Fantastic experience: Our adult daughter had 4 impacted wisdom teeth and was in pain, and Sue in the Camp Hill office went above and beyond getting her an appointment at their Lancaster office the following week. Other oral surgeons were not available until August. The day of the surgery in Lancaster went great - the staff and doctor and anesthesiologist were all wonderful and explained everything well. I highly recommend calling them and using them. Finally, the bill was just what they said it would be, no last minute surprises.

Negative experience: Listen to the other reviews when they say that this place will tell you one price, then it will end up being significantly higher. They’ll have you sign a bunch of paperwork before they rack the price up on you. Then, if you can’t pay or want to reschedule, they’ll charge you a cancellation fee for that as well. A few of the girls I spoke to were also rude. I have a literal voicemail from one of their employees, of the price that I was given and expecting, and I brought it up to question why the price jumped up over $500 and they wouldn’t even listen to it. The practice in general is shady seeming and I’m happily going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Sent scans from my Dentist, but they stated I may need 3D scans which are $250, not covered. They said they wouldn't know if I needed the 3D scans until they looked at my scans during my visit...but then said I pay the $250 upon arrival...? Finding another Oral Surgeon, good luck w your visit ,)

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend this place. Everyone was super nice, all very understanding with anxiety and tried to joke around to make me feel better beforehand, and surgery was super quick.

Negative experience: I recently visited Wood & Myers Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for my eight-year-old's oral surgery. The office itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The staff was generally friendly, but there's room for improvement in how they interact with younger patients. My child seemed a little intimidated, and a more gentle approach would have made a big difference. My main issue was with the unexpected cost increase. I was initially quoted $135 after insurance, but after an additional x-ray to check for a potential complication, the total jumped to $1600 right before the surgery. While I understand the need for thoroughness, I wish they had clearly communicated the additional cost beforehand. It was stressful to scramble for financing at the last minute, especially with my child waiting for surgery. I had to apply for a CareCredit card, which thankfully the office staff was able to help me with since I was having trouble finding the information on my end. Overall, the experience was mixed. The facility was good, but the surprise bill and the staff's demeanor toward my child post-op left something to be desired. If you go, make sure to clarify all potential costs upfront and advocate for a patient-centered approach, especially if you're bringing a child.

Fantastic experience: I recently had 4 extractions. The entire team was professional and kind. I have had no pain and the experience was easier than I imagined. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my final appointment with Dr Smith today for my dental implant. The whole process went smoothly, minimal discomfort and a job well done by the entire staff. I especially appreciated Dr Smith taking the extra time to ensure I was educated on all phases of the process. I would recommend wood and Myers.

Fantastic experience: Only place that accepted our insurance! So I was hesitant since I knew of no one who had been there before. From the first appointment to the walk out the door after surgery for my son it was smooth and the best experience. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Kindness and compassion was shown through my entire procedure. Everything was excellent. I was an emergency patient and Wood and Myers fit me in. I can’t thank you all enough for everything. And shout out to my nurse with the Romanian accent, she knows her stuff inside and out and was great!

Negative experience: I went here for a wisdom tooth extraction in July 2024, something that went perfectly and with no major complications during or after the procedure. The level of care and expertise was nothing short of exceptional. However, in July of 2025, 12 months later, we suddenly receive notice that we are now under debt collection for a sum of money that was never disclosed. We paid roughly $350 out of pocket at the day of procedure, being told that the rest had been covered by insurance. Yet despite that, and never having received ANY contact from the office via phone, text, email, or paper mail in the 12 months since the procedure had been done, something apparently happened along the way to suddenly make that statement untrue, and no one told us anything until a third party agency came to us demanding the money. Upon trying to contact the office, multiple times, to try to understand what was going on, they refused to disclose anything, or take any kind of fault or investigation into the matter - a professional "get lost", at best. Abhorrent and disgusting behavior from any business, but especially an office where transactions commonly go into the 4-figures. Do not risk your appointment here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Smith and team were fantastic for my extractions. Everyone in both the Camp Hill and Lancaster offices were extremely friendly and helped ease my anxiety before my procedure. I had my procedure done on a Friday afternoon and Dr. Smith called me himself called me Friday evening to check in and make sure I was doing ok, I’ve never had a provider do that before. I will be going back to Dr. Smith for any other dental procedures in the future.

