Spinnaker Pediatric Dentistry

Fantastic experience: The staff at Spinnaker are amazing! We see Dr. Day who is so sweet and today we had Lesly who was just OUTSTANDING. Our 3 year old is not a fan of someone poking around in his mouth (expected) and she did such a good job trying to help him have fun and truly understand the process. We had originally started our child’s dental care at Acorn but after fraudulent billing claims and a less than kind and understanding staff, I am so so glad we found Spinnaker. Huge bonus for the kids too - they get a prize at the end!

Fantastic experience: Both my kids love coming here. Recently, my youngest (age 4) had a procedure done with in office anesthesia. My daughter NEVER goes with anyone willingly, unless I’m there. Dr. Elroy (anesthesiologist) was able to have her calmly go to the back room for her procedure with ZERO issues. No crying, no hesitation, no fear. I was surprised how smooth that transition went, and very happy. Dr. Cooper (dentist) completed all the necessary work. He went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect, even redoing 2 crowns because he wasn’t satisfied on how they set the first time. Everyone here TRULY cares to make sure the kids have a wonderful experience. My daughter’s procedure was yesterday, and although her mouth is sore from the crowns, she is still asking to go back to the dentist today. Thank you to the amazing staff from the people at front desk, dental assistants, and doctors. You are all incredible.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to see Dr.Cooper for over a decade. All of my kids have enjoyed his kindness, mannerism and support. His incredible knowledge has been greatly appreciated especially during the kids time with orthodontics. 100/10 would recommend. We are gonna miss him and the crew when we have to see a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cooper is simply wonderful with kids, insanely knowledgeable, and makes the whole family feel comfortable, safe, and heard. Our dental assistant today was also amazing, super sweet with our little ones (4 and 2), and had the fastest hands in the west catching the inevitable gaggy globs from sensitive mouths. I recently moved all 3 of my kids to Spinnaker and would 100% recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken my toddler here to fix her lip tie and a cavity and they were so kind and patient with her. I also took my baby to look at her lip tie and each experience at Spinnaker has been absolutely amazing. They really care about kids and it shows!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend to Spinnaker! Dr. Cooper is so wonderful and goes above and beyond. Recently had my babies tongue tie released and he talked us through everything and made sure we were comfortable with the stretches and recovery. You can tell her really cares about his patients and is good at his job.

Dr. Copper and his staff made us feel comfortable and were all so kind and helpful in every possible way. Fantastic experience: ​A huge thank you to the team at Spinnaker for making my son's first dental appointment a success! Kristyn was amazing—she built a great rapport with him, making the x-ray process smooth and stress-free. Kristyn went above and beyond to make us both feel comfortable, using kid-friendly explanations that really helped my son open up. Because of her patience, he was calm when Dr. Cooper came in for the exam. Dr. Cooper was equally kind, and my son felt completely comfortable during his exam. Even the administrative side was a breeze. Jane’s detailed explanation of the treatment plan and clear breakdown of costs was exactly what I needed to make an informed decision. Highly recommend this team for anyone with young children. I am so grateful for such a positive start to his dental health!

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but incredible experiences here with my children. My son has sensory issues and gets freaked out very easily when it comes to going to the dentist or when anything comes to his mouth. John, the dental assistant was super patient with him because the x-rays that should’ve took two minutes actually took more like 25 minutes. He didn’t lose his pool once and my son was giving him a run for his money. Dr. Cooper was very knowledgeable when he explained everything that needed to happen for a specific needs for our dental care. I would recommend this Dentist 100 times over.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cooper is amazing! He came on his day off to laser our 3 day old son’s tongue and lip ties. He took plenty of time with us, answered all our questions, and made himself available if we had questions in the days ahead. I will be recommending him!

Fantastic experience: Best experience!! We adore Dr Cooper and his staff. They were so kind, great sense of humor and made this visit fun! Dr Cooper and staff explained everything, and were so good with both of my kids. We learned a lot today and have some new tools to ensure our kiddos brush and floss more correctly to keep their teeth and guns healthy.

