Fantastic experience: I have always had great experiences at this office. The staff is always helpful and Dr Lauren Maenza is great. I had a previous dentist who always responded to my concerns like they weren’t valid and Dr Maenza never ever does that. She’s always willing to take another look and try something else and I appreciate that so much.

Positive experience: Maenza family dentistry they are a professional dentist office. Greeted with a smile every visit. The staff is nice and cares about the needs of their patients. If you are someone you know is looking for a professional dentist, I recommend Maenza family dental. I have been a patient for more than fifteen years.

Fantastic experience: Love this Dental Clinic! I have been with them for 8 years now. Dr Maenza is so nice and sweet. Staff are awesome! They are all nice. I just went this week and was assigned with their new hygienist, Ms. Sarah. She’s so sweet. She explained a lot of things about my situation. She explained everything I need to know. The new Male Dentist is also very professional. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Definitely wished I’d read the lower reviews before going. I don’t like to give negative reviews, but after months I felt it best in case anyone else considers a procedure here. I suggest getting a second opinion before scheduling a procedure here. (Apparently even a filling). Hundreds of out of pocket dollars later…I had to find a new dentist to correct what Maenza did. She said I was getting a “simple” filling on a back tooth then they’d schedule a cleaning. I knew something went wrong during the procedure. And once I got home the tooth was extremely sensitive to air, hot and cold. I tried to press through the pain and replied to them twice by text and called the office to alert that I was experiencing pain and all they did was follow up about me coming in for yet another unrelated appointment. It’s a money grab. New dentist explained that based on the X-rays the procedure wasn’t necessary and whatever filling she applied fractured leaving my nerve endings exposed. I will never return to this place. My procedure was in August and it’s December and they’ve never followed up except to reschedule me for a cleaning—a “deep” cleaning that would require multiple visits. Found out from another dentist that wasn’t necessary. Be careful here

Fantastic experience: THIS IS ANOTHER UPDATE. I visited the Dental Clinic on 12/06/2023. It was for a minor tooth patch up on a chipped tooth. Things are delightfully the same since my last visit almost 9 months ago Extremely professional and excellent service. The dental and administrative staff are very pleasant, friendly, and full of warmth; their usual business practice. Actually I am at a loss fir words to describe my great respect and appreciation for their services. They know the business. Thank you. Dr. Lauren. You and your staff are the epitome of the best ultimate professionals. My major dental work is over: Extraction, crowns, and dentures. They have done a magnificent job. Professionalism, efficient service, and Happy work atmosphere were the prevailing experience I had. The denture fittings and adjustment were simply superb. Let me just say this. Dr Lauren Maenza, and maybe I am bias, is a tremendously excellent dentist. I am privileged and honored to recommend to Everyone for your dental needs and service. Negative experience: I had two procedures done here: cleaning (which was fantastic) and Zoom whitening (which was not). The cleaning was great because the doctor’s bedside manner was professional. The whitening was a not so pleasant experience. The doctor and two hygienists saw my teeth and said they could be whitened. I went in for the procedure and the first off thing was the hygienist kept leaving me in the room to assist with other patients. The procedure consists of four sessions of 15 minutes, she would come in reapply the gel, turn the light back on and leave to help with a cleaning. I thought that was odd because I’m a patient as well and there were times the pain was excruciating and I couldn’t talk or get anyone’s attention. I had to flag down a random person walking down the hall to tell them. When I was done, the results were so minimal that if you blink you’d miss them. I said something to the hygienist and she said “well your teeth were white to begin with” (they weren’t, they are yellow at the top and taper down to a shade of eggshell, hence why I whitened them). But I found that to be ironic because before I got the procedure they assured me it would work but after when they saw it didn’t, the conversation shifted to “well your teeth were white.” They took a before and after picture and you honestly cannot tell which is the before or after. Nevertheless, I went home, used the take home trays the way they advised…still nothing. I contacted them and someone named Jolie was very helpful and told me she’d help me figure things out. She asked what mouthwash and toothpaste I used. When really nothing could come of it I asked to see the doctor to see what went wrong or maybe see in regard to composite building and they refused to book an appointment. They claim what I’m saying is impossible so I’ve taken multiple pictures and have verbally expressed that I have no problem seeing the doctor about it, but they will not book an appointment. Do your whitening somewhere else (make sure the place uses a visual chart to see what shade you begin with and the shade you end with because they don’t have this, they just take pictures) or research a different system (there’s also one that’s called Kor, Zoom is the whitening system that was popularized in the 2000s and other states don’t even use it anymore). It’s unfortunate because they assured me they would help and “get to the bottom of things”, but instead never did anything or had a doctor see me about it. $400 down the drain unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wise is on Humana's in-network dentist list. I have used them for my preventative cleanings. They follow covid procedures. Took me in short amount of time and gave thorough cleaning, as well as oral exam and advice. Husband has had teeth filled with no problems. Efficient and professional. 6/24/22 Recently lost a piece of filling. Dr Wise's office gave me quick appointment. My old filling was removed and replaced with no pain and efficiency. Dr Wise is also very personable and puts you at ease. The staff is also friendly and professional.
