Fantastic experience: I personally want to say a very big thank you to Erick for saving my life I have been going to this dentist for God knows how long and each time they fix my veneer it came off a soon as I got home is like I am at the dentist literally every week and I kept on telling them that my teeth is not properly fixed and today Erick I don’t know what he did but what I have been explaining for years he did it in less than a hour I really appreciate you keep up your good work and thank you again God bless you Erick.

Fantastic experience: I was going through tooth pain for so long. The doctor was so helpful and the staff to assist me with helping it and the best part? It happened in the same day I walked in. The procedure was quick and painless and now the road to recovery will begin. I truly want to express my thanks to the team of the dental clinic and I’ll be happy to come again if any issues persist. Negative experience: Terrible service and professionalism from time management on appointment to not answering calls you can’t even make an appointment and when you do if you go at 1pm you will be taken care of around 2 hours later for sure… find a new dentist this is one of those spots that just love charging $$ then to think about service and patients

Fantastic experience: The staff in this office does an amazing job at making you feel welcomed and comfortable. They took care of me from the moment I walked through the door.....they were patient and thorough with all the dental work I needed done. Shout out to Demetrius, Natalie and doctor Tilis. I 100% recommend this place. Edit: this place is under new management I believe the new manager name is babita... and although that assistants are still great she has an unbelievable level of unprofessionalism. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars here in the past but now thay will not be the case. She doesn't know how to talk to people or call them back. Im attaching how many times ive tried contacting the office just today. Ive even called the rockaway office to see if anyone can get in contact with me about the procedure im currently in the middle of and for the money they've already charged me. Why is it so hard to get someone to pick up a phone.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going there and the first thing i noticed was how clean the place was, smells wonderful and i love the location, Parking was easy for me to find. I have to say the dentist did an amazing job on my teeth. I did waited a bit longer than I anticipated but he made up for it on my teeth. I went to get a fill in and a clean the staff was very friendly and welcoming the dentist was very informative and answer all my questions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I don't recommend going there; I had a bad experience with them. I went to the clinic for a 1:00 appointment, but they didn't start until 6:00. When I asked the doctor why it was taking so long, he gave a very rude answer. As for the cleaning service, he just gave the place a quick scrub and that was it. I was so surprised when the office called me for more appointments; I never even went back.

Fantastic experience: This is being my dentist for almost 10 years now, and i have to say for the most part is a very pleasant experience, if i have to say something negative about it, is the fact that the waiting area is too small for the amount of people that normally gets there, i think that's a consistent issue that should be taken care of, but All in all everybody here is very professional and no matter how busy they are, they are always cordial and treat everybody with respect, and i can appreciate that. Btw shout out to Eddie thanks for the cleaning bro.

Negative experience: I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.2-star rating. They are completely unreliable and unprofessional — they rarely answer their phones and don’t seem to know what they’re doing. I truly regret ever bringing my son here for his braces. After a supposed “build-out” on one of his teeth, after his braces was removed. He ended up with a buck tooth after treatment — the exact opposite of what braces are meant to fix! The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else — I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. They one get a star because this is the only, I would be able to do a review of service.

Negative experience: This dentist is all about money they don’t put your claim through your insurance they want you to pay out of pocket. Beware! I know somethings you have to pay out of your pocket, but they want you to pay the whole thing out.My insurance stated that they would pay for my oral surgery at another dentist same procedure however Oral surgeon who was supposed to do my surgery was no longer with the company.I was referred to Smile Crafters and they tell me my insurance is not going to pay for this oral surgery. I even received a letter stating that it was approved from the insurance. Because this dentist is in different demographic they do-not care they just want money and the service is lousy. When you go there, you wait forever never enough dentists are there.

Negative experience: terrible customer service. They all look like they hate their jobs. The person that does the X-rays just wants to go home .. They just wanna take your money. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Negative experience: They never answer the phones! When you leave a message - good luck getting a reply. They pick and choose what they take your insurance for.... Basically, pulling the tooth and just cleanings. I don't understand how you take insurance for the simple things and your oral surgeons refuse to take that same insurance.. This dentist is horribly. ALWAYS a long wait. Wish I can give it a zero!