Fantastic experience: My child had a dental emergency (on a holiday weekend). Spinnaker staff went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. I can not believe the level of care they provided from when I called and left a message to coming in after hours (on a Saturday!!!!) to take care of it. The level of professionalism, compassion and care honestly makes me tear up, I am so grateful. If you are looking for a dentist that will take care of your child like their own, look no further. Not only are they wonderful for checkups and cleanings. They will be with you in your time of need without question. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: 02/2026 update: My 4 year old just climbed in the car alter her checkup and declared: "John was amazing!" Never heard her review a person before so he must have made an exceptional impression! Always great with my daughter! We have been coming here since she was 2,.and love Dr. Day!

Positive experience: Edit: Spinnakers office manager gave me a call to go over our encourer today and truly wanted to imrpvoe their treatment consent and information process for their patients. Doctor Day also is very apologetic and wants to improve the process as well. I really appreciate the time and understanding and we will be giving them a 2nd chance next dental check up. First visit with our 18 month old... office is very clean and inviting. Front desk staff very welcoming, Dental assistant was very friendly. My only hang up came once the dentist came to see my daughter. I was told doctor would do an exam, discuss dental hygiene habits and that was about it. During the exam they started to brush my baby's teeth with flouride. Which I was not informed about at any point being part of the treatment plan. While the doctor did immediately stop the procedure and wiped the product away after I asked what they were using on my baby. We were told "The front desk should have informed us or we should have told the front desk no flouride". As a first time mom, with a fairly little toddler and a first time visit I had no idea what to expect so i couldnt have told the front desk anything. I feel like the assistant and doctor Day should have spent more time explaining their treatment plan to us before doing anything vs doing it without allowing for informed consent and relying on the front desk to review or recommend a treatment plan for a patient. We'll give it another shot perhaps with a different doctor but feeling very uneasy at this point.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Day, Keanie and the entire staff are absolutely the best! My daughter loves Keanie and specifically asked for her to stay in the room while she had her extractions done. You couldn’t ask for better people to take care of your kiddos! I have a lot of anxiety surrounding dentist visits and I know that my kiddo is getting the best care at Spinnaker and that helps immensely to qualm my anxiety! I especially appreciate how they explain everything in depth and answer my questions without making me feel like I’m silly for worrying. They also explained everything to my daughter that they were doing inside her mouth and talked to/informed her like they would if they had an adult in the chair.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Dr. Cooper for 3.5 years and our toddler’s review from today is “fireworks fireworks fireworks,” I think that means fantastic :) the team relates to development stage of kids well, lets them explore tools and processes that can otherwise be scary, and are very much set up for children. We really enjoy this dental practice and appreciate the kindness and patience they embody.

Fantastic experience: Great front desk, great dental hygienist, great dentist who is funny and good at his job. Recommend the whole team 10/10. Plus they have a salt water fish tank in the lobby while they play finding Nemo. It’s perfect.

Positive experience: My husband and I took our 15 month old for her first dental visit and we got in and out pretty quickly. The front desk and dental assistant were very friendly and welcoming! We saw Dr. Day, she was quick and efficient, there wasn’t anything remarkable that stood out from her interaction with our daughter. It being pediatrics I was hoping for more interest in engaging with the child rather than just trying to get the appointment over and done with. If we do take our daughter back we will opt to see Dr. Cooper. I just wasn’t very impressed with her mannerism with my little.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience!!! So glad we were recommended to come here by friends. The hygenists and doctor were SO friendly, and explained things well for both the kids and adults. The kids were also excited because they got prizes AND they made them a balloon animal. I'm blown away. So happy they get to have such a good dental experience.

