Negative experience: I took my son for his first dental appointment it was the worst and they traumatized my son so much that he doesn't want to ever go back to a dentist just because you put some broken toys and some books with staples in your office does not Make you a kids dentist they have 3 dental chairs cram next to each other in a small room with about 11 people in this small room 3 people per chair plus another to walking back and forth the worst experience

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ivy is amazing! She always makes my daughters feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. They LOVE going to the dentist! They literally count down the days until they get to see her! The waiting room is warm, fun, and inviting, and the receptionist is always so welcoming and friendly. We always have a wonderful experience and highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been very scared of the dentist in the past but now that we’ve been going to grin garden for about 2 years she loves going to the dentist. Everyone there is so sweet and patient. They are really good with kids who have a lot of anxiety about the dentist. They are also amazing dentist I really feel like my kids are in great hands there.

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric dental practice in Burbank and beyond. The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable. I have been bringing my kids to Dr. Ivy since the ages of 6 yrs and 7 yrs old. They and both teenagers now. Their experience has always been positive thus never feared coming to their appointments. I highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ivy and her team! We switched to her office after being with another pediatric dental group for years, and I can confidently say it was the best decision we could have made. Her approach is so gentle and practical and she never pushes invasive or expensive procedures that aren't necessary. My son had a sort of "pre-cavity" area on one of his baby molars and because it will likely fall out in a year or so, she didn't push for novocaine and drilling as our past dentist would have done - costing us $$$$ on a tooth that was bound for the tooth fairy anyway! She was able to safeguard the area using a different, more modern approach that was much less invasive and not traumatizing (because let's be honest, drilling in a kid's tooth is no fun for anyone). She's very hip to all the newer, more progressive forms of dentistry so we always knows our kids are getting the best, most up-to-date care. Also, as a mom to 3 little kids herself, she is acutely aware of how apprehensive kids can be about the dentist and she is so patient and loving with my kids that they basically don't want to leave her office. Not to mention she has the cutest, most kid-friendly office in town. This office is truly a gem—I couldn’t recommend Dr. Ivy and her wonderful team more!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ivy is one of the kindest, calmest and empathetic practioners I know. She treats children as their whole selves, introducing herself, asking for consent, and describing things in child-friendly language. She also is very eco-conscious and keeps a creatively decorated office. She is also a mom and listens to the concerns of parents without rushing them. Her office doesn't accept our HMO insurance and we've decided it's worth it, regardless.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! It’s the first dentist my daughter has been to and she loved it. She actually requests going to the dentist now. They’ve got a really nice space, and the waiting room is clean with lots of good toys. The treatment area is really cozy and the staff are all super nice and gentle. This is the perfect place to take your kids for dental cleanings, fillings, or anything.

Fantastic experience: We had our 6 month check up and a scan for my daughter’s Invisalign treatment. The appointment went great, the staff is always pleasant, and Dr. Ivy is always very thorough and great at answering any questions or concerns. As a parent who chose to go with Invisalign instead of traditional braces, at first, I was a little hesitant and even a little skeptical but Dr. Ivy and her staff have been great in reassuring that we made the right choice for my daughter. My daughter has been having wonderful orthopedic experiences. On top of that we’re always seen on time and the office is always kept beautiful and clean.

Fantastic experience: Oh this was first time taking my baby to the dentist, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. GG has a beautiful office and the vibe is so welcoming and most important kid friendly. The doctor and her staff were really sweet and made sure my daughter feel comfortable almost instantly. I was expecting her to scream and cry bloody murder, but she was calm the entire time. A testament to the doctor’s calming presence. I so happy we’ve found this dental office, owned by women as it’s not too far from my home. I’m also happy this is a place where the staff and doctors will be able to care for my daughters teeth throughout the years as she grows.

My daughter is extremely apprehensive about going to the dentist to the point of where she will put her foot down and not allow others to work. Fantastic experience: It was a really great experience for my 2 year old for his first trip to the dentist! Despite his fussiness (he cries pretty much anywhere that’s not the playground), he loved the waiting room! It was clean and comfy/cozy with a bunch of different toys that made him excited to be there. Dr. Ivy was very sweet and explained everything to me. She did the cleaning gently, quickly, and efficiently even though my son was crying and upset. It went better than I could have imagined and I’m glad that my son has such a good dentist!

Fantastic experience: My three children (13, 11 and 5) have been coming to Grin Garden for several years now. The entire staff has always been amazing, they are very thorough, kind and gentle with the kids. Even my youngest who had major anxiety at first has began loving Dr. Ivy and is eager to come back for his next visit. The office is always in pristine condition and beautifully decorated, the office has a very calming vibe and I prefer the beautiful green garden theme much more than the super busy and bright designs most children's dental offices have. Both my 8-year old and 3-year old have been patients of Grin Garden for over a year and they truly have treated them with such great care. We drive all the way from Alhambra because we trust their service. We first came to Grin Garden as a referral. First off, their office aesthetic is lovely and very child centered. Their lobby is filled with educational and functional toys to help get the wiggles out before seeing Dr. Ivy. Once in the patient chair, the team of hygienists/assistants are very welcoming and do a great job connecting with the kids. They’re efficient, professional and take just enough time to do a great cleaning while not allowing the littles (more so with my toddler) to grow impatient. When seeing Dr. Ivy, she equally does a great job connecting with the child, explains what she is doing in a fun and educational way and also takes the time to interact with parents to help answer any questions. It is an huge plus that this location also has an orthodontist as it’s nice to have one in-house as opposed to needing an outside referral. Overall our experience with Grin Garden has been wonderful and I often refer friends and family to visit.

Fantastic experience: 5/2024 EDIT: We have been to this office a few times over the past 1.5 years and we continue to highly recommend Dr. Ivy and her team. My children enjoy and look forward to their visits and us parents are happy they’re so comfortable there. This is a great office team with a most kind and lovely dentist treating your children. Don’t hesitate to try this office. ORIGINAL POST: Visited this office as a recommendation from our pediatrician and very grateful we did. There’s a sweet waiting/play room which my kids loved. Everything appears clean and tidy. The garden theme carries throughout the office and the ambiance is lovely. Dr. Ivy is kind and gentle and we can say the same about the team members that assisted us in both the front and back offices. Dr. Ivy made our children’s first dental appointment easy and enjoyable. We left with a fun bag of goodies to help the kiddos enjoy and improve their dental hygiene habits. Overall, a delightful experience and I’ve already recommended other families to the practice.

Fantastic experience: My son and I love the Grin Garden! It is clean and pleasantly decorated. My son plays in the waiting area before our appointment. Dr. Ivy is knowledgeable and very kind. The staff members are nice and gentle to the children. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It was our first time there and my son’s first dental visit. I was really nervous because I didn’t know how my son was going to react but he did so good but I do believe it was the environment that made him feel safe and happy. The office doesn’t feel like a regular dentist office, it felt like you were in a kids playroom. Everyone was so welcoming and my son loved it! I would definitely go back and recommend all the parents to give them a visit. Thank you Grin Garden for making our experience so memorable. :)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ivy is so sweet and so caring she took very good care of my daughter she had two big cavity's that needed a baby root canel she knew exactly what words to use to make a child feel comfortable like calling a cap for the tooth a princess crown. I'm so thankful and I was able to sit next to the room and was there through the entire procedure. The staff is also very kind and caring and good with children. The office is very clean with great toys for the kids to play with in the waiting room which helps the kid relax before they get dental work done.
