Negative experience: Can’t speak for cherry hill but the Bensalem office is full of crap! Lied to us about by wife needing work she did not need just to try and make money. We felt they were Bullshitting us and went got another opinion and that confirmed it. On top of that , the Caucasian lady that walks you to the back, (I guess she’s the assistant) was extremely rude and tried to rush us out the office just so she could leave without giving sufficient answers. Unprofessional to say the least and rude/arrogant in their delivery

Negative experience: Big time scammed. Went to get teeth and they said my insurance would not cover. Tried to sell me teeth and wanted to run .you credit. Went outside called my insurance and they said the place lied. Went back in and told them and they laughed at me. Nice way to treat a disabled veteran

Positive experience: People are great but the labs they use are slow. On a side note, they have a handicap accessible bathroom large enough to fit a wheelchair with a large grab bar on the wall.

Fantastic experience: Sorry it took so long for my review. I am very happy with my new smile. My teeth were in bad shape. Every few months one would fall out. I called Universal Dentistry and my life changed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, all of them. The Doctor's were great. After getting my new teeth my smile was back. It took a little while to get use to them, then a great smile. When my bottom plate broke. I call them and they told me they were my temporary. They give me my permanents and man they are great. They fit in easy and stay in place all day. I am eating what ever I want without any problems. If you need a great smile go to Universal Dentistry of Bensalem. They work miracles. Negative experience: My wife had the dental implant process. Pulling teeth, bone grafts, multiple try ins. Long story, but the gist is that it took over 2 years from start to finish. Two 3 hr. roundtrips to the lab in Bristol (accomplished nothing). This was all due to the incompetence of the lab and the dentist in Turnersville. Never have I heard more lame excuses for the issues that arose during those 2 years. My wife was an emotional wreck over this. It got to where we weren't sure there would ever be a resolution. We spent abut $35,000 over 2 major procedures and they treated here like she was an inconvenience, at best. Years ago we had great experiences and that is why my wife went back there. That is done! Maybe other locations are ok. Turnersville was not. We wouldn't go there if it was the only dentist anywhere.

Negative experience: ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE!!! I paid exorbitant amounts to get my dental bridge implant re-glued in November 2024. Guess what?! Today, 16 months later, it has fallen out of my mouth. Stay away from these people. Use them at your own peril!

Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere, the staff are super kind and caring. They provided me with all the information I needed, doc was very good at making you feel comfortable and light hearted and made sure that I had the least amount of pain during my whole process. I would highly recommend anyone trying to get any kind of dental work done go to universal dentistry before anywhere else. And the pricing and financing the staff helped with the whole thing and their pricing was the most achievable for me. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at this Universal Dentistry since 2018. I was happy with the previous staff and the work that they did. I recently got a new denture for my implants. After a year of going back and having it fitted and fitted and fitted and having it not fit right, I finally just took it home and it still doesn’t fit right. I can’t even get it in my mouth. I don’t know what the problem is with this new staff.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING!! Honestly I don’t write many reviews but this place honestly saved me, the staff, Leo and Amy were fantastic in making this process so quick easy and comfortable especially for someone that gets nervous hearing the word dentist. Dr. Burton is absolutely amazing and I have never been more confident in my teeth and I am 100% certain that anyone that comes in is great hands and I couldn’t recommend any more highly!!

Negative experience: Went to them for an emergency extraction and. When I called and spoke to Leo I let him know that I am in the military and I asked if they work with tricare and united Concordia and Leo respond “yes we have many patients with those insurances “ so I arrived to get it done then doctor was nice and very comforting but they told me in order to get the procedure done it was 400$ upfront and that once it’s done to send it to my insurance company to get my money back. Well I did that and turns out they do not work with anything with the military and are not under the DOD net for dental care so the military will only Pay 150$ to me and I’m out the rest or the money due to universal dentistry fees. I will not be going back there. There was miscommunication between me and Leo and the manager Amy threw it back in my insurances face and kept deflecting my questions. Saying “it’s out of our hands “. Talk to ur insurance company. In all it was a total crap Show and when then received their money they want no parts with it. WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN if you do decide to go there make sure they atleast work within the net especially if you’re a DOD employee. They will not help me out by giving me some of my money back due to their employee having me come there under false information they don’t not honor what they say and horrible business practice

