Fantastic experience: This is an outstanding office and I am so glad that we were referred to Dr. Candelora years ago. The doctor is kind, a clear communicator, and he listens. Plus, his work as a dentist is excellent. I absolutely know that he takes my dental health very seriously and sincerely wants the very best for me. The staff is tremendous -- I've had everyone do a cleaning on me and have always been happy with the experience. Personally, with both the doctor and his hygienist staff, I have never experienced pain. And I've had a lot of work done in this office. Also, the front desk staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. He really has assembled a tremendous team. One of the most important things to me is the absolute cleanliness of the office environment. I feel very safe there. We are getting ready to do some major cosmetic work and I am going in to it with total confidence that everyone will be working at the top of their game to make sure I am happy with the result. With all of this, I am speaking from a place of broad, and unfortunate, point of reference. Years ago, we had an excellent Beverly Hills dentist that we were with for quite some time. However, he moved out of the country and sold his practice to a doctor that also had offices in the Valley. He botched a root canal and I spent thousands of dollars getting it fixed by a specialist. I was in horrific dental pain the entire summer, I didn't get the sense that I was heard or respected, his Valley office was weirdly run and dingy, and in that office he had Fox News on every monitor. So I know what a bad office is and, with my initial doctor and with Dr. Candelora, I know what a quality experience is. You can feel confident that going to Dr. Candelora will be a quality experience.

Fantastic experience: The whole office and Dentists are great, but my dentist Dr. Kim, is wonderful!! Very meticulous, and dedicated to his profession. Excellent temperament, which helps you relax even more! I drive 2 hours from Bakersfield, CA to go to him! Well worth it!!

His skill is world-class, but his character is what truly sets him apart. ​He also treated my father, who had dementia and very difficult dental needs. Ryan was incredibly patient, seeing him many times to get everything perfect. When my father’s nursing home unfortunately lost his new dentures, Ryan didn't hesitate. He went through the entire painstaking process again with such grace and class. ​Whether he’s on TV or helping a patient in need, Ryan is a master of his craft and a truly good man. All of these services were so professional and reasonably priced. Dr. Charles Kim and his assistant performed the root canal quickly and efficiently. I have been a patient of hers for about 18 years and she is, was, and always shall be the most thorough, gentle, considerate, and honorable human being that I have ever had the pleasure to know. Always on time for my scheduled appointment, Erika has always been available when I need a prophy (usually semi annually) and sees to it that my dental cleaning needs are met. Fantastic experience: This was a return visit for a crown that was made a little over a year ago, but recently came out while eating a few almonds on Friday. Dr. Candelora was quite the gentleman, knowing that I have been disabled for 40 years and on Social Security, he warrantied not only his work but also the x-rays. I very much appreciated 1) the next-day response to my email by his staff and expedited appointment for Tuesday, 2) his graciousness personally, and in waiving the fees, 3) his advice for cleaning and future work. Dr. Candelora and his assistant is very precise, caring, and conscientious. I appreciated that I was able to tolerate his work without numbing medications, and actually experienced very minimal pain, if any. Dr. Candelora provided careful, caring, complimentary, and precision artistic work with graciousness that ended in a complimentary repair. I did also get a general cleaning, and they squeezed me in the same day, which I appreciated, so I didn't have to make a return visit. Luca did this general cleaning and was very good and thorough, and I paid the usual fee for it. Nonetheless, I appreciated the complimentary crown work, especially since, a second filling had fallen out a year ago, and I just let that go (although Dr. Candelora offered to adjust a bigger crown by the price of the previously paid fillng). I actually came to this office because my longtime hygienist, who I’ve been seeing for almost 30 years, started working here after my previous dentist retired. I trust her completely, so I decided to follow her to this practice and I’m so glad I did! Dr. Ryan Candelora was very kind and took the time to speak with me without making me feel rushed, which I really appreciated. The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly and the office itself was very clean and comfortable. One detail that stood out to me was the pictures of Dr. Candelora’s kids on the wall…I thought that was such a nice personal touch. It made the office feel more human and sincere, like a place where family values and genuine care really matter. Following my hygienist here turned out to be a great decision!!

