Fantastic experience: We have been fans of Tatum since starting there a year ago but today we saw their newest addition to the practice, Dr. Rios, who absolutely knocked a procedure out of the park. My sweet 2.5 year old had some early dental issues treated elsewhere and the treatment left his smile with some pretty harsh blemishes. She was able to fix him up good as new using a combo of distraction techniques, patience, and building trust. He is a wild little guy and she did so amazing he didn’t even require nitrous (which they had on deck just in case). Just some calm confident redirection. I’m so happy, he keeps asking to FaceTime all his favorite people to show off his ‘new teeth’. Thank you Dr. Rios!

Fantastic experience: My 3 kids (4, 6 and 8 yrs old) went to Tatum for the first time since moving to the Scottsdale area. My kids LOVED the waiting area with the play house and iPads to play with. The staff was all so kind and great with my kids. The X-ray process was very quick and easy with handheld X-ray machines! Very cool. The teeth cleanings were quick and my kids watched Disney movies in the ceiling mount TV’s while they got worked on. They give tokens at the end to use in gum ball type machines to choose a little toy to take home! Also they have my kids character toothbrushes vs the check and tiny ones their old dentist gave them. A great experience!

Fantastic experience: They got all four of my kids in and out in 30 minutes for cleanings. I appreciate the holistic and conservative approach. Dr Mia was so nice and not pushy at all, and the hygienists were so genuine and kind to my kiddos. Couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been seeing Dr. Guymon for years and have always had a great experience—he’s truly wonderful. But this time I decided to have my girls see the new dentist in the practice, Dr. Carney, and honestly… best decision ever!!! Dr. Carney was amazing! She was so kind, warm, and genuinely loving with my girls, which immediately put my youngest at ease. Also, she was very knowledgeable and thorough when it came to their teeth. Something that really stood out to me was how well she listened to me—she took the time to hear all of my questions and made me feel completely validated, which means so much as a parent! She addressed every single one of my concerns. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we left feeling so happy and cared for. So grateful she joined their team!

Fantastic experience: My kids cried during their first trip to the dentist... and now they get excited to go! We've been going to Dr Guymon and team for my kids' whole lives and we've never been disappointed. The newly expanded office and team are just a great a before. I love entering the whimsical forest and seeing the woodland creatures. We try to go early so that the kids can get game time on the ipads. Their "dentist shirt" is the one item of clothing that they never lose because they get so excited to get a 2nd token for prizes. They've saved every shirt over the years, even if they no longer fit. I love Tatum pediatric and am so happy to have then caring for my kiddos.

Fantastic experience: I took my children to Tatum Pediatric Dentistry for first time and had a wonderful experience! It was smooth getting established as new patients and the front desk staff communicated very well with paperwork and insurance. The office is super cute and my kids were excited just to walk into the front door. The hygienist was nice, and both 6 and 3 year old kids tolerated the cleaning very well. Dr. Carney checked out their teeth. She was really friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. Overall a great experience and we recommend this office to anyone looking for dentist for their kiddos.

Fantastic experience: Cleaning for both kiddos and first X-ray our 4 year old. The staff is super awesome, very great with little kids. They made sure each child was comfortable and talked through all of the tools in way that they were able to understand. Our children loved it and are already excited for their next appointments.

Fantastic experience: My kids have been seeing Dr. Guymon for many years. My youngest has a severe needle phobia and, at times, has struggled with various dental procedures. Dr. Guymon and his staff are always so patient and accommodating and we have never had to "abandon" a dental procedure because my son was too scared/uncooperative. In addition to a loving, supportive doctor and staff, the office is also BEAUTIFUL. You can actually feel the love that goes into this dental practice and they have somehow figured out how to get kids excited to see a dentist!

Fantastic experience: Awesome dentist. We had a last minute emergency and they were great in accommodating us before the weekend - even as new patients! Couldn't be more happy with the service, price and facility. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old and I had a great first dentist visit. Everyone was very welcoming and we were able to get an appointment for the day after I called. They were so gentle and patient with my son, who was not happy to be there. Dr. Guymon was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, as well as telling me things I didn’t even think to ask about! I would definitely recommend bringing your children here.