Fantastic experience: We had a very complex dental problem with our 4 year old who is defiant and unable to be treated under local anesthesia. Spinnaker was the 6th place we have tried at and the first place who was actually able to do what we needed. Their staff was professional, organized and excellent with children. The doctor and anesthesiologist connect with the parents personally to answer questions and have full transparency of the procedure. The dental assistants were assuringly helpful and naturally very good kids, something you don’t experience at other offices. I could tell this crew genuinely care about children. Plus the cleanliness and whimsical decorations make myself and my child at ease in a difficult situation. I’m so happy we found Spinnaker.

Fantastic experience: The office is spacious, comfortable and my son loved the salt water fish tank. The staff were kind and extra patient for my 2yr olds 1st visit. I wish I'd gotten the hygienist/assistants name. She was really lovely to us & you could tell a sincerely nice person. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took my 4 year old autistic daughter here for a second opinion after taking her to another dental office. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Everyone was great with my daughter, from the front desk, Kristyn the medical assistant, Dr. Amanda Day, and Jane the practice manager. Dr. Day spent 45 minutes with us discussing treatment options, answering all of my questions, listening to my concerns and really taking the time to explain things to me. She was also so good with my daughter. My daughter is very skeptical around strangers but she loved Dr. Day and that speaks volumes! The medical assistant was also very informative and helpful, super kind and good with my daughter as well. Jane the practice manager spoke with me on the phone for 30 mins prior to my appointment answering my questions and being such a big help even after the appointment to go over everything. So glad we made the switch. It truly makes a difference and very noticeable when you receive great care from people who are good at what they do and want to care for pediatric patients. Grateful I chose to go here! My daughter will need general anesthesia and I was so uneasy and uncomfortable about it until this appointment simply because the provider chose to educate me and listen to me.

Fantastic experience: Spinnaker has been patiently working with my daughter through her fear of going to the dentist and today we made some wonderful progress. I want to especially give a huge shout out and major kudos to the dental assistant, Kristyn, who really connected with my girl today. All of the staff at Spinnaker are wonderful but I'm exceptionally grateful for the talent that Kristyn clearly has for the work she's doing. Thanks to her, I believe my daughter will have more confidence going to her appointments in the future. ❤️

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough good things about Spinnaker Pediatric Dentistry. Our little boy was only 11 days old when we learned he was tongue tied, which was making feeding so difficult. When the hospital suggested Spinnaker, I called right away and they didn’t hesitate to work us into their schedule, knowing how important this was for our baby’s health. From the moment we walked in, Dr. Cooper, Sarah, and Kenzie made us feel so welcome and cared for. Dr. Cooper took so much time to explain everything, the procedure itself, what to expect, and how to care for our son afterward. We never once felt rushed, and that meant so much to us as new parents. They were even able to do the procedure that same day, and the way they treated our newborn with such calmness, gentleness, and care put us completely at ease. We are so grateful for their professionalism, kindness, and compassion. Spinnaker truly made a stressful situation so much easier, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

They helped us after my 5 yr old son had an accident and needed oral surgery. The staff was very sensitive to our anxiety and fear regarding our situation, and were very comforting and caring. From the moment we called, everything was smooth, the office is welcoming, clean and clearly focused on making kids feel safe and comfortable. Fantastic experience: First time parents looking for a pediatric dentist, Spinnaker came recommend by a couple friends and they did not disappoint. 1) They answered the phone, no phone tree. 2) They're accepting new patients and had immediate availability, no months-long wait. 3) They're very nice, kid-friendly (on my kid's level), answered all our new-parent questions and kept asking if we we had more questions. 4) They explained more about dental hygiene (the science) than I've heard my entire life going to a dentist. #TheMoreYouKnow. 5) Made sure my kid left comfortable and happy, not traumatized.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a lip & tongue tie correction. My daughter is 3, very shy & very big on stranger danger. Let me tell you how shocked I was when she went back without hesitation with the anesthesiologist & not a tear was shed. Both Dr. Cooper, the anesthesiologist & staff have a very calm, happy demeanor which helped keep my daughter & myself calm. They let me know the minute she was asleep & took me back as soon as they were done so she could wake up in my arms. Highly recommend them!!!

