Fantastic experience: Dr Ashley has been my dentist for over 20 years. He is the best. He has done bridges and crowns and he has never caused me any pain at all. He is gentle and explains everything. I don’t fear the dentist anymore or the bill. He doesn’t do anything unless you need it. Office help is friendly and excellent hygienist cleaning your teeth.

Also, while I was there, an elderly patient arrived, distraught about a broken tooth. Staff were ready and willing - walkie talkies in hand - to accommodate the patient. They worked her in right away despite their busy schedules. Wow! What a testament to the compassionate care Dr Ashley and his staff provide for Evansville. Thank you so much.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient here since 2006, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have led me to find a new dentist. While the office itself is clean, and the hygienists are fantastic, I’ve had several issues with communication and the overall care I’ve received. I had a dental emergency with a loose crown, and my call went straight to voicemail. After finally getting a return call, I was asked for more specifics and called back, only to be put on hold for a long time. Later, I received another call asking me to contact a different staff member, but even after leaving a voicemail, I never received a return call. On top of this, I’ve had multiple issues with Dr. Lottes' work, which I initially brushed off as one-offs, but after three separate problems, I started to question the quality of care. The lack of responsiveness when I needed assistance with a dental issue further contributed to my decision to switch providers. While the office staff, particularly the hygienists, were always kind and professional, the lack of communication and trust in the quality of dental work left me no choice but to look for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly. From the front desk to Dr. I was able to see my x-rays on the screen in front of me as the Dr. explained what I was looking at. Highly recommend!

Seems like everybody's always in a good mood here! A lot of people never go to the dentist because they're scared. You don't have to be scared when you come here.

Dr Ashley and Dr Drew both responded to my complaint on upper tooth pain. While Maria and the staff were able to quickly schedule an opening to determine the cause of my pain. Dr Drew Ashley used the latest technology to find a solution while clearly explaining his findings showing patience and concern for my discomfort. Dr Chad Ashley and Dr Drew Ashley both provide excellent personalized attention taking time to answer any and all questions.

Fantastic experience: This has been the best dental appointment I've ever had in my life! Everyone was very pleasant and professional. I felt safe and relaxed because of the way they performed their procedures. From x-rays to 3D modeling scans. To how informed my dentist was about my other medical situations. And how they interacted with my dental issues. Made me feel confident in his ability to treat me. He and the other staff went out of the way to get me in to be seen as soon as possible. Which in my case was the very next day after I contacted them. They really showed above and beyond care for my wellbeing. And the costs of the procedures that I need to have done are very reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend Franklin Street Dentistry for all of your dental needs.

Negative experience: Dentist only interested in dollar signs. Gave us a $8000 list of things we needed done but never even cleaned our teeth!! And when asked for a medical necessity letter for the insurance..refused to provide one. Going to find a real dentist!

Fantastic experience: I was taken to the back on time by a friendly professional and was offered several services. I had a friendly conversation with a nice tech who cleaned and polished my teeth. She asked me if I had anything I wished too talk with the dentist about. Dr. Ashley came in and checked my teeth. The people there are very friendly and professional and I left confident that I received the best of care.

Negative experience: Edit to their response: Tried calling the office several times and they never answer. Seems indicative of how they stand behind their work. Had a procedure done here, paid thousands, procedure went poorly. Left with lasting damage and pain. When I brought it up to them, they called me in to take a look and blow more smoke up my back, then cast me entirely aside. Since insurance paid this clown factory to mess up, I’m paying thousands out of pocket to fix their mistakes. Now they won’t even do me the courtesy of returning a phone call so I can have all my documents. This place has done everything in their power to ruin my life. Original review: Awful place... I have suffered immense pain for several months as a result of the work I had done here. “Dr. Lotus” (Adam Lottes) repeatedly provided conflicting information about my care, which made it difficult to maintain confidence in the quality of his work. Maria (office manager) was rude and unhelpful. I am still months later, in pain, and waiting for documents she promised to send over after our last discussion. Her customer service and handling of the administrative side of my case were very poor. Essentially, after my procedure, I told them something wasn’t right and I was still in extreme pain when it should be (according to them) getting better. I came in for what I was lead to believe is a real appointment, but my concerns appear to have ultimately been dismissed & ignored. They didn’t say anything for a couple weeks, then Maria called a few hours before my next appointment, to cancel it and let me know they’re unable to proceed with my treatment. The timing of the cancellation made additional treatment more difficult than it needed to be, especially given the length of time between appointments. I then asked if they could send me my records so I can get someone else to take a look. Maria said they would be included along with a letter that explains everything (even though emailing is how they typically send them). About a week later, the letter arrives and says even less than she said over the phone. That was months ago and I’m still waiting. I gave them plenty of chances to try to make it right, but they chose not to make any meaningful effort to resolve the situation. I hate to leave a negative review, but this place really should be avoided if possible in my opinion.
