Fantastic experience: Dr Ferguson is great! Keeps a close eye on my teeth and never does anything unnecessary. So many dentists out there making an extra buck doing unnecessary procedures. Dr. Ferguson is honest, kind and does a great job. Been with him about 14 years!

Fantastic experience: I have never had a bad experience at this dental office. My Dentist and assistant are always very courteous and through. I have been going there for years. I wonder if we can have soft music in the background? They made my partial, and what a joy it fits perfectly , I was estatic over the fitting. My 91 year old mom comes twice a year for her teeth cleaning. They always treat her with great respect and kindness. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I see Dr Ian Ferguson and he is the best. I get the best care and love this doctor! Very gentle and a skilled professional. Art his assistant was great too. They don’t make you feel bad about the condition of your teeth and Art was quick with X-rays so my gag reflex wasn’t an issue. I won’t go anywhere else

Negative experience: I felt safe and comfortable while in the office. However I did have to cancel appts due to being sick and the receptionist(?) seemed pissed and kinda threatened that I couldn’t make appts in the future if I don’t make my next appt? I thought they’d appreciate NOT getting COVID but I guess that’s not a concern for them now.

Positive experience: Due to CD being open late, it's convenient because I don't have to take off time at work. I have been in the office three times and not once has the dentist or assistant actually had a conversation with me. I felt like I was on an assembly line and they were just doing the minimal work to ship me back out the door.

Fantastic experience: I'm sorry. I have PTSD and I have adverse reactions when Im going through hypervigelence. It may not make sense that I talk shit but somehow the two are interconnected. I think this dentist and the hygienists here are really nice and professional. Anyway I've taken a vow of silence and am using an app to speak for me now. I feel better

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this location for many years. Dr. Ferguson and his team always take excellent care of me. I have had more trouble with certain molars lately. Dr. Ferguson is always careful to explain the options and give me good referrals if necessary. Bad genes might trump good dental hygiene? I just had a front tooth abscess. The staff at 80th & Sheridan squeezed me in for an eval and referral. Thanks you for your care and courtesy!

Fantastic experience: I have horrible dental anxiety and put off going to the dentist for too long and hit a point where I had no choice but to be seen for an infected tooth I no longer could ignore. I mentioned my anxiety while making the appointment online (which was very convenient) and was treated with the upmost respect and understanding from all the staff the moment I walked into this office. Especially from the doctor. He was kind, and gentle, didn't pry, was very understanding and non- judgmental. He made me feel understood and comfortable the entire time and I am truly grateful for such kindness from everyone. I am positive I finally found my new, great dentist and can continue to get the care I need with a lot less anxiety. 1000 stars to say the least for then entire practice and staff.

Negative experience: I tried switching dentists and went to this place, but the dental assistant came out with some things that just weren't right. I needed an adjustment on a bridge that had been done poorly at the clinic on Huron and 92nd; she told me it was fine, yet she didn't even touch my mouth. So, I do not recommend Confor Dental. I am really struggling with a poorly made bridge.

Turns out, having an amazing dentist who checks in constantly, a hygienist who takes her time, and a front desk that greets you with a smile makes all the difference. Been coming here for a decade, under all kinds of employment status and they always make it work. You got this too. Give them a call.

Negative experience: I wrote this review and in response the office called my emergency contact on a personal phone number not associated with the office. Very unprofessional. I went to Comfort Dental for a routine check-up because I suspected a small cavity and knew I had some buildup after skipping cleanings for a few years. The dentist told me my teeth looked “fine” and only mentioned buildup, without discussing any serious gum issues or providing measurements. Despite this, the front desk handed me a treatment plan totaling over $1,000. This included the “GOLD PLAN” that was never explained or terms provided. They stated I needed a full deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) in two visits, without clearly explaining why it was necessary. I was not shown my X-rays, and no alternative or more conservative options were offered. The whole experience felt rushed and more focused on pushing expensive procedures and a year long contract than educating the patient. I left feeling uncomfortable, pressured, and unsure if the treatment was actually needed. My advice: insist on a detailed explanation, request gum measurements and X-rays, and consider a second opinion before agreeing to costly procedures. This experience left me questioning the clinic’s transparency and priorities.

Negative experience: I have been in pain for 3 days straight now, I went in to this dentist yesterday as a walk-in. I even called before hand to make sure I could get treatment same day. I got in, was told they could not do anything that day. Yet took x-rays. Saw an extremely infected and broken tooth. They sent me home with antibiotics and ibuprofen and said come back in 5 days. They don't care that I can not even sleep, eat or work in this much pain. I have reached out to you about this issue. The answer I received was antibiotics will eventually help. Until then I am just screwed with not being able to eat, sleep because of this tooth. Now instead of helping me because of this review they are just refusing to help or care for me at all. ABSOLUTELY AWFULY OFFICE.