Negative experience: This practice deserves minus stars. My mother-in-law went there in December for a crack tooth. 3 months later she left with 2 root canals, months of pain, and eventually 2 teeth extracted. They take advantage of desperate people in the neighborhood...elderly, people in pain or people that don't know they are being taken advantage of . Even though they told her they accepted her insurance, conveniently they found something wrong with her tooth that wasn't covered by her insurance. They then told her of a company that she could take out a loan for $6000 to cover the work that "needed" to be done. The "office manager" Dimitri is a smooth talker and gets people to believe he is trying to help them. I got to know him after my mother-in-law kept complaining of pain and more and more work being done. I think the dentist messed up which caused 2 teeth to be removed. Once I started going with her they got scared because I was asking the right questions. They did give her back some money since they didn't do the original work of giving her a crown. Run....don't walk away from them.

Negative experience: I did not had a good experience, I'm sure they are great, but I had an appointment for 12:30 PM and I was just sitting there until 1:30 PM and I didn't even get to do the cleaning and it was just a regular cleaning so if it's somebody who's concerned about your time and appointment, maybe this is not the place.

Negative experience: They do not respect customers or appointment times. I made an appointment 3 times and each time we were forced to cancel and they don't even bother to apologize. They can let you wait for a long time and no one does the duty to come and explain anything.

Negative experience: ** Beware** This office is a scam. They claim to take insurance but insist on adding additional methods which are not covered by insurance and are not optional for the patient. For example, I was referred by the Smile Crafters office in St Albans to have an extraction in Cambria Heights. I came in to have one premolar removed. I did discuss using bone graft with the original office but no one in Cambria Heights discussed the medical plan with me. I arrived at 4:32pm for my 4:30 appointment. I waited in a room from 5pm until almost 7pm. I understand, things happen. I really just wanted to get my tooth removed and the bone graft placed. Once the dentist moved me to the room he actually performs procedures in, he told his biller to speak to me. She informed me the bone graft would be $1000. Why, IDK since I have insurance. I said okay so just remove the tooth. She said they could place a plug instead, for $500. I explained I've had teeth removed before and never had this issue. She said this is simply how their dentist prefers to do things. There was no mention of a medical requirement for me to pay out of pocket for their method of doing things. They didn't say I had bone loss - which is not normal for ONE TOOTH. You do not need a plug or a bone graft for ONE TOOTH unless you are planning for implantation. Someone should have discussed this ridiculous policy with me when I arrived for my appointment. Someone should have explained the medical necessity - of which there isn't one. This office is a money scam and I will strongly recommend avoiding them.

Negative experience: Smile Crafters in queens, Linden Blvd., is not a reliable dental office. Their main concern is their bottom line, not your oral care. They string you along to get as much money posdible over your healthcare. The patient is secondary, at a very expensive price tag. Buyer, beware!

Negative experience: Dimitri I guess is one of the managers, scheduled me to come back in to get a root canal and figure out my payment options since my insurance wasn’t goin to cover what needed to be done just for him not to be there and I’m not being given any other type of option to make the payments to get what I needs done. Now Only way I can do monthly payments is with “their” credit card from what they tried to have me apply for, rather than being able to use my own and if I use my own credit card I can’t do a payment plan I have to pay a lump some up front

Negative experience: Worst place to go to. During my first appointment they did all the x-rays and everything that they needed. When I came back from my actual appointment I sat there for over an hour wondering when my procedure would start. After an hour the Doctor finally came to speak with me telling me that it wouldn't be covered because it will be out of network. After calling my insurance they told me that the recommendation was never submitted to them. Meanwhile the doctor lied and said it was because it wouldn't be covered. When I called back the reception the receptionist just told me that they would submit the paperwork. I was told that they will be back to me to let me know when it will be approved but 2 months later I still haven't heard from them.

