Fantastic experience: My dental tech (Cheyenne) was very thorough and efficient. A very nice young woman, even if she doesn't know who Sir Laurence Olivier was. On July 26 Dr. Yazgi was able to see me on very short notice and was a great help. Thanks! My August 11 visit was uneventful. Everyone was very kind and efficient. My July 13 visit was uneventful. Cheyenne and Dr. Yazgi are very efficient and friendly Dr. Yazgi was her usual friendly and efficient self on my Nov 2 visit. I was also seen by Tanya the dental hygienist and I was very impressed. She's really amazing! Heather the dental hygienist was friendly and gave me some excellent advice. I went in for a routine appointment July 2026 and Heather, just like always, was very friendly and efficient. I also met Dr. Baker, who was filling in for Dr. Yazgi. Dr. Baker was also quite friendly and seemed like an excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit at Middletown Family Dental today. Everyone there, including the receptionist, dental hygienist and dentist was pleasant and welcoming. I was especially impressed with the thoroughness of the visit which included X-rays, cleaning and exam. I did not feel a bit hurried and both the hygienist and dentist really listened and responded to my concerns. I never have enjoyed going to the dentist but this was a pleasant experience. I am so glad I chose this practice.

Positive experience: I have been for many years, and still am extremely pleased with the entire MFD staff. However I was very disappointed that my dental hygienist did not wear a mask during the entirety of my recent cleaning session, in spite of her obviously suffering from “the sniffles”. As a result, I am 99% certain that my coming down with a significant cold or flu was the result of that exposure. She was only masked (not a KN95) during the actual cleaning, not any time before or after, especially during the XRay procedures..

They also accepted my insurance! The office is very clean. My appointment took place as scheduled (after filling out necessary paperwork.) The hygienist did a great job with the cleaning. Painless in EVERY way.

I was due for a checkup, but my previous dentist had stopped accepting my insurance, and MFD was able to get me in the day after I called. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dentist and hygienist were gentle and thorough. I have some dental issues, and they did an excellent job of explaining the care I would need, making suggestions, and setting me up with a referral. I look forward to going there for years to come.

To someone who grew up with 'you show your Blue cross Card to the doctor snd everything is covered', understanding the current 'system' can be daunting. I am a new patient and had broken tooth, the office took my insurance and spent over an hour for thorough evaluation and cleaning. 100% pain free experience. The dentist is open to conservative alternatives for my broken tooth and offered multiple options. The office has a fantastic online portal and efficient with appointment reminders and information. Everyone is very courteous and kind but most import top notch in the dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and was pleasantly surprised at how kind and caring the front desk and medical staff was. They took the time to explain the medical jargon to me even when I asked them what the chart on their screen meant as they were looking at my teeth. Or when I asked them to re-explain something to me instead of getting frustrated that I didn’t get it the first time, like what has occurred at other medical offices I have gone to, they appeared more happy that I was eager to understand what was going on.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. I came in for a cleaning and to ask about Invisalign. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward appointment became uncomfortable due to the unprofessional behavior from the staff. During my cleaning, two staff members laughed and made comments in front of me about my dental x-rays, which felt incredibly disrespectful. As a patient, I expect to be treated with dignity—not mocked or spoken about as if I’m not present. In addition, one of the hygienists made a condescending remark while flossing my teeth, implying that I “clearly” didn’t know how to floss. Comments like this are not only unhelpful, but they come across as judgmental and discouraging—especially when many people struggle with oral care due to valid mental health or personal challenges. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected when receiving healthcare. This experience made me feel embarrassed and disrespected. I hope the staff can reflect on their professionalism and how they interact with patients, because small actions can have a big impact.

Fantastic experience: Today was an important day for me seeing a new dentist which I had a great deal of fear just going. Well fear no more! I was treated with kindness and compassion something I haven’t experienced in a very long time. I’m 71 and still trying not to get stressed out when I have to go see a dentist but I had some broken teeth and needed to get some care immediately. I loved the hygienist she explained everything to me and the Doctor was a female which i prefer. The doctor was very nice and very clear about what was going on with my broken teeth and information about replacing them was very knowledgeable. Gone are the days of not knowing what it was going to cost the office will give me a call in a couple of weeks to let me know what my insurance will cover and what they won’t. All and all I was taken back to finally find a dentist that cared about taking care of me and not trying to sell me root canals galore and putting me first. I have been through a lot trying to find a good dentist and a dentist that will take new patients so I recommend THE MIDDLETOWN FAMILY DENTAL especially for those with fears of dentist. Staff checked everything a head of time for insurance information and coverages. When all said and done, got a complete checkup, cleaning, x-rays and scheduled for next appointment.