Negative experience: I've gone to Comfort Dental my whole life and never have had a bad experience until this past week. Firstly, I waited for around 36 minutes in the waiting room which was fine because I'm sure they were busy but no one greeted me for the first 20 minutes I was there. Then I had my cleaning which was done in less than 4 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. When I get a dental cleaning, I expect them to be thorough and take their time but the assistant/hygienist sped through it while also dropping a nub of toothpaste on my face and spraying water everywhere. I was very taken aback as I usually have a good experience. I'm not one to write a bad review but I was just very disappointed...

Negative experience: The dental assistant, the one doing the x rays and the "cleanings" was really rude. First of all, the x rays were extremely painful. My mouth was sore and cut up for days. The cleaning was the worst I've ever had. Barely did anything just slightly flossed some of my teeth (didn't even floss all of them). I don't think you can even call that flossing she didn't even go in deep enough with the floss. Then she mumbled a weird question to me and I didn't understand her and sat there confused and she rudely repeated the question back to me. I don't understand how you are going to get mad if someone doesn't understand your mumbling. The doctor and front desk were nice.

Negative experience: I went to this Comfort Dental 10 years ago and the dentist sent me to a specialist to he charged 3 times to remove a tooth. Thoughrt would try again with a couple.of teeth extractions and was turned away again to a specialist. Woulf not choose this place. They are looking for easy money with least hassle.

Negative experience: i have never been traumatized at a dentist the way i was there today. the staff is rude and unprofessional talking crap about secret santa in front of costumes, dental assistant continued to shove the 1800s torture device that they call “ x-rays “ machine down my throat after i was continually gagging and asking her to stop, it was the most painful x-rays i have ever received, after that they used the machine that removes plaque my gums were left swollen and bleeding for over 4 hours after my “ basic cleaning “ whatever you do don’t go here. you are better off with rotting teeth over a staff that isn’t even professional enough to not curse in front of clients.

It was affordable, and The staff are very friendly and patient which made the experience much easier. Also, many dentists make you feel bad about your dental hygiene (or lack there of), but Dr. Mayo was understanding and non- judgmental. No one likes to visit the dentist, especially me, and I would recommend this office to anyone that is uncomfortable with dentists. Thanks again for the excellent care!

Fantastic experience: Usually im not a huge fan of comfort dental but this location is by far my favorite now. How a infected tooth and they got me in immediately twice [my fault] and got it taken care of. The dental assistant was very kind and funny and the doctor was fast with amazing work. Very next day I can say I am pain free finally. Thank you guys honestly.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to the dentist and left saying I’m glad I went in..,Until Now! I called for an appointment and I was in a lot of pain. When I arrived the staff was great at getting me set up with my insurance. After the initial examination I was relieved to see a plan that was actually affordable. The Dentist was so professional and prepared that I was in and out quickly…Since relieving my initial pain, I’m actually happy to be returning in the future so I can stay on the preventative track…I’m glad I went in !

Negative experience: First of all they did x-rays on me and we did the top row in the bottom row at least three times. My mouth is cut up from the x-rays. They rushed me with the dentist and pushed me out the door. I had to take a moment to sit in my car to realize what had happened and had to go back in and ask why I did not get an actual polish cleaning with toothpaste and actual floss. I was told by the dentist that it got taken care of. I replayed the sequence back in my mind twice I did not get my teeth polished. I told the dentist the steps that had taken for the my service and she told me to sit in the chair. And have the assistant polish my teeth after the fact. I'm concerned about all the x-rays she did too much radiation at once and nobody went over my x-rays with me. Definitely considering trying a different office. I've been going to this office for over 14 years and it has gone downhill.

Fantastic experience: After trying to find a place that would extract a couple BAD teeth asap, and affordable, everyone wanted to do full set of X-rays and agree on a “treatment plan”, then schedule a future appointment. This Comfort Dental, Dr Mayo got me in the next am, simple X-ray, extraction and out in 1/2 an hour Today/ next day I’m already feeling so much better. Too bad I wasted a week dealing with other offices.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient here for many years. Staff and dentists are very polite and listen to your issues. You form a plan together and it is manageable, monetarily and time wise. They are open for extended hours ( in my opinion ) and Saturdays as well. Great experience.

Negative experience: DONT GO HERE!!! I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT TRUST YOUR HEALTH (OR POSSIBLY YOUR LIFE) TO THIS PRACTICE I really wish there were negative stars as this place does not even deserve one star. I was there 2 weeks ago with an infection, then this week for a cleaning, The pain was worse after the cleaning. I contacted them to come again and they couldn’t see me for 6 days. Ridiculous right? Marlena and Francine at the front desk have a total lack of compassion. Dr. Connie then made excuses for her front office staff, saying that perhaps they were having a bad day. When I spoke to Francine again about the refund they gave me, she was having a bad day again. Poor girl, I hope she gets some help with what is bothering her. I went to another dentist, who said the infection was close to becoming septic and Dr Connie Cubillos should have seen this in Tuesday’s X-ray , I could have died, due to their lack of care.
