Fantastic experience: I love coming here for my dental care! People think it’s strange that I actually enjoy going to the dentist for my 6 month checkups. I love my hygienist! I previously had horrible experiences with past dentists. I had a filling that wasn’t done properly and it caused a lot of pain while chewing and flossing. I went in explaining the problem and Dr. Kelly was able to quickly identify the problem and with a bit of filing and adjusting, I was good to go. No pain while chewing or flossing! She’s amazing! Very thorough and very gentle. I recommend her to any and everyone that is in need of a dentist! Also, getting X-rays are wonderful! Before coming here I would dread getting them done, but at Amazing Smiles, the bite wings are small and they don’t cut the inside of your mouth at all! I highly recommend this dental practice! 10/10!!

Fantastic experience: My first visit was great. I've never learned so much from a dentist! Both Dr and her assistant Cheryl were super sweet and explained in detail everything they did. Didn't feel rushed or like it was all about money. I've had the worst experiences when it comes to dentist visits, but Amazing Smiles made me feel comfortable and confident in improving my dental health.

Fantastic experience: Everyone on staff was very kind and welcoming. I was nervous coming in and they made me feel better. I've been to a dentist that seemed kind of scammy before and this didn't feel like that at all. They seemed honest and earnest about what they saw and their recommendations, not trying to like upsell me on special procedures, and explaining everything as they went along. Even gave me the whole history of everyone working there during my X-rays at my first visit.

Negative experience: The receptionist was unfriendly , and with a really bad attitude she told me for new patients she only had appointments until March and that’s it that was the only thing she said, she was so rude. Not going, I have delta dental insurance, I was trying to make an appointment for me my husband and my two children , but not, she was awfully rude.

Fantastic experience: My daughter referred me to Amazing Smiles. I was having pain that started on Friday of a 3 day holiday weekend. They fit me in same day. The electronic paperwork asked about Dental trauma of which I have quite a bit from my childhood. The office did not smell antiseptic, but pleasant. The staff was kind and friendly explaining the process and going over the X-rays with me. Dr. Kelly was very kind, and aware of my past trauma and took great steps in reassuring me and checking on me through her exam. That evening, Dr Kelly sent me a text checking on me and making sure I was able to get the prescription. I highly recommend Amazing Smiles. They are amazing!

Fantastic experience: MAJOR EDIT 12/12/2023: I had an emergency dental situation that required I go to a different dentist called Love To Smile in Overland Park. Turns out I needed an extraction and implant, which Love To Smile quoted me at $8,000!! I decided to check with Dr. McCracken first. She not only suggested this should be done by an oral surgeon, not a general dentist like Love To Smile was going to use, but my new overall total between Amazing Smiles and the oral surgeon they referred me to is only $1,200! Now, my metlife insurance is pretty phenomenal, so experience may vary depending on coverage, but its clear Love To Smile was WAY overcharging and Amazing Smiles' incredible team have once again not only provided unparalleled service, but saved me a LOT of money! Original Post: Been going here since I moved back to KC. The office is clean, organized, and professional, but still has that sense of warmth and familiarity you'd expect from a local practice. Both the office staff and hygienists are friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. McCracken is not only one of the top practitioners in the Greater Kansas City area, but a phenomenal communicator willing to assist her patients with exploring options and understanding procedures. I've been to dental offices across the country and this is, hands down, the best I've had the pleasure of working with.

Dr Kelly McCracken from Amazing Smiles recommended a fairly new technique called Icon Treatment to remove the stains. Dr Kelly personally performed the treatment which was quick and easy. My sons teeth look amazing! The Icon Treatment was exactly what he needed to make his teeth look nice and white. Thank you so much to Dr Kelly and her incredible staff at Amazing Smiles.