Fantastic experience: The removal of two wisdom teeth went smoothly. The staff and surgeon did a fast and very effective surgery. Additionally the post procedure advice and directions were very “spot on” in minimizing bleeding and discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I came in as a new patient. From my first call in to find out about insurance coverage, then to schedule, then how fast I got an appointment was well handled. Reminders for appointment were helpful. Registration and sign in at the desk was easy and quick. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Short wait time to see the Doc. Nurse was very friendly and thorough. Answered all my questions and explained what would be done. Doc was friendly and got the job done perfectly and quickly. My concerns were well addressed. I was treated with respect and care. Sent home with good instructions. High marks for the team from me! and many thanks.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few surgeries done here very thankful the surgeons that I had were very smart and knowledgeable, I decided to try one closer to home Dr Danielle Holland and she turned out to be not only arrogant but very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Hard to get a hold of due to my crap schedule. But once the appointment was set, it was smooth. Sat down and all of a sudden I woke up in another chair. Now I'm chilling with my redneck makeover. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I am active duty military and stationed overseas. A few years ago I began the implant process at this office and a few weeks later I was deployed and have been deployed in the Middle East since. I finally found a surgeon that was willing to finish the process of my implant but would need the information of my current implant. I have been trying to contact all three offices internationally for three weeks now and am unable to speak to anyone. My current surgeon and his team has also reaching out multiple times. It just goes to the answering service no matter what option I choose. I have also left voicemails with no return call. Please provide a way to get my dental records.

Negative experience: I don't think they care... read the generic response to each negative review. Called in prescriptions without taking into consideration my other meds; Left the room with the uncovered tray of instruments at my lap; The surgeon was not nice, but did his job. Overall, this is a good place to stay away from. Not good medical practices. Also, the wait time was extensive.

Positive experience: If you only require an extraction, this is a good place to go. If you require anything additional like an implant, stay away. I have an infected cracked tooth that needs extracted, but also an implant. Everyone stresses to you how you shouldn't let a tooth infection go because it can get into your bloodstream and eventually your heart. Imagine my surprise when Dan told me on March 31st, the 1st available was April 28th, and that was for a consult only. When I tried to make an appt for the extraction, I was told I wasn't allowed to do so until I had my consult. I asked why, previously, I was able to get my extraction the same week, and now I'm having to wait a month. Dan informed me it's tax return season, and now everyone is wanting to get their dental work done. Okay... infected tooth over here! I wasn't in any pain at that time, so I said fine, and I took the April 28th appt. Fast forward to this week. The filling holding my tooth fell out. There's a hole in my tooth. Food is getting stuck, not only in the hole, but also the crack in the tooth, and there's puss coming out. Sounds great, right? I now have pain in my sinus and ear. I call and leave a message. Get a call back and told me I need to be transferred to my consultant. " Bree doesn't answer, so I leave a message. Does Bree return my call? Nope. Never hear from her. Luckily, I found someone at a different oral surgeon who was willing to help. No jumping through hoops necessary. I'm giving this 3 stars because my previous extraction only was great. However, stay away for anything else.

Negative experience: Receptionist was not friendly, had zero personality. Wood was the same during consultation. He seemed irritated/annoyed maybe because it was Friday afternoon. He answered zero of my concerns and I'm right back to square 1 with a broken wisdom tooth causing pain in my mouth. Going to Lahar instead, he hooked up my wife with wisdom tooth extractions after similiar issues with this place a few years ago.

