Fantastic experience: Absolutely adorable and well-run dentistry! We were seen right at our appointment. My daughter had her first dentist appointment (she’s 22 months old), and her doctor was fantastic. She helped Maeve feel calm while getting her checked for the first time! Filling out the paperwork on your phone is tricky and long, but once done, you’re all set on your end.

Fantastic experience: We don't have experience with other pediatric dentists, so I can't compare, but Dr. Wanda is absolutely fantastic. She's great with my son and somehow gets him to sit still while she checks his teeth. My toddler is actually excited to go to the dentist, so that's about as high of a recommendation as one can give, I think.

Fantastic experience: Love them! The whole staff treat my boys so kindly and with so much care. The dr is amazing even when my crazy 3 year old freaks out she’s so good with keeping him cool.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Wilma is a GEM and an absolute joy to be around (for a dentist’s appt, this is the highest praise). She’s so good with my 3 year old, so knowledgeable and has such a kind gentle but fun spirit. If we moved, I’d travel to come back to her. I had a tickle in my throat and coughed a lot and was super embarrassed and she was so kind and attentive to me while still being an absolute professional cleaning my kid’s teeth, I’ll never forget it.

Fantastic experience: The staff and doctor at JCPD are always friendly, cordial, helpful and welcoming. They're extremely helpful in rescheduling if any inconveniences arise. My kids and I are extremely happy we changed to this office. The office is always clean, and kid friendly.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Also doesn't open on Mondays and Fridays.

Fantastic experience: My oldest son has been going here since he was 4yrs old and he’s 14 now. He has never had a bad experience. Dr McPherson and the staff is wonderful. My 7and 5yr olds love going. My 5yr was scared when he 1st started coming but after his 1st visit he never cried or became anxious. In my 10 yrs we have had nothing but good experiences. The wait is always at a minimum we never waited more than 15 minutes.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr. Wilma and all the staff at Jersey City Pediatric Dentistry. I first found her when another dentist said my son needed a root canal and we wanted a second opinion. She was thoughtful about the whether to do the procedure given it was a baby tooth and considerate of costs of the procedure and recommended against it. That son is now about to turn 18, has a fabulous smile and I have been taking all of my kids to her for years. I wish they could stay young longer so they could remain her patients!

Fantastic experience: Love this place! Everyone is so friendly and the doctor is amazing. When she did my son and then my niece's tooth extractions, she was so good they didn't even realize the teeth were gone. She was singing to them while doing the extractions, LOVE HER!! If you need a great dentist for your kids, look no further.

Our experiences are always perfect -- not one complaint here. Office is ALWAYS clean, always smells good. Appointments are always quick, we hardly have to wait. Staff & dentist are all amazing, very well mannered. Now let's talk about the patience & understanding! My 13 y/o is on the spectrum & is never in the mood to see any doctor. So just imagine a non-verbal adult looking kid giving everyone hell but they all handle him very well & always get the job done. Words cannot express how much I thank you all enough for all that you've done for my family. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Been bringing my daughter here for 9 years! The best dentist Dr Wilma is incredible!

Negative experience: My son got a cleaning in July. Doctor says “everything looks great!” Two months later my child is writhing in pain from a toothache. I go to a different dentist for emergency care who is shocked by how big two cavities are in his mouth - one of which had an absurd amount of food in it. Ultimately, he needed a baby root canal and had two cavities. I asked the new dentist how often children should be getting X-rays per ADA standards and he informed me that it should be annually. Had this practice been abiding by the ADA standards, these cavities would have absolutely been visible given their size. I was also shocked to hear that the standard was annual X-rays since I can’t remember the last time she performed one on my son. My kid has been miserable the past three days because of their ineptitude. Never again.

Fantastic experience: My elder 2 kids have been coming to JC Pediatric Dentistry for years now and my toddler too now. They are never hesitant to go to the dentist, on the contrary they look forward to it and so do I. The staff and Dr. Wilma McPherson are a great team. Rest assured you’re making the right choice by choosing them as your child’s dentist! The office is clean, staff is very kind and very helpful in scheduling appts and are accommodating. Another big plus, they’re open on Saturdays!

He’s been to the dentist twice and begs to go back every time because they are wonderful and fun. They caught a cavity and helped heal that as well as some other good dental tips. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist!!! My visit today was excellent the wait time was at a minimum and even if I had to wait the Ipads, books and table toys keep the kids entertained you barely notice. Once in the stations are clean and inviting with music the hygenists are so sweet and and Dr. Wilma is the best. My 2yr old did not cry at all and they love "MR THIRSTY"...its great that they involve the children in getting their cleaning done. Highly recommend thia dentist for children.

Both of my children have been patients since their first visit (2 yo) and I cannot see myself ever switching them despite having moved twice. My oldest who is now 12 loves them and my youngest (5) is special needs and they are absolutely amazing and patient when it comes to dealing with her. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done. Every visit feels like home and I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist or if it is your child’s first time visiting one, please bring them here. You will not regret it

My son had two cavities prior to our first visit and she was able to stop them in their tracks with a great treatment plan. My kids are always excited to visit her for their routine appointments. The clinic is incredibly kid-friendly every staff member and doctor truly knows how to work with children. This was my child’s very first visit, and she was completely at ease the entire time. She didn’t even realize when they were using any sharp tools, that’s how gentle and reassuring they were! The place is spotless, very clean and hygienic, which gave me extra peace of mind. What I loved most is how comfortable they made the whole experience—kids won’t hesitate to come back here. To top it off, my daughter left with a goody bag and a balloon, and she was absolutely thrilled. A wonderful experience all around!

Fantastic experience: I have never been more impressed with a facility for my son. The atmosphere was child friendly. They all exercised patience and kindness towards my son. It was very clean! We were seen right away so they scheduled their patients accordingly. It feels great to finally find a place where my son feels comfortable. I also appreciated the fact that the doctor and hygienist took time to talk to my son and showed him how to brush, what foods to stay away from etc. He will continue to receive dental services from here until they say he is to old.

Staff is always great and best of all they always remember our children and treat them amazing each and every time.

Fantastic experience: Love this Pediatric Dentistry! Not only Dr. Wilma, but the entire staff. My daughter has been going there since she was 2yrs old (she's 4 now). She hasn't always been a model patient, but the way the staff and Dr. Wilma treat her and distract her so the visit can be successful gets me every time. So much so that when I moved back to NY I still go back. Happy to say that all of their patience paid off. My daughter had her checkup today and for the first time there was no crying, and she sat in the chair by herself. Proud mom moment.

They had amazing reviews and we found out for ourselves today that each great and positive review we read, they went above and beyond my expectations! Just walking in the door, we were LITERALLY welcomed to be there. They had his name on a chalkboard on the front desk welcoming him! I didn’t expect Dr. Wilma to be so gentle and patient as much as she was! The way she spoke to my son and showed him examples of what she was going to be doing with each of the instruments was so heart melting! Fantastic experience: Is this place for real? It’s so perfect. Right from entering the practice which is sufficiently lit and spacious to being greeted warmly by the front desk staff to the excellent hygienist to the absolute brilliant Dr. Wilma. Both the hygienist and Dr. Wilma are extremely patient with my kid and I can’t thank them enough for all the tips and tricks they share. Teeth hygiene with kids is so tricky and I lucky to have found this gem in JC!
