I went in for a consultation because my dentist thought I needed a root canal and this office has not only an x-ray machine, but they have a full machine the x-rays around the entire mouth, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I did need the Root canal and when I was talking about when to come back,Dr. David found out that I lived a little further away, he said so you don’t have to make a second trip. I can do your root canal today if you would like which I really appreciated. I traveled quite a distance to get to him because my dentist afford this endodontist over others and I’m happy that I did. Dr. David was kind, empathetic, and very good at what he does. I highly recommend Dr. David and his staff if you need an endodontist.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing team and Dr. Abdelmalak is world class. I came to them to seek a second opinion for what another endodontist called vertical root fractures and urged me to pull two teeth. After consulting with Dr. Abdelmalak, it is very clear his background in education and how he treats others. He makes it very clear that patients have bodily autonomy and the importance of informed decisionmaking and his approach to conservative treatment. He will go through every aspect to save your tooth, and explain potential risks and what he may find once he is in there. He ultimately found NO FRACTURE, found an infection causing the pain and treated it with a root canal and antibiotics, while also addressing the upstream cause of the infection (my bite and teeth grinding) by correcting the shape of my filling and thereby correcting my bite. He saved me from being maimed so that another endodontist could bill for a high charged procedure. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Abdelmalak.

Fantastic experience: When I had a cracked tooth and high levels of anxiety as a result, I called around a few places, and Dr. David & Glendale Endodontics were the first to reach out for an appointment within a few days. They were very kind, knowledgable, and treated me very well. While I am waiting on the permanent crown now and still healing, I would recommend Dr. David to anyone know needs a root canal in the area.

Fantastic experience: Dr. David is an honest and caring endodontist. He is a very down to earth and humble Harvard graduate. His methods are advanced and he’s very meticulous which is a very good thing. I had a root canal done by him and crown by another general dentist. Unfortunately, it didn’t last me 6 months due to complications. It had cracked and got infected which led me to get it extracted. He refunded me about half of what I had paid for. No other dentist has been that ethical or responsible before. He is not money driven. He is genuinely patient driven and solution oriented. Come here if you want a smart, caring and honest medical professional who honors his Hippocratic oath. I give him a 10/10.

One of my main concerns was any sensation of pain in the middle of treatment, but he applied more and more anesthesia to make sure treatment was comfortable. Other than that, the office was clean, staff were friendly, and the appointment went without a hitch. 10/10 would develop additional cavernous cavity for another root canal treatment

Fantastic experience: I had a micro crack in one tooth and before I could schedule an appointment for a root canal, I fractured another tooth. I called Dr David’s office and they got me in immediately. His staff was so kind and genuine. Dr David explained the results of the x-rays, the treatment plan and the next steps post procedure. I feared I would loose the fractured tooth but he was able to save it. He answered all my questions and sent my thorough reports to my dentist who was able to fit a crown. It’s fair to say I hope to never need his services again but if I do, I would not hesitate to go back to him for treatment

Negative experience: Unprofessional. Billing Department sucks. My second payment plan bill was due March 4th, 2025. It was not charged until today March 10th, 2025. I called Receptionist and explained the issue. I called on March 4th to verbally confirm if I had to call to confirm/process my payment. I was told via phone that I did not need to call to confirm payment process. I was told that my card would be charged later on that same day. It was not.

Fantastic experience: Dr. David and Dr. Gu both have very gentle hands. I didn’t hardly feel anything with the two root canals I had two days apart. The office staff is lovely and call to check up on you the following day. Not that I ever want to have another root canals but now I know two excellent endodontist that can take care of it if I ever need one.

The staff were also fantastic and made the entire process seamless. If you're looking for a Root Canal Specialist who combines expertise with genuine care, I highly recommend Dr. Gu! My only complaint would be that the medical staff assumed I was not able to do certain things and didn’t ask until I corrected them. In all, I would still return here if needed.

Negative experience: I wish I could give this place 0 stars, absolutely the worst service ever! Extremely unprofessional, I had an absolute emergency, my dentist gave me a appointment to this place for an emergency root canal, my appointment was scheduled for Monday, they had 4 days!!! To run my insurance, but they obviously don't prioritize their patients needs because I was 5 minutes away when I called to ask them a question and the receptionist says oh yes you're insurance doesn't cover you!! So they had 4 days to do this and they tell me once I'm there!! Ridiculous! This was an absolute emergency I even had to go 2x to the ER on Saturday due to the pain. I wouldn't recommend this place at all because clearly they don't do their job properly and they don't care about the patients needs. They wanted me to pay out of pocket, they're just trying to make money, they don't care about their patients needs, just the money. I bet all those 5 star reviews are fake, or paid for because there's no way this place deserves that. Even over the phone they were absolutely rude to me and made it seem like it wasn't their fault for not doing their job on time. Find yourself a better place and avoid dealing with irresponsible staff that waits last minute to inform people that your insurance doesn't cover it, they had so much time to figure it out and contact me on time so I wouldn't waste my time but they don't care about the patient.
