Fantastic experience: Had an appointment for a check up and instead of making me wait to make an appointment for extraction they did it right then and there. Professional and kind in every way

Negative experience: If I could give them zero Stars I would had a family a family medical emergency. The morning of my appointments called to reschedule only to be told to find another dentist. Worse care than you will ever get at Chaz as well. Beware

Negative experience: Let me just leave this here in full detail. I call 24hrs a head to reschedule an appointment. Lady schedules me for the same day 2 hours later than my original appointment. Mind you I had asked for the next day at said time... Had 2 appointments made for that week. Didn't get a message stating the confirmation of this appointment either. Thinking my appointment was not the same day but the next I had missed... Anyways I make it to my appointment Monday have the work done that's needed and scheduled another appointment for 3 days later for x rays for more dental work... I call my job ask for that day off also make other appointments for the day since I'm already missing work... Apple valley then calls me the day before this appointment to tell me I've been removed from there scheduled appointment due to a missed appointment the week before. Just want to let others know the staff there has an apparent hard time doing there job... Basic scheduling and confirmation of appointments are something that is handled after the phone call typically, was not verified prior to appointments and literally have had to make other arrangements that are now costing me money in order to get the work I need done. I have zero respect for a business that holds a standard that's equivalent to a dumpster, so when trying to cover their own mistakes they instead of talking with the employee who did the scheduling call me and say I made the mistake which is an absolute lie...... I'd give 0 stars for this facility if I could... The hassle it's caused between having to find and schedule more appointments plus take more time off In order to have basic work done is beyond frustrating. I feel like they could have handled the situation better and have owned up to their own mistake instead of cancelling a day prior to the appointment which is very unprofessional... Not to mention the person that made to appointment hardly spoke a word of understandable English... And apparently she doesn't know what next day appointment for 10:30 means but took it apon herself to bump my appointment 2 hours ahead the same day ... I had asked specifically to schedule me for the fallowing day, due to a double appointment I had booked with chas health... Absolute Garbage... Hire people that can actually perform a job as simple as scheduling, and sending out appointment reminders so a confirmation can be made within a foreseeable timeframe instead of not sending one at all... Thanks for reading my review, it's a rant but man I'm pissed off, this place is trash and avoid missing your appointments because even if it's not your fault these individuals aren't hearing anything but what they wanna .. policy should never hold weight over doing the right thing. The manager there is also rude and has little respect... Not a good look.

Negative experience: Today was our first time going and it was a good visit. The dentist was awesome! He did really good job at explaining things to my daughter. Help her to understand. Very friendly very straight to the point. He had no mess attitude but also very nice. I enjoyed this dentist visit. You could tell he is very serious about his patients and getting them the best care. EDIT: I take back the five stars and give it a one star. After the first visit our second and third visit we're not good. I'm not sure where the first dentist went but they said he was no longer with that business. And he did an amazing job. Another dentist took over and she messed with the first dentist work on my daughter's teeth and then worked on my daughter's teeth with fillings that need to be put in. Since then my daughter cannot get floss in her teeth and her teeth are so sensitive. Including the ones that the first dentist did. They were not sensitive when the first dentist did them. But after the second dentist messed with them they were sensitive after that. And I have had nothing but bad visits since then.

The dental hygienist was super nice but a little clumsy according to my granddaughter The worse part of our appointment was the dentist He was very unfriendly and said about 2 words He had the worse bedside manner I’ve ever encountered!

The dental assistant who helped with my 1 year old daughter was so friendly and patient as she was crying a few times during her appointment! The dentist was great with both of my kids! Nick, a newer employee was great, as was McKayla, and Hygenist Sarah. I didn't catch my dentist's name as he was just checking on me, but he too was kind and gentle. GOLD STARS TO ALL!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. Dental assistant RJ did an amazing job setting me up and making sure I was okay and comfortable at all times. Dr. Paul is personally the best dentist I have EVER been to, he was so fast and light with his hands I couldn't get over how efficient he was! I will definitely be recommending friends and family to you guy's. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Negative experience: The dentist that we had today was wonderful. I will post his name when i get it. But the ortho side is horrible. They now only offer ortho services way out in the valley over 35 minutes away from me and now only see patients on mondays so they never have availability. My daughter hasn't been seen in months. They canceled her appointment in October and then couldnt get her in until December. They have always called me and texted me about appointments, ALWAYS They even say you dont need the reminder card because they will call and text. Well for some reason I never got a call or text this month so I called to see if we were close to the appointment (I should have put it in my calendar) and sure enough we had just missed it. They are now not able to get her in until February. Her braces have not been touched for months because they never have appointments available. I used to be able to get her in within the week. They have went through 3 or 4 orthodontists in the last year and a half also. I would never have chose this place had I known it was going to be such a pain.

Fantastic experience: No matter how educationally provoking I am, they all accept me and most of the workers--especially the males and everone this year--treat the client personally with a client oriented attitude. Although with retrospect you can imagine the past colorful experience, and this where the ending is: the kind doctor and I waving to eachother with a smile.

Fantastic experience: I called in a day before I lost my insurance due to my 21st birthday, they rushed me in same day and gave me a filling same day within all within 2 hrs from the phone call. The dr guy was so nice and made sure I understood everything that was going on since i wasnt using numbing. This was by far my best experience at a dentist and my easiest filling I've ever gotten. Thank you apple valley dental!! I'll be sad to leave you guys been here since I was little ❤️

Your staff is SUPER NICE, care about all their patients and are interested in them as people. Can’t remember the dentist I met with but he was SUPER informative actually explained to me why things were happening with my teeth and educated me, THANK YOU for that personal connection. Keep up the good work and the care you show for your patients.

