Negative experience: I understand that my dental health wasn’t in the best condition after not being able to see a dentist for over 10 years due to financial circumstances. However, I was disappointed by the way I was spoken to during my visit. When the hygienist saw the plaque buildup, her reaction was, “You have so much plaque buildup.,” In a judgmental tone which made me feel embarrassed and judged rather than supported. I came to the office seeking help, not criticism. Dental professionals regularly see patients who have faced financial barriers to care, and a little compassion can go a long way. While I appreciate the treatment I received, I hope the staff will be more mindful of how they speak to patients who may already feel anxious or self conscious about their dental health.

Fantastic experience: Top notch dentist! Some places treat you like a number, Dr. Smith treats me like a person and goes the extra mile to make my visit comfortable. Best dentist I've met!

Fantastic experience: First of all, I’ve always hated going to the dentist and I’ve had dental anxiety from a young age, that is until I had work done at Pueblo dental. They managed to squeeze me in their busy schedule for an emergency root canal, and made everything go so smoothly and pain free! Friendly staff, a very knowledgeable dentist, and they actually care. I have to drive an around 2 hours to come here, but I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else! Thank you, Pueblo dental team!

Negative experience: I visited this dentist’s office several times and brought my children as well. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this office or Dr. Smith—especially for anyone who is neurodivergent or has anxiety-related needs. At first, I thought he was kind. His bedside manner seemed good, he was gentle, and he even made a few jokes. He could tell I was nervous from the very first appointment; I brought items that help me stay calm, and I expected that they would accommodate my needs. They always called me back quickly, but after receiving the numbing injections, I was left waiting in the chair for over 35 minutes on multiple visits. They prescribed a medication meant to make me sleepy, but I didn’t need sedation—I needed help staying relaxed and regulated. I tried to explain this, but at every appointment, multiple staff members (including Dr. Smith) repeatedly asked whether I had taken the medication. I always answered, “I have a family—I can’t be drowsy all day.” It was concerning to be asked about it so many times when I had clearly communicated my needs and limitations. I did my best to accommodate myself by bringing a weighted blanket, earplugs, and other supports. My final visit there was truly awful. When Dr. Smith walked in, I overheard him speaking with a hygienist about an emergency patient, and he already sounded frustrated. That immediately made me more anxious, though I was quiet and cooperative the entire time. When he began administering the numbing shots, it was clear he didn’t remember me or my previous requests. The first time I saw him, I had asked him to “wiggle” the needle to make injections easier for me. This time, he didn’t—and he hit a nerve. I have TMJ and fibromyalgia, and the pain was intense. I yelped, the nerve pain shot through my face, and my vision blurred. His response was a flat, automatic “sorry about that,” and then he walked out while I sat there crying. The office staff member with short blonde hair came in a moment later. Her tone sounded compassionate and gentle on the surface, but her focus was very clearly on procedure and policy. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t truly comforting either—kind in how she spoke, but not in a way that really helped with what I was feeling. When Dr. Smith returned to start the root canal, he gave a few additional injections, but many times he only pretended to administer them. I require extra numbing to tolerate dental work—I’ve had four full vials before—and while I dislike injections, they’re the only thing that makes the appointment manageable for me. Instead, he gave very small amounts and then acted as if he were giving more in different spots. Each time he tried to work, I could still feel pain. After repeated attempts, he told me that he “couldn’t give me any more” and that I needed to either continue through the pain or leave. At that point, I felt like I was being treated as a burden, even though I was doing everything I could to cooperate. I chose to leave because I no longer felt safe or respected. Dr. Smith walked out, and the same staff member returned. Her voice remained warm-sounding, but her message was firm: if I wasn’t willing to take the sleep medication, I would not be allowed to return. She asked if I wanted to try again under sedation or get a referral to a surgeon. I chose the surgeon, because at that moment I just needed to get out of the office and compose myself. She said she thought that was the best choice, and the hygienist nodded. When I left, I thought I was the problem. After a few weeks, I now know I wasn’t. I was treated poorly and unfairly, and no patient—especially one with anxiety, sensory needs, or neurodivergence—should ever be made to feel that way. I don’t like speaking negatively about others, but I also don’t want anyone else to go through what I experienced.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, very accommodating on short notice. They made the process so easy and stress free. When I had issues they fixed them immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this office and its staff.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been several times (routine and major) and have been very impressed. The office runs smoothly, the staff is helpful and friendly, and Dr. Smith is an excellent dentist. He loves what he does and it is apparent.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always super friendly and helpful! Recently I had to get extensive X-Rays for my Invisalign aligners and was having a hard time getting those over to the company. The girls at the front desk (especially Lauren) were very patient in trying to help me get those over to the company successfully!

Fantastic experience: Early in life I had a traumatic experience with dental procedures and have had anxiety of it for my whole life. This office and it's employees have been the most patient and understanding of anxiety. The receptionist has always been very kind, informative, and professional. She deserves a raise. And Dr. Hadi Nassif had been very diligent in my needs and comfort. This may be the best medical experience of my life.

