Fantastic experience: After a very disappointing experience with a another difference I've finally found the best in dental care & customer service downtown Silver Spring can offer. From the initial new patient call to the very welcoming environment at the first appointment to the personal care & engagement by Dr. Ally, for the cleaning I was blown away. The office is exceptionally well designed, very clean, modern & well designed clean with spacious patient rooms with windows & a TV. They are attentive to your needs & genuinely strive to make you feel comfortable even for patients with dental anxiety. I was offered a stress ball upon check in. Didn't even have to ask! Normally a dental assistant does the cleaning but to my surprise Dr. Ally actually does the initial cleaning in order to get familiar & build rapport. I sincerely enjoyed meeting him. Lastly, they are totally transparent about billing so I am totally confident I will not experience the questionable billing practices as I had previously. Choice Dental from front staff to the chair are professional, top notch & just the best.

Fantastic experience: For reference, I am a 27-year-old young adult male, pilot, and business owner, and improving my smile is very important to me! I’ve been to over five different dental offices for consultations in Bethesda and Rockville and have never had a really positive experience. I took a chance on this highly reviewed office in Silver Spring, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Ally and his staff are amazing. The team is incredibly professional, polite, kind, and always patient. Honestly, I’ve hated going to the dentist for years because appointments always felt rushed, and I never felt truly heard or felt they cared about me understanding my treatment needs or questions. Dr. Ally removed all four of my wisdom teeth, completed some fillings, and took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plan for Invisalign and a dental implant. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going to the dentist and feel informed and confident about my care and future smile. I also noticed how well Dr. Ally treats his staff and how much time he takes to genuinely get to know his patients. I have alot of respect for Dr. Ally. You won’t regret coming here. The office is easy to access, clean, and cozy. I feel great about my experience so far! If your a young adult and on the fence about spending your hard earned money at a dentist office just to experience bad treatment. Choose Choice Dental Care! I promise you won't regret coming here!

Negative experience: They are supposed to be open until 7pm, according to their website. When I called to try to make an appointment, the voicemail said that they are closed. Odd.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience with Choice Dental Care. From the first phone call to my first day, everyone has been super friendly. The girl who took my X-rays made me feel comfortable. Dr. Ally is very friendly and explains everything clearly. He even showed me their technology, which was really cool and felt very new. Adriana was also great and helped me through the whole process of getting my crown. The whole staff has been helpful, and the front desk especially helped me with my financials, which I really appreciate.

Negative experience: Both my husband and I went to Dr. Ally for over 4 years. The prices are good and the staff are friendly. Overall we got good care except for the crowns. We both had crowns put in that kept on falling. My husband’s crown fell at least 4 times. His breath was also funky which was surprising because he didn’t have cavities. The last time it fell he went to our new dentist who said he has bacteria that got in the base tooth under the crown. Luckily he can save his tooth I have the same problem but now need an implant. Although I liked the front desk staff I can’t recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Had a really great experience at Choice Dental in Silver Spring. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, and after not having insurance for a couple years, I was honestly nervous. Dr. Ally and his assistant Adrianna did such a great job on my crowns — super patient, detailed, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Shoutout to Esther at the front — she was on it with helping me get financing figured out, no hassle, no judgment. The whole team there is kind and professional. I walked out feeling like myself again, smile and all. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dentist who gets it.

As a spoken word poet I hadn’t read/performed (or smiled with my mouth open) for more than a year due to damage to my front teeth from an incident. I came in anxious-having been treated less than kind by previous dentists. Dr. Ally erased all fears. He is kind, gentle, professional and was reassuring through my nervous tears. I’m happy to be smiling and back on the mic confidently again thanks to Dr. Ally and his staff. I highly recommend Choice Dental for whatever your needs may be. EDIT: I recently relocated to PA and live in an area that is not diverse nor supportive of “others”. The 3.5 hour drive for this kind of care is well worth it.

I was in so much pain and Dr. Ally answered his personal phone to schedule an appointment for me. They did my deep cleaning and continued to follow up over the phone or in person follow ups. Esther is top tier in making sure everything with billing and scheduling goes well. I haven’t had this good of a dentist office experience since I was a child. Then the location change was well deserved the old office was spotless but the new office is so prestigious it matches the quality of service you’ll receive from this team.

Fantastic experience: Welcoming staff, pristine new office on 1010 Wayne Ave. I like they have TVs to watch shows while you’re getting your dental work done. The doctor did my dental cleaning, which I find really nice. Great bedside manner which is a must for me! Parking is accessible right across the street. They were very clear and on point with what I needed to get done aka “no hidden fees”. Very happy with their services. I think I just have found my new dentist from now on! :)