Negative experience: The receptionists are really rude both in person and over the phone. The building is dirty, has holes in the wall, no seat covering, overflowing garbage etc. Dentist was incredibly rude and judgmental, shamed me for having a root canal "at my age" and was very condescending. I don't know if she assumed I was a teenager but either way, it was uncomfortable the way she spoke to me.

Negative experience: SCAM ALERT! This place is a joke all they care about is money. Went there for an emergency, had some X-rays done and they bill my insurance for a cleaning which was never done. They referred me to the surgeon and when I got there they said it would cost me $9000 and tried to scare me into doing unnecessary work. Called my insurance and went somewhere else and paid $300 to have the work done.

Fantastic experience: Smile Crafters is one of the best dental office. I’ve been to in a while, very bright and clean environment, and the staff which included Dmitry Dr.Willner Gustavo, Melissa, Michelle, Yvette, and Erika were very attentive and professional. Fantastic experience: There are 2 locations, CAMBRIA HEIGHTS location, pulled my infected, broken molar tooth with no pain, that is the only dentist that will touch my mouth........ask what your insurance covers so you are not in shock of the costs depending on your situation. I have 1 of the top insurance coverage & even that doesn't cover everything, it's your teeth, i wish I came to this location long time ago, I wouldn't have the issues I am now having.

You come in with documents and expect them to put them in your chart and not only do they loose them but they don’t even put notes in your charts of what exactly occurred during that visit!!! How are you able to run an efficient business like that!!!! The worst and unacceptable for the line of business you are in!!!

Negative experience: My experince was terrible and unfair. The manager is only after money. He charge me for a procedure that I cancel for my daughter. My daugjter was supposed to receive braces and something else that he said cost $7000.I didnot have the money, but he told me I could applied for care credit. I did and it was approve. He then told me to sign a few paper, I didnt know that it was more that the credit approval I was signing for. After a week of getting the credit I recieve a credit card bill from carecredit witha balance of 7125. I was shock because my daughter didnt do the procedure as yet,except the manager had let us wait the same day the credit was approve for them to take picture inside her mouth. I was called a couple days after to bring her back because I was told something wasnot done right. I didnt take her back because after receiving the credit card bill and the montly payment I had to made.I realized that I am not going to manage this montly payment . I went back to him and told him to cancel the procedure,but only found out that I sign a contract and 4500 was going to be deducted from the 7000. I was very shock because this man didnt explain a thing to me,as I said before I thought I was signing for the credit card . I then asked him if he could waived the fee. He called his boss and like he was literally saying to the boss that I am accountable for the 4500. I donot know what his boss said to him ,but all I know that I have to pay 1500 dollar loan for a service that my daughter never receive.

Negative experience: Completely unorganized and inattentive. The first time I went they had me waiting in the exam room for 30minutes after my appointment had finished because the lady taking my information forgot she told me to wait for her to come back to speak to me. For my second appointment they took over an hour calling me and took another patient before me who was two hours early for his appointment. They also referred me to an oral surgeon and when I arrived he refused to do the procedure unless I opted for the more expensive care I was told I could come back another day when another surgeon was on shift who was less picky. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everyting was really good!! The staff was very kind to me and answer all my doubts, the procedure was ok, I found out that is a very good dental care.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to smile crafters for about 3 years now and when I tell you they are the best. I have recommended 5 family/friends to this locations and everyone’s experience was great. Recently I had a root canal done, and my anxiety was over the roof before I arrived but they assured me I would be fine an all in all it was really mind over matter and they took really good care of me. The staff is always friendly and they always hold it down for me even when I’m confused . When it comes to Demetri I can tell you he’s a down to earth guy and he always meets me to my level and I have Ntn but respect for him, he’s professional even if the energy is off he’s handle the situation the correct way. Thank you guys for being such a great dental office in our community!

