Fantastic experience: Good Evening I believe going to the Dentist is no fun, but you should go and if your regular Dentist suggests you see a Periodontist, then this is the place to go. The Staff is wonderful and they make you feel very comfortable the moment you walk in the front door and Dr. Tsamtsouris knows her stuff, as does the rest of the staff. So, my suggestion is, if you have to go to a Periodontist, then Bedford Periodontal and Dental Implant Care LLC is the place to go.

She started on time, had me out in about an hour with no pain, swelling, or bruising (even after 2 days). She called me a few hours later to check on me and left me her cell number (when was the last time a medical professional did that?). Fantastic experience: This was my first experience at Bedford Periodontal and Implant. Two weeks ago I had a tooth pulled in preparation for an implant. I expected to have a fair amount of discomfort after the Novocain wore off, but no, I had to keep reminding myself not to chew there because I felt so little discomfort. I was also impressed that the first day after the extraction Dr. Tsamtsouris called me from her cellphone to see how I was doing. Another plus is that there is a parking lot right at the door and the office is clean and modern and the support staff is very pleasant. Fantastic experience: Im a reluctant dental patient and was very nervous about my gum graft procedure. Dr. Tsamtsouris was so nice, answered all my questions, and most importantly I felt no pain during the procedure or even afterwards.I couldn't believe the entire process was pain free. Even having the stitches out, was totally painless. From my limited knowledge of how this should look after it's done, I would say she did a fabulous job. I would go to her for any periodontal procedure without any hesitation. My entire experience was a pleasure. REALLY!

She squeezed me in when I needed a tooth extracted before going on vacation and relieved my anxiety about having problems with the tooth while away from home. The night of the procedure she personally called to check in on my condition.

Fantastic experience: It was my second gum graft but my first at this practice and it was 100% better than my first graft, both in how I felt after and the care taken to make sure it wasn’t a bad experience. Even when I had some unexpected bleeding, I was able to contact the doctor and get a response quickly (and was offered an appointment to be seen immediately). Overall, I’m happy to have used this periodontist!

Fantastic experience: They are the best. Super friendly, really care about the quality of their work and the comfort level of their patients. Can’t recommend them enough.

Negative experience: Not a great experience. Had an appointment for Wednesday. They called me that Monday morning, asking if I could switch to that Monday afternoon. Agreed to help them out and switch to that afternoon, after asking how long the appointment would take and being told that it would be 45 minutes. I had freed my Wednesday afternoon, but not my Monday afternoon, so wanted to make sure that I could fit this in on that Monday. When I got to my appointment on time, they had me waiting for 35 minutes past the scheduled appointment time before the doctor popped in to say she was still with another patient and would be with me shortly. Appointment ended up taking twice as long as I was told. While I understand that things happen and appointments get delayed, please don't have me switch my schedule around to accommodate yours, tell me that it will only take 45 minutes, and then have the appointment take twice as long. My regular dentist had sent over x-rays that were recently taken. This periodontist, Dr. Tsamtsouris, told me that the x-rays were incomplete and needed to take some more. Ok, no problem. I was there because my regular dentist suspected that I had gum pockets. After reviewing the old and new x-rays, Dr. Tsamtsouris said that I did not have gum pockets and that there was nothing that she, as a periodontist, could do for me. Ok. Understandable and no problem. However, after she said that she could not help me, she wanted to, and did in fact, take additional x-rays--for which she could charge my insurance company. WHY, if you can not help me, would you need to take anymore x-rays? I also told her about the serious pain I was having in my mouth and she made me feel like I was lying about the pain. I'm assuming she didn't realize that that was how she was coming across, but when someone says to you, "It's not that I don't believe you, but...." then they are essentially saying that they don't believe you. AND, the final kicker was what happened later that night. I have a single crown in my mouth. During the appointment, the doctor--on 3 separate occasions, took her tool and dug it in around my crown, between my tooth and the crown. Her purpose for doing this was to tell me that the crown wasn't put in very well. Granted, she was right. The crown was not put in very well, but don't make it any worse by repeatedly digging away at it with your tool. Later that night, surprise, surprise, that crown fell out and I had to get a new one. That crown, though admittedly probably not put in well, had been fine for the previous 12 months. Suffice it to say, I do not recommend this periodontist and will not be going back. Threw in an extra star because her assistant was pleasant.

It is hard for a retired person to afford: my husband my husband We do go there though because of Dr. Tsamtsouris’s superb skills. So I am certain implants or the like will be done properly. Dr. Tsamtsouris has a great bedside manner and is very patient and considerate, with a good personality as well. She also explains every step and what she will do. Fantastic experience: I just received a debridenr and bone regeneration treatment for peri implantitis in an effort to save the implant. Dr. Tsamtsouris took this path given my history of a problematic implant process that took 4 tries from a different, previous dentist I appreciated her approach for trying to save the tooth. The procedure took over an hour, and it started with her making sure I was comfortable and numb. The process was involved, from my perspective, but through it all,I was calm, comfortable, and confident as she masterfully treated me. I am hopeful the implant is saved. Equally, if not more important, is that I now have a periodontist and practice that I trust: for both listening to my history, catering to my personal comfort during treatment, and executing it so methodically that I am very hopeful for a positive outcome

Fantastic experience: I needed a periodontal surgery and I had it done by Dr. T. It was very scary because it was an operation to open my gums that I'd never had before, but the operation itself didn't hurt at all, the doctor and her assistant made me very comfortable and explained the whole process in an easy way to understand. Ten days after the gum surgery, I removed the stitches and now I have no pain. After gum surgery, I knew that my teeth could become sensitive, but I had no such symptoms. I think the surgery was perfect, I trust her and highly recommend her!
