Fantastic experience: Great service and amazing working crew

Fantastic experience: It was my first time here and it’s a bit nervous when you go to a new dentist. When I walked in the lady in the front welcomed me and checked me in. It was very clean and welcoming. The staff were amazing and the dentist God bless him. They were all understanding of my situation and helping me out. I have my next appointment next week so I will post an update but for my first time it was a great experience!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Heroes Dental. Dr. Lopez was amazing ! My son’s treatment was explained very well. All the staff was welcoming. Over all the experience was amazing.

Negative experience: Will only accept your insurance if you have two dental insurances. I have one dental insurance company who is amazing and covers kids under 14 at 100% however here at Hero’s they will only accept you if you have two forms of dental insurances.

Negative experience: Last appt has been cancelled by them twice and it's delayed from original appt in May to New appt on July. I guess they believe we can reschedule our days to their convenience

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Heroes Dental. My little guy loves playing the video games prior to being seen. The staff is always patient and friendly with him as well. This makes the entire process more enjoyable for a child with anxiety. I also love the Bible verses mixed in with the decor. A reminder that God put us exactly where we need to be. Thank you for the great visit today.

Fantastic experience: The ortho team have been awesome, everyone is very nice the Dr answers all my questions and keeps me to date on my daughter progression with her braces. Thank you On the appointment today 2/13/2024 everything was smooth came out very quick everything was great. I never have problems with the team in ortho thank you very much. Today’s appointment went awesome my daughter got her braces put back on never had problems with the ortho team everything and always goes smooth all questions answered On appointment 06/06/2025 my son has seen the Doctor and his assistant they were very professional and the appointment went very smoothly and quickly. Shout out to everyone in the office!!!

Negative experience: Have had been doing deep cleaning maintenance with them for 2 years, today went in for it for $$ amount to be paid, told that I need x-rays for double amount Lady that that takes payment VERY RUDE stated that I need x-ray and that I needed it that I have to pay it. Just lost 2 customers. Everytime I am their always pushing products. $$$$$$$$$$$$. All they want is Money.

Negative experience: While trying to schedule an initial appointment, the office staff sends me a follow up text message telling me that my spouse is not on my insurance. I called in and found out that they were looking at my medical policy instead of my dental policy and then the woman on the phone starts yelling at me! Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Definitely going to be looking for a different dental practice for my family.

Negative experience: I just started my braces treatment and I'm already unhappy with the service. The appointments get canceled last minute. I get told I'm getting something done so I ask time off from work to attend my appointment only to have the procedure get pushed back again. I fear I should've have done way more research before getting braces here. I was so excited but now I'm just dissatisfied.

Negative experience: Appt for implant was cancelled twice. Scheduling for a implant dentist from. San Antonio caused me to put off procedure indefinitely.

Negative experience: I called in advance to check and make sure they took my insurance coverage and they told me yes over the phone so I set up an appointment and asked for the day off from work. I later come to find out that the receptionist who answered the phone lied and wasted my time and wasted one of my few days off I can request from work. I honestly don’t recommend this dentist office. Save your time and energy and go else where and if I can give 0 stars I would

Fantastic experience: Everyone is welcoming and accommodating. Dr. Veray is our preferred dentist, and we have been under his care for over a decade. He consistently takes the time to explain the procedures and their rationale. *His* hygienists are exceptional, and the office staff is consistently excellent. The spotless environment is the icing on the cake.

Negative experience: This place is only good for cleanings and check ups! DO NOT COME GET ANY SURGICAL PROCEDURES DONE HERE… GO WITH A SPECIALIST. They seem to have very little knowledge of how to handle an on going infection… ALL I DID WAS WASTE MY TIME COMING BACK AND FOURTH WHEN THEY COULD'VE SENT HIM ELSEWHERE SOONER. Shame on them. But collecting payments to be seen and given the same outcome is ok?! Nah.

Negative experience: Terrible Service !! Appointment at 8am didn't get called in till 8:20 took them 1 1/2 to start the cleaning which took about 15 minutes walked out of there at around 10:15 M Process needs to speed up and being seeing by different people don't help!! They should schedule you with your same drs

Negative experience: Heroes dental does not care about their patients time in the least. I kept trying them to see if things would be different the next time but every time I went back it would be 1+ hour wait. The last straw was when I tried to take my 3 year old in for her first appointment. She was excited to be there at first but after waiting for an hour, she was overwhelmed and tired which resulted in an awful first experience. As long as patients continue to accept this type of treatment, they'll keep treating us this way. This is completely unacceptable, the 15 minute late policy has to go both ways!
