Fantastic experience: I moved to Rockford a year and a half ago now. I’ve been slowly finding doctors in my new area. I was recommended to Kate by my good girlfriend Amelie. I have to say I am so happy that I did. All the staff was excellent starting with Kayla helping me get scheduled and figuring out what my insurance would pay. Also Amelie my good girlfriend who took my X-rays that day. My experience was a very easy and educational one as well with Dr. Kate. She answered all my questions and made sure she understood everything about my dental history and my goals moving forward. If you’re looking for a good dentist in the Loves Park and Rockford area definitely should schedule a consultation you won’t regret it. Also thank you so much to Brooke my hygienist she was also very well educated and super gentle and kind during my whole cleaning. So happy to have found this wonderful practice, can’t wait for my next visit!

Negative experience: Dr Stewart called me herself yesterday to get on me about my missed appointment September 23 in which I called the office the post to cancel but got the answer machine in which I lefty message. I informed her after she tried to chew me out that my mother has health crisis and when she calls and needs me I will right there for her my mother is my priority over any appointment so I then told her that I no longer want to be a patient even though I respected her but if you have no empathy I have no need for you.

They go above and beyond. For example, my husband, also a patient of Dr. Stewart, has received a phone call in the evening to check on how he is feeling. I have back and knee issues now and am always given pillows for extra support and comfort. Dr. Stewart gets to know the families she serves and remembers to ask about them as well. I am completely satisfied with the care I get from her.

Then I took my son there for his first dentist appointment and was like ok, I get it! Then switched over to her! She is just a warm, genuine, caring human being, who you can tell actually truly cares about her clients. I had to get some work done on a tooth to fill in an area, and it was the first time that I actually didn’t experience a lot of pain during something like that. She is amazing and I’m so glad I switched over to her!

Negative experience: I have a lot of confusion about my appointment. I don't understand how my mouth looked great 6 months ago and now I have periodontal disease. My gums are swollen and they don't bleed. Did I just skip over gingivitis? I think it's a precursor and it should have identified previously so I could stop it. I was always told everything looks great and I do a great job. Very confused. I will get a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t have a dentist since moving back to Rockford. Then I cracked a molar tooth. Dr Stewart got me in within 4 days (would have been sooner if I had any pain). Performed a comprehensive exam including X-rays. Set me up with an oral surgeon to have the molar extracted. There was an opening so I go back this afternoon for a teeth cleaning. Today, Nov 2, 2023 I had my 6 month teeth cleaning, polishing, X-rays and exam. Everyone here ( receptionist, oral hygienist and Dr Stewart are very friendly and professional. Things started right at my appointment time with no wait. I highly recommend Dr Stewart for your dental needs. Tuesday, Nov 12, 2024 I had my 6 month teeth cleaning ( using an ultrasonic device), polishing, x-rays and exam. Another good exam with no cavities. I highly recommend Dr Stewart for your dental needs. Monday, May 19, 2025 I had my 6 month teeth cleaning, using ultrasonic cleaning. No exam this time.

Fantastic experience: DR. Katherine Stewart and her staff are so wonderful. Very clean and neat environment. Well organized friendly staff always. Not to mention Dr. Stewart does an outstanding job and is very passionate about her work. Her hygienist has been cleaning my teeth going on 3 years and she is such kind and caring person and very passionate about her work and takes the time to educate you on better hygiene care for your teeth. The entire staff is so thorough and efficient I'd say this is by far one of the better offices in all in this area.