Fantastic experience: Very happy I gave Pueblo Dental a try. Pueblo Dental got me in due to a cancellation "the same day" that I called! I had a crown fall out of my mouth the evening prior. I'd had a root canal done to that molar with a dentist that was awesome but has since passed away. The Office Staff, the Hygienist & the Doctor were very personable. Thank You.

Fantastic experience: I’m 38 years old, and I’ve been to many dentist in my life. Every single one I’ve had a bad/so so experience. Leaving, feeling like I was scammed or in worse shape. Pueblo Dental is different, not only is the staff welcoming but the work was like I’ve never experienced. Top quality, exceptional, and to top it off they have tv above you for entertainment. If you want a Dentist that is going to do great work and not make you just feel like they want your insurance money then Pueblo Dental is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist here in Pueblo because Comfort Dental was my past dental place and caused nothing but bad experiences being rude, in a hurry, not showing any kind of empathy towards me as a patient. Today was my first appointment with Pueblo Dental and from the moment I walked in I knew it was a good choice. The front desk secretaries were very sweet and kind. Dr. Smith, my dentist was very nice and thorough with my x-rays. My hygienist, Alicia, who cleaned my teeth was amazing!..She was gentle, made sure I was comfortable and down to earth. So glad I found this place.

Negative experience: Update: cannot recommend with the new dentist there. I had two teeth done (a root canal that had pain since it was done and got very infected) and another filling that was left cracked and had to be redone. We came here to see Dr. Graves in the past and were nervous about having a new doc, but Dr. Hall is amazing. His staff is fantastic also...I wish I knew the name of the gal who did my cleaning, but she put me at ease and was so kind and personable. Great people!!

Negative experience: This dental office gives people $5.00 Starbuck gift cards to do Google review. It's long delays in the waiting room had me seek out a better dental office with kinder and more professional staff. (Downtown)

Negative experience: One of the only places I was able to get in for a bi annual check up. Every other place I contacted was booked until September. I’ve never had to book a cleaning and a check up separately, so when I came in my appointment was 15 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of x-rays and the dentist sticking a mirror in my mouth for 10 seconds. Wouldn’t have come in for just that so it felt like a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Great experience - went in for a checkup & cleaning and I was lucky enough to get the full cleaning, both sides - in 1 visit. Felisha was really thorough, and made sure I had all the info needed to be prepped for my next visit. Definitely recommend, staff are all friendly, helpful, & informative. I had to have 2 caps and a few fillings. Plus i had a terrible filling in a front tooth, n he just asked if id like it fixed!!! I cant wait to get my permanent caps so i can love my whole smile!! Negative experience: My husband had Snap In’s done & they did not know what they were doing now we are stuck with having to pay a Periodontist and a Dentist to fix their Faulty work. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I was really scared about going to the dentist, I haven't gone in a long while because of it. The staff is so nice, and I was afraid with my previous experiences at other dental offices they were going to want to pull my tooth. I was so relieved when the doctor told me he could save my tooth. I'm so grateful, and will be continuing all my dental stuff with Pueblo Dental.

Negative experience: Initially went in for a chipped tooth and it was filled by Dr Hall. I had discomfort/ severe sensitivity and an absess starting almost immediately. I was nervous about coming back to this place due to how the last visit went and how I felt like nothing was fixed. I had went to another dentist for a second opinion about 6 months ago and they told me the filling was jammed into my nerve. Jump forward a year later, I have to get a root canal and pay out of pocket or remove the whole tooth, as medicaid doesnt cover that. Medicaid covered the initial filling I thought would be my solution to a chipped tooth. This is disheartening as I had hopes a year ago that this tooth would have been fixed and I wouldn't have to remove it. My problematic tooth has caused more issues to the surrounding teeth and that wasn't addressed either. Is my bottom tooth cracked because of how I have had to compensate while chewing? I don't know, it was never examined. On top of that, the tools that came out of the "sterile" bag were covered in "composite" and it made me feel very uncomfortable seeing the tools covered in something. Those tools would be going into my mouth, why keep tools that the composite cannot come off of? It had even mis-shapened the entire picking tool itself, so how is that tool effective anymore if it didn't have its original shape due to the caked on composite? Very disappointed in this place and their work on fillings/fixing a tooth. Pulling teeth is easy, you don't have to have special skills for that one.

Fantastic experience: Every experience I have had with pueblo dental has been great. They are gentle and the doctor I have seen (his name escapes me) has been very upbeat and involved with his patient’s care

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this place for years. They've always treated me well. Never made me feel judged in anyway. I've had several root canals done here along with fillings and normal stuff. Only scary thing for me is the numbing. I hate them and they wear off so fast but all I gotta do is raise my hand and I get more numbing injection. Today 4-4-23 I brought my 4yr old here hoping he'd do better with them, wow, he did great. My kid is afraid of everything and bite's throws up and all that. They all were great with him. No fear no biting nothing but a happy boy. It was great to see, he used to go to the children's dental and that place was so cold and uninviting. There I felt judged, I highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience ever! My 87 yr old Mother supposedly had a root canal. No post treatment instructions. Said they would fax RX to the nursing home, Nope! No pain meds. Let her walk out to the parking lot alone! No emergency contact phone #!!! I'm filing a Medicaid discrimination complaint!!!

