helpful. The doctor who attended me and gave me THE worst examination of my life. I went there for a broken filling , my tooth was in a lot of pain and I was very sacred it was going to start to get infected. Again the staff was great. But when the doctor gave me my diagnostics she explained everything they wanted to do to me the smile and grin off the doctors face when she gave me the bill , the drool came out her face it made me sick. When I proceeded to explain that's cool and all but what if we simply remove the tooth the doctor threw her hands up in the air and simply walked away all pissed off. The attending financial lady who was their runing my insurance was also shocked and she looked embarrassed on what had happened. Dude honestly never in my life that has ever happened. .-. I am leaving this review only because they called me to see if I was coming back for a appointment after such a terrible service. Nothing against the staff but to the doctor that treated me I hope you just had a bad day and don't actually treat people that way you did to me after I choose what to do with my treatment. If you can go somewhere else at least the doctor I saw only cared about the big fat bill she was gona make off my pain and suffering. I still to this day rember how she walked away in disgust after I gave my own opinion like I was only a bill rather then a human being in pain. Again the staff is great but the doctor I got really sucked. Enjoy the rest of your day if you guys made it this far and apparently from the reviews im not the only one seeing they see their clients as nothing more then paychecks.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I was having repeat sensitivity and it had been a while since I had gone to the dentist and everyone here was very welcoming! The dr Z greeted me before the assistant Danny took my X-rays and they were very kind and patient and friendly! Fixed me right up same day and I’m feeling better than ever! :)

Negative experience: Save your time, your energy and most of all your money!! They want to upcharge for everything offering unnecessary services to charge you and the insurance two or three times more than other places. They want to charge thousands of dollars. Went for second opinion at two different dentists and they confirmed how ridiculous this corporation wants to upcharge on things that could easily be done with just regular fillings!! If I could give them a 0 on the reviews I would!! The only dentist worth visiting at this location is Dr. Christine in pediatrics, she is the only honest, caring dentist at this location, but once you change from pediatrics to the regular adult dentist it’s horrible!!! Crazy expensive

Negative experience: Medical fraud. I never got a deep cleaning from this office but they claimed insurance company that I got a deep cleaning. Cleaning that I got doesn’t last more than 10mins every time I go. How could a deep cleaning is done in 10mins. Manager doesn’t want to fix the error. Stay away from overcharging/fraud office. You have to double check what they claimed to insurance company all the time. They will clam that you did all the fancy services instead of what you actually got. Be careful with HMO insurance.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the receptionist who scheduled my appointment. She was rude, careless, and completely uninformed about the company and its other locations. She couldn’t answer even the most basic questions and seemed to lack any knowledge or professionalism. I strongly recommend hiring someone with at least the skills necessary to provide competent customer service.

Negative experience: The kids dentist area is fantastic, no complaints! But PATIENTS BEWARE! The adults area keep trying to hustle us to pay for extra lazer cleaning that cost so much. I got stuck with a $1,000 bill the first time when I believed them that I needed it, then they offered to do it again and I said no, and now they denied my husband a basic cleaning because when they offered the lazer cleaning, he said no and they said they couldn't do the basic cleaning anymore, he had an awful experience as they tried to pressure him as they treated him like dirt when he said no. We have never experienced horrible customer service like this!

Negative experience: When they offered me a Saturday morning appointment, they didn’t inform me that there wouldn’t be a hygienist available to do my cleaning… which was the care I actually needed, NOT the hosing down of my insurance for the unnecessary X-rays and exams, for my otherwise perfectly healthy teeth. They’ve annoyed me and wasted my time for the last time, FIRED. Going to have my insurance set me up with a different dental office in town. When they were able to give me a cleaning in the past, hygienist always rushed through it, and would always clank the tools against my teeth, despite asking her to please try not to. I’M DONE. BYE.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express how grateful I am for this place. Amazing staff members! Everyone was so friendly and kind. I felt so welcomed. Big shout out to Yami, Jen, and Dr Ding. They got all the picture and X-rays and gave great suggestions and where to moved forward with. I still have my wisdom teeth and been trying to find a place that will extracts them. They also really helped me out payments plan especially having no insurance. Thank you so much for giving me hope that I can still get them out and knowing that I can still fix my teeth.

Negative experience: Very unethical business practices. My daughter went in and asked for a routine cleaning that is covered by our insurance. They had her sign the authorization and then told her they were giving her an upgraded cleaning that was $205.00. They did this to me a couple of years ago , not divulging the upcharge until after the procedure and telling me I owed $186.00 above what my insurance covered. We will be looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: I should have read all the reviews before coming here!! I just wanted to get a basic cleaning done! I took an x-ray then other assistant just poked around my teeth and said that my gum bleeds a lot. She said i need a deep cleaning and something (i don't remember) that cost me a lot! Then another person talked to me how much it all cost out of pocket! $1,113! Wasted my time 1 1/2 hours time!. I should have not paid for $45 co-pay! I extremely disappointed with the experience! Not coming back here ever again!