Negative experience: Let me start off by saying the staff are great .Dr Burton he's funny and the staff is friendly but the product is horrible compared to the other full set of Dentures I got at another place wow what a difference I would look elsewhere... I honestly can't believe how much better of a fit and nicer-looking compared to the ones that they made me here....horrible This place is not even accredited with the Better Business Bureau They failed to respond to 4 complaints..... unlike me do your due diligence and check with your insurance company first they told me that my insurance is not covered and it had to be self-pay my insurance covered my second procedure and everything with the other dentist so do yourself a favor save money and check first I'm sorry I didn't..... GOOD STAFF AND DR. BAD COMPANY AND PRODUCT

Fantastic experience: While being treated by Dr Burton at UD, the Doc told me I should have a small growth on my face looked at. Turns out it was cancerous and removed by a dermatologist. BIG THANK YOU to DR BURTON for his advice, he's not just a dentist, he's a caring DOCTOR.

Positive experience: I am in the process of getting dental implants at UD in Bensalem. It is quite a long process. Lots of pain, healing, another procedure, more healing, etc. Thankfully I knew this going in, but the staff here made me even more at ease with their friendliness and explanations of everything that is being done as we go along. Doc Burton is gentle and caring, the two assistants, Brooke and Kenzie are top notch and go out of the way to put you at ease. Jamie the office manager is just as wonderful. I hope that in the end I am happy with the results and will give a final review then. Fingers crossed.

Negative experience: I've been a patient for 2 yrs now. And I have yet to be completely happy or satisfied with the full lower implant denture. There's been nothing but one problem after another with these things. Hurting; then Loose; rocking back and forth in my mouth. Now the implant stud seat that's in the denture has completely pulled out. I'm done with their excuses and playing these games. I paid $12,000...CASH!! I'm going back tomorrow and they're going to make me a new denture or I'm going to sue.

Negative experience: I would like to bring to your attention an experience I had with Dr. Barton at Universal Dentistry. During three separate interactions with him, I encountered unprofessional conduct and behavior that I believe is not aligned with the standards of the healthcare profession. On one occasion, I was kept waiting for 15 minutes without any acknowledgment or explanation. Subsequently, during my most recent visit, Dr. Barton's behavior was extremely concerning. He exhibited anger and directed inappropriate language towards me. I had hoped to find a resolution to a previous dental issue at Universal Dentistry, but instead, I was met with unprofessional conduct. Dr. Barton accused me of calling his assistant "dumb," which was not the case. He proceeded to call me a liar, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment. This behavior is unacceptable, particularly in a professional setting. As a healthcare professional with over 21 years of experience, I am deeply disappointed by the conduct of Dr. Barton. I believe that his behavior reflects poorly on the practice, and I felt compelled to bring this matter to your attention. I appreciate your consideration.

Negative experience: NEW PATIENTS BEWARE! *Total misleading advertising practices with MAJOR UP SELLING every step of the way.Also their examination found I had 12 cavities when my second opinion found I ONLY had 2 ! NEW PATIENTS BEWARE OF UNIVERSAL DENTISTRY! **They have an F RATING from the Better Business Bureau.

Negative experience: This Dentist wanted to extract a perfectly healthy tooth just so He could put some cash in the register that day. He claimed it was "erupted", "infected" and would not even prescribe an antibiotic unless I paid to have it pulled. Run fast, run far away from this guy. Dentist Kevin Burton said "We don't prescribe antibiotics all Willy Nilly" (He actually used the term Willy Nilly!" I went to an honest Dental practice a week later and they said the tooth was fine , it was just contacting an opposing tooth when I would chew. I have documentation to back all of this up !!

Fantastic experience: I don’t typically leave reviews but I do have to say, UD is AMAZING! I unfortunately had to get some extractions done, and let me tell you, I was half-asleep during my appointment. I didn’t even realize they had gotten the teeth out until they had to tell me about it. I love the way both the Doctor and his assistant, I believe it was, explained things to me, made it easy for me, and they were both very kind. Ensuring I was comfortable, asking me question, and trying to distract me, hands down, the best dental office I’ve been to. This is a wonderful office, and they will work with you to the best of their ability with financial issues. Glad I can smile again, confidently and happily, without breaking the bank, all thanks to Universal and the wonderful team here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kevin Burton is hilarious and genuinely made the whole visit so much more comfortable. He’s great at what he does and keeps the energy light and positive. Kenzie, his assistant, was super kind and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. They make an amazing team. Fantastic experience: I needed a three tooth bridge. I had a price from a Selinsgrove Pa dentist of $5700.00 Universal Dentistry gave it to me for $3500 almost half. It was a great job and I’m very happy and Dr. Burton and his team was very professional and very nice. I would give more stars if I could thank you Universal Dentistry. With some of the savings I was able to afford four crowns, my smile has not looked this good in 30 years. I drove 140 miles each way to Universal Dentistry because they made me feel at home and comfortable while I was in the chair.