Negative experience: I was referred here to have two molars removed- I called and was talked into a “consultation” along with my local extractions in case I decided to have an implant in the future. When I got to the office, and the girl that took us into the exam room advised there would be no teeth removed today, we explained our understanding that the two teeth would be removed using a local anesthetic only, she became very annoyed and rude- then when I expressed how much pain I was having, she proclaimed loudly and aggressively- “All our patients are in pain” it is at that point that I should have picked up my things and left the office, but being a respectful person I allowed the dentist to come in and speak with me. All he talked about was anesthesia, which is what I expressed initially that I was not interested in having. As it turns out the teeth were not removed the dentist told me that he wasn’t capable of doing it under local anesthetic and it seems that nobody in the office is capable of doing that since I called back afterwards and no one ever returned my call. This is not an office that I will ever go to in the future and I would not recommend anyone going to. This is a sales tactic to get people in there to make the most money possible for their practice and to support their newly decorated, waiting room, which in my opinion is absolutely hideous Interestingly, I was Never asked if I was a surgical candidate.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, talented professionals. I’ve had three tooth implants in the past 5 years, most recently today, with Dr Smith and Ila assisting. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Positive experience: My son went in today for wisdom teeth extraction. He had given them his insurance information prior. Since this is the first time he was ever put under anesthesia, he was very very scared. The whole staff were very understanding and accommodating. But here was my issue. As I was sitting with my son and the anesthesiologist who tried to relax him with gas, he started to hyperventilate. She was more than amazing helping him. But, while this is happening, another staff member had more than once asked me how we will pay the remainder of his bill. Come to find out while sitting there that he would owe $1600. I was floored. No one advised us prior that this would be the cost and that they do NOT take a payment plan. He had this appointment planned for a month. I was shoved out of the room to figure out how to pay this TODAY. After about 20 minutes, I was able to give them a credit card. As I was paying, I heard one of the girls say did it go through? The other girl said yes and then the other girl called down and said he's good to go. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? They literally waited until my payment was made till they continued his surgery. Poor poor practice. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out at another office and NEVER had this happen. Other than the great care my son received from the medical staff, they proved that money means more than the patient care. Needless to say I was very angry and very disappointed! Will not be going back.

Negative experience: They never answer their phone. You have to listen to five minutes of bullshit advertisement of what they can do for you and then they send you the goddamn voicemail and never pick up. It wouldn’t be a big deal if they would just send you right to voicemail but forcing you to have to listen to the goddamn commercial for five minutes really pisses you off.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish this office impressed me! Dr. Myers and his staff are Outstanding! My daughter had her 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted with ease. The procedure went super well and her care was fabulous! Dr Myers talked us through the surgery before hand. Brooke was very Sweet and the Nurse Anesthesiologist Carolyn was Amazing! Miss Pritz checked us in And Kendra took great care in post op. I am a dental hygienist and this office is Top Notch. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: My daughter needed to have her wisdom teeth removed ASAP while home from college on winter break. The staff worked quickly and were able to get her in within a week so that she could recover before heading back to school. Staff was very professional both before and after. Post-op instruction care was VERY clear and made a "not so fun experience" into something tolerable! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I was recommended through great friends, her granddaughter Jodi use to work there and she loved Dr. Wood. So, I went in for a consultation and waited 58 minutes! After 35 minutes I checked in with the front desk to see if they had forgotten about me?? No, just finishing up with someone’s surgery! Just when I was about to leave, the doctor finally came in for 2 or 3 minutes! I just didn’t feel satisfied and still didn’t understand why I needed a 3 minute consultation! I’m on very limited income! However, I need a tooth pulled and I’m seriously considering an implant, but after reading reviews I’m concerned, especially after what happened today?? Maybe if I can get Dr. Wood to do my procedure I will.

Negative experience: This is the biggest farse I have ever been involved with. I have an infection and need to have all my bottom teeth extracted. They need the ok from my cardiologist. He sent the ok to Woods and Meyers on Monday It's now Friday and it is still waiting to be reviewed. They will not schedule my appointment until that document is reviewed. Meanwhile I'm spending the week with this infection going through out my entire body and waiting for an appointment because they can't take the time to look at the ok from my cardiologist. I guess that's what you call customer care.

