Negative experience: At home for the holidays, cracked my tooth. Went to this dentist office, told me I had a cracked tooth and he could fix it after his two week vacation which started tomorrow. Explained to him I’m working out of town and only here for a few days, said he recommends I don’t eat on that side of my mouth and find someone else to do it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Smith gives the best shots and works quickly. He makes going to the dentist a much better experience than I've ever had. Hygienists diligent with attention to detail, receptive to concerns and report them promptly. Good conversations! Wonderful place to be!

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the lady at Front desk (not the one that does billing) have the sympathy of a sink and acted as if she was doing me a favor. I hope it’s just that she was having a bad day. Still, it’s not the clients fault. I do recommend the place, though. Everything else was educational, thorough, and professional.

Negative experience: Came in once, Scheduled a month in advance The day of the appointment nothing was done because they didn’t have “time” I had to take off from work and this was a big waste of time and money. I just needed a deep cleaning. Never called us back like they mentioned to make an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Good Grief! What a wonderful change. Upon walking into "my" new dentist's office, I was pleasantly and authentically greeted. I honestly was stunned at how real and how good that felt. I didn't have to wait long at all. Sharon ___ started me off with an extensive x-ray session and evaluation of my teeth. I laughed a lot and could really relate to her. Then Dr. Smith came in and again I was struck by how authentically kind he was. I've seen many dentists as I have moved a lot in my life. He struck me as being well-grounded, experienced, and savvy. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: In an earlier review I noted, "short, sweet and to the point". However, now that we have had some time with this office and Dr. Smith, that is no longer the case. My son waited 2 weeks for an urgent appointment because the doctor was on vacation and the staff did not help refer elsewhere. We were finally seen yesterday and the office had no documentation of the numerous phone conversations prior. The doctor was rude, abrupt, and condescending to my son and I. It was almost as if we were a burden. This office is more concerned about their personal lives than their patients.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient and everybody was professional and very efficient got out of there and record time and I had a pretty major procedure. I may also add everyone was super nice and appreciative.

Negative experience: They called me yesterday and wanted to get me in for a dental implant. They quoted me $736.00 to be the patient's responsibility. I went in today and they took me back for a full mouth X-ray. Then they took me to the front desk to sign the treatment plan. After reviewing and asking several questions I was told the insurance will not pay for the procedure. To my disappointment I was to pay $4750.00 as the patient's responsibility. I refused to sign and refused the procedure. What a scam!!! Mis led and inaccurate information. I've had several other "surprise" charges in the past. Not happy with this office. Time for a change!!!

Fantastic experience: It’s was most friendly place. They staff and dentist make you feel like family. I’d had a root canal done. It’s was painless and comfortable. They had payment options. I think i’d found a new dentist. I’d would recommend this dental office to family and friends. They accepted both of my insurance. The cost was little bit to high. Even after the insurance cover half of the cost. It’s still a pretty penny to paid. Overall I’d felt comfortable and welcomed to dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Was incredibly happy with my appointment on 01/09/2025. They were able to get me in for a tooth extraction quicker than my primary, and everyone from reception to the dentist were friendly, caring, and professional! They are a further drive than my current dentist but I was impressed enough that I may switch! Thank you! I feel tons better already! 10/10 highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I broke my tooth and was in pain, I called my normal dentist along with 4 others and was told by every one that the couldn't do anything to help me for over a month. Once I called here they agreed to see me within the hour and got me taken care of very quickly. The doctor was very welcoming and gentle, it's been less than 24 hrs and I'm not in any pain at all after a extraction! I've never had a better dental experience in my life.

Fantastic experience: Just saw Dr. Smith for a consult for a bridge for a missing tooth. We decided on an implant and he was able to start it today. He and his staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with his abilities to start this process pain free. I highly recommend this dentistry for anyone’s concerns. Negative experience: This review is based on a non-visit visit. An initial appointment was booked a month prior for a dental cleaning using Delta Dental PPO. When the appointment was booked insurance information was provided and accepted. Upon arrival we checked in and filled out the required new patient paperwork. Once that was completed we were informed by the front office staff that there would be no coverage for the cleaning and that it would be $99 out of pocket each. When asked why these routine cleanings were not covered we were told that this office is a Delta Premier office only and we had PPO insurance. This should have been explained when the appointment was initially booked. When I called Delta Dental I was told that this office did in fact accept PPO insurance and was still showing in their system (which is updated daily). The dentist showing was Chelsea Brennecke. I called back to the office and they informed me that she was no longer at this office and they would update this information. If you are looking for PPO dentistry, look elsewhere before wasting your time waiting for an appointment here. Also, FYI ... Delta Dental providers have still not been updated by this office.

I had my tooth fixed, filled and crowned all in a matter of hours. First visit. I am impressed. Ten stars.

Positive experience: Great dentist and dental assistance. Did have one person kinda rude. She sent meaaage at 7:36am to see if I was going to go to my 8am apt. Of course, I did not see meaaage because I was already driving there. When I arrived, she asked if I received the message, told her no. She said I'm lucky the apt time was still open and next time I need to respond to text or apt. Will not be held. I'm not one to constantly be on my phone especially when driving. If I did not plan on keeping the apt I would have called and canceled.

Fantastic experience: If you want to have more fun than a barrel of monkeys at the dentist (who doesn't, right?), Dr. Eric and the crew at Sangre de Cristo Dental Care are the way to go! They'll make sure you're as comfortable as a bug in a rug and know how to make you feel at ease and fix those pearly whites with style. They knocked it out of the park!

Positive experience: Staff were all very friendly and competent. I appreciate that the hygienist talked through everything she did, rather than leaving the patient in the dark. Procedures were quick, efficient, and sanitary. The office is a nice facility and the receptionists were also informative. I went in as a new patient and was able to use a new patient discount as advertised. I only took off one star because of additional fees that were tacked on to the discount, which is not abnormal in these kind of scenarios, but still a little frustrating. 4.5 stars :)

Negative experience: I have been seeing Sangre de cristo Dental Care since they opened in 2021. At first service and Care was great! Recently they brought in a new dentist, Eric Smith. He's very unprofessional, uncaring and will not stand by Dental care from the previous staff. Today I tried to get assistance and he basically said, " Too bad, the previous staff are not here anymore." Go some place else for DENTAL CARE!

Fantastic experience: Sharon, the Hygienist is an angel. As someone who suffers with severe dental anxiety, Sharon makes my visit as comfortable as possible. She is kind, patient, and most importantly, non-judgmental. Cayleen has also been very kind and helpful helping me navigate my dental needs and plans.

Negative experience: I was 8 minutes late for my appointment, but they did not let me in even though their policy allows for a 10 minute grace period.
