Fantastic experience: Green Acres has been our favorite place of toothcare for the past 15 or 20 years and without any regrets. They have the most best qualified staff that provide excellent service, they are always professional, friendly and very caring.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience today, from the reception staff to the X-ray technician and most of all my Dr! They all were amazing!! I was seen quickly even as a walk-in and my fears were calmed and I felt so well taken care of ! The best dentist office

Negative experience: As per my insurance no copayment is ever needed. This place wanted me to pay a co payment. The Dentist seems very nice, however this place has lost my trust.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience during and after the removal of my two teeth on May 5th. Presently I am still in pain and most of all a sharp edge (bone /teeth) is sticking out of my gum.

He alleviate my tooth ache until I was able to see the surgeon for an tooth extraction. The surgeon (I forgot his name) was great. He made sure I was numb before extraction. Positive experience: My mom and aunt went here years ago. I changed insurance and found out they took it. The front desk was helpful and explained what the out of pocket cost would be. I needed a bottom molar extracted. It was pretty bad but the staff made me feel comfy knowing I was anxious. The assistant gave me extra numbing gel before the novacaine .so kind. I didnt think I was numb enough but the dr who did it knew where to numb me properly. I felt nothing. It took some time to get the tooth out ,but I felt nothing. Very grateful to the whole office!

Fantastic experience: This has been my first experience at Green Acres Dental. Dr. Shapiro and his assistant Jackie are awesome. They put this anxious patient at ease with their gentle manner and Dr. Shapiro thoroughly and clearly explained what I needed done. In addition, Dr. Klein performed an almost painless extraction. Co payments are clearly explained and a payment plan is available. I highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: So my story. This office.the dentists are good have to say. The Dental assistants awswell. But man the front desk, I think her name is Mary African American lady glasses. She is disgusting. She has no empathy, she actually laugj at u wen u have concerns rite in ur face. No care at all. Very nonchalant. I had and implant done and it cracked i went back 3 times on appointments they made and ntn was dine and she said sorry there is ntn we can do. But then the process started they did xray and imprint say cone back in 2 weeks they canceled. But whike I was waiting the temporary tooth turned yellow I went back and the same lady laughed at me. Said we cant help. A dentist stopped in wen she say my frustration and polished it. So now I went back to the appointments to complete implant after memorial weekend she greeted me with " did u eat alot of curry" wat does that mean. Crazy rite. Then I asked can I pay a part of my balcne of $250 and pay $100 next week she quickly shut it down , I asked who can help she got the Miss Stephanie who sits in the office and just collect money. She came out and said I can reschedule but I need to pay the full balnce. I just did . Iwas just over this place. Service is so so so bad I will never go back there. Disappointed.

She is up to date on modern technology, gives good dental advice and encourages me to take special care of my gums and teeth. On my most recent visit I referred my Access-a-ride driver and passenger to this establishment because they are not happy with their dentists.

Negative experience: The experience has always been excellent but this time it was different. The attention to details and efficiency was not present. On my last visit I literally had to ask twice for the to go bag with the toothbrush and paste and was told they ran out it’s the little things and they don’t have it anymore.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shapiro has been my dentist for many years. I fear going to the dentist, but Dr Shapiro is the best dentist that I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable with an added kind and caring manner that makes you feel very comfortable. He takes his time and checks in with you during to procedure to make sure that you are feeling okay. I shudder with the thought that one day he will retire. He is a wonderful “Unicorn”, in today’s field of dentistry. Yesterday Dec. 2025, I had a root canal on a tooth that I really needed to save to anchor my flipper (artificial tooth). Dr Shapiro coordinated with Dr. Davidson (Endodontist), to make sure that the anchor tooth shape, after the procedure would still fit my flipper. All went well. Dr. Davidson kept me calm as he talked me through the root canal and moved swiftly. Our teeth and our ability to chew in comfort is at least 75% of having a good life especially in our Senior years. Thank you to the owners and administrators of Green Acres Dental for recognizing the A++ ability when hiring both Dr Shapiro and Dr. Davidson.

Positive experience: See something say something, Today is my first visit to this center. Everyone did an excellent job in a professional way x-ray & clanging too. Besides, Dr. Zafer job was not satisfactory. Fact, she just came & said let me see your mouth & just rub roughly over my teeth by one of her dental tools & say you need to take out the wisdom teeth, our surgeon is here today, he only works Wednesday. Where I have more pain and problems, I am trying to tell her did not focus………...! Sad!

I was filled with anxiety, not knowing what to expect, and the surgeon that did the removal of the wisdom tooth was amazing. I barely felt anything great job. !!!! Negative experience: This has been my provider for many years. However my issue is not with the Dentist it’s the office staff. I went in for an emergency. Was tended to almost immediately. As the procedure was about to begin , payment was demanded . I do have coverage however was not informed of additional cost. In a very vulnerable state I had no choice but to pay this unexpected expense. Informing the patient in a timely manner is important. I was told what my insurance was willing to pay was not enough and could go to another provider. At that juncture I had no choice. Just be mindful of any unexpected expenses. It’s about the $ not care for the patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. ZAFAR is my dentist & she always gives good advice. She recommended Dr.Davidson for a root canal that I desperately needed. Dr. Davidson was comforting if you had any fears & went right to work explaining everything as he went along . I did not have any pain & hopefully it all heals well. Thank you ..

