Gentle Dental Redmond Oregon

Negative experience: I set dental appointments 4 months out and took time off of work. The night prior my appointment was canceled by the team. My wife was able to reschedule for a few days later but I had work and could not. Since then, my wife receives bills despite constantly reminding them of our insurance. We have an issue every single time we have to interact with them. The absolute worst experience I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about these folks (and, if you read my other reviews, you know that's not my default setting). Everyone I've interacted with has been absolutely lovely and helpful (even when I arrived in top form last time), and each of my office visits has been conducted efficiently and effectively. It's true they can be booked way out, but a kind staff member alerted me to the option of calling after 2 pm on any given day to see about cancellations for the next. I was able to get in for a cleaning seven months prior to when mine was originally scheduled. True to form, the work was excellent, and the experience was delightful. I'm actually looking forward to going back later this week to get some cavities dealt with, and I can truthfully say it's the first time I've felt that way. Thanks, everybody!

Negative experience: So I’m very disappointed with gentle dental. I literally have not been over there in three years. And they text me saying that I’m due for my cleaning just very incompetent and honestly a very sloppy spirit "I have no interest in calling your office to resolve an issue that your own records should have prevented. I haven't been a patient in three years, and it is unacceptable that your system is still sending me automated prompts. I am not interested in 'addressing' this through a phone call; I am interested in being removed from your database entirely. Please remove my contact information from your system immediately, as I will not be returning to this business. "Your response perfectly highlights the issue: you are not listening. I have stated clearly that I am not interested in a phone call to 'rectify' anything. I have not been a patient at your office in over three years. My request is simple, singular, and requires zero 'practice manager' involvement: delete my contact information from your database immediately. The fact that you are attempting to drive me into a phone queue rather than performing a standard administrative data removal only confirms the deep level of incompetence at your office. If you cannot manage a simple request to stop contacting a former patient, it raises serious questions about how you manage actual patient records and dental care. Consider this my final notice. I am tired of the runaround and the automated 'sloppy' service. If my information is not removed, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and state oversight boards regarding your business practices and failure to respect privacy and data removal requests. Please stop the theatrics, do your jobs, and remove me from your system permanently.

Fantastic experience: These last visits for routine cleanings succeeded my expectations. Both new hygienist, well informative as the previous yet I hardly experienced any gum sensitivities during my clean each time. This left me feeling better than ever about my next visit.

Negative experience: 15 months to get an appointment!!!! I was told to wait 8 months for a "New Patient" appointment. They canceled it the day before due to staff shortages and rescheduled me for 3 months later. Three months later they canceled me again for staffing shortages and are making me wait an additional 4 months. Absolutely ridiculous! I'm sure they're just going to keep canceling on me again and again. Maybe I'll eventually get seen by the time I'm so old that all my teeth have fallen out.

Fantastic experience: This is the nicest dental group in Central Oregon. Hands down. It’s always a pleasure going in for routine cleanings, or more aggressive fixes. The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable, and Dr Webster is a true gem of a dentist. Thanks Gentle Dental of Redmond!

Negative experience: Awful experience!! It took 2 months to even get in. Then when I did get in, they did half of my mouth then scheduled me 3 months out to finish what they didn’t finish! As well as another procedure for June 2026! I finally go into get a cleaning, so I thought, March 5, 2026 & the staff was rushed and busy, They told me I need to sign a consent form- not even letting me read what I was signing! Then, proceeded to tell me I had to get a filling. When sitting in the chair Drew Webster, DDS- Dentist had come in looking and acting very unprofessional. Sweating and in an extreme hurry! Seemed agitated and was extremely rude! I felt very uncomfortable and before explaining the procedure to me he hurried on the right side of me and went to put the huge needle in my mouth! Because the situation felt off, I flinched when seeing him rush toward me with the needle. When I did, he got angry with me asking me if I felt safe in a very demeaning and demanding tone! I had drove an hour to the dentist, I wanted the procedure done since it took so long to get in and half my mouth hadn’t even been worked on yet- however he kept screaming at me with his rude accusations- I felt uncomfortable. I asked if I should see another dentist. When I did, he threw his tools down, told me to leave and stormed out of the room!! I talked to the office manager whom did nothing. I am appalled with this place. What a disgusting unsafe facility!!!!!! Gross and unprofessional!

Positive experience: Dr. Webster was awesome in making sure I was as comfortable as possible during my extractions. Goin for full on dentures and I was in so much pain when I came in!! Really caring efficient team too!! I'm gonna say this, they all made. me laugh! Update: what wasn't funny. Is that Dr Webster is not licensed to prescribe anything for the tremendous amount of pain you'll be in from full on extractions of all your teeth. First the lower then upper. My primary care had to prescribe me pain med. Be prepared to do so as well if you go to Gentle Dental get and a non licensed prescribing Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was in pain and needed emergency dental care, so showed up without an appointment just before the office opened. The staff welcomed me and got me.in right away. Dr. Philip and the dental assistant, Tammy went to great lengths to take care of me and my tooth pain is gone. I know I was a curve ball first thing in the morning on a Monday for them, but they were amazing. Thank you, Gentle Dental!

Fantastic experience: They are very kind, I went because I had a very bad tooth and with a lot of pain, and their receptionist was very kind to me and helped me find a solution since they did not have appointments soon, it is highly recommended to go, without a doubt, to an exemplary clinic.

Positive experience: Very nice. No insurance so $$$ but that's not their fault. Dr. did he's best to keep the cost down. Went in first thing new to the area and no appointment. Was in and out in less than hour with an extraction. They do need to update their hours of operation. I read online open at 7am got there and was a little upset sign said 8. But it's an outdated sign and opened up at 7. Happy they could do it all same day no referral.

