Fantastic experience: I had a great experience and the place is really nice and clean. Both Dr. Mady and Dr. Gool are very knowlegeble and caring for the patient. I had cleaning with Eileen and she was excellent, gentle, and very thorough in the cleaning process. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: A Truly Comforting Dental Experience Let’s be honest most of us have a little dental phobia. But from the moment I walked into Mount Vernon Dental, all that fear started to melt away. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and full of joy they made me feel right at home. Their energy and professionalism created an environment that instantly put me at ease. Dr. Mojarrad was nothing short of magnificent. Before even beginning the consultation, she performed an extensive review of my dental history and condition, and clearly explained a forward plan that was both thoughtful and reasonable. And a special shoutout to Jeremy, the dental hygienist he was absolutely marvelous. Gentle, patient, and highly informative, he talked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Mount Vernon Dental turned what I expected to be a nerve wracking appointment into a truly positive experience. I’m so grateful and will absolutely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found this dentistry office! We were displaced after our previous dentist office closed. Not only is this a convenient location, but appts are easy to find that work with a busy schedule, and the front office personnel are friendly, responsive, and patient. The dentists on the team have been the best yet. I’ve never had a dentist office I liked this much in my 44 years. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: I felt taken advantage of. They sold me all kinds of treatments. It was like "I had to have this and that" and I didn't feel they told me the true cost of each treatments. The recommendations were probably correct (??) but it started getting annoying- and expensive. I don't trust the quoted cost of the treatments anymore. The staff, however, is very professional and all first class! Super friendly, caring and kind but unfortunately, I got a bad taste about their business model.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this practice makes me feel so comfortable and cared for. They don't chastise me when I haven't kept up with my dental hygiene as well as I should. Instead, they gently tell me where I should try to do better. Eileen, Anita, and Dr.s Geren, Mady and Abbareddy always provide outstanding dental services. Ebony Swann, Monika Sellman, Lusa and Jada and all the admin staff expertly handle the intricate insurance processing of my 3 insurance providers and make certain I receive all the benefits I'm entitled to.

Had a complex procedure after posting this review and can only repeat what I’ve said above. Highly recommend. 10/9 update - had complex work w/ Dr. Garlisi, another great experience, recommend. 02/26 update - continuing with A+ experiences with impressively skilled dental work. 3/27 Short wait times, wonderful support staff, great advice and expert care. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the one to pick. 6/17 update - met to treatment plan some needed work. Excellemt communication on what to expect and was able to make a workable plan, also provided a cost estimate. As always, incredibly personable staff, great and skilled dentist! Have initiated more major work at this point including extraction and implants, and as before, the surgical skills of Dr. Garlisi are rivaled by none. Highly recommend! 12/17 - Still the best ever! Continuing complex work, amazing how patient-centric the staff consistently has been. Treatment planning and cost expectations are always communicated well. Top shelf! 01/08 - Not much to add - completed implant procedure without a hitch. Amazing practice, best of the best all around! 5/22 - Another great visit. Hygienist was amazing. I've never had any issues with this practice - the staff is always professional, personable and kind. Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist, but this group makes visits very comfortable which is important for people like me with unpleasant childhood memories of dental work from "the old days".

Fantastic experience: This is a great dentist office - I'm very picky, with a complex dental history including root canals, crowns, veneers, and dozens of fillings. When I moved to Alexandria, I did my research to find a practice with the best technology and friendly staff. Great hygienists (ones who are thorough AND gentle) make or break a dental practice, and Jean Marie is the best! They are quick to fit you into the schedule if an issue or pain pops up, organized, never had an issue with my insurance (Uniter Concordia). I recommend them to all my fellow military families that move to the area and are looking for a dentist.