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old son had his 4 wisdom teeth removed all at once and his healing process went very well and fast, the pain level was like a 1 or 2 max and they give you all the tools and explain the whole process from start to finish. They did an excellent job. Definitely recommend this place 100%.

Negative experience: They did not explain why they were doing extraction. Only because it was proactive. In that case, why not extract all the teeth in my mouth. I feel sure they would have been ok with that. Dr Myers did not even do a visual check. Very disappointed and not comfortable at all with them. I got a second opinion.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. The entire staff was professional, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. A special thank you to the anesthesiologist who went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and relaxed. She reassured me by letting me know she would be by my side the entire time, which made all the difference to me. Her compassion and attentiveness were truly comforting. The entire surgical team was incredibly skilled and efficient, and I appreciated how they took the time to answer all my questions and keep me informed throughout the process. The whole experience was seamless and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Wood & Meyers for anyone in need of oral and maxillofacial care. They are an exceptional team!

Negative experience: I’m not sure why your doctor seemed completely willing to remove bone had it been small but refused to remove the very large bone from my mouth. In fact, not only did he refuse but he garnered an attitude and launched into a lecture about how he told me he can’t go in there for no reason …” I won’t be back as this concerns me on so many levels, starting with the actual skill level of the surgeon if he makes excuses to leave a large bone causing discomfort and tissue damage how can I be assured he has the skill level to do more than remove small bone spicules? Perhaps he’d rather do more interesting procedures and leave me to suffer, either way I don’t recommend! I also asked a question about a serious concern I had, the response was completely unacceptable and inappropriate. “That’s not important.”, if it weren’t important to me as the patient I would not have asked. I certainly didn’t expect this rude response!

Negative experience: After a consultation visit, a plan was made to extract 3 teeth, bone graft & implant. All was completed, EXCEPT, Dr Smith pulled a wrong tooth. That day I was given a written prescription for a pain med but couldn't be filled because the amount wasn't filled in. So I met with Dr Smith one week later to see what he was going to do to fix his mistake. His response, he'll pull the correct tooth for free. My response was, how is it free when I already paid you. Later that day his office called and made me an acceptable offer. Extract the correct tooth, bone graft, implant & pay my Dentist to do the crown. Great offer EXCEPT, I had to use Dr Smith, to which I said, NO WAY. I tried for several months to schedule an appt with Dr Myers but my chart said I could only talk to Dr Smith. Finally I managed to get an appt with Dr Myers. He said he would do the work as promised. However, then I discovered the crown work was removed from the planned work. So I finally had the tooth extracted by Dr Myers along with the bone graft. On my next followup exam I was told he would not pay for the anesthesia. I have always paid for anesthesia because of my anxiety with dental work. Final point: I drove 50 min each way, several times, because of their screwup. I underwent another surgery/recovery time to extract the correct tooth, and now the implant won't happen since I can't afford $340 for anesthesia. Save yourself alot of anxiety and DO NOT USE - WOOD & MYERS!

Negative experience: Horrible. Your level of customer service at this location has plummeted. No communication. No directions. I waited 2.5 hours for my husband as I was told last minute that he needed someone to stay. I jumped through hoops at work to accommodate. As I sat in an over crowded waiting room not one person came to tell me that my husband was ready, they said they called me. Well then why did I sit there the entire time? Well they said people leave. What? Thought it was requisitioned. I needed to move my car to another location. I had no idea. Your staff was too busy to pay attention and then frustrated when they were asked questions. I had no idea that my husband was prescribed Oxy. He won’t take that. I didn’t know because I got no information about his scripts. I can continue but unfortunately my husband has to keep forward with his process. Do better. I myself accommodated a gentleman in a wheelchair and his helper so that he could fit into the room. Your staff did not help. I’m so disappointed by this recent experience here. We are not cattle. You need to live up to you”Simply The Best” designation. You are not right now.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by Dr Varun Arya, an Oral Surgeon, to have my tooth extracted. I must say I was more than satisfied and extremely pleased with not only doctor Arya but also have to say that the entire office staff were all awesome especially Doris! I consider myself lucky to find a great dental facility and doctor!!!! I highly recommend them and I honestly say you'll be treated professionally by everyone!!!!