Negative experience: I used to love this place but the lady who does the X-rays n takes over fillings is incompetent. I have been here since Dr graves. I am not upset w Dr.Hall however. He's kind but I can't stay do to the main tech lady . She acted scared to drill my mouth. Couldn't figure out how to work the x-ray machine was using Ziploc bags to bite on instead of real medical grade stuff......

Negative experience: 1 st year how I felt : I am one big nervous wreck when it comes to the dentist. Nevertheless the staff made me and my wife feel so comfortable. 2nd year and ❌❌ and wow I moved to NC after getting an X-ray today 06/06/2022 it looks like the root canal this place did was not a success after all. Fantastic experience: Soo far I got in they seen me right away. They helped me find my insurance information from my job. That was super helpful. They have a little area for my kid to chill while I'm doing dentist business. The staff is nice so far. They scheduled me in for a cleaning about a week away from this appointment. That is also super convenient. I can't find any dentist that has availability like that. It's a 5star so far I've been nervous about changing my dentist. I think I picked a good one. I'm excited

Fantastic experience: Great office....from the office staff to the medical staff, to Dr. Hall. Everyone was friendly and I got the best teeth cleaning and exam ever. Dr. Hall filled my chipped tooth, which I appreciated that it was actually him that did it. Other offices I've been too had the hygienists do all that stuff. I would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this dentist office since Dr. Gary Graves owned it and never had issue with it until Dr. Hall took over. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a great dental office but they only have one hygienist and because of that I have to wait months to be seen and then I get canceled on. I changed my phone number and I gave it to them multiple times but for whatever reason they won’t save my new number and use that as an excuse on why they haven’t contacted me for a new appointment. I finally had my last straw with this office this morning when I called to see when I was supposed to get a new appointment and receptionist told me that they were booked out until OCTOBER!! I’ve been waiting to get seen since May but they had to cancel because the hygienist caught Covid and they never called me back because they neglected yet again to update my phone number. I’m sick of having to wait months on end to get seen and even then that doesn’t happen because they’re always canceling on me. I had told the receptionist that I was going to find a new dentist because this is ridiculous, she proceeded to make an appointment and put me on the “ASAP” list whatever that means but I wasn’t having it. I hung up and called Comfort Dental and I have an appointment to get seen NEXT WEEK, not in flipping October. I called back the receptionist and told her to cancel my appointment because I’m going somewhere else, she tried to get me stay by scheduling me this week *eye roll* NOW they want to see me now that I informed them I’m leaving their office. I told her no thank you because I have work at the time of the appointment and won’t be available until NEXT Thursday. I thought she canceled but then I got a call while I was working trying to get me in this Thursday. I told her again no thank you I’m going to go somewhere else because I am fed up with months at a time waiting and constant cancellations. This is heartbreaking because I’ve been at this dental office for 14 years and now I have to leave because their scheduling system sucks and they only have one flipping hygienist. I’m done with office. I usually recommend my friends/family to come here but I won’t be doing that anymore.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly, got in same day and got all my dental work done in a timely manner. The dentist is great he is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. I still need to go back for another tooth to be fixed but I know I'm in good hands. Ill be taking my kids here. Its nice to go to a dentist you feel comfortable with and know you'll get great service. The office is clean too. I've been to other dentist here in Pueblo and this one surpassed them all. Happy to have found them and have a new family dentist!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing. I use to be terrified of dentists after my last incident in upstate New York. But these wonderful staff have restored my faith in wanting to go to the dentists again. I had recently had 4 wisdom teeth removed on February 11th, 2021. They were understanding of my situation and even though I am a Medicaid patient treated me very warmly and welcoming. Sometimes I feel is Medicaid patients are treated different. They are very good with pain management and make sure you feel comfortable the whole time. I did not even feel the initial sting you usually feel with novacane shots. I 110% recommend this place. :) thanks again Pueblo dental!!

Positive experience: The dental/perio work is excellent, and the staff are careful and kind. However, I have mentioned to them several times over the past couple years that they need to put hooks on the door of the restroom, so a person can hang their coat, their purse, or their cane. I've been mentioning this for a long time, and the situation remains. My cane lies on the floor, from which I can hardly retrieve it, given my conditions, because sometimes it won't stay leaning against the wall; my coat also is on the floor. I've learned to use my coat pockets instead of a purse, so that a purse also would not be on the floor. Patty, the front desk assistant, was often the one that called and checked me in today and she's even more knowledgeable and fantastic than I could remember. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff and dentist. I am 33 weeks pregnant and they took every precaution and were gentle. I am also terrified of dental procedures but each and everyone of their staff members and Dr. Hall made me feel safe and comfortable.
