Fantastic experience: While visiting Long Beach,NY, from Florida I needed an emergency periodontal appointment. I was referred to RVC Dentistry and to my amazement was given a next day appointment with Dr.David Chen. I could not have asked for a more considerate, kind and understanding Dr. He diagnosed my problem and offered several options for treatment thus greatly relieving my anxiety (I was leaving on a 2 week cruise in 3 days,) I was put totally at ease with his professional approach and knowledge. Additionally, no dental practice can considered a 5 star practice without the support of its staff. Figen, Brit and Veronica were a pleasure to work with while answering all my questions and planning any future appointments.

My friend now sees her too! Marie and the team go above and beyond handling any questions including billing and how more involved procedures are scheduled out. The practice also has full dental services so Dr. Goldberg takes great care of my teeth and Dr. Hasday oversees my perio care. I highly recommend their care.

Fantastic experience: Great professional group, both the dentists and the hygienists. My husband and I have been coming here for years. One stop shopping if you have a problem, which makes it very convenient. They were exceptionally capable of handling the complicated issues we experienced.

Negative experience: This review is specific for the front desk, not the provider I saw. I was told insurance would reimburse me after I paid since I am out of network. The thing is, most patients are not educated on how insurance works, that's what the front desk receptionist are supposed to explain to you. The least they could've done was tell me to call my insurance company before visiting to find out if my insurance will accept and reimburse the consultation/imaging fees instead of balatantly saying I will be reimbursed, which sounded like I will get all of the money back, as that was not the case since I barely even got enough back to pay for gas.

I do miss seeing Dr Hasday, but Dr Chen performed my last periodontal procedure and Dr Velasco filled my last cavity. Also the front desk and check out personnel are always pleasant. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dr Hasday‘s office for any dental work. They are a team, they work well together, and are very helpful. Dr Goldberg has been such a help as well as Dr. Chen. They explained everything and go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and that you understand what needs to be done. I had a visit with Dr. Chen the other day to repair a tooth. He’s an amazing surgeon and did an excellent job and I would refer him to anyone who needs dental surgery. Dr. Chen is very smart. He makes you feel at ease as he works diligently to get the job done properly. My next visit is with The hygienist Kathleen to keep my teeth healthy. She’s another one who’s very professional. They all are. Although I keep hearing a dog bark, but I don’t see one.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dental practice by my forever dentist (my sister), so obviously seeing a new dentist made me uneasy. From the moment I walked into this practice the staff greeted me with warmth and respect, the waiting room was clean, and I didn’t have to wait at all during my three separate visits. The staff all wore matching scrubs (which I loved), they were professional, courteous, and all warm smiles, no blank stares or lack of acknowledgment. I was referred to Dr. Hasday but unfortunately our schedules did not align. Thank you Dr. Hasday for assisting me and making this experience such a good one, I am grateful to you and your team. I will forever rave about Dr. Chen; he is amazing and a true professional. Coming from the comfort of my sister as my dentist, Dr. Chen made the experience as seamless as he could, and I am very grateful. Fantastic experience: I had lost a filling in an incisor yesterday that also took with it a small part of the tooth itself (creating a small visible gap in my front teeth). In a panic and being dissatisfied with my most recent experience at another provider (where my prior excellent dentist had recently retired and I instead fell victim to an inexperienced kid), I called Rockville Centre for Dentistry. The person that answered the phone, Eileen, was extremely nice and despite the fact that I was not an pre-existing patient, squeezed me in with an appointment with Dr. Lary Verasco on the very same day. Upon arriving, the receptionist, the doctor, and his assistant, Latisha (sp?) greeted me warmly. Dr. Verasco filled the tooth, matching the color perfectly, in a pain-free manner, stabilizing the tooth while enhancing my smile. This was not a typical 1 or 2 sided filling in a back molar...as there was an important cosmetic aspect to it Dr Verasco does high quality work!! Fully recommend!

It was the last tooth on the upper, and I really can't open my mouth that wide. He was extremely patient and very talented. He really knows how to put a patient at ease. The end result was absolutely perfect. Actually, I was really concerned because the next day was Valentine's Day and we were going out. But I had no negative side effects whatsoever.I'm so excited that I decided to go ahead with the implant. I highly recommend Dr. Chen for any of your perio needs. I live on the east end, and I travel 1.5 hours each way to use this practice; I think that says it all.

Positive experience: The care was outstanding, but the unorthodox approach to billing was a surprise. Call to discuss BEFORE you book.

Negative experience: Dr. Hasday is a good practitioner. His bedside manner is among the best I have seen. He'll put you at ease, explain the work without rushing you, and apparently do the right job. Basically a good dentist and salesman. No problems here. The problem, and it is a big one for me, is his business practices. He quoted a price for his services and then, without any mention exacted significantly more for a "consultation" after the work was done. In this case, tripling the price. Specifically, I visited his office for a cleaning and imaging and was quoted a $ 225 fee. While I was there I asked about tooth pain. He looked at adjacent teeth, never mentioning charges. Upon leaving, I was billed $610 for "Consultation". Some may feel this is fair. No discussion permitted; just my problem. You be the judge. Imaging, which was included with the cleaning must be read by a doctor. So a cleaning must include some consultation. No explanation offered. Just pay up. If a patient feels so bamboozled, eh - robbed - that he is posting in every Internet forum and telling every Rockville Centre resident he knows, Dr. Hasday has failed him. Dr. Hasday might review his billing practices. An otherwise fine practitioner should not be leaving his patients feeling they were dealing with a lier and were ripped off.

Negative experience: Although I was quite satisfied with the treatment at this office I will not be returning. I was told the bill would be $225.00 but had to pay $610.00. I was given a verbal breakdown of the fees but I had no idea before hand that the bill would be 3X what I expected to pay. In today's world I guess you have to make the money but it would have been more ethical to warn me ahead of time.

As awful as it sounded, it turned out to be a very positive experience where I felt truly cared for by literally every staff member. EVERYONE was friendly yet extremely professional. Additional oral surgery was also made as pleasant as possible, leading to redoing my veneers with RVC for Dentistry, and even having my teeth straightened with Invisalign (which I had put off for decades) there. Fantastic experience: Hi Guys, it's me. Ok, so where do I begin? Let's start with the simple fact that, sad to say, very few people have had the lifetime of dental issues that I've had, some to blame on myself (stupid kid) and some to blame on bad genetics (good adult). For good or bad this makes me uniquely qualified to judge the quality and level of dental work I receive from wherever I happen to go, and boy have I been around. Suffice it say that the level of work and professionalism that I've received from Drs. Hasday, Goldberg and Chen has been nothing but impeccable. It's taken a year (I wasn't kidding about my mouth) but I'm finally hopefully set for life now. Throughout it all the overriding concern was what was good for me, the patient, and to make absolutely sure whatever was done was done to the highest standard, no matter what it took. To say that they (lookin' at you Dr. G) did what had to be done to make sure all was ok is a textbook example of going above and beyond. The fact that they really are sweethearts only made things even better. And a shout out to the rest of the staff. Bunch of total pros. So to sum up, I can't recommend them highly enough. Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience lifelong anxiety and fear of dental treatments. walked in off the street and was taken in like life long patient. Great professional staff. Calmed my fears and came up with a treatment plan that worked out terrific . Dr. Chen was warm and comforting and explained the whole procedure. Very happy with the results .
