Fantastic experience: Acorn Dental has totally exceeded my expectations and I have been so happy with the quality of their care. My kiddos have found a great pediatric dentist here and the office staff are so warm, inviting, caring and sweet! The atmosphere is so very different than all the previous offices we have visited. My daughter had her exam and cleaning on 01/20/26 and then needed a filling, so the lovely reception ladies were able to get her in within 24 hours!! Yep, we came right back the next day and got that taken care of! We’ve taken our kiddos (7 total), to several places within Oregon and also Iowa, Kansas, Arizona and California!! None of the other offices can hold a candle to Acorn. Some had videos for the kitties to watch during treatment, or some gave out tokens after the appointment to use in the gum all type machines, etc., but Acorn has it ALL! We will now be looking forward to bringing our children In twice a year!

Fantastic experience: My first time taking my daughter here, she was already a patient, she was in foster care previously. They took their safety seriously. Made sure I had the correct paperwork to be able to take my daughter to these appointments, since I've gotten her back. I recommend getting there early! So the kids have time to play. They are pretty tricked out. Also the ladies and the gentleman who work there, super friendly and engaging my daughter into participating correctly. Made her comfortable and happy. I would highly recommend this place

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: (Dec 2025) Today my experience was wonderful.I got in waited the appropriate amount of time and then was seen with friendly demeanor and encouraging words.I definitely would recommend this location. (June 2025) I had to wait quite a while and the dentist only visited for less than 10 minutes. I didnt feel like the cleaning was very thorough, but my child was squirmy. The initial nurse like dentist was super friendly and nice but the actual dentist maybe was having a rough day because I felt like she was annoyed with me and not really interested in pleasantries. That part sucked being our first trip ever to a child dentist and me not knowing the process of brushing and caring for baby teeth. I'll give them another chance because everything else seemed nice and if it was just a bad day then it won't be like that each time. I HOPE. :) UPDATE: Even though it didn't take away the initial emotions of the first visit, after my feedback they reached out to make sure I was able to get the answers I needed and felt comfortable with everything. That was an extra step and appreciated. So I update my review from 3 to 5 star.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and calm staff! My youngest child has a hard time at the dentist (gets super anxious and scared) but they are extremely patient and calm during the whole process.

Fantastic experience: I love the fun atmosphere at Acorn. It is clean and decorated fun for specific holidays. All of the staff is kind and friendly. They help my boys stay comfortable and feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: Acorn Dentistry did a great job keeping me posted on my son‘s dental work. Everyone was very friendly and cooperative. I love the atmosphere of this office and how kid friendly is. The only thing I would change is if you’re getting an extraction that they provide Tylenol, Motrin, and a special mouthwash to take home.

Fantastic experience: This place is literally the best!!!. I've always personally hated going to the dentist since I was a kid due to bad experiences. Acorn literally knows how to work with kids especially young ones and everyone is so patient & friendly. My son had a surgery on his second visit here and I was afraid he would be scared to go back but they literally do whatever to make children comfortable. If the xrays don't turn out they don't push it. He loves going here and the toys in the lobby definitely calms his nerves before he goes back before his visit. It's well worth me driving the 45min to take my son to a place this amazing!

Negative experience: I brought both of my kids in for their dental appointments, scheduled at 2:00 and 2:30. At first, everything seemed fine — each child had their own hygienist. My son finished his X-rays first, and his hygienist asked if she could take him to start his cleaning. I agreed. Shortly after, my daughter was also taken back. Once in the room, things got confusing. My son’s hygienist said something to my daughter’s hygienist and then left. My daughter’s hygienist mentioned she could take care of both kids since she was already done with my son’s cleaning. From that point, the visit felt very disorganized. After my daughter’s cleaning, we were told to wait for the doctor. A new hygienist, Rachel, eventually came in and said she knew we’d “seen everyone today.” She started working on the computer and mentioned the doctor would be in soon. The doctor examined both kids, said my daughter was all good, and that my son needed a couple of additional procedures. Rachel began the paperwork and did fluoride treatment for my son while my daughter was still lying on the chair watching TV — for almost an hour. When I asked if she was done, Rachel said yes, so I helped my daughter get up. Rachel then told me my son’s treatment would take another 30 minutes and offered to reschedule, which I did since the visit had already taken much longer than expected. Overall, the experience was frustrating. I’ve scheduled my kids together before and it has never taken this long. It seemed like the office might have been short-staffed or trying to manage breaks, but better communication and coordination would have made a big difference. Also, they put Spanish-language TV on for my kids simply because we’re Hispanic? They usually ask before playing anything on the tv but not this time. To top it off, once we got to the car, we noticed my son had the silver medicine on the bridge of his nose, near his eye. That definitely made the whole experience even more interesting.

