Negative experience: The dentist stated very clearly that today’s was free. My insurance company paid out a claim and I was billed for a large amount. No cleaning or anything relative to the statements was required for such charges. Will never provide a statement for a dentist until the statement arrives at the carrier. Snellville, must be careful.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Lorena and Dr. Desta are an amazing team! I use to have a fear of going to the dentist, but thanks to them that fear is gone. They are gentle, professional, and truly care about those they provide services to! I love them DOWN!!!! I 100% recommend them, especially if you have fear like I did!

Negative experience: In the past, minimal X-rays were taken and did the job. Now they take soooo many and I’m wondering what for. Then I find out that they’re charging an exorbitant amount of money. So there you have it. I wish I could find a dental practice who’s main concern was taking care of their patients and NOT making expensive & unnecessary recommendations and doing everything possible to make profits at the expense of their patients or insurance companies. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I always have such a great experience with Lorena! She is incredibly kind, attentive, and makes every visit feel comfortable from start to finish. She explains what she’s doing throughout the appointment, which I really appreciate, and she takes the time to make sure I’m at ease. One of the things that stands out most is that she remembers me and makes me feel like more than just another patient. Her genuine care and friendly personality make going to the dentist so much easier. I highly recommend scheduling with Lorena if you have the chance!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had appointments today, and his appointment was two hours before mine. Since he needed to get to work and we only had one car today, I asked if there was any possibility of seeing me earlier. Lorena was so kind and accommodating and was able to work with us. Negative experience: I was very disappointed that this dental office billed my dental plan more than $1,000 for X-rays. This amount is excessive. I suggest staying away from this dental office.

Mason was a fantastic assistant and went out of his way to make sure I felt completely comfortable during my X-rays and prep work. Dr. K was so friendly and highly informative about my teeth and overall health, which I truly appreciated. Lorena, the hygienist, has such a warm personality and a reassuring voice that made me feel 100% comfortable throughout my entire cleaning. Lastly, Kennedy, the financial advisor, was so caring and genuinely focused on finding me the best and most affordable care plan possible. All in all, this office provides a true 10/10 experience, and I actually look forward to continuing my dental services down the line with this amazing team!

Fantastic experience: This is a late post, but I have been coming to this location for over 2 years and this past month my new hygienist Lorena offered 3 teaching moments and recommended a procedure that have saved my gums! Being over 40, and having only 1 cavity/crown ever in my lifetime, I still was not properly flossing(waterpik or reg floss) :( , or using best mouthwash, or using my electric toothbrush to it's full abilities. This woman had singlehandedly saved my mouth with simple education! No offense to the dentists, who have come and gone from this location, but the person who's with me and in my mouth the most every 3 months is this chick! Kudos Lorena! Amen

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in Georgia for 6years since moving from New York and I’ve never seen hospitality like this in a dentist office. This is my 3rd dentist office and I’ve finally found people who are genuine and love what they do. From the check in process, to the x-rays down to my deep cleaning. This team was phenomenal. I want to thank Kennedy(office manager), the dentist and Lorena (hygienist). I really want to thank everyone today for the time and work that was put in to my cleaning. Fantastic experience: Where do I beginning.. I had the pleasure of meeting the staff at Snellville Smiles Dentistry last weekend and all I can say was that my visit was nothing shy of amazing! The team exude kindess, made me feel at home & was very informative about the treatment I needed. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. They constantly checked in with me, and if I was ever feeling any discomfort they made sure to ease my pain. Dr. Desta, Lorena, Mason and the ladies in the front are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this dental office to those who are looking for professionalism, above and beyond care and great communication.

Fantastic experience: Lorena- This dental hygienist is the best. She has been my hygienist twice at Snellville Smiles- ask for Lorena her schedule fills up quickly though. Her bedside manner is great, she explains everything, very calm and patient.

Negative experience: they wanted to charge 6k for a root canal and a crown and then made me pay $100 for their “savings” plan that slashed it in half to 3k. if you go to any dentist in the area, the same procedures cost around 3k or less than that. this place is upping the cost of treatments and making it look like theyre saving you money with dental savings but are just scamming you. never get any major work done here, they’ll charge you way more than necessary and act like they’re helping you out by cutting it in half when in reality its the normal price.

Negative experience: They make it so complicated to get an appointment. After weeks I finally scheduled one, then they call me the day before my appointment and tell me they canceled it because they decided on a whim that they weren’t gonna take appointments after 1 o’clock. And apparently I didn’t give a confirmation ( even though I did via their automated phone system). This is after already taking time off work. I’m very disappointed with my experience. It’s not a smooth process, it’s very inconvenient, and highly inconsiderate. Don’t bother going here.

The office is very clean, and the staff, from the moment you walk in until you leave, are very pleasant, making you feel very comfortable. The hygienist, Lorena, is fantastic; I give her a 20 out of 10. Everything is explained to you before and after the treatment, and they try to minimize pain and make you feel comfortable. In short, I highly recommend them.

I don't know what was in the air this day but the staff was friendly and on point- from checking in all the way to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed my hygienist Lorena . She answered all of my questions, made me feel comfortable, explained every step and checked in on me when there was a little wait for the dentist. Keep this crew that you have.

Fantastic experience: I needed a second opinion on a previous diagnosis from a different dentist and they were so helpful. Their payment plan is honestly a lifesaver. Shout out to front desk for helping me out so much. Fast and efficient as appointment should be.

