Fantastic experience: Dr Mantel and Dr Hennessy are excellent in their practice, their chair side manner, and truly want their patients to be comfortable and happy. Their staff are all kind, personable and after years here, it feels like I am coming to see friends. Getting dental work is nobody’s idea of FUN, but they definitely make it a nicer experience. The technology used is state of the art and the end result is perfect! Thank you!

Negative experience: I attempted to become a new patient, however when I called and Lainey answered, she asked if I had PPO or HMO, I have no clue, It isn't printed on my card anywhere, I asked her if she could verify for me and she replied that I needed to figure it out on my own... WOW, unbelievable how unwilling she was to assist, then calls back after I hung up to let me know the insurance person in the office can verify for me, too late lady, I'll find somewhere else to go...

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE. Left this practice after their fraudulent billing practices. They will send you surprise bills via email years after you got work done and were told by staff members your account is paid off. Ongoing filings against this office are in process. Additionally, when I explained to the Melissa (billing specialist) that the girls in reception had told me years ago that my bill was already paid off, and the surprise bill over a year later is why they lost me as a patient, they were not concerned about rectifying any business relations but simply put that they insisted I pay the outstanding amount. Naturally, because that's the real heart of fraudulent business practices, and not what a real family-owned business operates like. Spend your money elsewhere, where you won't be lied to, frauded, and disrfraudulent, as a patient.

Dr. Soro is always on time, upbeat, and very comprehensive in his exam and review of X-Rays! He shows you the X-Rays and points out areas of concern making it easy to understand and, in turn, then to decide on next moves. He and his staff are honest, efficient, and transparent in what they do. Parking is easy, the waiting room is airy and clean, and check out is a breeze. Fantastic experience: I’m like a snowbird between NY and FL and actually trust all my dental care to a practice in Boca Raton. I just spent most of the summer down there and I highly recommend East Boca Dental. Dr. George is the best! He explains things thoroughly to me, is gentle, and meticulous. Over the many years I’ve had root canals there, and he recently even fixed a chipped tooth to look like new and natural! I get my routine cleanings there, doesn’t matter which hygenist, all of them are really great, Adriana, Shana etc.. And even though I never have to wait long, the office is quite comfortable and beautiful, and staff are pleasant, I highly recommend! Quality matters

Growing up I hated going to the dentist/doctor because I felt like they never listened or cared, but this place 100% changed my opinion. Every person I came into contact with- from the front desk lady to the dentist (Dr. Mantle?) was so nice and caring. 4 different staff members welcomed me in for my first visit and thanked me for choosing their office. Melissa the hygienist was extremely thorough and took the time to explain everything she was doing, wasn't harsh and showed me things I could do to help my teeth. For once i'm actually looking forward to going back to the dentist!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to East Boca Dental for about 3 years now and have always had a great experience. They always take me timely and I never have to wait past my appointment time. My hygienist Melissa is very personable and makes me comfortable during my cleanings. My dentist Dr. Mantel is also timely and very personable. Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with this dental office and all of the employees I have come in contact with from the front desk to the hygenist and Dentists. I have had to have several procedures from root canals to a implant and I am so happy with the care and the results. Kudos especially to Dr. Hennessy who performed the surgeries and the implant. A big process and procedure that he made look easy. Love the results. Dr Peterson is caring, patient and talented. He has great bedside manner and keeps you feeling safe and cared for. I can't say enough good things about the practice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

Fantastic experience: I don't know anyone that "likes" going to the dentist, but I was pleasantly surprised with East Boca Dental. I had a bit of a dental emergency and called yesterday. The girl that answered the phone was friendly and said they could take me in that day - however I had a conflict with that day so I ended up going today. I felt like I was in great hands with Dr. Peterson. He's personable, honest and fair. In addition he was able to save my tooth that I thought I was going to have to get extracted. He is my hero! The whole staff was super nice and I would recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to give East Boca Dental a chance. You won't regret it.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place. They live by the policy “the office manager is always right.” They bill for you unexpected charges after giving them a lot of money in services provided. I have over $3000 in two caps I need to be replaced but they rather try to tack on a small $28 fee to a cleaning that is supposed to be covered by my insurance and lose my business than make over $3,000. Also, their periodontist, Dr. Hennessey tried to get my wife to do a $25,000 gum restoration surgery saying she would lose all her all teeth within a few years without it. He also gave me a doomsday report on one of my teeth which after seeing other periodontists, showed his assessment to be fabricated for me and my wife to scare us into giving him business. My wife still hasn’t gotten the surgery which is a few thousand dollars (not $25,000) and her teeth and gums are in pretty good shape. Do not trust East Boca Dental.