Fantastic experience: Ive never written a review before, but I totally feel that they deserve the 5 stars. Im a pretty anxious person, and getting my wisdom teeth out had me anxious for hours leading up and before going in. When they took me back to get the process started the assistant and anesthesiologist were amazing. They didn’t make me feel bad at all about the extra nerves, they just naturally started conversation with me and that immediately to distract my nerves. The procedure went great I was told and then when I was waking up the assistant who went over everything and walked me out was also super kind and easy going. Not all offices/professionals will as understanding about anxiety, but they were just amazing.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth extraction. It was the best procedure I’ve ever had. The nurse was great as well as the doctor. The whole procedure of the extraction was about 10 minutes and painless. Very professional office, I would use them again if needed. I highly recommend them, and I’ve had several extractions done in the past. This was by far the best. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Myers has performed a full range of dental surgeries for our family of five. We’ve all aged—first wisdom teeth removal then bone grafts and implants. Implants are time consuming and expensive but well worth it. Dr. Myers is a perfectionist and his work reflects it.

Fantastic experience: My procedure done at Wood & Myers Oral Surgeons was A wonderful experience. Everyone was very nice. The decor was top-of-the-line and everything was extremely neat and orderly. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. I felt at ease with Dr. Smith and my procedure went very smoothly with no problems. I want to thank Braden for being so sweet and attentive when I asked him for a tissue!! Thanks everyone who worked with me…receptionist, nurses and Doctor. Fantastic experience: Dr. Smith is very sweet and polite, he said, my implant would not be any worse than having a cavity filled. Well, he was wrong, cause filling a cavity is worse, than an implant :)

Negative experience: So my wife Maria came in there to get extraction done. Twice actually she was having pain from both times. First time she was in pain couple days afterwards and she called in to get help. She hates the dentist or anything like that to begin with. Anyways I watched her in PAIN!!!... Both times actually it's actually a shame. She calles today to get help doesn't talk to anyone she needed to for hours. Then finally she did nurse called back well doctor isn't going to give you anything for pain because he is concerned BUT at the same breath well its normal yo be in this pain too. He would want you to come in. We'll here is the thing she has been in souch pain that she don't want to come in for a injection that she will STILL be in pain no matter what right ? No I won't allow that. 2 she is in souch pain she can't even drive. NOW you guys had no problem when you got paid. When you ask for payment before anything we PAID you no problem. You guys know Maria can't just take ibprophen or anything like that due to medical reasons or she would on a heart beat so she isn't like a normal patient and you guys know that 100. This isn't a game here she has been throwing up from the pain and barely keep anything down from the pain. I hope that no one ever experiences what my wife is going through right now. It's actually a BIG shame. You guys are great taking the teeth out I'll give you that but the aftercare is terrible terrible. I actually ran across someone at the pharmacy that I go to that works there that said the same thing about you guys that I am. I was actually shocked. This is someone's life your playing with here. I BET your lucky stars right now if you was in this pain my wife is you wouldn't even blink and go get help where you can. You wouldn't work or anything in this pain I promise you that 100%.... It's a shame because we were hoping you guys actually cared. Plus the surgent that took the tooth out was telling my wife about how bad her teeth are. Well let me tell you something dude you have no idea what my wife has been through. Her daughter passed away at 16. So much has happened to her and you have no idea at all and I don't need a sorry from any of you people. I want my wife to be ok.

