Saying a root canal was a good experience is somewhat of an oxymoron but I can honestly say that having Dr. Faucette and his dental assistant made getting the procedure much better than expected. I was kept informed throughout the painless process of getting a root canal. I would definitely recommend Endodontic Associates and Dr. Faucette.

Fantastic experience: After experiencing severe pain following a dental crown procedure, I was referred to Dr. Annie Jones and I’m so thankful I was. What really impressed me was that she didn’t rush straight into doing a root canal. She carefully evaluated everything, adjusted my bite, and asked me to wait another week to make absolutely sure the root canal was truly necessary. That level of honesty and professionalism meant a lot to me because it showed she genuinely cared about doing what was best for her patient, not just jumping into a procedure. Unfortunately, the pain continued, and once it was clear the root canal was needed, Dr. Annie Jones got me in quickly and took amazing care of me. The procedure went smoothly, and the relief afterward was incredible. I’m finally feeling so much better. Dr. Jones and her team were compassionate, thorough, and extremely professional throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend her to anyone dealing with dental pain or needing specialized care.

They worked together like a well oiled machine and made sure I was as comfortable as possible, which is hard when all you can think about is your nerves getting scooped out of your teeth. Regardless, they were very communicative and answered any questions I had. 10/10 for patient care. Hopefully won’t have to have this done again, but if I did I would request them.

Fantastic experience: I don’t like going to the dentist. I needed some specialty dental work that my regular dentist could not provide. I was referred to Endodontic Associates. I saw Dr. Philip Faucette. I had a great experience. He walked me through step-by-step on what was needed and how he would accomplish that. I was able to get an appointment quickly after the consultation. The treatment was done in the time that Dr. Faucette had estimated. I was glad to have been under his care. I would recommend anyone to their office.

Negative experience: Refused to treat for an emergency root canal that was needed because I could not pay almost $1500 up front despite having dental insurance. Canceled my appointment without consent when I was trying to get the funds scrambled together to pay stating that I could just have my tooth extracted at the ER instead. I have a weakened immune system and am on a medication that causes risk of infection. The failure for them to perform the procedure and cancel last minute is putting my health and safety at further risk. They care more about lining their pockets with cash than their patient’s safety and well being.

Fantastic experience: Everything went smooth for my 11 yo’s root canal.

Negative experience: I have to agree with the prior review from Karen Saliski. I'm feeling kinda ripped off from the Cool Springs Endodontic Associates office. I was referred to them for a root canal from my dentist. I went to see Dr. Carr who did an exam and took many x-rays and said I did NOT need a root canal. I paid my out of pocket of $200 and my insurance company paid their part. I went home and 4 days later on a Saturday I had excruciating pain and no dentists available on weekends. I see my dentist on Monday after a horrific weekend of nonstop pain. He said I DO need the root canal and wanted me to go back to EA. I said hell no after what I went through. My dentist said if I went to another endo. I would have to pay all that over again. I called EA to try scheduling a root canal with another endo dentist (in the SAME office) and they said I would have to go through all that and exams and costs. FOR THE SAME PRACTICE/OFFICE who have all of those x-rays already. I will never go back there, and I reported the services to Cigna Dental. BUYER BEWARE. Now I know why everyone hates dentists and the outrageous billing practices. Feel free to contact me and I will share the actual billing statement.

I went in for a consultation and after our decision that I needed a root canal Dr. Austin Carr said he had an opening if I wanted it done that day so I didn't have to travel one and a half hours back to Brentwood. With that he and his assistant went way beyond on my care and treatment. I can't thank him enough!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Faucette was fantastic (the assisting staff and nurse equally so). My dentist referred me to him for a somewhat tricky root canal (my first). After hearing so many root canal horror stories over the years, I didn’t know what to expect. Well, I’ll tell you…I’ve had cavities drilled on that were MUCH worse! I was stunned at how easy and totally pain free the procedure was. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Fantastic experience: Was not expecting to get my root canal done day of! I went to my dentist, in an extreme amount of pain. They called Endodontic Associates for an appointment, and I had one in 30 minutes. They not only assessed the problem, but they also did the root canal immediately. All previous experiences with having to have a root canal done, there would be days in between realizing what the problem was and having the procedure done. Entire team was kind and professional. Renee was great! I really appreciated that they had a couple of payment options, which was a nice way to make an emergency root canal not so hard hitting on the wallet. If you have to get a root canal done, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: I chose Dr Murray because I wanted IV sedation for my upcoming procedure. I’m claustrophobic and can’t handle the dental dam they use during a root canal. He explained everything to me during our consultation and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I really enjoyed him and his assistant Jessica. I am completely at ease now, not at all stressed about my next appt. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. The building, lobby and rooms are welcoming and nicely done. A+