Negative experience: This place, Smile Crafters in Cambria Heights, is a scam practicing unethical business practices. The dentist tells you what work you need and "the money guy" comess to tell you the cost. This guy from the specialists office next door tells you the work you need isn’t covered by your insurance and proceeds to try and convince you to enter a financing option before leaving the office. This is because 1 or more of the services they say you need may actually be covered by insurance and they don't want you to find that out before signing for financing. At leaat 3 things off the $23,000 total they gave me are actually covered. I was not offered a referral to someone who would take my insurance until I called to inform that my insurance actually covers some of the services needed. They just said their in house specialist doesn't take it, and they could refer me to someone, but its a bit far and Its a hassle to make the referral to someone I would choose. My major issue is that even though the other specialist is in another borough, I was never offered the option to not pay out of pocket until I called to complain. Another patient came in complaining that his dentures are covered by his insurance, and he was informed that they don't take insurance for dentures. He was mad because he was offered financing in house as well, but not informed he could go elsewhere that would take his insurance. That was the same thing done to me. So the specialist next door to them is profiting off of the omission of information to their patients. I've been informed that the specialist next door is also part of Smile Crafters. I told the receptionist that her complacency to the scam is just as bad as committing it herself. Day in and day out you guys direct the financing complaints next door knowing its wrong, because I know they had to have studied ethics in school. They are shaking hands with the specialist and everyone gets paid big cash and not the lower insurance rates. It is definitely an issue of ethics. Update… I called to inquire as to why I needed to see a specialist when root canals are usually done by a general dentist, and was mine a special case. I was informed that I needed to see an endodontist for my root canals and that endodontics wasn't covered by my insurance. They once again tried to shuffle me over to Dimitri to get me financed, and I ended the call. A quick call to my insurance informed me otherwise. I am furious that they are trying to hold me hostage and this broken tooth is scratching my tongue.

Negative experience: $500 Extra FEE For Zirconia Crown. These offices do a lot of illegal actions which are against the insurance agreements. Three times I Paid $200($600) extra for All Porcelain without metal which is weaker than what the insurance issues OR or Zocronia (They not even telling you what material they're using which is illegal. They just say "crown"). Now front desk is saying $500 extra out of pocket for Zirconia and $1000 for Emax. Yeah, okay. These dental offices are thievery like people do not understand insurance and cant see what costs what. Zirconia and Porcelain to Metal cost the same and if anything 50-100 difference. Doing way too much, but it tells and shows you alot about . . .

Negative experience: I’m sooooooo maddddd that I’m only coming here now to report what a terrible dentist office this is. Smile crafters in cambria heights queens deserve nothing but 000000 across the board. 2 years ago when I went to this dentist office for the first time, they were very pushy and seemed like all they cared about was money. They are in fact very unprofessional and I believe that their tools are dirty because I got a bad lip infection right after visiting them. Fast forward 2 years later (that’s how you know I didn’t want to go back there, took me 2 years), I go for a cleaning and to check the spaces between my teeth because I have braces on and I was supposed to get fill in for 2 small teeth that I have. Once again the staff were very rude and unprofessional, when cleaning my teeth they cut up my gums and were rough and told me my gums are just sensitive. The dentist entered a request for veneers and didn’t tell me anything until I got a letter saying one tooth was denied. Then I called for a month trying to get them to fix whatever code they used and I got the run around from them until finally the office manager rudely dismissed my issue said that I would have to come out of pocket. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE !! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS (especially black/brown). This place needs to be shut down !! I wish I could rate 0! Edit: I’m over here minding my business days after my dispute with these people and I miss a call from them out of the blue this morning. I’m thinking to myself what could they want because I have nothing else to say to them. Called back 3 times (always have to call 2/3 times before they answer) and when they finally picked up, it’s the office manager calling to tell me that my review was unfair. I laughed so hard on the phone and said so that’s why y’all calling me ? Lmaooooo! Y’all have time to call people about reviews but when I was trying to contact y’all for over a month about an issue, it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of someone. This dentist office is really a joke.

