Fantastic experience: Excellent and professional. Recommend to all. Been a dental patient for more than 20 years.

Negative experience: The insurance/billing person lies, hide things and honestly never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly at a dentist office. They nickel and dime you, once you’re in the chair you now need 10 things they never discussed. No other dentist has ever said anything to me like they have. They refused service because I declined what they said I needed… then because I took PTO to be there I said fine. At the end, I find out my dental insurance is out of network and they charged me $670… excuse me? For a cleaning/x-rays that are free twice a year with insurance. Stay away. Just stay away. They’re awful. I also paid and they said that $100 was for my deductible and guess what? It wasn’t applied that way and now I still owe $100 next time I go. Just save yourself the headache and go be treated correctly somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I always appreciate the time and care that my family receives here. The latest technology in the equipment they use makes going to the dentist so much more comfortable than what was used in the past. The entire staff makes going to the dentist an experience you don’t have to dread.

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience yesterday. I’m extremely picky when it comes to dental cleanings and dental hygienists, so I don’t give compliments lightly. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did an excellent job. She was thorough, took her time, and I could genuinely feel how clean my teeth were afterward. One thing that really stood out to me is that I have exposed roots, which can make cleanings very uncomfortable. I always let hygienists know beforehand, but in the past I’ve still ended up in pain because those sensitive areas weren’t handled carefully. This was the first time I’ve had a dental cleaning without being hurt. She was attentive, gentle, and clearly mindful of my concerns throughout the entire appointment. The dentist who came in after my cleaning was amazing as well—professional, personable, and made me feel comfortable and cared for. Overall, this was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ghattas and Dr Coligado and their staff are always friendly and so professional. Dr Coligado repaired a broken front tooth for me. Since he had helped my husband with extensive repairs to his front teeth, I expected him to do a great job. He surpassed my expectations. The repair matched my tooth color perfectly and left my tooth looking and feeling smooth and strong. I would recommend him to anyone wanting excellent dental work.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with dentistry of Kingwood. I had an appointment on a Thursday at 330 pm. I got to my appointment at 315, a couple of minutes prior to my appointment to fill paperwork. When I first arrived I was told to fill out paperwork on my phone. I did that and that took 5-10 min and right after one of the ladies took me back for “xrays” she took 1 image of a tooth I was complaining about (mind you it was 2 that I was having issues with). After she took her one “xray” she preceded to tell me she was going to call the dentist. When he came in he asked me what I was feeling, I explained and he asked to look at my mouth. He touched the tooth that was hurting with his finger and instantly said “you need a root canal” not looking at the “Xray” or actually even looking at my mouth, just one touch with his finger and said that was needed. After that I explained that I had more than one tooth that was hurting but he explained could only take care of one of my teeth at the moment. Just one. He got me up and said he could not do the root canal that day due to me having an infection but he could do it the following morning early in the morning which made no sense to me. He explained the root canal would be almost $4000. Did not give me any other options, no other explanation on my tooth whatsoever, left still in pain, no answers at all, a bad xray (1) and $150 dollars down for a 10 MINUTE VISIT. I left the office at 342 after being brought back at 330. 10 minutes, no treatment, no solution, I did not feel heard at all and will not be returning nor recommending this place. I left extremely unsatisfied and upset that a 10 min visit would be $150 dollars and did not get help or anything out of it.

Fantastic experience: Our whole family loves the Dentistry of Kingwood. Our kids are adults now and will drive across town because of the staff/service. The front office, hygienists and dentists are professional, friendly and do a great job. The office is clean, decorated beautifully and runs efficiently. I'm seen at the time of my appointment and every step/expense is explained ahead of time. We won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Coligado is a very nice and considerate dentist. He takes the time to explain everything and will also give his honest opinion on treatment plans and will go with the plan his patients choose. I love going to him and I trust his opinion and expert knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Got me in for same day visit. Dr Ghattas was kind, gentle, and took the time to clearly explain the treatment plan he recommends, which I really appreciated. The staff was equally polite and efficient . I’m looking forward to returning to follow through with the recommendations. A big take away for me was there no pressure to proceed with a treatment I didn’t come in for.

I called the office at 12:30p and got an appointment for 4:00p, as a new patient. Everyone from the office manager to doctor were welcoming, friendly, and did a wonderful job.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Coligado has been my dentist for many years. He and his staff, Pureza and Elke have always been kind, attentive to my needs, and planning ahead taking preventive measures to see an oral issue arising before it becomes a problem. You cannot ask more from a doctor.

Fantastic experience: 5 stat michelin grade if dentist had michelin stars. This clinic has took exceptional care of my teeth and have made time and exceptions when and where times were tight. Edwin is above an beyond in his class at what he does and dont let it go inknown the hygene of this facility is bar-none to many others out there. U can eat off the floor in this facility. But the hospitality that is embraced and expressed in this clinic is what will have u addicted. Youve been warn. I wouldnt go anywhere else, and your invited to join the club as for your teeth welcome home.

Negative experience: I have never been spoken to in such a demoralizing manner by a dentist like I did today with Dr. Coligado. His bed-side manner is deplorable not to mention he didn’t even introduce himself before tearing me apart over the health of my teeth. The phrases and words he uses is appalling and he instills unnecessary fear unto his patient. We’ve all had fillings, cavities.. at some point in our lives. But to walk into the room with no introduction and berate me with “every single tooth has decay, do you even floss?” Is absolutely inappropriate. I’ve had great dental health for 30 years, and several fillings in my life. I left this office in tears and canceled all future appointments because I can’t even fathom having this man do any work on my teeth solely after how he spoke to me and how I was treated. The quoted bill for the work alone was a huge red flag. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to someone who shows a little more compassion and cares about their patient, like a human being should.

Dr. Coligado answered all of my questions, very patiently, very knowledgeable about your smile and teeth positioning, and how things could look a whole lot better in a conservative way, everybody’s so sweet from start to finish. Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office so much that even when I lived out of state, I would schedule my cleanings when I came into town for vacations! (I’ve actually been coming here for FIFTY years!!!) The original dentist is no longer here, but the dentists that took over the practice years ago have continued to maintain the same quality and care that I’ve always experienced. The staff is always kind and helpful. And I love the dental hygienists - they don’t rush through cleanings, they listen to any concerns, and really take their time to make sure you are comfortable through out the entire dental process.

Fantastic experience: I used to see Dr. Bui as a kid but started seeing Dr. Colligado as I got older. Every visit is nothing short of amazing. I love everyone in the office. Dr. Colligado is such an amazing dentist and his work is always flawless. Fantastic experience: Had my first visit today, an "emergency" visit due to unreal pain in a back tooth. Dr. Ghattas agreed to see me (I'm so grateful!). He was very thorough and explained what was happening and my options for treatment. He answered all of my questions and was both kind and polite. In addition, the front desk staff was also very kind and very helpful. I will be taking care of my troubled tooth, and I've already set my first "new patient" appointment. Fantastic experience: Dr. Edwin Coligado is an excellent dentist, along with his dental assistant , who was calming and efficient. I had a difficult extraction, along with two crowns to prepare a bridge, and the procedure went more smoothly than I anticipated. Even though I’ve had extensive dental work in my life, I was anxious about this, and I’ll admit, it was needless worry. Dr. Coligado gave the most painless injections I’ve ever received, and the entire procedure went more quickly and more pain -free than expected. I highly recommend Dr. Coligado, and the welcoming and accommodating staff at the Dentistry of Kingwood. I will be a life-long patient because I was treated personably, fairly, and above all: successfully!