Negative experience: If I could give this place a zero I would. To start, I have seen Hamner Dental on a several occasions. The same circumstances happened in each occasion which is why this last visit was the straw that broke the camels back. Hamner Dental is a complete scam recommending treatments such as "lasers" and deep cleanings under the guise that my insurance will not pay unless its done. BS! The check in process was fine and the assistant taking my x-ray images did a great job. Like expected (considering I floss 2x per day and brush using a sonic toothbrush 2x per day) the dentist said I have zero cavities and my teeth look great! She told me keep up the good work! Awesome! Until, as she was leaving, she looks at her chart and says, "Oh I dont see you scheduled with the hygenist, let me check if its time". Ok fine. A few minutes later a girl (who is apparently the hygenist) comes to the door, doesn't identify herself, and says come to the next room where I will do your cleaning. Thinking im getting my cleaning, she proceeds to poke around my teeth for no more than 30 seconds, and claim, in a very somber voice, I have sever bacteria and bone loss below my gum line and I REQUIRE the use of a specialized laser to clean it all up. I said wait a minute, the dentist who reviewed the X-rays said my teeth look great? what changed? Now you're telling me I need to pay for this treatment because you poked at my gums? She says oh your insurance will cover a portion of it and you only have to pay the deductible. True but thats still hundreds of dollars. She said well we could skip the laser but you still need a "deep cleaning" which also costs hundreds of dollars despite insurance. I politely declined and said I would like the cleaning that comes with my insurance coverage. She said that wouldn't be possible because now that she has diagnosed my "condition" insurance won't cover the cleaning unless I proceed with the recommended treatment. So I asked, ok you're telling me that unless I pay the additional treatment costs you wont clean my teeth...."Correct" she says. This happened in my previous visits and reluctanctly I paid for the deep cleaning which cost around $200. So either they are terrible at their jobs and their deep cleanings are bogus, or they are scamming people to make more money by recommending bogus treatments, or I have terrbile teeth which, judging by the x-rays, never had a cavity, and past cleanings, I don't. You decide. Buyer Beware!

Negative experience: This place is all about selling you the extra. And when it comes to the regular visits. They make you come back with an excuse they have nobody available at the time. And make you take another day off work to get what you wanted.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very welcoming from front office staff to the back office staff! The Doctor explained everything clearly and made sure I understood.

Positive experience: Wonderful Dental office, besides the receptionist, Stephanie. I’ve had a few phone interactions with her now that were awkward and unprofessional. She has terrible customer service skills and she gets sarcastic with the customer. Such a bummer to be met with such an immature attitude when I’m calling your office back from a voicemail you left me of a mistake you guys made with the scheduling the day before my kid’s appointments. I don’t mind mistakes. It happens. No one is perfect. But train Stephanie again on phone etiquette getting rid of all attitude. It’s very unprofessional and she wasted my time as I’m trying to care for my children’s dental health. I eventually asked to speak with someone else in the office and another lady there immediately helped me figure out the answer to my questions without annoyance in her voice or any issues whatsoever. It was very easy for her.

Fantastic experience: This Dental office is a WOW. Dr. Yang, their Endodontist who was my main provider yesterday is one of the best Endodontist and her assistant, Cheyenne, is a very sweet and expert lady in her job. All office staffs are super caring and kind, and I highly recommend this dental office for taking care of you and your family's teeth.

Fantastic experience: The staff here (I have interacted with Amber, Danny, and Jessica a few times) is amazing and super sweet they make you feel at ease. Also Dr. Dhaka Deepika is friendly and super quick! As much I don’t like coming to the dentist they all make it welcoming and less frightening

I expressed I was on a certain timeline and the staff didn't disappoint. I did a deep cleaning with Joy and she was very kind and had a gentle touch while doing the cleaning. I then had the opportunity to meet Dr. Zokaeian and she did 2 fillings for me. She was very detailed in going over the process and all around was super friendly! Great experience. Fantastic experience: Amazing dental office! The entire staff from the front desk to X-rays to the dental exams and cleanings were really nice. Shoutout to Amber for my cleaning, it’s definitely been way too long and my teeth feel like new! The pediatric dentist was awesome and love how they have TVs on the ceilings to keep the kids entertained (or distracted). My son didn’t know what to expect and was having issues but they explained everything clearly so he knew what was going on with his teeth. Definitely recommend if you need any dental work done!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about this entire office. From the first phone conversation to coming in and having braces for both my son and I, have been treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The staff is warm and friendly and helpful. Dr. Martin is fantastic. He is down to earth and communicates so great. Many times I have come in to have my bands placed when I’m too harsh on them and they always fit me in with no resistance. I never have to wait long and they are on top of the billing as well. Great job team!!!

