Fantastic experience: I have been coming to pomona family dental for about 10 yrs, my commute is from corona, i truly recommend it to anyone, there is no other dental office i would go to. Dr. David is amazing. I had gone to another dentist prior to this one and they game a temporary flapper, i was not happy with it so i went to pomona family and the dr took it off right away and put a temporary tooth, i couldn't be happier even after the other office told me they wouldn't. .

The dentist and everyone at this office are taking care of me very well in checking and cleaning my teeth. He gives you options, then he will explain each option and you will make the decision. Fantastic experience: Dr. Choi is by far one of the most personable dentist that I have ever have the pleasure of meeting in my life!! I had not gone to a dentist for a long time and I decided to go to get a check up and get some work done. Dr. Choi made me feel comfortable and at ease. In addition, he is "my second opinion" dentist since I tried going to another dentist who had told me I had 7 cavities and it turned out that I've only one. It was a filling that had fallen off. To me, integrity and honesty are a must!! Needless to say that I am happy to have found my new dentist!! Update: now I'm taking my son and he loves it too! Also, for ANY business to flourish and be prosperous, one has to have a great person leading it, but also a great staff. I HIGHLY recommend all of them. They are professional, friendly, and VERY efficient. Thank you for the great service and care.

Negative experience: The staff is great. Everybody has their own job and does it happily. They all make you feel very comfortable and well taken care of. They even gave me a blanket when I was cold. Friendly, funny and polite. I did however have to go in several times to get the correct color or shade of white for my new crown. I was given a lot of numbing shots, every time was very painful. After finally getting my crown put in I had a problem with my teeth scraping when I eat and now I'm forcing myself to eat on one side of my mouth to prevent the scraping. I went to get it fixed and the dentist kept telling me there's nothing wrong but obviously I can feel what's going on in my own mouth , my teeth are hitting and scraping against each other when I eat. The dentist was disrespectful and literally told me he was going to go help several other people before coming back to explain to me again that nothing's wrong. I'm in disbelief. There are better dentists in Pomona , I suggest finding another one. I left without getting the problem fixed. Better to find a dentist who will make sure his work is correct before having to find one to fix the work done.

Jackie and Brenda were the best, Jackie gave me the best information on how to keep my teeth Healthy. Brenda cleaned my teeth very well and informed me on what she was doing every step of the way. After getting a root canal, temporary crown & deep cleaning done, I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I’m truly grateful this place was recommended to me. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years & I was honestly terrified to go back but not anymore! The entire team was incredible, so kind, patient & reassuring every step of the way, a huge shoutout to Brenda, who made the experience feel safe & comfortable & walked me through everything with such care. I’m actually looking forward to coming back in early December to finish my deep cleaning & get my permanent crown. Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist ever. I came in today for a 4 PM appointment was out before 4:30. I had a cleaning done and the dentist came and checked out my teeth. Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Dr David and his practice enough. He saved us thousands of dollars on our son's teeth when another practice quoted us over $2000 for what ended up being simple fillings and a $40 copay. He also saved me from a root canal another practice recommended for me, and again, he did a filling..that was like 12 -13 yrs ago. He also doesn't push unnecessary procedures. Our kids are young and they have no issues there. Everybody is great!

Positive experience: Most of the staff were friendly except at receptionist desk. Dead stares and silence with no offer to help unless you spoke first. Made it a little uncomfortable but at least everyone else was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. My daughter & I have been going to Dr. Choi for years. Although I don’t like going to dentist , I feel at ease when going to this office. I trust their expertise, great bedside manner and they NEVER forced or pressured me to buy procedures out of pockets. ALL ( yes ALL) dentist offices that I went to before always pressured me to do procedures that are not covered by insurance that cost thousands of dollars. I felt anxiety to go ALL previous dentists because the sales pressures were HUGE. I wonder if it’s because of large students debts or just bad business. Dr. Choi office is absolutely wonderful. I would give 10 stars lol.

Fantastic experience: Just had a great experience overall. Louise was excellent doing my X rays! He told me of issues I had with my inner jaw line and positioned the X ray it inside my mouth where I felt no pain for the first time ever! I was surprised to see how quickly my permanent cap was put on and it looks just like my other teeth! It is such a great match in color and very comfortable in my mouth. Over all... Negative experience: So, My kids have been coming to this dentist for 2-3 years and I will be switching them all due to, my youngest daughter needing some fillings and one of her adult teeth coming out sideways which they referred us out for. Which I was fine with and when going to the new dentist they asked why didn't they fix the fillings? and refer her for the major work only? I remember their dentist telling me that the new work will be done by the referral but I agreed that they definitely should have taken care of what they could have instead of referring me.
