Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place . The staff is simply delightful . Dr Bates pulled 2 of my teeth with no problems . He kept asking me if the sedation was good and if I was numb enough. If I was comfortable . And then bam something that should have taken 45 mins or longer was done in 20-25 mins . I am home and the pain is minimal . I would suggest this place to everyone .

Fantastic experience: I had a filling fall out of my molar and the tooth had chipped a little with some decay so the hole was very large and obnoxious. Dr. Bates filled the tooth very carefully so as to not damage the root, he said it would need a crown before long. He did an awesome job on the filling and I haven't had any pain with the tooth. It has been over three months and it is still doing great. He's an awesome dentist and very kind and meticulous.

Fantastic experience: Nobody asked me to leave a review just an automatic text that I got after my first visit. I had a really positive experience so far and I know how hard it is to find a good dentist because I’ve been looking for years. More accurately I put off going to see a dentist for a couple years, because I haven’t been able to find a good fit until now. Everyone was polite and professional. The dental assistants and dentist we’re all thorough and did a really good job. I’ve been wanting to find a good dentist and thankful that I finally have!

The hygienist, the dentist, and the assistants are super professional, very careful, and attentive. If you don't speak much English, they'll help you. They have staff who speak Spanish!

Fantastic experience: I had to find a new dentist recently, I picked Serene dental because it was close to my house and boy I’m glad I did!! First impression was that it was clean and inviting, the receptionist is an absolute delight. The dentist and all of his team were very helpful, knowledgeable and did a great job. They even fit me in last minute on a SATURDAY to fix a broken tooth of mine. I would and will recommend this dentist office to anyone looking or just not completely satisfied with their current dentist. Five stars for sure!

About a week after my first appointment I went and got a cavity filled and everyone was even more amazing the second time! I was super nervous because I’ve never had a cavity and they walked me through every step before it even happened! I highly recommend them to everyone!

Negative experience: MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU A PRINT OUT OF YOUR COST PRIOR TO TREATMENT! The dentist and the hygienist did a great job. They are very understanding of people that get anxious at the dentist. Its hard to find a dentist that is open on saturdays so i dont have to request time off work. I dont like that i never received a print out of what my costs for my treatment would be so there was a misunderstanding on the amount that was verbally told to me. The amount was way more than i expected and was charged AFTER the treatment was done. I was only able to pay a partial amount and now stuck with an $700 unexpected bill. They also did not mention they don't do the crowns there, so i would have to come back for my permanent crown and have a 3 week wait. Update: they never got back to me. I left a voicemail and never heard back. They do seem to reply via email but only to half my questions. I still have not received a solution. Not even a payment plan option from them for the miscommunication. I asked twice for a copy of the agreements i signed in the office and have not received those either.

They explained everything that they were going to do, and worked very efficiently to complete my root canal. Fantastic experience: Let’s be honest, nobody loves going to the dentist. But Dr Bates is so amazing!! Professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable. I’ve had a few different fillings done, among my numerous cleanings, and the entire staff is incredible! They know me by name as soon as I walk through the door. I don’t have much flexibility in my job and they have been very kind to reschedule me extremely quickly, if not the next day. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing dentist!! Gentle, caring, thorough and just wonderful. I’ll never go to another dentist again!

Fantastic experience: I went in with a very very infected tooth. Lip was swollen, in a lot of pain. They got me in and started my root canal right away. You guys saved my weekend, was going to be a painful miserable weekend but thanks to you guys I'm pain free. The overall experience was great, the doc was very gentle, but very quick. I found my new dentist. Highly recommended if you need a root Canal done or anything, him and his staff got you covered!!

Fantastic experience: New to area and needed a new dentist, so I tried Serene because of the convenient location. My husband and I are more than pleased. They are thorough and do a great job explaining. They don’t try to upsale what is needed and are great with working with our insurance plan. I feel that Dr. Bates is young enough to know the latest techniques but also has plenty of experience. We are very pleased.