This is an update from before...and lucky for me, not a thing has changed!! Jean is still the greatest. Highly recommend Jean Marie's process has always been thorough and informative with me. But today she added an extra dose of patience and empathy. I arrived early enough to nap in the waiting room, but I still wasn't feeling my best. So lucky for me, Jean Marie was at hers. All my appointment have been timely and on point, so this practice is highly recommended for all your dental needs. Feb. 29, 2024 update: Oh my my, had the prep work done for my implants, and Eboni, Monika, Erma & Dr. Garlisi took superb care of a brother, got me through the prep process in good time and thorough care. My next visit should yield the finished product and I can't wait.

Fantastic experience: Their office is great - clean, warm, and welcoming. Their staff is amazing at explaining your procedures and expected costs, and always is willing to help figure out any nuances with insurance. I most recently went for an Invisalign consult and after reviewing the plan from Invisalign, the office refunded my deposit because the dentist felt Invisalign wasn't the best solution for what I wanted. I appreciated their openness and honesty and really felt like they had my best interest in mind.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the staff I have encountered at the Mt. Vernon Center for Dentistry. The office staff is competent and friendly and interacts with patients in a manner that eases the anxieties that often accompany my appointments. Dental hygienist Jean Marie Apa, RHD is highly skilled and very thorough and transformed a procedure I had dreaded (for years!) into one that was quite bearable. Dr. Abbareddy is my dentist and is exceptionally skilled. She has performed a number of complicated procedures from which I have recovered quickly and without complications. Most importantly, I trust her and thus follow her advice. Collectively, the staff at Mt. Vernon Center for Dentistry has done wonders for my dental health and has increased my willingness to smile and reveal my resurrected teeth.

Fantastic experience: I took my mom who is 80 and living with dementia to this practice yesterday for exam and cleaning. It was a wonderful experience. The office envvironment is clean, professional, and welcoming---very classic style. The staff are kind and professional and they did not rush us through. I do really like that the rooms are private and roomy too. Dr. Tyler Garlisi and all of the team were friendly, competent, and efficient. They also have accomodations in place for people with mobility issues. Thank you and we'll be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Mt. Vernon Center of Dentistry was recommended to me by another Dental Clinic when I needed a crack in my overdentures need repaired and the o-rings replaced. All in all it was a pleasant experience with Office Manager Ebony and Dr Geren's and his Assistant's (sorry I forgot her name) knowledgeable handling of the job.

Fantastic experience: Excellent first appointment at MVCD! I have been going to the military's dentist office for the last 22 years and although military medicine did a great job, it was great to visit a private practice with the professionalism that MVCD offers!

He was like an investigator analyzing the important clues to narrow down the prime suspect, but without jumping to conclusions. Truly wonderful work. The hygienist and front desk staff were outstanding as well.

I have never experienced a delay for an appointment or advice. I am within walking distance of a well known dentistry center however I drive to Mt Vernon Center for Dentistry for my dental needs. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr. James Geren for decades and give him high praise for his professional skills and patient-centered care, especially early in 2023 on a difficult root canal he completed for me. -- Later in 2023 Dr. Aishwarya Abbareddy guided the treatment of my broken tooth with the periodontist through to the finalization of a tooth implant. I am grateful for her outstanding professional care as well as that of all the dental and admin staff members. I give a 'shout out' to Anita and hygienist Cindy who have helped me in my dental care over many years.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so professional yet so friendly. Jean Marie will always be my favorite Hygienist! She went above and beyond today, not that that is unusual for her, to see if my insurance would cover a mouthguard. Which I have needed for a very long time. She did all the scanning today so I should have my mouthguard very soon. The dentist are great and the front staff is much improved!!!!

Dr Abbareddy and her assistant Jennifer worked together like an orchestra on my tooth and other matters. All the staff in this office are very friendly. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My 12 year son had an accident today at school and chipped his front tooth it was pretty bad. I call Mt Vernon Centre for Dentistry and Dr Rahini was able to see him right away I know they are alway busy but they make time to see him today .When we got there my son was very upset for what happened to him but Dr Rahini make him feel better fixing his tooth and give him happiness back.I can’t thank him enough for what he did today for my son I am calling him an Angel.