Fantastic experience: What an incredible dentist!! Absolutely wonderful! I had an emergency tooth repair needed. As all emergencies happen on weekends, I called and they got me in right away on Monday with no appointment. The online documents to fill out prior to arrival were easy and fast. Shockingly, I didn’t have to fill them out again when I arrived (as you always do at Dr’s offices). Once I was seen It was fast, very friendly and everyone there was completely professional. Dr Luong came in quickly went to work and handled it. The dental nurses Yammie and Carine (Coco ?) were wonderful and made genuine conversation with you. Unlike most places where they just talk and don’t really want you to respond as their fingers are down your throat. These ladies took an interest in you, your comfort and dental health. Just genuinely nice people. The insurance process was great. Gave them my info, Wendy looked it up and handled it. What I really liked was Wendy explained in detail what was needed, could be done and what is possible. There was no “upselling” and no pressure to “have you thought about teeth whitening..?” I went to a dentist before in Corona - (the name starts with “West” and ends in “ern”) and I tell you that place was a hack shop. I knew it as soon as that lady there said… “ooohhh you got Goood insurance!” But this place, Hamner Dental, really did a great job and I didn’t feel like was getting fleeced. You see…I’m not a smart man and I don’t speak Doctor or Dentist. I definitely don’t speak medical/dentist billing coding. So when Wendy took the time to actually explain things and the insurance process it really says something about how professional they are. The lobby was clean. The rooms were nice. Equipment looked fabulously maintained. I expected to hear screaming and crying children everywhere since they do children dentistry too. Nope. Not a single kid crying. They have TV’s and I think games in the lobby for them. Very nice touch. All in all I loved this dentist office. And honestly no one actually likes going to the dentist. But if I have to go…I’m coming here. I’ll be switching them to my primary dentist because of this experience. Thumbs up!

Negative experience: I’ve been to this location when I was a teen in high school for braces. I was pleased with my services and now 5 years later I’ve tried calling over 3 times to make an appointment to get composite bonding done and have been placed on hold for over 10 mins ever single time . Quite upsetting, seems like they don’t want my business. Will not be returning to this location and will not recommend to others

Fantastic experience: Dr Dhama and Amber Orellana, RDH are great. They are caring, thorough, and friendly. The front staff is friendly and helpful. All of my experiences with them over the past couple of years have been very good, so I intend to continue my dental care with them as long as I live in this area.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth pulled and Hamner Dental took good care of me. They were always attentive and made sure I had no pain. They also called to check on me after the procedure. The staff is very nice here. I was informed about all of my options and they suggested the best treatment for what I wanted.They have a screen that plays videos and music. I found it helpful and calming.

Negative experience: The staff at this dental office was great. But the outsourced surgeons and their staff was extremely rude to my daughter.

Positive experience: I recently had a dental appointment and the dental assistant was very welcoming and held a great conversation. I even appreciated that he played music of my choice while I waited. Wendy did a great job providing me potential pricing for a procedure the dentist suggested and it’s always great seeing her. Joy is amazing, it’s a pleasure to see her and she is definitely one of the main reasons I remain with Hamner Dental. Unfortunately my time with Dr. Dhama was not pleasant. This has been the second time she’s suggested a procedure and rather than having good welcoming conversation skills she’s been condescending. I did not care for my experience with her and would not recommend her to any other clients. I’m grateful that my experience with her didn’t make my overall experience bad.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Anthony might be the absolute best dentist I've ever been too. He and his team that took care of me (Yami and Danny) are some of the most compassionate people with the kindest hearts ever. I went in for the first time because one of my fillings from when I was young broke and cracked my tooth and they didn't shame me or make me feel embarrassed for being scared. They played Disney music to help calm me down during my procedure and didn't force me any unnecessary pain when I started to feel any. I struggle at dentist offices because the numbing agents used for procedures don't generally last very long or work really. I expressed this to Dr. Anthony and he was very mindful of my warnings and did his absolute best to accommodate my condition. Everyone was very kind and they even managed to squeeze my husband in that day for a checkup/cleaning while I had my tooth fixed. I feel really secure in recommending this team to anyone who has anxiety about going to the dentist. They're all so wonderful and even though I'm still sore from the procedure (happened same day as this review lol) I'm already excited to smile.

Fantastic experience: I was reluctant to get much-needed implants but Dr. Dahma provided assurance and an affordable and thoroughly professional experience. To this point, I had several bad experiences prior to Hamner Dental where the blatant avarice of the dentists and staff was obvious and up-selling was their primary goal. None of that at Hamner Dental! Dr. Dahma’s professionalism and caring manner is reflected in her staff: Danny, Coco and Yami are a delight. The dear and gracious Yami gets special mention. Her kindness is amazing.