Negative experience: I wrote a review yesterday & it was lies on top of lies. So I went in to get a tooth extracted which I appreciate the doctor but these are some liars that work in this place. They ask you for your payment while you're laying back getting ready to get your procedure done & here comes some girl who must have thought I was some desperate old bald headed man looking for some attention thinking she was going to manipulate me out of my money....no mam wrong person. They told me my out of pocket cost was $180 then I look on my credit card statement & they charged me $287. Then tried to tell me some bogus excuses for the charges. I called my insurance company & the charges were covered at 80% including my deductible. Either they doing some illegal stuff & upcharging people or little miss muffet thought I was going to be her sugar daddy. Word to the wise...watch this company cause you will loose money if you don't check your account. It's ironic that they didn't give me an itemized bill but a treatment plan which I assumed was a receipt. Please don't try to play with me.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the dentist all my life , I usually dread going to the dentist, today LORENA , changed that , and is the best hygienist I have ever met , she knows her job very well , she talks to you while she is cleaning your teeth and telling you what she is doing and what she is putting in your mouth, she showed me how to floss properly, she is very professional and excellent at what she does. Fantastic experience: Actually the most amazing time I’ve had at a dentist. No one asked me to write a review. They just overexcited my expectations. First I have to praise the operations manager Anna, for dealing with my 6 phone calls about insurance then is just the nicest person when explaining how much it all costs and the different insurance options. I missed my first appointment by oversleeping, and then I called and they had an open spot and took em the same day. The Dentist I saw was Dr. Kahiler, very nice person and very informative. Explains things very well. The dental hygienist is Lorena, she did an AMAZING job cleaning my teeth. I needed a gingivitis cleaning and it didn’t hurt at all. I had 8 years of build up from not going to the dentist. She also taught me how to properly floss my teeth so that it doesn’t build up like that again. Overall I had a really good experience with these people and I’ve had bad experiences with dentist offices before. So this was a pleasure.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the best experience at Snellville Smiles Dentistry! Leah was amazing even the day before my visit. I scheduled online as a new patient and Leah called me within the same hour to confirm my insurance. All the staff is super receptive and inviting the moment you walk in the door. The X-Ray tech remembered my mom and her birthday which was really sweet. Leah was really professional with the billing portion of my visit as well. We even discussed her concerns with my insurance not populating pricing correctly. I’m grateful that she cared enough to follow up with my insurance to confirm.

Fantastic experience: Today was my very first visit with this office. I had a great experience from the phone call I made to set up the appt until the end of my appointment. I was able to have my X-rays done, a thorough exam of my teeth and gums and a mid level cleaning completed in less than 2 hours. I was seen at my appt time and every single staff member I interacted with was a pleasure. I’m so glad I chose this particular office after a change in my dental insurance. I’ll be recommending them to whoever will listen lol

Negative experience: I was a new patient and I had confirmed ahead of time that my insurance was in network and they said they would honor the applicable fee schedule. After the initial steps like X-rays, I was told by the office that the insurance I had was only supplemental and I was given a very high quote for the treatment I needed that didn’t sound right with what my insurance was supposed to cover. So when I went home and called my insurance they offered to do a 3 way call with the dentist office to clarify the plan. The insurance company told me that when they called and explained what they were calling about that the front desk said they didn’t think I was a good fit for a patient for their office and hung up. While I found the dentist to be very competent and helpful, I was very disappointed that they were so rude in shutting down the conversation with insurance. I was clear upfront about the insurance I had and they are a listed provider. I am not sure why they wouldn’t even take the time to try to sort the fees out with insurance. If that could have been figured out, I would have been happy to start going to this dentist. And even if my plan was, in fact, not going to cover what I thought, the front desk could have still taken the time to discuss this with insurance and confirm they had it right.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time to the dentist in a really long time, due to fears, insurance issues and other things. The entire staff made this visit very pleasant. From the paperwork process to the payment process, I was very impressed. Roniyah was very pleasant and nice. She was patient and caring while servicing me. After explaining my fears and phobias, she made sure she explained each thing that needed to do beforehand, made sure I understood and was very knowledgeable in her answers to my questions. Dr. Lakhani understood my concerns and made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. She told me that although I hadn't visited a dentist in a while, my teeth were in pretty good shape. Ana was very helpful in making sure I understood my financial portion and with the work I needed done for my family, she was able to help me understand everything financially, reassuring me that I was receiving a great price for the services that we needed. Great office, caring and knowledgeable associates, pleasant environment. You won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned. They spent too much time getting X-rays of my teeth and other images of my mouth. Cleaning my teeth wasn’t a priority at all for them during my first visit.. they used the word “consultation” instead to justify only taking exams of my teeth. I was told they need to check with my insurance about the copay for cleaning but somehow that wasn’t a issue with getting imaging of my teeth… I ended up calling them 3 weeks later for them to say the eligibility for my insurance wasn’t completed. I still never got my cleaning and very disappointed. I can’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ll need to find a dentist and have my records transferred. I felt like this place only cared about billing my insurance for the “consultation service” instead of actual cleaning my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Great experience there. They walked me through the treatment plan and I had half of it done the same day. If you can’t afford to pay even with insurance there are payment plans that are helpful. First dentistry I’ve been satisfied with in years.

Fantastic experience: I had a really pleasant and good experience at this dentistry. I previously had a few issue and complications with other dentistry’s, but this one made me feel comfortable and valued my visit. My hygienist, Mrs. Rahela, left my teeth feeling sparkly clean. Dr. Lakhani was also very friendly and informed me in a pertinent matter on the issues regarding my teeth. I’d highly recommend choosing this dentistry.