Fantastic experience: I very rarely make reviews but felt compelled to write one today about my amazing experience at East Boca Dental. I’ve had a few bad experiences recently and needed a new dentist, and a new endodontist for a root canal. I called this morning, the receptionist was very pleasant and kind. She got me in right away. The treatment plan coordinator, Shawn was great. Dr. Hartman was amazing! A real gentle touch and he kept giving me updates on what he was doing and checking in on me about pain (there was none). Then I went to Dr. Mantel then put in the permanent filling and the finishing work. He was very thorough and made sure my bite was proper. Both Dr. Hartman and Dr. Mantel have great chair side manners. I have no hesitation recommending this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: I am the largest critic of Dentists in general. Unfortunately, there are quite a few really bad Dentists out there and only a handful of good Dentists. With that said, I am very pleased with East Boca Dental and my Dentist, Dr. George Soropoulus. I came to East Boca Dental after experiencing yet another bad Dentist for my smile makeover. He has a wonderful bedside manner and was extremely patient with me. In very few appointments, I finally got my new smile and I feel beautiful. I also wish to extend my compliment to Shawn, the Treatment Coordinator, who is an absolute sweetheart. Everyone at East Boca Dentist is kind and understanding. My only tiny complaint, don't have the employees wear cologne. Personal space is extremely close and I am allergic. Keep up the good work East Boca Dental:)

Fantastic experience: Five star experience at East Boca Dental with Dr. Mantel and his amazing team. I’ve been seeing them for regular cleanings and finally decided to take improving my smile a step further with crowns to replace very old bonding on two of my upper teeth. From the first consultation to the delivery of the crowns Dr. Mantel and his whole team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, kindness and extraordinary results. They explained every step, accommodated my schedule and made sure I was 100% happy with my final product. Could not recommend them enough if you’re looking for a practice, doctor and techs that truly care. 10/10!

Negative experience: Be very careful. This is the worst dental group. I was getting two implants done, they hit a nerve while doing so, gave me prednisone, which I had discussed I was pre-diabetic. That is a drug I was not to take but did not know that. They gave it to me. I took it and found myself throwing up for 3 hours, rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and I was told I was in acute kidney failure. They knew my condition. They are the worst. Then their obnoxious blonde book keeper kept telling me I owed more and more money. Every time I went there I would question what she was saying to me. This was after I was telling everyone about what happened to be re: being rushed to the hospital. She said to me every time I came in there I questioned them about my bill… she is slick….when I contacted my insurance company, all of a sudden I got a check for 1200. I did not owe them anything. Be careful!!!!!.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to East Boca Dental for the past 5 years. I left my previous dentist because the hygienist was pushy and always trying to sell me something I didn’t want. A friend recommended East Boca Dental where I found Melissa, a wonderful hygienist and really kind person. My teeth have never felt cleaner or looked better. Melissa does a thorough job but is gentle and constantly asks if I’m ok. When I first went I found out that I had gaps and “pockets”, something I had not been told about previously. My gums were not in great shape, but now, with the new techniques they gave me and excellent care, they are really good now! I am so happy to have found Melissa and this dental practice. My dentist is Dr. George and he is great, too. He is always so concerned and has such a light touch, making dental work so much easier. I have had old fillings replaced and gotten 2 crowns, and Dr. George did a great job. A big plus is that everyone in the office is really nice, making for a comfortable environment. Mary, in the back office, is always so upbeat and friendly. She is the one I spoke with the very first time I called, and she set me at ease from the beginning. The office is beautifully decorated with artwork, and I look forward to the walk down the hall to check it out. A lovely touch! I am so happy with my treatment there, and wanted to give them a shout out.