Fantastic experience: Spinnaker Dental provided phenomenal care during a dental procedure. We were so impressed that we switched to Dr. Cooper as our child’s regular dentist. Their pediatric anesthesiologist, Dr. Frank, also provided exceptional pre- and post- anesthesia care and has an incredible rapport with kids. We are so happy we found them!

Fantastic experience: My son needed to get a lip and tongue tie taken care of. They were great! Able to get me in quickly the staff was amazing. The doctor is great! I had same procedure done at a different place for my older son it was a completely different experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a child’s dentist.

Fantastic experience: Spinnaker Doctors and staff have taken care of my kids since they were 3 years old. My one child just turned 18 and was in between Dentists when he chipped half of his tooth off. I called around everywhere here on the coast and could not get him in. I gave Spinnaker a call and they got him right in and fixed his tooth that day. He now has a beautiful smile again just in time for Graduation. Thank you for always taking such great care of my kids. We will miss all of you.

Fantastic experience: Very attentive and helpful. We had to have our daughter undergo some dental work under general anesthesia. They were so great about tending to her needs; she was very anxious. The team was wonderful to work with!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cooper and the whole team were wonderful with my toddler when she had to get her lip tie clipped. She has separation anxiety and is quite loud. She was comfortable and calm with them when they took her back for the procedure. The frenectomy was quick and she is recovering well. I would completely recommend Dr. Cooper, Dr. Frank and their team. They made my nervous mom heart at ease.

Fantastic experience: We came to Spinnaker from another provider to get a second opinion. We were so pleased with the kindness and care that we received. The staff were all so nice and took great care of us. If you are looking for a place for your little one this practice is what you’re looking for!

Fantastic experience: Everything we experienced with this office was amazing! Our newborn had both a tongue tie and a lip tie that made feeding a challenge. They were able to get us in SO fast. The staff is personable and friendly! Dr Cooper is amazing! He answered every question we had and ones we didn’t think of. The removal of both took less than 5 minutes and baby Aiden did so well! Although we live in Junction City; we plan to bring him back once he has his first tooth :)

Fantastic experience: My family recently began seeing Dr. Cooper at Spinnaker. They have been amazing with my 3 boys. Today’s visit was no exception but extraordinary. Keanie was so kind with my son. She was holding his hand and walking him through every step. As an autistic 11 year who presents very normal but needs extra assistance she was perfect. So caring. The office staff also took extra care with insurance billing to make sure all of my needs were addressed.

Fantastic experience: It was really important to me that my daughter enjoy the dentist and not be afraid. Today was her first dentist appt and we went to Spinnaker. Ms. Keanie and the doctor took great care of my very spirited 2-year-old. She has been asking to go back all day. I’m so relieved at the level of attention, patience, and enthusiasm of everyone in the office today and am grateful that my daughter’s first trip to the dentist was a success. She left with a balloon flower, a backpack full of goodies, and a big smile!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cooper is amazing!! My 4 month old boy had been struggling with feeding issues, so I decided to have him evaluated for a tongue tie. Our pediatrician and lactation consultant failed to mention the SEVERITY of his tongue tie! Dr. Cooper also noticed my son had a pretty bad lip tie, which further contributed to latch issues. He scheduled us for laser removal the very same day! My son is now feeding so much better and is happier all around! I am so grateful to Dr. Cooper and his wonderful staff for all of their help. They made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I can’t wait to take my son back when he actually has teeth!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Day and team have been so great as our first pediatric dentistry office. They are so kind and take time to not rush. Our 20 month old has been twice so far and both times she has left with a big smile. The office staff are so helpful and prompt to reply with call backs. Bonus points for the lobby fish tank.