Negative experience: My son had an appointment this morning that i waiting for 30 minutes for. Watching another person who arrived 15 minutes after us get in before us. My son is 2 and would have been in and out quick. But they made us wait. Was such a waste of time when I ended up rescheduling and am now late to work. Please dont make people wait with young children that long. Its very hard to keep them entertained. And all that for nothing. Very disappointed with how we were treated. I will be trying to switch dentists with insurance.

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment a couple months ago for a cleaning I needed since it’s been past my 6 months. I confirmed every automated message saying I’m coming. They called me the day before my appointment to “reschedule” but can’t get me in until March. Super unprofessional, and annoyed. Also when I answered the phone all I heard was the receptionists laughing and being loud. Will not be rescheduling at this establishment .

Negative experience: I called today, 11/10/2025 to schedule an apt for my wife and I for a dental cleaning. I was told their ONE person who did cleanings quit and they have no one to clean teeth, and could not make any apts for cleaning. Is that any way to run a dental office.

I feel blessed to not only find a great dental office and also a staff that treats each other like family.

I arrived at Gentle Dental 45 minutes late, but the staff was kind and accommodating anyway. Dr. Webster and his assistant were fast and thorough and I left the clinic with a prescription and a plan to address my situation. Fantastic experience: After having years of dental coverage and services provided by a single dental office, I was assigned to Gentle Dental, the first "chain" dental office of my experience. I have to say that the staff, including the hygienist and Dr. Webster are great. I recently had some work done that I was pretty nervous about and I can't stop bragging about how well it turned out! Very professional and sensitive to my concerns.

Negative experience: While the gal who took my x-ray and looked at my teeth was wonderful i have a 10 month wait to actually get my teeth cleaned which is ridiculous. They are booked out that far. They are taking on way too many people. Won't be going back there and will tell people what corporate is doing to their poor employees

Fantastic experience: Got me in the same day for an emergency when my crown broke and I was going out of town the next morning at 5 AM. Would’ve had to cancel my trip or not open my mouth or said a word the whole trip because it’s my front tooth. They fixed me up quick and set me on a plan for what I need to do when I return!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dental group to everyone. They are courteous and knowledgeable about new up to date treatments and procedures. They can usually get u seen for an emergency. Thy treat u like an individual and no judgement what insurance you have like some others I have been at. Wonderful hygienist I hope he stays.

Negative experience: I cannot believe the bs I was told on the phone. I was told they may not accept my insurance although my insurance is saying they are who I have to use. Then I was told that due to my insurance I’m extremely limited to available dentists. A complete lie, 1-my insurance did confirm that they selected this dentist for my child and 2- that I am not limited due to my insurance. There are at least 4 other dentists in my town that accept my insurance. My insurance company went ahead and gave me a list of participating dentists to choose from. All the good reviews, I thought I was going through a good company.

Fantastic experience: I had a filling performed and the location was against the nerve so a tender area. The Dentist administered two injections and I did not feel any pain or discomfort. The injections were given slowly and carefully creating very minor discomfort. I was impressed. The filling was quickly and efficiently performed and the dental assistant was excellent. This office in Redmond is wonderful, professional, and absolutely the very best dental skills I have ever received. It was actually a pleasure to receive this care. I highly recommend this clinic. Mind you I am from a large city, This was the best and least painful treatment I have ever received! I highly recommend this dentistry clinic and NO… I am not related to them.

Fantastic experience: Have had nothing but great service here, for several years. Normally I don’t like visiting any form of dental stuff, but these folks are actually fun and efficient. I’ve had cleanings, broken tooth, crown and other work, fantastic each time. Shoutout to Renee, she makes it real!

Positive experience: It was a good visit but only issue is there was nothing pulled to get rid of the pain. Nothing for pain. I'm supposed to just deal with it for another however many more months until I get seen. Nice people thought.

Fantastic experience: I was having a massive amount of tooth pain for a few weeks and then they got me in there earlier than my appointment. When I showed up I told the blonde dentist (I forget her name) that I needed nitrous oxide (I hate going to the dentist, the pain, the anxiety) and she told me that they only had one tank and that it was being used. I told her that I guess I just had to tough through it but she found a second tank for me anyway. I just loved her. Really sweet and did a quick and great job with my tooth - alleviating me of any pain at all. Really love this dentist!

Fantastic experience: I am not a denti-phobe. I had a tiny filling but had a minor melt down in the chair due to life circumstances. I was treated with empathy and kindness. The dentist was great with the epi shot, no zingers and my #20 is brand new. No high spots, no pain. Great job!

Positive experience: 1. Messed up my appointment time. Originally scheduled for 8:30a (confirmed via a text message 2 months before the appt day) to then let me know it is 9:30a a couple of weeks before the appt. 2. The night before my appt, they called to let me know they don’t accept my insurance although I specifically asked them to confirm when scheduling 2 months prior. I didn’t get to experience their dental service but their customer service is causing delay to my treatment (now elsewhere).

Fantastic experience: I broke a filing in half, called Gentle Dental Redmond and they were able to get me in within a day of calling. The front desk gals were very nice and happy to greet everyone. The Dr and assistant had me fixed up within 45 minutes. Everyone was in great moods, welcoming and made you feel comfortable. Best dentist! 10/10!

Fantastic experience: First time I’ve experienced a dental hygienist who was so informative, thorough, and delightfully personable all at the same time. Ashley was fun and funny while giving me so much info about teeth and gums. Didn’t realize there was still so much to learn about my own dental care! I went straight out and bought an item she suggested.

The dental hygienist was very informative about my issues and was very polite & friendly. They have a great program for young children to get a fluoride plus a new electric toothbrush free. I just happened to be in there during kid day. Great location, thank you to the whole team!