Fantastic experience: We have gone to Tatum Pediatric Dentistry for years and love Dr. Guymon. He is so great with my children just like all of the staff. My kids look forward to going to the dentist, they make it fun! From the fun waiting area, the prizes, tvs, and the fun staff keeping my kids giggling the whole way through the appointment- my kids don’t want to leave! I wish I had a dentist like this growing up. I’ve recommended this practice many times and will continue to recommend it in the future!

Fantastic experience: Dr Guymon is the very best! He is so caring with the children, my 8 year son had to get a couple baby teeth pulled and was very scared. Dr Guymon took is time stopping to make sure my son was okay and kept making him feel safe! My little one had his first big cleaning beginning on the this month, they were fantastic with him And he did great. Not only is Dr Guymon wonderful but his staff is equally as amazing! This place is so welcoming, full of smiles, and warm hearts! They care and it shows! A thousand times recommend!!

My 4 year old absolutely loves going to the dentist which was definitely not my experience as a kid. Fantastic experience: Brought my (busy) 2 year old into Dr. Guymon’s office yesterday for her first ever dentist appointment and overall it went well! The staff at the front were nice and inviting, his dental assistant (Sarah, I believe was her name- I am not great with names) was patient and calm with my daughter, and Dr. Guymon was quick and efficient! It’s always stressful bringing your young child into any type of appointment but Tatum Pediatric Dentistry made that process stress free. The waiting room was also a big hit! My daughter didn’t want to stop playing!

The staff was super friendly, the waiting room looked stunning - my daughter loved playing with the toys. Dr. Guymon was personable and informative - calmly laying out our options, giving out answers to questions we didn't even think to ask, and leaving us feeling like we were in the best hands. Fantastic experience: We went here for my two-year-olds first dentist appointment. Everyone was amazing and very patient! I forgot her name, but the hygienist was so great and immediately was able to help when my toddler seemed unsure. I highly recommend bringing your kids here!

Fantastic experience: This is our second time taking our 2 year old for dental exam and cleaning. We love the office and location. It's in a calmer area of Paradise Valley. The office inside is very clean and has a play area for younger kiddos and older kids. The dental assistant, Dianey is so great with kids! She was awesome! She was very patient with my 2 year old and knew exactly how to speak with him. Dr. Guymon is excellent as well! He's a pro with these kids, especially knowing kids this age absolutely won't let you brush their teeth. We will make this our permanent pediatric dentist for both our kids!

Fantastic experience: Tatum Pediatric Dentistry is my favorite place to take my girls. They are friendly, kind and fair from the front desk, to the treatment rooms, all the way to checkout! Dr. Guymon is a class act. He watches many teeth vs filling them. He really makes the girls feel comfortable and answers all their questions and even laughs at their funny and not so funny jokes! Highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a good experience for your kids.

I have 3 boys who can all get cleanings at the same time in the same room (its amazing & very efficient for this busy mom).   I have never felt like Dr Guymon was recommending something that was not needed (as lots of other offices in the valley do).  We completely trust him.