Fantastic experience: This pictures tells you all. My 9 yo son was super anxious for his treatment, and the dental assistant is rubbing his hand to let him know he’s doing great. You can PAY people to do their job, but this sort of kindness and extra care comes from one’s heart. And it touched my mama’s heart so deeply, I could cry. They truly go above and beyond for their patients. With the state of the art medical equipment (hand held xray machines), beautiful facility, movies on demand and great customer service (the one that’s hard to find anymore), we are so glad we switched to Spinnaker!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent pediatric dental care! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. My youngest child had a very traumatic experience at another dentist. Dr Day and Kristen were excellent at helping him feel at ease and understand they entire process. When they finished his filling he said "easiest and best dentist visit ever!"

Fantastic experience: This office is so amazing. They are so good with kids. Each person there, from the front desk to the assistants and the Dr., give excellent patient care. The lobby is perfectly set up to put kids at ease and relax before their appointment. Not to mention the beautiful fish tank! The kids love it!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Spinnaker. John was our dental assistant and he was amazing. My step son has really bad ADHD and can be difficult at times. John was very patient with him and showed him every thing before he did it. He even got him to let them do X-rays. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: I needed to find a dentist for my son and I chose this place. When I walked inside the building I felt welcomed and the staff at the receptionist desk were very friendly. My son enjoyed looking at the fish and playing with the toys. The assistant that we had was very friendly and spoke in a gentle tone. The dentist was very interactive with my son to get him comfortable. The dentist talked through each step that they were going to do instead of just jumping in. The place felt accepting for the first time being there. They created a fun experience with my son by making him a balloon animal and a prize after his appointment

Fantastic experience: We always have positive experiences at Spinnaker. Dr Day is a wonderful dentist and her team is all great as well. They take such good care of their patients. They go the extra mile by having their staff learn to make balloons for the kids! Creating a safe space by putting the kids first shows.

Fantastic experience: My child (2) had to go in for evaluation after some tooth trauma. The setting is very kid friendly from the lobby to the exam room to the prize at the end. I appreciated that they allowed me to hold him for the evaluation and the x-ray. Dr. Cooper and both dental assistants we met were silly, fun, and competent. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cooper is seriously the most gifted dentist! Both my girls love him and his silly personality, he makes going to the dentist a fun experience and puts my girls at ease. We also love John, the hygienist, he is kind, gentle and always talks through the cleaning process with my girls. Thank you for taking care of my girls and making going to the dentist a great experience.

Fantastic experience: John, the dental assistant, was amazing with my son! Never did I think that he would get my 2 year old to do a full cleaning, floss and fluoride treatment. Dr. Day is always informative and patient during our visits! We would recommend this office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This may be a lengthy post but well deserved. About a month ago my daughter had an accident every parent dreads. Falling teeth first into a coffee table. Both her front teeth got really messed up. Deep fractures and so on. I went to dr coopers from a recommendation from a fellow employer. Granted my daughter has OHP which they don't accept but my main goal was to make sure she had a very calm enjoyable experience without being traumatized. The initial appointment was amazing from the girls taking the x rays to dr copper coming in and explaining things so thoroughly. We came up with a game plan to just wiggle the teeth out since they were baby teeth and I personally didn't want to put her through and extensive restoration. Today we had the appointment. I was sooooo stressed for weeks because I have never had my baby go under anesthesia. As soon as I walked in for todays appt I was put right at ease. Dr. Cooper and the anesthesiologist were phenomenal with answering any questions and calming my nerves. My daughter was so excited to be back there the girl could care less she was going under and getting her teeth pulled. The whole procedure of her going back(which she went back willingly all by herself which she never really does but they were so great with her) to her being brought back to me was literally 10 min tops! They brought her back in my arms awake and she even cried because she didn't want to leave. I am so grateful for this office and all that they do. It was so much more worth it for us to pay for it out of pocket and have such a wonderful experience then going to an office our insurance excepts and my baby girl being traumatized for life. To all the staff fr reception, to the assistants and doctors, thank you so much for all that you did for making this experience so smooth and allowing my baby girl to want to come back!

