Negative experience: I waited to give my Google review until today after I had to follow up in person. I have been a patient of this office for 22 years and have not been disappointed until my most recent appointment on January 6th. First of all, the office said that my appointment was adjusted by 30 minutes without telling me (they claimed that they called me but a text confirmation on December 26th had the original time and they never did call). When I went in, I declined an x-ray due to pregnancy and asked to move it to my next appointment. My hygienist also forgot to do the oral cancer screening. The front desk said that they would talk with the office manager who works remotely and get back to me. I wanted to transfer it because I paid a hefty fee for the in house savings plan. I did not hear back from the office and called on January 14th. The person I spoke with said that there was not a note in my file to follow up but they said that they would again ask their office manager. I finally drove in today (over a two hour drive for me) and spoke to them in person. There was an email communication that was never forwarded to me and they said that the services were “use it or lose it” with no flexibility for pregnancy or a customer who has been there for 22 years. Long story short, this office has changed a lot since it changed ownership and I do not recommend. I will be changing dental offices permanently and will not be back. Overall, very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Was in northside office New Years Eve Day for a cracked molar. I could go on and on but it was a great experience—considering the molar part. I feel bad I can’t recall names of the assistant and the doc, (I was kinda self absorbed) but they were both great. Doc had read hair though! Ended up with a temporary crown. They kept me comfortable and fully informed of what was going on. Very professional. I’m just about 68 and they were both so young for as expert as there work seemed to me. I always recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Smile Source North, for a cleaning. When greeted, I was told I had already been checked in- due to the online registraion service they provide. I was called back right away, by Riley, my hygienist. He made sure I was comfortable. Riley was friendly, thorough and confident in his work. I was also seen by Dr. Henneberg, who has cared for my teeth for 20 years now! My family has loved Smile Source North as well as the valley office for the professional, friendly care we receive.

Our family has had a couple of emergency appts and they have been able to accommodate us, same day, since they have 3 locations. This is a huge plus in our book. Mia was super gentle with my cleaning and it’s always a joy to see Dr. Niblack. He’s very personable and has a kind demeanor. I always recommend Smile Source to anyone looking for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’m half way done with my mouth rebuild. I had one dentist tell me I needed them all pulled and implants done. Dr Hennenberg was my 2nd opinion and I didn’t need to look further. I have a debilitating fear of dentists; as in - uncontrollable crying and fear. Pretty bad for an old lady. One of the kindest, people I’ve met. His goal 1 was to ease my fear. Goal 2 was to save my teeth. Here’s a before and after. Top teeth only. Bottom teeth next week.

Fantastic experience: Excellent!. April made me feel very comfortable, is an excellent teacher and answered all my questions. The Dr reviewed my exam and Xrays with me and gave me a clear plan of what to expect and how to report problems. Office staff were very professional and kind, and were able to provide detailed insurance and copay information. I am actually looking forward to my next visit; I never thought I would say this about a Dentist Office!. Full disclosure : I am a cranky old lady and not easy to please.

Fantastic experience: Missy was great. She was gentle with me and let me know what she was doing every step of the way. My PTSD was not triggered, which is a miracle at the dentist. I was getting my cleaning there because I had seen Dr. Jeff Henneberg for an ortho consultation and fell in love with him. Very sweet and clear. My only complaint is the price. It would've been $600 for a cleaning and xrays but was "only" $400 after I got the new patient discount. That's almost the price of a night guard. To be fair, I got nitrous which was about $115. Still it is expensive compared to other dentists I've seen. On the other hand, the price for Invisalign is more affordable than the last one I went to. I'll have to get an estimate for the next time I need a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: These folks provide excellent patient care. I had a problem with a tooth and they got me in the next day to take care of it. The dentist and dental assistant both were great and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I started going to this dentist because of good recommendations for the prior owners. Once they were bought out it was terrible. We were billed for unnecessary services that we had no idea our insurance did not cover without being told they were not covered. Then we explicitly asked them which items were covered by our insurance and were told items were covered that were not. It was an unnecessarily expensive to visit this dentist. They appear to be a business first and a medical practice second. I stopped going there after my last visit where the dentist was telling the hygienist the options for dental work work I needed and not even talking to me.