The wait is for your apt is ridiculous. I came for my 6 month cleaning the hygienist literally drowned me and when I told her of course she dont speak no English what so ever why would they have staff that can’t communicate?. The manager only care about the white patients sad smh do better.

Negative experience: My entire experience with Smile Crafters in the Cambria Heights location has been an unpleasant one. 0/10 DO NOT Recommend! Receptionist are rude & short with patients. Clinical staff is too preoccupied with their phones holding personal conversations thru airpods to assist pts in a professional manner. Dental Hygienist will get more water on your clothes than your teeth during your routine cleaning. X-Ray's aren't interpreted correctly & Patient's files are easily lost/mishandled. If you can get Dr. Willner in the room with you long enough for him to give you a full & proper visit consider yourself lucky. He has a history giving rushed visits and overlooking critical information in the process. The office Manager Dimtry has zero bedside manner and is the most unprofessional employee there, he mishandled my clinical record and has violated my HIPPA rights. When servicing Black/Brown communities we should be offered better!! If looking for a local dentist where everyone is respectful and professional look elsewhere.

Positive experience: Spoke with a receptionist today at 11:00 am who was extremely rude and disrespectful on top of this business being unprofessional I would never recommend anyone coming here

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency where I was having pain, and my BF Mike took me there. A Female name Danielle at the front desk was very accommodating and slid me in for 5:30pm. I saw a doctor with a name staring with a T (can't remember) who was able access the problem and recommended a root canal. I was sent off with some antibiotics and pain meds. If it wasn't for Danielle sliding in last minute, I would still be enduring this uncomfortable pain. I will be back next week to start the RC treatment. Thank You.

The office manager Demetrius is helpful and a master negotiator for the best financial situation for the patients. Dr. Moor and Dr. Tilis are absolutely phenomenal! They both are approachable, answer your questions, explain in detail and don’t rush through their responses. They treat you with respect and care. I actually look forward to my appointments as I know and am comfortable with the outcome of my visits.

Fantastic experience: I want to start off by stating the obvious, nobody likes going to dentists but I had to write a review on this place. Some time ago I had the worse toothache I've ever experienced and my face was really swollen on one side so after calling a few dentists in my network, that didn't help me at all and after suffering for almost a week I came across Smile Crafters searching online and there I was literally saved. I remember as if it were yesterday. The front desk ladies Danielle and Melissa are the first faces I saw, they were attentive but more importantly they were pretty helpful after I told them it was an emergency which I'm sure they saw for themselves and now I been going there ever since. Also I want to acknowledge the manager Dimitri and the staff in the back cause at the end of the day to be successful takes a team effort. I would definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: Nasty and unprofessional staff. Please find yourself a different office. I scheduled a first time appointment for 28th of October, the nasty individual who does front desk scheduling put it for October 31st. When I addressed her on that, she said it’s already done what are you going to do about that because I won’t stay on then phone with you and slammed the phone. The appointment was for my friend. They want us to support black own businesses in our neighborhood but only in such neighborhood they would tolerate nasty things like that female that answered. The service isn’t free so please go elsewhere for your money. I don’t tolerate such behavior from any business. I went to a dentist myself in bayside and the treatment was surreal. I asked that nasty thing to send me the paperwork via email because the patient doesn’t speak English, she said she has to come and pick up the paperwork because our office do not email but yet on the form it requested the patient email. I thought the office didn’t use email? This is 2022 what business doesn’t use email. I called yesterday to pick to up the forms as she suggested and called again and left a voice message stating that I found it unusual no one called to confirm to please call back as soon this office open, no one called back. Two opportunities came up to identify the mistake and no one picked up. The name of the nasty lady is Danielle, at least that what she called herself. I called back and asked, were you the the person who slammed the phone on my face she replied with great joy “ YES I WAS OH YES”. I wonder what her relationship is with the business owner because she’s a disadvantage for the practice . She need to consider becoming a correctional officer. She won’t get far in life, she will always remain a secretary at that office.