Fantastic experience: Endodontics Associates diagnosed my problem and gave me two options for fixing it. They were punctual (I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room for a long time.), they were friendly, and their facilities are impressive. (clean, comfortable, and to me they seem to be state-of-the-art). Overall, Endodontics Associates treated me excellently, and I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: Dr Faucette fully explained the root canal procedure and it went exactly as he said. No pain and the procedure took 30-40 minutes. He dispelled any myths and horror stories that I’ve heard about root canals!

Negative experience: I was not a candidate for root canals when I went there thinking they as specialists could treat my broken teeth. They took unnecessary x rays that I had to pay for out of pocket. Another dentist I followed up after them said upon physical exam it was clearly evident the teeth could not be saved by root canals and crowns. The cone beam x ray they did was redundant. Then they charged insurance carrier for an extensive expanded exam of which I only get covered 100% every three years. They did not cancer screen. They did not check tongue or gum health. They took no full mouth x rays. Now they are trying to charge me for the amount insurance wouldn't cover for the bogus exam. They are clearly into upcharging and insurance coding when they know a patient has to go elsewhere to get treatment. I do not recommend them.

I had zero pain before and during the procedure, and had very minimal soreness after the procedure. They are a well-oiled machine and they and their entire office staff have thought of every little detail to make the patient's experience a positive and calm one. Amazing!

I came in yesterday for a root canal and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I was taken care of with care and they talked me through each step that was taken. Fantastic experience: The whole staff was very emphatic, professional, helpful, and wanted to help me. I was seen the same day I called as a new patient which typically is unheard of. Dr. Annie Jones which btw I think is a baddie was just amazing! She was able to find the root of the problem, literally and recommend a solution and a referral. Although she was not able to save my tooth she helped me make the best of a difficult decision and was just so nice and empathetic. I recommend this practice to anyone that needs to see an Endodontist. They are all top notch!

Negative experience: Very shady business practices. They gaslighted me and scammed me out of money. I came here on referral from my dentist because they have more advanced X-rays here. Not only did they not use the X-rays my dentist wanted (they used the same as he had, no difference), they said my tooth pain wasn't great enough to concern them and tried to shuffle me out the door asap. They said I didn't owe them anything for what amounted to a waste of my time. Then 2 months later they sent a bill to my address. If you want to waste your time and money with greedy "care providers", this is the place for you. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: I hate to leave a negative review. But one of the providers here who I won’t name, did a root canal on the wrong tooth. Literally, she did a whole root canal on the non infected tooth. I can’t make this up. She’s also very lucky we didn’t sue her but I will let anyone and everyone know about this, as it was easily avoidable. As a medical professional, I’m shocked at the lack of attention to medically necessary detail. **for anyone needing clarification, this was for my wife. She was the patient. We also reached out to this office with zero response**

Fantastic experience: Getting a root canal was as easy as an eye exam. Unbelievable painless process. The Doctor and his assistant had tremendous teamwork skills.

Negative experience: The reception staff was terrific and the dental assistant was kind and professional once she warmed up to me. Sadly, she had a look of apprehension when she called me to the back for the appointment. I complimented her demeanor and noted her professionalism. Any apprehension she had prior to that melted away. Working with her was very pleasant. My visit with the dentist, however, was disappointing and not what I anticipated. Some medical professionals have a crummy bedside manner and I felt like I was more of a burden and a bother to this particular dentist. It was like, "quickly get them in the chair and quickly get them out." This cattle call approach to dentistry is not my cup of tea. We're talking about possibly extracting teeth here... This isn't a discussion about the type of fabric we need for an afghan verses a Persian rug. I expected more.