Negative experience: 2024 - This is the most unprofessional dental office ever. I will never go there again . The front desk are all brown and unfortunately have to work at this inconsiderate office which obviously doesn’t give customer service training. My husband went there a year ago and said he would never go back. The front desk and hygienist were loud and laughing like they were at happy hour in a club. I had an appointment this afternoon arrived 8 min late. Was told all the hygienist went home. Too late to have my semiannual cleaning done. Rushing from work stuck in traffic arrived to hear ‘Sorry didn’t you cancel your appointment .” I even called this morning to confirm.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time at the office - me and my son both! The dentist was great! Very kind, detailed oriented with his explanations. The receptionists were great as well - and the hygienist - Gianna - was wonderful! She patient, took her time to explain to my son the “why” for great oral hygiene - which I thought was very impressive! The office is clean - well kept and very organized. You can tell they work as a team - and I am certain that their management team is top notch. If I can give 10 starts for today’s service I received today - I will. I had one issue that I would like to make mention - so assistants can be trained - HIPAA. My face sheet was placed in a bin near the door. I noticed that my personal information was visible to any patient walking by. I immediately saw it and turn it around. A few mins later - an older woman - appears (Indian) walked by yo empty the bin - looked at my document and again turned it around making my personal information visible. In her presence - I did let her know - nicely - that it’s a HIPAA violation - and turned the face sheet with my details - inwards. She appeared to be disturbed by that - which was a huge red flag. The same person in question - went to the sick in the exam room - put a gloves on - and took the items that needed to be autoclaved in her hands - and left the room - creating a dripping effect - as she took it to another room. The hat too was another red flag - as items such as those - should be carried in a small bin too its rightful location. That said - I think staff should receive additional training on those highlights - as it is crucial that certain protocols surrounding HIPAA and sterilization - including transporting of instruments - should be followed at all times. That said - these were the only items viewed as opportunities for improvements. Looking forward to my 6 month check up. -:)

Negative experience: Where do I even start? I’ve had active insurance since April 2024, went in for a visit in August 2024, and somehow, miraculously, they decided I wasn’t covered. Then, just for kicks, they sent me a bill in March 2025. I double-checked my calendar—April does, in fact, come before August. The billing process felt like a poorly written sitcom, and trying to get answers? Even funnier. If you like surprises, confusion, and chasing your own paperwork like a game show, this is the place for you. Otherwise… look literally anywhere else. I beg

Positive experience: I was very disappointed with my visit on 8/25/25. I noticed most of the workers that have been there over the years, were no longer there. The girl who was taking my Xray, did not know what she was doing. Another seasoned staff who seemed like she was supervising her came in the room to see how she was doing. That's when l made a sign to her to do my Xray instead, which she did. The hygienist who was a guy, was a bit too talkative. It was just one big mess.

Positive experience: I had my dental work done this weekend, they had done a great job however, in every facility appearance matters. There is a guy that works in this facility, the way he presents himself is horrible. When I saw him walking in, I honestly thought he wasn’t part of the staff. He came with a scarf on his head and a cap sideways on top of his scarf with his strange outfit. Come on… it’s a healthcare facility. A minute later I saw him calling a patient and the way he called the patient was very unprofessional. “ I don’t how to call this” started with a spelling and he spelled it wrong. And the patient and him started arguing. Please I hope they straighten up this guy.

Negative experience: I was charged 115 for a filling and x-rays but I wasn’t informed until I was online for my next appointment. I had sticker shock. If the next appointment is not favorable I will not return. I already spoke to Cigna.

Negative experience: Customer Service is poor, they assumed I was going to sign documents without explanation, and the lady at the front desk is not courteous at all, straight stinky attitude. The procedure went good.

Negative experience: I have been going to Green Acres Dental for several years. Service was generally good. On my previous visit (July 2024) and this last visit on July 11, I noticed some changes in service. The July 11 visit was for a general check up which includes a cleaning by the periodontist due to sensitivity. X-rays were taken. The periodontist cleaned a few teeth on the bottom, polished some teeth and informed me that I needed to have two teeth extracted. "Make an appointment with the oral surgeon" was the suggestion. These two teeth had root canals some years ago. When I asked the periodontist why he did not do the usual cleaning, he informed me that I did not need it. I do not agree as I can tell when I get a cleaning from the dentist. I feel service has decreased due to change in insurance. It would be more beneficial if I was asked to pay out of pocket rather than cheapen the service. Possibly time for me to find another dentist.

Positive experience: Front desk lady ( black lady) is not friendly even in answering calls. Arrogant lady. The x-ray lady, the cleaning tech( spanish lady) were very friendly and professional. The doctor dentist was so professional and explained the result of the x-ray very well and his recommendations were clear. Except for the front desk lady my experience was so fantastic.

Negative experience: Called this place 3 weeks in advance to schedule an appointment to do a wisdom tooth removal. Got my scans sent over 2 weeks in advance. Called multiple times to confirm all is set with my appointment for the removal. (Over 3 times I called to ensure I was good and I was set to come in and do the removal). I was advised the "Oral Surgeon" does not come in until Wednesdays. I said ok ill go ahead and still book. Took time off from work and drove there 2 hrs away just for them to say they cannot do the removal. The doctor did not review my scans prior to me coming. When I asked if this is not a Oral surgeon the lady said no hes just a regular dentist they can send me to an actual oral surgeon. They checked my scans FIVE MINUTES before the procedure. To add insult to injury, I get a call half hour after the scheduled appt that I never showed up for my appointment, mind you I showed up 30 minutes early for the appt. This place lacks communication, and I have never been more disappointed with service from a place that's supposed to provide medical assistance. I am perfectly fine if they say they are unable to assist. But had they called to inform me they cannot do the surgery I would have been ok. But no, wait literally 5 minutes before my procedure to look at scans that were sent 2 weeks prior.

Fantastic experience: Staff provides excellent customer service to patients with special needs, such as myself as a patient who is visually impaired epic!. Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Very smooth and efficient intake process for new patients.. Staff send correspondences electronically, which allows me to zoom in so I can view each document clearly – sincerely appreciate it!