Negative experience: Set an appointment and when i call back to reschedule they said i wasn’t even in the system. No clue where the lady i talked to put my information. Good thing i had to reschedule or i would’ve showed up just to find out i wasn’t even put into the system

Fantastic experience: Dr Tilis and his assistant Natalie are absolutely phenomenal. This is hands down the most welcoming dental office I have been too, Dimitry and the rest of the staff are amazing . This dental office has become the new family dentist. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sam placed 4 implants in my mouth and dmitry the finance manager helped faliciate my dental treatment. Negative experience: Dishonest place that will tell you one thing then do another. Went there to have approved work that was covered by my insurance only to have the wrong dentist listed on the documents submitted to my insurance. Call numerous times only to have the receptionist be rude and deceptive claiming either the office manager DEMETRIUS was either not there or will not discuss there error over the telephone. Eventually I was able to speak to him directly only to have him lie to me claiming to have submitted the correct info to the insurance company but once again this was a lie....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

Negative experience: becareful people !!! about their any kinds of contract which is not covered by insurance !! they tell you one price and after some days they asked you which would be unbelievable for you !!! say example: they asked for you $4000 for two sitting for complete the work. then they take your $3000 dollars take for your 1st sitting & for convince they will tell you $1000 you will give them on 2nd sitting. when you will go for 2nd sitting they will tell ; you need some more work for your teeth & price will be very much different which is really unbelievable !! people are there especially Dmitry & Kia are two faces!! one of receptionist attitude is also very rude & I just forgot her name! my suggestion please don't go there!!

Negative experience: If you need surgery get a second opinion elsewhere. They try to force you to get PRP procedure done and state that your insurance doesn’t cover it. They use a scare tactic and tell you that you can choose to not do it but it will affect the nerve. I was told to do the PRP procedure because it was so called risky to remove my wisdom teeth and guess what, they were telling someone the same story in the next room. I told the office manager that I was not paying out of pocket for this procedure since my insurance didn’t cover it and he offered the installment payment plan to cover it. Also, he came up with the quote for the procedure on the spot by jotting down some numbers on a paper and it was a pretty hefty number around $4,000 to be exact. It’s sad that these people are preying on minority communities like this and some people don’t know when to walk away because they trust these so called medical professionals. The conclusion is, go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Hygienist was too aggressive during the cleaning process, afterwards the dentist dropped in for 30 seconds. Looked at my X-rays and informed me that I have two broken teeth, which was a surprise to me because I never had a broken tooth in my life. Later they figured out that she was looking at the wrong patients X-ray. After pulling up my correct X-ray, the doctor failed to comment on it and did not inform me if it looks normal or otherwise. Furthermore, I was there due to a food trap issue with my left lower wisdom tooth. Doctor did not bother taking a look at it and left the room. I was asked to have my tooth removed by the office manager, who is not a dentist. Additionally, The dentist was doing a procedure in the room next to me, she left the procedure saw me for 30 seconds and went back to doing the procedure. This is bad patient care for me and the patient getting the procedure. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this office. They ignored my actual issue which is causing me pain and discomfort. First thing I did after coming home is removed them as my primary care provider. I’ll research and find a better dentist and I recommend that you do the same.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dental office! The front desk and doctors are so professional. In particular, David the hygienist is so thorough and gave me such an amazing dental cleaning. I was very nervous but david made me very comfortable. The best cleaning ive ever had.

Negative experience: Do not go here!!!! One word, terrible!!!! Dentist has a terrible attitude and can be extremely rude. Support staff dealing with insurance and getting pre approvals is incompetent. It took weeks to get approval for work on my tooth because they submitted incorrect information several times, causing the request to be denied several times. Because of the delay in treatment I actually developed a bigger problem that would have been avoided if the work had been approved on time. Very true story. Overall this is the worst dental office I have ever been to . if I had the time to pursue a law suit I would and it's my strong belief that they should lose their license to practice dentistry.