I have sensitive teeth and this is the only dentist I’ve been to where the hygienist takes the time to add a little numbing paste to make the experience less painful. Fantastic experience: Dr. Margarita Vasserman is a vastly more skilled dentist than anyone I've been to in the past. The office is super clean, fast, and the girls at the front desk are actually pleasant. Not done with treatment but a 5 Star experience so far

Negative experience: I am giving a low score as I left the office very unsatisfied. I took my mother 74 years old to this place based on reviews, the dentist was very nice and polite however the denture they produced was with a very low quality. In less than 6 months it broke down twice. When we went back to have the dentures redone they wanted to charge full price again $1650 dollars. I left the office very upset as my mother does not have the money to pay again for the cost of a new denture. The worst when I asked them to check how much her insurance would cover, they told me they don't take my mother's insurance The least they could do was to make a new one free of cost for all the back and forth we had. Worst dental service I experienced in Florida.

Positive experience: Clean and modern office with amazing hygienists, dentists and overall staff. They need help with hiring orthodontists as I had a questionable experience with the one on staff (no longer there) who made some terrible recommendations for me. Mary and the other admins are overall very accommodating and lovely. Stephanie has a horrible attitude and lack of customer service. The procedure they follow with ensuring that your insurance is on file and active needs to be reassessed. Insurance needs to be confirmed prior to work being done. No one wants to pay out of pocket by surprise and then have to wait weeks to be reimbursed and have to follow up since there is a lack of follow through on the part of the practice. Overall, there is room for improvement.

Negative experience: I had a “small” cavity filled and The next day started having pain when I ate or drank cold drinks. I called and was told the nerve may be irritated and it would calm down. I had this pain for a week before I called back again and insisted on an appointment. He filed my tooth down. Week goes by, I still have the pain (which I didn’t have before he filled the cavity) and long story short, I took off work and went back six times before giving up and finding a different dentist. He told me it was just my tooth’s anatomy and that’s all that could be done.

Fantastic experience: I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this practice is. The first time I came to see Dr. Mantel and Joanna I was heavily pregnant and in need of a root canal and crown. They took wonderful care of me and made sure I was safe and comfortable through it all. Now, two years later, I’m in for more work and it’s been just as smooth. Dr. Mantel and Joanna are so kind, so professional and they really have you feeling happy with your mouth when you leave. I wish I had found them sooner. Also, Dr Hennessy and his amazing assistant took the best care of me while I had gum surgery. Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: Ever since I can remember I have had anxiety about going to the dentist, even for a basic cleaning I get nervous. Today, for the first time, I am able to say that my dental appointment was EASY and PAINLESS. Dr. David Mantel, DDS, is the perfect dentist: competent and gentle, as well as patient. I have had issues with my teeth for years and have never come across a dentist who was willing to actually spend time with me after the procedure to discuss what I can do to prevent any further issues from arising. Joann, the dental hygienist, also deserves recognition, for being so professional and calming. After my appointment this morning with Dr. Mantel, I no longer fear my next appointment. Fantastic experience: Dr. Mantel at East Boca Dental was amazing! As someone who is scared of the dentist, Dr. Mantel made me feel extremely comfortable. He is honest, confident, has great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable and thorough. He takes the time to explain to you what his plan is and treats everyone like family. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I went to them for a toothache and they recommended that they drill out an old crown. They found a little infection and "cleaned" it out. After 2 days the pain was worse. I went back to have them look at it and they said that there was nothing they could do for me, I need to go to an oral surgeon. I ended up having to go to the hospital with a very bad infection for 3 weeks. I will never go back to them again.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had some cavities filled by Dr. Mantel and she stated it was one of the best visit she’s ever had! He was very gentle and kind. The whole staff is welcoming when you walk in the door and they took her back right away! She said she can’t wait to go back at the end of the month! Good Job East Boca Dental on a job well done!