They always have their stuff together and the front office is a well oiled machine. They are always on top of everything and the paperwork process is a breeze every time. Dr. Guymon is incredible and I can’t recommend him more. He has always given us multiple action plans to choose from and explains the pros and cons of each without judgement or prejudice. Fantastic experience: My kids love going to the dentist because they have so much fun at their visits here. They love picking out their own toothpaste, new toothbrush, and watching the TV while they get their teeth cleaned. They get excited to wear matching “dentist shirts” and then picking out toys at the end of the visit. The front lobby has a wonderful array of toys and books to keep the kids entertained while we wait for our turn. Dr. Guymon is always kind and answers any questions I might have. I feel like he gives very practical answers and ideas because he has kids of his own and knows what is realistic. This is a great practice!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful first visit to the dentist! My 3 year old was so well taken care of. The whole office was very clean and well tended to, and very catered to children’s experience. The people are all so welcoming and genuinely kind. The hygienist did a thorough cleaning and spoke to all the steps as she worked. The dentist addressed all the questions/concerns we had. We opted out of the fluoride treatment and x rays that they offer, which they fully respected. My son already wants to go back! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter (2.5 years old) had never been to any dentist before. We had to see them to have the dentist take a look at her recently chipped tooth. We were worried that her fall caused permanent damage and that treatment would be expensive. We don’t have dental insurance. They offered us an exam, cleaning, and consultation on what to do with the chipped tooth. He informed us that it really did not require treatment and that it was mostly cosmetic more than anything. I’m used to dentists trying to milk as much money out of people as possible. He even said that she really didn’t need x-rays. The overall treatment was a great price. The dental hygienist was super gentle with our daughter and she ended up having so much fun (and had zero fear) that every single day, she keeps asking us when she can go back to the dentist. We went over a week ago and every single day, without fail, she says, “I want to go to the dentist!!!” She is very shy and doesn’t do well with new people (pandemic baby)… so we were in shock with how she did with the staff. They were so great. The office is also beautiful and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you guys for making my baby’s first dentist experience so fun for her! See you in 6 months for her next cleaning!

Fantastic experience: The best pediatric dentist in the Phoenix, Scottsdale area. My son had gone to his usual dentist in which he gets checkups every 3 months. When we visited last time our prior dentist told us our son needed his 4 sealants redone, he needed to have two cavities filled, and one of them needed a root canal and a crown. I had a feeling that something was not right. I called my ortho and he suggested James Guymon. We immediately got in for a consultant and Doctor Guymon told us our son only needed one cavity to be filled. James got us in the next day to have his cavity filled. James did an amazing job and my son felt comfortable for the first time at the dentist. We also sat next to our son while he filled the cavity. I am so happy we found him. Another amazing thing is the office emailed us asking how our son did and gave us his personal number just in case. 5 stars all the way!!!

Fantastic experience: This office was incredibly accommodating, clean, and fun. My son has had some awful experiences at dental offices and they were so understanding and attentive at this office. Dr. Baughman was incredibly practical in his assessment and explanation of what my son needed and didn’t try to upsale me on any procedures that were not necessary. We will be staying here for all of his dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My son has some really bad anxiety issues with going to the dentist due to some not so great experiences. Dr Guymon and his staff are a breath of fresh air! My son was having a breakdown for something as easy as X-rays and the tech was able to calm him down and get those pictures taken. She was so sweet and patient with him. The hygienist was lovely as well. She was able to get him to (somewhat reluctantly) allow her to clean his teeth. By the time Dr Guymon came in, my son was calm and even somewhat enjoying his visit. Phenomenal dentist, techs, hygienist, front desk, and the office itself is the cutest place ever! Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: What a reassuring experience today with my daughter’s tooth extraction. We have been coming to Dr. Guymon for years but today was our first procedure. When the orthodontist recommended the treatment, Dr. Guymon got my daughter scheduled within a week and was calm, caring, and precise for the entire appointment. Thank you Dr. Guymon!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, affordable prices, no up-selling. This was my daughter’s first dental visit and she enjoyed the awesome waiting room and had fun talking to the friendly dental assistant. The dentist was knowledgeable and did not try to push for X-rays or additional services. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: This whole office is wonderful. We have been coming here for 7 years. The decor is little woodland animals and couldn’t be cuter. The staff is gentle and kind and explain everything they are doing. The kids can pick a movie to watch on the ceiling. They always run on time, give the kids toothbrushes and prizes and the office is sparkling clean. An added plus is they have a room with 3 exam tables so all 3 of my kids can have their teeth cleaned at the same time. Dr Guymon takes time to answer questions and is very comprehensive. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: There is not any other pediatric dentist I trust more than Dr Guymon. We moved a little further from his practice 5+ years ago and thought it would be more convenient to try a closer dentist. After being told that our 5yo should get a crown for a small cavity, we immediately went back to Guymon. He’s all about doing what’s best for your child! Not how much he can put into his pockets! Additionally, he has a wonderful bedside manner and will make your child feel very comfortable and safe. I have both a boy and girl (my daughter doesn’t typically like seeing male doctors and has built a trusting relationship with Dr Guymon). I highly recommend him. It’s also a bonus that his office staff is amazing!