Fantastic experience: Two teeth were extracted a couple of weeks ago (an old wisdom tooth and a half broken tooth) by Dr. Arya at the Camp Hill location. Given the expected pain and discomfort one would expect from such an experience, I was a little apprehensive about the procedure. To my surprise, however, the extractions were a breeze. A nothing burger! Dr. Arya and his team of experts provided me with a pain free experience I wasn't expecting. The anesthesia knocked me out completely with no memory of the surgery. Post surgical recovery was free of any pain whatsoever and very minimal discomfort. I was fully recovered and eating normally after a few days. Thank you Woods and Myers for a freindly, comfortable and professional experience! I highly recommend them!

Positive experience: My consult lasted 2 minutes and the surgeon didn't even look in my mouth. Then on the day of surgery, he was late getting there. He didn't even say hello, I'm here. I was put to sleep and woke up little bit later. Never did see the doctor. Staff was very nice.

Negative experience: Very very bad experience from the camp hill office, Dr Myers did 2 wisdom teeth extraction and one of the site started bleeding bad after few days, it was friday night and it would not stop so we tried reaching the on call dr and the on call doctor would not pick up or call back. after trying for several hours so had to go to the emergency room, next day drs office responded that on call doctors phone was on silent !

Negative experience: Haven't had my surgery yet, but I'm thinking I need to look elsewhere. My consultation was great, good information. Set up a surgery apt. but the Dr had to reschedule which was going to be 2 weeks later, I was then put with another Dr who could see me sooner. I've been in a lot of pain, called a few times which I couldn't get through, finally did and they have to have someone call me back. Still waiting, if the attention to patients is this low, I feel I should go some place else.

Fantastic experience: If a fella has a requirement for dental implants I would highly recommend Wood & Myers. The office is expertly operated with friendly and efficient staff and Dr Myer is skillful and pleasant to deal with. My only choice for implants.

Positive experience: Stay away from here. Was told over the phone there wouldn't be steroids in my IV. Get there and told that steroids are used unless I really don't want them. Dr. Arya weirdly asked my husband if he was recording him, he was just holding my phone for me. But he seemed really worried he was being recorded. It was odd. Also I mentioned just in conversation that I had a headache from not having any coffee that day of my wisdom teeth surgery. I wake up and I'm told I was given something for the headache even though I didn't ask for that and I've found out today whatever they gave me isn't covered by my insurance. The staff member who was with me when I woke up was very kind and nice. But overall I wouldn't recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I just had a couple extractions and an implant post put in. I was super anxious for the procedure but everyone was very nice and friendly. They put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. The procedure was done and over before I even knew it! I would also say that they are competitively priced. Implants are very expensive everywhere.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful! Dr Smith and his staff fit me in with emergency visits when I broke a tooth which exposed the nerve. (Sooo painful!) Promptly took care of me!

Fantastic experience: I recently took my 90 year old mother in to Wood & Myers for multiple tooth extractions. She was very anxious prior to her appointment. The staff was wonderful at putting her at ease, explaining things so she could both hear and understand. When I went back to the recovery area Mom was smiling and giving out hugs. 5 stars everyone!

Negative experience: Awful experience. Stay away. I can’t get a follow up appointment. My implant was rejected and booked out one month. They even tried to reschedule my follow up. My first post op surgery I waited one hour and doctor didn’t even see me. This place is awful. Beware

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased threw the whole experience from the check in to check out. Everyone is so friendly that you deal with. My daughter was in tears and very nervous and they treated her like their own. And the sweet nurse promised to never leave her side and she was there to hold her hand. She was so sweet. Positive experience: Surgery, follow up appointment, and the customer service coming from the office were all 5 stars. Everyone I encountered in those contexts was professional and courteous, everything was explained well, everything ran on time and my recovery was quick, relatively painless, and well-managed. The consultation was frustrating for me. The doctor I met with (can't remember which one) suggested I get a lot more work done than I was referred in for. When I told him it wasn't in the budget and I wanted his help prioritizing what I could do with my budget, he couldn't seem to get it through his head that I was financially unable to just get it all done at once. He was confrontational and not very understanding of my budget constraints, and did not help me prioritize as I asked. Since he was unhelpful I decided to just get the work I was referred in for, and I felt judged when I told him that. I walked away wondering if there was a medical need for getting all that extra work done, or if he was just trying to make a quick buck by scaring me.