Negative experience: The office staff especially Ami are so rude and unprofessional. The prices they advertise are off by thousands and the Bensalem office especially the dental area is not modern or pleasing to look at. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: I have finished my treatment, a dental implant, and other things, including a cleaning and I had a very good experience with Dr. Burton, and with all the assistants, including the reception, in general everything was very good.

Negative experience: i paid 40,000 dollars for Permanent Dentures. they installed the implants at the same time they put in bone Grafts. out of the 11 implants they put in, i was then told that the implants were failing s they had to replace the permanent dentures for snap ins. since then i have lost two more of the original implants and now i am basically just having dentures and the sad part is dentures are 2300, but they have been blaming me for the glue that they recommendedi use. I have been told numerous times that they were supposed to let the bone grafs heal for 6 months atleast before they were installing the implants but instead they really didn't do the job so I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I also had a family member that had a very bad experience with them as well. Sadly they did not help me and blamed me for everything.

Fantastic experience: This review is from my mother who asked me to submit a review: my mother is absolutely petrified about seeing a dentist. She called around to many places until she spoke to an extremely nice, kind, considerate and most of all, personable lady in the front office who reassured my mother that many patients are fearful, but they do love how Dr. Burton is very gentle and kind. And when she saw him, she had an amazing experience. She also says how Amy, Valerie, Brooke, and Emily are super friendly and kind, and they put her at ease with each visit. She also mentioned how much cheaper they are and she loved their financing options. She wasn't even scared at her last visit! Thank you all for taking care of her!

Fantastic experience: A very comfortable place to visit for all dental needs. Had a root canal and it was a very easy visit where I was informed and instructed every step of the way. It was a great experience.

Negative experience: Horrible! The worst place I've ever been to. First appointment went great. All smiles. All nice, ever since, every time I went there for adjustments felt rushed, my last adjustment they cut off the wrong part of my denture. Didn't even make adjustments to the part I complained about. Went back to get it fixed. Had words with the manager now they were refusing to fix it. The doctor got very vocal with myself and my husband stormed off throwing his hand up in the air saying speak to the manager. The manager (Amy) refused to listen to anything I had to say or complain of. She said her staff told me this is what it is so that's what it is. I am currently seeking a lawyer and I am currently putting a formal complaint out on manager Amy and Dr. kevin. The most ignorant two people I've ever met in my life. To top it off, when my temporary plates first arrived, they were missing a tooth. Had to send it back and wait another 3 weeks. So 6 weeks total before I received my dentures. Wether or not they are my temporary plates I paid for them. They will be my backups and should fit perfect the way they did before assistant Brooke decided to go cutting big pieces off. I never complained of needing anything cut. Just smoothed and sanded slightly to make room under my tongue cause it was causing a blister. Under my tongue. Not the front of my mouth. $6,200 paid in full. Still don't have adjustments completed correctly on temporary plates, unable to do bite impression with temporary plate so how am I supposed to get permanent plates that I paid for already? This place is the absolute worst. The staff are arrogant and stupid. They don't pay attention and don't give you the time of day. Assistant Addy is very nice though. Everyone else need some serious attitude adjustments and need to step up and accept blame where it is due.

Negative experience: This young ladies at the front desk was wonderful. So is the dental tech, however, the Dentist was incompetent. I went for a check up and told I received a thorough checkup.. I received a bill and scheduled for the procedure..The same day, a relative sent me to another dentist, and he found a problem this dentist completely missed, which was the main problem. This was after he took many X-rays. Thank goodness I saw this other dentist or I would have had a huge problem in the future. Incompetence is never okay.

Negative experience: My mother in law who is 95 and in a wheelchair was taken there in September to see about her old top denture no longer fitting. Ended up having to get a new one which took over 3 months to get, was then talked into a bottom which she went to get and it was missing teeth and had to be redone. Recieved it again and it did not line up. She is there now and it was forced in ,causing her lip to bleed and lips are now bruising. She was told to come back in a few weeks to be checked. Needless to say she will not be returning . Worst place ever, I will tell everyone I know.

Negative experience: They are rude and disrespectful. I asked if they take my insurance they would not confirm they did. They expect you to pay out of pocket then seek reimbursement from your insurance. I was told that I obviously don't know how insurance works. Avoid used car salesman act that they employ.
