Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Hiester and his staff! My kids have been going to this office since they were toddlers, and they always keep visits fun and upbeat (as fun as a dental cleaning can be, anyway)! Even though my son is older now (16), Dr. Hiester has flexed his style to “mature” right along with him - while still taking part in some good-natured ribbing! The girls at the desk are always friendly and professional, and there’s never much of a wait - but there is a play room and video games to keep young people busy if there is! Highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old who has been everywhere for different opinions have stayed playful and clam during the appointment. He is probably the calmest dentist truly appropriate for the pediatric setting. He talks to the child and creates a bond and remains professional and warm to the parents who are just as anxious as the kid haha! Looking forward to a great dental appointment soon!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would do not take your child here mind u I'm just stating my opinion but after it was explained in the initial visit that my 7 year old child was special needs I was told that they would work with us to make him feel comfortable the day of the visit then when I started asking questions and trying to explain things we were rushed or so it seems that was strike 1 in my mind next at the 1st treatment they would not allow me to walk to the treatment room with my child or be there with him to make him feel more comfortable i tried telling them some things about my child and this arrogant doctor basically acted as if it was his way or the highway and like he knows everything there is to know about my child thats where he was wrong and then we were told that we were a waste of time strike 2 you don't get a third with my child in short if u want your opinions and thoughts on your child's care and well being disrespected go here otherwise seek other care elsewhere...... Just an after thought later while visiting with his grand mother my son told her that he didn't like that doctor because wouldn't let his dad come with him and he didn't want to go back and he didn't like the mask on his face which is what I was trying to tell the Dr who would have no part of it

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 9+ years with our kiddos and they always do a fabulous job. As your kids get older they start letting them come back by themselves and parents join later, which helps build their confidence for future dental visits by themselves as teens & adults. Both our kids love going to the dentist even when it’s for something less fun like extractions. We love EPD!

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Dr. Jeff and the staff here enough. My little one had been so nervous to go to the dentist the first time a few years ago and now he loves and embraces it. We had to have some caps put on him earlier this year and that process was quick and they made it as easy and comfortable as possible for him. The staff is always friendly as well. I appreciate everyone here so much!

Fantastic experience: The office layout is well thought out for kids. My four year old twins were begging to go to the dentist this morning. We arrived early because they were so excited to go. They liked playing with the toys and picking something from the treasure box. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Hiester helped the twins feel at ease and comfortable. He did a great job explaining what areas to focus on when brushing, and what we are doing well that we can continue to do.

Everyone there, especially the dentist appears to love their job! I've been taking my kids there since they were 2 years old. It's been a joy to work with them and have every confidence they have my kids care of utmost importance.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jeff Heister and his staff are professional and friendly. I have three kiddos that have been going since age 5. They are relaxed and are given support and compassion if something "tough or scary" comes up. They do distract the kiddos with age-appropriate movies on a TV the kids can watch while getting cleanings/work done. Their lobby has an attached rec room for kids up to 10-11 to be entertained while waiting. Which, btw, is never more than 5-10 minutes. All staff are friendly and no doubt, love the work they do in our community. Thanks for all you do!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my kids to Evansville pediatrics dentistry for years. They are always so good with the kids, even when the kids don't want to go! My kids have always wanted to go back to the dentist after that initial visit. This says a lot that the kids aren't afraid to go. I feel Dr Heister is an excellent dentist and does very well with the kids as well. I've never had any issues with the office. Would highly recommend them.

My boy was a little scared at first but once the doc came in, he let the doctor do his exam and brushed his teeth. My boy had zero cavities. I was so impressed with how patient everyone was and the atmosphere was awesome and very kid friendly. My boy loved the toy rom, gameboy and even the puzzle in the exam room!

They make sure our children are greeted with a smile, answer any and all questions we may have, and ensure that their experience is the best it can be considering the circumstances. We have hardly ever had to wait to be seen, and regardless of the work needed done, we are leaving the office in about an hours time. I would recommend this dental office to anyone with kiddos!

Fantastic experience: I have two boys one who is 5 and one that is 3. My three year old is special needs and has a difficult time with dentist offices. They were so wonderful with both my boys. The dentist was patient and had different methods to make each of them comfortable. They answered any questions that I had. I will recommend them to many of my friends.