Fantastic experience: Great experience when my daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Daniel Smith was very friendly, had a great bedside manner and took time to answer any questions that my daughter had. The rest of the staff was professional and friendly as well. Clean and modern facility.

Fantastic experience: After I started my care at Wood & Myers (Camp Hill) I saw some terrible reviews on this practice, specifically Dr. Myers & I was thinking "oh no what did I get myself into" But honestly I have had great care! I had a severely abscess tooth & the infection was in my neck & had started to eat into my jaw bone. Dr. Myers was startled & genuinely worried for me when he came into the room & saw my images. He immediately started things in motion by prescribing me antibiotics & had his staff schedule me for tooth extraction with him ASAP. My tooth extraction went very well. No post-op complications or issues. I had my implant placed by Dr. Myers on 2/1 and boy was I nervous but he was great. Talked me through everything step by step before he did it. I listen & watch how Drs treat their staff because that tells me a lot about them. He was not only kind to me & my fiancee who accompanied me that day, but he was genuinely kind & respectful to his Assistants, saying please & thank you to them as they assisted him. Dr. Myers, himself, called me the evening of 2/1 after my implant procedure to check on me & see how I was doing. I couldn't believe it. That meant a lot to me. I feel in my soul he is a good person. I don't know circumstances around others "bad experiences" with him or even the practice & I know you can't please everyone, but I am very, very satisfied with the care I am receiving & would recommend Wood & Myers practice & Dr. Myers to my family & friends.

Fantastic experience: If you need a tooth extraction or an implant put in, this is the place to go. I had more pain coming in then leaving. I had two teeth extracted. With heart valve surgery in my past, they always give me the proper medication I need during my visit. I have been here several times before. Dr. Myers is great!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff, they made me feel comfortable this was my first (wisdom teeth surgery) and I was scared and the nurse anesthesiologist reassured me and my mom that they were gonna take good care of me which made me feel safe. I am beyond grateful I was able to find a good office to do my procedure. The doctor (Dr. Myers) was very charismatic and kind and taught me more about the benefits of my procedure which is perfect since I am in school for dental hygiene and I love learning new things!

Fantastic experience: Professional and fast service. Went for tooth extraction and was best experience I've had yet with extraction. All the staff at the camp Hill office was polite and professional and the doctor was realistic and had a good sense of humor which was nice cuz dentist are never really fun to visit lol. He did a excellent job making sure I was numb and reassured me it would be quick and painless at pulling my wisdom tooth with local anesthesia. I was in pain from a abscessed tooth and being pregnant, I would of waited another month just for my consult anywhere else, so I am very grateful and blessed to have him pull it with no pain! I've had another tooth extracted over 2yrs ago when I was pregnant before and did not have a good experience. This place was efficient and polite! Would recommend them to anyone!

They worked me in last minute for an emergency procedure during the holiday season and I was so appreciative. They were empathetic, professional, and courteous. I was in EXCRUCIATING pain when I came in and I left feeling much better.

Negative experience: I placed a call to your office to the nurse line several hours after my son had his wisdom teeth out and NEVER got a call back. The call was placed @1:34pm and now it’s 6pm with still no call from the office and they are closed.