Fantastic experience: These guys worked so well with my kids. They helped make it a fun experience instead of scary. My kids can explain exactly what is happening with their teeth. They engaged and educated them about their teeth while being playful and silly. I have never heard my kids say "That was fun!" after a dental appointment, until today. Sydney and John were amazing! Fantastic experience: We love Spinnaker Pediatric Dentistry!! Dr. Amanda Day and Ashley (our favorite hygienist!) take such great care of our kiddo and help make him feel so comfortable each time we visit. They clearly and carefully explain each procedure to both parents and their patients, taking time to address all questions and concerns! Kids can watch movies during their dental cleanings, and the lobby/waiting area is always clean and has the best toys for curious littles. And you can’t beat the entertainment factor of the giant fish tank in their lobby, either.

Fantastic experience: Dr Day is Amazing! She has been our pediatric dentist for several years and our two boys always look forward to seeing her and staff. The staff have a special touch and patience with young children during some not as fun dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Great office. Super friendly and caring staff from the front desk, to the hygienists, to Patty in billing. The hygienists were encouraging and careful to explain what they were doing. They engaged with my kids over popular books and movies. Dr Cooper was incredibly fun and won my kids at first glance with his manga scrubs. This is one of those rare offices where the staff seem to enjoy the kids not “tolerate” them.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with both our children, but Tanya the hygienist was exceptionally wonderful with our dentist-anxious 8 year old daughter. It was the very first time she’s successfully completed a cleaning. (This is the kid who needed general anesthesia for a filling). Tanya was patient, gentle, and so kind with our daughter. And they made balloon animals?!? Dr Day is great, too! Amazing practice, we love them.

Fantastic experience: Sydney was AMAZING with our son. He told the receptionist that his name was ‘Robo’ and when Sydney called us to the back she call his name ‘Robo’ and he went running to the back with a huge smile. She was friendly and friendly covering all the process for teeth X-rays directly to our son in a way he could understand (he’s 3). Throughout the process, she was very encouraging and praised him for all his help in getting beautiful pictures of his teeth taken. She made him a balloon dog he absolutely loved. Such a great experience it will be easy to get him to want to come back for future visits. Thank you so much for taking care of your patients in a way that is encouraging and exciting for them! Fantastic experience: Dr Cooper is amazing! My daughter is particular about who she speaks to and gives attention to. Dr Cooper is so bubbly, so kind and explains things to a two-year-old in a way she can understand. He made the appt so dang easy!

Fantastic experience: My autistic son is very scared of dentists. He has to be put under general anesthesia for dental work. The staff at Spinnaker made him feel at ease. He got a balloon animal. Everyone was very kind and considerate, and he has had no problems after his procedure (removing 3 teeth and filling a cavity).

Fantastic experience: After a few bad experiences with another popular local pediatric dentistry office I decided to give Spinnaker a try and I'm So glad I did. The service here is excellent and they did an amazing job with my kids, the first place ever to successfully get all of the X-rays for both kids. They did an awesome job explaining everything they needed and breaking down and discussing costs with me. After the last office made me very anxious and left me feeling unheard, it was so nice to have a complete opposite experience at Spinnaker. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old went in for a cleaning for the first time and the dental assistant Sydney was AMAZING ! She was very thorough to explain to him what was going to happen and showed him everything on his hand first that made it a fun smooth visit and made him feel like such a big boy and involved. Fantastic experience: Everyone was so sweet and patient! My 3.5year old was able to have his teeth cleaned, flossed, and have x-rays! Never thought we would be able to do all that. The hygienist was super kind and patient and took the time to explain and showed him everything. The dentist was amazing as well and was equally as patient and kind. Definitely super happy we came for a visit!