He's a little on the pricier side, but it's money well spent. The office is nice and clean, and all of the staff are friendly and very good at what they do. When it's time to pay and schedule your next appointment, Tiffany gets an A+ for being personable and helpful with payment options for what your insurance won't cover.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Candelora for general dentistry, and some specialty work, over 10 years. He and his staff are, by far, the best adult dentist/dental office I've ever worked with! He is always honest, upfront about any "work" needed, and never pushes unnecessary services. If I ask about or he recommends specialty work, including things like Invisalign or replacing a silver filling done when I was a kid, his office always provides an estimate and if it's something that will not be covered by my dental insurance his staff encourage I think about it or consider going outside their office is it can be covered by insurance elsewhere. For instance, I am considering a sleep apnea dental nightguard. It is similar to a typical nightguard but includes a separate top and bottom that connect, significantly reducing movement of the lower jaw when sleeping, essentially locking it in place. The device is quite expensive and they recommended I reach out to my medical insurance before committing to confirm if it will be covered through my out of network reimbursement policy (I am fortunate to have a PPO plan).

He saved me 10’s of thousands of dollars a less ethical dentist was telling me I needed to spend and my teeth look amazing!! The office is filled with friendly, professional, accommodating staff who all want you to be happy. Best dentist ever!

He has all the necessary traits that define excellence, such as sympathetic, gentle, and a good communicator who explains every step of the way. He is so personable that you will even look forward to your visits. He is a perfectionist so you always get the best result possible. So many dentists do work that is unnecessary but you will see that he is honest and tells you if the work you need can wait some time or if it should be done immediately. I had a horrible experience with other dentist and my fear of getting work done was a 10+ until I found Dr. Candlelora. He has done fillings and crowns and I had no issues at all He is my dentist forever now!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience. Dr. C is genuinely interested in getting your teeth as healthy as can be and making you feel comfortable in the process. The front desk staff is also kind and gracious with their time. The standout experience for me, though, was with Ingrid, a hygienist who took such great care of me when it turned out I needed a gum cleaning after not having gone to the dentist for a long while. There was no shame, just explaining what happened and what we can do to fix it. On top of that, typically they numb your mouth area for the gum cleaning and the numbness will last 4 hours. She heard I had a brunch to go to, and used a special kind of anesthesia that wore off faster so that I remained comfortable while being able to have an enjoyable conversation just an hour after my appointment! Ingrid is the best. Plus my teeth have never felt cleaner!

Fantastic experience: Dr Charles Kim is outstanding. He is kind, gentle and is the only person my dentist phobic adult daughter will see. He has been known to call after hours to check on a patient's condition. He has been our dentist for many years and I know him to be especially skilled at his work, and an all around great human being.

Fantastic experience: After many years of yearning for straight teeth, my husband put himself into Dr. Candelora’s incredibly gifted hands. Yes, there was Invisalign, but even after that, he was left with some spacing issues. His teeth were just too small for his mouth. Dr. Candelora crafted a new smile for him that eliminated the spaces but looked completely natural. He made my beautiful husband even more beautiful. He keeps smiling, I keep staring at his smile; we’ve got a whole smiling cycle in place, and it’s all thanks to Dr. C.

Fantastic experience: Alineh, the new hygienist, is great! I have very sensitive teeth and she works quite quickly and efficiently and gently. I was done before I knew it today. I have been seeing Ryan Candelora for many years now. I have seen a lot of dentists, moving around in my younger years, and he is the best! I have a weird nerve thing and all my life it was extremely painful to get fillings. He immediately knew what the issue was (extra nerves or nerves is a different place, my mom has it too) and now I just go in early to get a special different numbing agent that is several shots over 45 min before he starts. It has never been painful in his office. I am no longer afraid of the dentist chair. Thank you Dr. Candelora! Update Jan2023: Hygienist Erika is also amazing on my sensitive teeth!

Fantastic experience: Most people hate the dentist BUT LET ME TELL YOU I adore this entire dental office + don't hate when I have to go to the dentist. The staff is friendly, the office is clean and the whole experience is the best I've ever had (I've been to a handful of different dentists in my life).