Fantastic experience: My mom and sister were both seen within five months of each other at the Camp Hill location and both experiences were wonderful. Dentist visits aren’t fun to begin with, but the staff at Camp Hill was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I drove my mom to her surgery and they were more than happy to let me sit in the waiting area (which is very nice, by the way). After the surgery was done, they take you aside to the “Aftercare” area where they lit you sit and take some time coming out of surgery. There, they gave my mom and sister a aftercare pamphlet which they explained in great detail what needed to be done after surgery to heal properly. Most places would just push you out the door as soon as the surgery was finished, but instead, they make time to go over your procedure and what you need to do afterwards to heal properly. The night my mom got home from the surgery, the doctor who performed it even called her to make sure she was doing okay. Even though this place was a good two hours away, I would recommend Wood & Myers to anyone who needs dental work. They will take care of you!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Gaus and his staff are the best! 2 different teeth removed on 2 different months no pain during or after tooth extraction! Was eating regular food next day! Dr. Gaus personally called me in evening to see how I was doing! Know one thing for sure I will request him from now on if I have any more problems with teeth! I’m 73 years old have seen plenty of dentists he and his helpers are the best ! One tooth was broken off horizontally at gum line 15 seconds or less it was out which was comforting for me! Fantastic experience: Excellent medical practice if you need oral surgery! From the first phone call to the scheduling and to the smiling face that greeted me, the Wood & Myers team was extraordinary! Dr. Myers is excellent and the nurse and anesthesiologist were so friendly and calming, which helped lower my anxiety level tremendously. And Dr. Myers called the same day in the evening to make sure everything was ok. No one looks forward to the oral surgeon, but if you need one, this is the only team I would go to.

Fantastic experience: I would give them 10 stars if I could. I visited another dentist prior to this for dental consult and felt utter shame. Everyone I worked with at Wood and Myers were amazing. They were comforting, understanding, and made me feel as though I was a worthy person again. After an extensive procedure I felt amazing the next day. They have given me my confidence and smile back. If you go anywhere else for dental surgery think twice. These folks are incredible.

Negative experience: "Wood & Myers" Scheduled me for an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed and then cancelled on me a week before my appointment, due to a pass missed appointment...not scheduling someone for surgery because of a missed appointment is one thing...but calling somebody a week before their surgery to tell them its canceled is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. The soonest appointment I can get at a new surgeon is September and now I'll have to live with this pain till then. I already heard horrible things from a friend before scheduling my appointment and I wish I would have listened.

Negative experience: Removing appts because of 1 I had to cancel a year ago, refuses to accept me because of an appt I had to cancel, they also let me know 1 week before my procedure they canceled on an appt I had scheduled for months. Taking my tooth business else where

Fantastic experience: The facility is very well maintained and beautifully decorated :), and the service provided was excellent. They were responsive to our urgent request and managed to schedule an emergency appointment for my wife promptly. They efficiently addressed her dental needs on the same day I contacted them, and the tooth surgery was successfully performed without any complications.

Fantastic experience: I cant praise this place highly enough! Reception was incredibly helpful, empathetic and patient while scheduling me. I was really nervous to have surgery but the assistant with me was so kind and offered me a heated blanket etc. I also go to meet the whole team that would be working on me beforehand which made me more comfortable. I had no complications, issues reaching the office, or getting aftercare help either. The office was beautiful and everyone there was so lovely. I would highly recommend coming here.

Negative experience: DONT GO HERE IF YOURE IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP. they sent me to an orthodontist where they told me $6,000 just to have the POSSIBILITY to get my wisdom teeth out. i don't know how that makes sense. they just want the most money they can get. THEY DONT CARE from the looks of laura's comment i'm very happy i walked away. i would hate to give them all my money just for them to cause me to be in more pain than i was before. the girl can't even get a sorry (OR AN EMAIL) for you guys giving her NERVE DAMAGE?!?!?

Fantastic experience: BEST DENTAL FACILITY I HAVE EVER USED and VERY PROFESSIONAL! 1. Very accommodating to patient's need for service; fully evaluated over phone w/ same day follow-up and scheduled for surgical procedure under general anesthesia within 3 days since I was in pain. 2. Entire staff....admins, receptionist, dental assistants, nurse anesthetist and the oral surgeon Dr. Daniel J. Smith....were absolutely FABULOUS!! 3. Spot-on w/ the entire process, procedure and necessary after-care, including appropriate medication w/ very specific directions and explanations. 4. Facility was clean and a relaxing non-stressed environment. 4. Financial matters settled on first day as well w/ my copay computed and relayed to me promptly. I truly cannot say enough good things about this team and facility!