Fantastic experience: My 19 month old had his first dental appointment with Tatum pediatric dentistry and I could not have been more pleased! From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left, everyone was very kind and welcoming and professional! The dental office is immaculate and very inviting for children of all ages. I was especially impressed at Dr. Guymon and his dental assistants’ approach to handling my very uncooperative 19 month old. As any mom of a toddler would know, all it takes is one thing to upset your toddler and you have a full blown melt down on your hands. Dr. Guymon and his dental assistant worked with my son when he allowed them, stepped away when he became agitated, and resumed the appointment when he had calmed down. Which allowed for a smooth and tantrum-free experience. Dr. Guymon has vast knowledge is his field and is very personable, which I prefer when looking for providers. I am very thankful that my son is able to attend Tatum pediatric dentistry and we look forward to his next appointment!

Fantastic experience: I brought my almost 4 year old here about a week ago, she was very nervous but Dr. Guymon and his assistant, I believe her name was Jessica, were both very patient and understanding with her. Dr. Guymon was very knowedgable and answered every quations i had. Even after she left, she talked about how much nice she thought the doctor was. Fantastic experience: I have young children and Dr. Guymon and his staff are amazing with them. Our health insurance covers dental for children, but I found that quality of provider was no where near as professional as Tatum Pediatric Dentistry. After attempting a dentist covered under my insurance we returned to Dr. Guymon - I am happy to pay out of pocket for the excellent support.

We have not had to have anything but cleanings for our kids yet but the hygienist was very kind, patient, spoke to our 3 year old very calmly, explained everything before she did it, allowed him to have as much control as he could over the situation. As a result, he did extraordinarily well. It could not have been a better experience. 10 stars. Keep her forever!

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office. The staff is so nice and I have an autistic daughter and they are so good with her..... So much patience... highly recommended... Dr Guymon is amazing and really was gentle and made my daughters visit easy. As a parent I stressed out but they always make you feel welcomed. My daughter was not a fan of the dentist and his entire staff made her feel comfortable. 4 years later she sits in his chair and enjoys the dentist. All 3 of my kids went here and we love it and they are just the best and very accommodating.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to Tatum Pediatrics since she was a toddler. We recently moved to Chandler and have tried different Pediatric Dentists and do not get the quality of service as what Tatum Pediatrics has provided us. Long story short, we decided that we would rather drive 30+ mins to be taken care of by Dr. Guymon. My kiddo only trusts him and his D.A’s for cleanings :). Thank you for all you guys do!

Fantastic experience: This practice and everyone I’ve dealt with in it has been nothing but kind, incredibly helpful, and great with my kids. Dr Guymon listens to my concerns and gives me kids an easy comfortable experience. So much so that they actually get excited when it’s time to go to the dentist. The front desk staff is so helpful and easy to work with. We recommend this place to everyone and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I have worked in the dental field for 21 years, so when it came to my children and choosing a pediatric dentist I was very very selective with who I chose. Up until now we have only had routine and preventative care which has been so pleasant!! Today, I took my 4 year old daughter in to have her very first filling. Fantastic experience: To my kids, Tatum Pediatric Dentistry is on par with going to a theme park- it’s been a week since our appointments and they can’t stop raving about how much fun they had and the “goodie bags” they received. They have been playing dentist and brushing their teeth with new vigor. I can’t think of a single thing that could be improved- everyone there was kind, engaging, and highly professional while working with my children and putting them at ease. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this place. I have a special needs son who is 10 and a very stubborn 6 year old son. They are amazing with them and so patient and never make us feel bad for outbursts or if my 10 year old is having a small melt down. (He is very sensitive to sounds and touch) I would highly recommend them to any and all children, special needs or not. They are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Our family loves Dr. Guyman and his team! It’s always a great experience from start to finish. I love how patient they were with my kids when we were new to the practice and my kids were a bit nervous. They worked hard to make them (and me) feel at ease. And now my kids are comfortable and love visiting the dentist!

Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience at Tatum Pediatric Dentistry. They are able to schedule all 3 of my kids for cleanings at the same time and the appointments are always quick and efficient. Dr. Guymon is great with the kids and everyone in the office is friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has Down Syndrome - so hardly any of her medical appointments are routine - Dr Guymon has been incredible!! He's been my daughter's dentist for years now and we've never had less than exceptional interactions with he and his staff. Would recommend him to any family!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at this office. For starters the front staff was friendly and our appointment went off on time. We have two boys ages 2 and 4 who both went to the office. The dentist took time to answer all our questions. He even had our 4 year old help hold the light while cleaning the 2 year olds teeth. Can’t say enough good things about this office. The dentist just gets it. He has four children of his own. Highly recommend Tatum pediatric dentistry!!!

Fantastic experience: I took my kids here a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Everything was clean and we were in and out quickly! Dr. Guymon even came out, introduced himself and talked to me about my kids treatment. As a dental hygienist I have high standards and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! They are very kind and cheering and explain every step what they are going to do in a manner that toddler can understand! Very clean office, fun waiting room, and each chair has a TV screen on top for kids to watch during examination! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Guymon and staff are amazing! They are so gentle and caring with the kids! They really foster an environment that is not intimidating or scary for kids! My girls actually love going to the dentist. Dr. Guymon takes and honest and realistic approach to dental services. I visited 3 other pediatric dental offices and this is the BEST choice.

Fantastic experience: My two-year-old daughter's first visit to the dentist was awesome! Thanks to Dr. Guymon and his staff, she enjoyed her visit so much that she didn't want to leave! They were so attentive, so playful, so sweet that she felt right at home! The hygienist even came out and played legos with my daughter before she took her back to brush her teeth. So thoughtful! We both felt well taken care of there and all our needs and questions were addressed. Dr. Guymon took his time with us and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. I'm so glad I found such an awesome dentist for my little girl! Also, have to comment on the office in general. Um. Wow. It was the cutest thing ever. I kind of wanted to stay and play too!

Fantastic experience: I came to this dentistry practice for a second opinion on my sons teeth. Dr. Guymon was very patient and kind, listened to my concerns and helped me pick out treatment options I was comfortable with. My son had a few cavities that needed to be fixed and he was able to do it using a mild sedative (laughing gas). Dr. Guymon and the dental hygienists were very professional and let me sit next to my son and hold his hand the entire time. I will continue to come back to this dental practice and would highly reccomend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I bring my two young boys to see Dr. Guymon and we always have a great experience. The staff is friendly, happy and patient with wiggly little ones. My boys are always excited and asking when they get to see the dentist. That goes to show how great of an experience this office has created and how well they care for my boys during every cleaning or filling. We're so happy to have found Dr. Guymon and this amazing team.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children have been going to Tatum for the last three years and we have always had great experiences with the entire team. They are very professional and thoughtful, and the kids enjoy going to their appointments rather than treading them. I also love the theme of the office; very soothing woodland. The kids wear their shirt almost every time too! ^-<

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Tatum Pediatrics to any parent! Their facility is really clean and I’m never there for more than 30 minutes for a routine cleaning. The staff is all awesome and so nice and gentle, my 5 and 3 year old daughters go and let me tell you my 3 year old always gives me a hard time to brush her teeth but with them she opens wide and never cries. They always have something entertaining for the kids to watch and keep them occupied. BUT my favorite thing is they aren’t always so quick to drill and fix an issue to make a quick buck and I truly respect them for that and always recommend other family and friends to them. 5/5 for sure!

The facility is beautiful, SUPER CLEAN, kid friendly and inviting. I recently moved about 30 min away but I'm willing to make the drive this place is worth it.