Fantastic experience: Acorn Dentistry was wonderful with my daughter. The staff was very patient and friendly, and they did their best to calm her down when she was upset. They even gave her stickers, which helped brighten her day. I really appreciate how caring they were throughout the visit.

Negative experience: This is the worse place to take your kids as a new pt also if u refuse the services they threaten you and try to force you to take all the services that they offer also they are not very nice to different ethnics I would not recommend especially black ppl or if you are not white trust me .they also don’t have enough privacy for pt care .They harass you with countless phone calls it’s annoying!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter (4weeks old) here for a tongue tie consultation and we saw Dr. Tim who confirmed that issue and also that she had a lip tie. The Dr. and entire staff were absolutely lovely the whole time and very gentle and sweet with my kiddo during the procedure to loosen both mouth ties. He completed the procedure quickly and efficiently and when showing us the exercises/stretches for her healing, he explained the process throughly and answered all our questions. Loved our experience here and will definitely be using them again for all my daughter’s future dental needs. Such a good experience we drive from Eugene.

Fantastic experience: Jenell at the office was very professional and clear when getting our insurance information, Esme was our dental assistant and she did a fantastic job for our kiddo’s first visit to the dentist. She was so sweet with him and very clear about brushing techniques, etc. It was nice to meet new Dr. Angelo. Over all we had a really great first experience.

Negative experience: Two kids' appointments together mean at least one hour total. We were four minutes late, and they canceled the appointment due to being behind. It is very hard sometimes for parents to bring children exactly on time. A pretty sad experience. So today 06/17/25 and we had an appointment at 2. We got here at 1:52 PM, waiting for 25 minutes, but Acorn don't takes responsibility. Last time we were 4 minutes late and got canceled and received a warning.

Fantastic experience: As usual, it was such a pleasant experience! Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in through the (little kid) door. We had an assistant that was being trained by an experienced assistant and it was cool to hear the things they would discuss to make it a great experience for my 6-year-old; they met my kid at the level she was at. The doctor was kind, quirky, and made my kid feel really good about her brushing habits and celebrated her accomplishment of not having sugar bugs! Thank you for helping empower my kiddo and giving them the confidence to make healthy decisions.

I mentioned our families preferences when it comes to dyes, and how we prefer things be worded with our child and they were very accommodating. It was a wonderful experience and my child enjoyed every moment. Even more difficult situations he took well with the calm dental assistant. Seriously wonderful job ACORN.

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s first dentist appointment & they made him feel so comfortable! I have a very shy boy, but they were able to make him laugh a little before his checkup. I also love the little play area they have for the kids in the waiting area. It’s way nicer than any dental office i went to as a kid. The ladies there were also very sweet.

Negative experience: They quoted us an up front cost that we paid before the procedure. At the time of the procedure, after sedation, they gave us an updated price and told us to pay then, which we did. 8 months later they reached out and said we owed an additional $400-800 - they weren't certain how much - and were unable to provide additional information stating the exact amount, why the additional, or that we had been informed of the additional cost at any point before or at the date of procedure. As for the treatment, they gave my child four metal crowns after taking out small cavities which a year later still hurt him. When we asked if that was normal a month after the procedure, they said they weren't sure but we'd have to bring him in - which would be additional charges.

Positive experience: The waiting room is so fun and inviting. The dentist and assistant were good, but perhaps a little more explanation of expectations for parents would have been helpful. I just didn't know what I was supposed to do (help hold child still? Etc. ) Check in and out were great! So friendly and welcoming. Good at explaining what was gonna happen.

Fantastic experience: I love Acorn Dentistry! My daughter has been going to them 6 years now, since she was 2 years old, she has Autism and they are amazing with her ❤️. Both locations are awesome, we usually go to the Silverton location but do to a remodel we ended up going to the Salem. The staff is awesome and experienced. I highly recommend Acorn Dentistry!