I am very fearful of going to the dentist which has kept me from going as often as I should. They never once made me feel guilty or ashamed. Fantastic experience: I normally hate the dentist office and always find ways to reschedule but not with this office! I was excited to come back after how friendly I was treated the first visit. First visit was very pleasant & simple to understand with going over my insurance and the costs for everything. Tiara was great with this and making sure I knew all my appointments! My hygienist, Haley, was awesome as well and very easy to talk too and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Happy I came across this dentist office! Oh yeah and the doc, doctor Colton was a very cool guy - I kind of want to hang out with him out side the office, maybe get a pair of shoes together or something. Idk!

Fantastic experience: Took our two year old to get her gums looked at. The dentist (Elleigh Bates, DDS) was extremely patient and reassuring, and eventually got a look at her teeth via dinosaur roar! My toddler got a triceratops from their toy chest, which is her favorite Dino, and she can’t stop talking about how the toothbrush people gave it to her! The staff also seem very happy, and have been nothing but over the top accommodating.

Negative experience: I was not happy with my visit yesterday. My hygienist told me everything looked fine but two minutes later when the dentist came in, I had a cavity and needed to have a crown replaced in order to fill the cavity. It can’t be both ways and certainly a hygienist can see a cavity when cleaning my teeth. I will be seeking a third opinion before doing anything more at your office.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually write reviews for dental offices, but my visit yesterday was hands-down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I came in with an urgent issue—a chipped front tooth—late in the day. They could have easily told me to come back another time, but instead, they stayed and took care of me. With a major career-defining meeting the next day, I was incredibly stressed, but Colton and Devyn went above and beyond to put me at ease and resolve the issue. This was my first visit to their office, and I wasn’t even a regular patient, but they treated me like I was. Thanks to their professionalism and compassion, my wife, daughter, and I are now loyal customers for life. Thank you for everything—you’ve truly earned my gratitude!

Negative experience: I've been going here for 15yrs or so. This is the first time I've been disappointed in so many ways. Just sad. I've come from out near cheney where we moved to 10yrs ago. Think I'll switch to a ace in cheney for next appointment.

Positive experience: Wonderful Staff, quick to get started with hygiene, but then there was a 20 minute lag in completing my visit with the dentist. Otherwise totally satisfied.

Negative experience: I will not be returning. I get a different dentist everytime now. The dental hygienist sprayed me with water throughout the whole cleaning. Then I was not asked for services not covered by insurance, which I declined every time in the past . You are not the same dental service I have gone to in the past.

Fantastic experience: Unlike another "highly rated" dental practice in North Spokane, Dr. Henneberg was honest, thorough about evaluation and education, actually looked at my teeth and showed me issues, and discussed my option pros and cons. He tailored my care to my values and preferences, INSTEAD of just trying to add a lot of unnecessary treatments (such as crowns) to make money. I loved everyone there and have already recommended them to others.

They were so welcoming, and it’s a total judgement free zone. I’ve felt like I was in trouble at other dental offices prior for not flossing regularly, and these guys made me feel like I was part of their family. Fantastic experience: I have never been so comfortable with a new dentist office. Explanations were clear and everyone was very friendly. And the dental work was painless and well done.

Fantastic experience: No one is particularly fond of visiting the dentist, but I haven't shared that distaste for many years because when I have to go to the dentist, I get to go to Smile Source, where I've been a patient for over 18 years. Everyone who works at Smile Source is relentlessly friendly and welcoming and they always seem genuinely delighted that you have decided to honor them with your presence, which, of course, makes the recipient of such enthusiasm feel very appreciated. Two days ago I had to have an "emergency" visit because a crown had decided to leave its implant post and go AWOL. Not only did Smile Source have an appointment waiting for me to use immediately, when I showed up, again, everyone seemed so pleased to see me. The visit went well, my crown was disciplined for its wanderlust, and they didn't charge me a dime. What more could one ask? So, two things: 1) Thank you, Smile Source; always a pleasure; 2) If you are reading this review to help you decide whether Smile Source might be a good place for you to receive dental care, let me assure you that making that choice would be one of the best decisions you have ever made.

April was my hygienist and she was equal parts professional, personable, and welcoming. The dentist was awesome and super knowledgeable, and the two ladies working the front desk were awesomer (it’s not a word but there needs to be a better word than awesome for this dentist office).
