Fantastic experience: As someone with severe anxiety (fear) about anything having to do with dental procedures, to give a 5 star review is a big deal. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Anna helped me feel relaxed and informed. Be honest when making your appointment if you have my same problem, they'll be gentle with you too, I'm sure.

Positive experience: Had a full mouth implant restoration done. Although it took quite some time, my dental heath was in horrible shape when we started. Dr. Troy and the staff was wonderful. I can't remember having teeth that function as well and I don't remember my smile being so nice, I'm constantly being told how nice my smile is, something I haven't heard in years. I highly recommend Oak Family Dental !!!

Brianna did a thorough cleaning and gave me lots of tips, Dr Troy was very knowledgeable and gave me good advice on further treatments. I absolutely thought the Drs dental assistant Anna with the curly hair was extremely attentive to my needs as a patient and worked very well with the Dr. They make a great team. I highly recommend this team and this practice.

His assistant Anna deserves a special shoutout because she held my hand during the process —honestly, I felt like I was in a delivery room about to have a baby, not in a dental chair! Even my first visit with his sister Dr. Margaret Patterson was a great experience, which shows how consistent and caring this team is. You can truly feel the family atmosphere in this office, and where there’s family, there’s definitely love.

My tooth looks better now than it did before! Her, and the entire staff are very courteous and professional. I previously saw Dr. Troy for an implant and I had a great experience with him also. Not only is everybody very friendly, but I'm in the chair at the appointment time, the dental hygienist, Lindsey, is always thorough and personable, and the doctors are all very competent. This office can provide root canals and implants. My wife's dentist sends her to other dentists for these services.

I was in a lot of pain, and they heard everything I said, but more importantly, they listened to me. Negative experience: I never had any issues with them for many years until April when I was seen by a new dentist that was out of network, unbeknownst to me. I was charged almost twice the original "estimate" billing. I contacted the office but I was only told that I could pay the bill on an installement plan. It was a very disappointing experience and I hope everybody learns from that experience. One, that I should not have trusted them and made sure that the new dentist was in my network (though I never encountered this issue with them before) and two, that they should have douiblechecked or triplechecked before they assign an out of network dentist. I was also charged as an emergency visit, whereas I had just called for an appointment that was set up the week after.