Fantastic experience: They were all good people got me in on time. The doctor looked at my mouth for about 30 seconds and I was on my way. Too bad I had to use 3/4 of a tank and drive for three hours each direction for that but I was happy with the service I got

Negative experience: Don’t bring your kids here. My daughter had X-rays done roughly two weeks ago with I believe Dr.Cash (he’s amazing) he found one tooth that was starting a cavity but other than that xray didn’t show anymore cavities. She also needed 3 teeth pulled because adult teeth were growing behind the babies. No big deal right? Come in today to fix her ONE cavity and pull 3 teeth. They come back that she has “8” cavities and some are so bad they’re almost to the nerve. Where was this on the xray two weeks ago? I asked for xray images and I don’t see anything on them. I told them I do not want caps on my child’s canines. Supposedly the Dr was trying to be so careful while doing these non existent cavities she hit nerves and I either have to have them both pulled or silver capped. This lady says the xray images weren’t very good from two weeks ago but Dr.Cash was very thorough. He told me repeatedly he wanted to make sure I knew exactly what was going on in my children’s mouth. I don’t know the motive of faking cavities but either someone’s pocketing insurance money or they’re all taking turns practicing on my kid. Either way there’s no way in hell we went from 1 cavity to 8 in a matter of two weeks.

Fantastic experience: I think everything went real well. Dominic Maher needed a lot of fillings and you thought it would take 3 visits. You guys did an exceptional job and got it all done today. No need to come back 2 more times. Thanks very much. Tammy Maher.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to Apple Valley Dental since our kiddo got his first teeth in. This most recent visit, he had a hard time settling in, but Shelby, at the North Division location, was absolutely amazing. She was patient, playful, explained every tool, and made him feel comfortable and safe. My child, who has special needs and gets easily overstimulated, absolutely loved her;which is rare! Thanks to Shelby, he’s now excited for his next dental visit instead of nervous or scared. Highly recommend! And if this reaches you Shelby, you’re an amazing individual, thank you!

Negative experience: 2 stars bc the people who work here are really nice. But this company preys on poor folk. They may have the cheapest prices in town to draw you in, but they do as much work as possible, even if you don’t need it, and they do that work quickly and poorly. And no one poor is getting a second opinion since it costs $200 just to walk in the door somewhere else. Look around at that playground they have and all those widescreen tvs with all the movies. Where is that money coming from? I went in bc I had a sensitive tooth. They told me I had like 9 cavities, took a million pictures, and drilled. I thought it odd at the time bc that’s more cavities than I’ve had the rest of my life combined, but I’m not a dentist. So I let it go, but then discovered that they’d actually made the tooth sensitivity I came in with worse after all that. I finally told them I’d sue them if they didn’t fix it, so they did. But otherwise, they would have taken a bunch of money from my insurance and made my teeth worse. I’d go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The dentists and assistants at the division location are my fave!!! They take their time and do their best job, my son has had so many visits here and we would go back in a heartbeat!!!!

Negative experience: The Dentist I saw today didn't give me novacaine because of a slightly elevated heart rate, and the numbing wore off before they finished the fillings. I'm in serious pain. On top of that, she left my bite too high and left the back of one of my molars jagged

Negative experience: I went here to get a full mouth extraction.only to be convinced to save some of my bottom teeth.then come to find out that I'll have to go else where to get my partial plate because they only do full plates....wish I would of just went ahead and had all my teeth pulled from the start because now I cant find a place that will take my insurance to be able to get the partial that I need.looks like I have to get the rest of my teeth pulled out anyways.

Fantastic experience: 15 years off and on I have suffered with two root canals that kept getting infected over and over no matter how much time and money I have spent on those two teeth. Found out today the infection had spread to the bone. I have been dreading this day for years, but Doctor P. HSIAO, DEN, and his staff were exceptional and made quick work of getting those rotten teeth out! It was challenging for the Doc since they were crumbling, but he was kind, and he explained everything he was going to do and what I could expect. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for excellent service and kindness and professionals that know how ease the fears and talk to me like I will be okay. I highly recommend! Don’t put it off for years like I did! You will be in good hands, believe me! I left in tears of gratitude and relief! Now to healing! God bless you Doc and staff!! Tawnee C. Spokane Wa.

Negative experience: The dental assistant didn't know what she was doing very unprofessional and definitely don't know how to work with children, be aware this place is not for children. Chas dental is even 100 times better with children then this place I would give zero stars if I could Division location

Fantastic experience: Great dental facility. Clean, and extremely family friendly. The waiting room has a cute play area with a nautical theme, a movie viewing area, as well as a "sharkade" with monitors to play video games. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment to have my last 6 teeth pulled as 5 were broken off and one was now infected.the appointment date was almost 2 weeks out.had a cancellation and got me an appointment 3 days away.check in went smooth,the receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable.the dental assistant was very friendly,professional,informative,helpful,polite and answered all my questions except one that he immediately went and asked the Dr and quickly returned with an answer.the Dr was great.also very professional,knowledgeable,friendly,efficient,caring and did an amazing job on the extractions,sutures,etc.overall a great experience from first making the appointment to again talking to the receptionist before leaving to schedule an appointment for dentures.facility was clean,staff was very professional,dressed professional,(had great sense of humor also)restrooms were clean,parking was easy.all in all i give 5 stars and a rating of 10/10.i can't wait to return for the denture process.

Negative experience: Canceled an appointment the morning of the appointment. Incorrectly marked on my paperwork that I wasn't in pain (without asking me)- I have a cracked back tooth. Of course I am in severe pain. But it is extremely frustrating to be in need of help and not get any.

Positive experience: Basic checkup turned into a first cavity for daughter at age 10. It took an extra 30 min to fix it. The staff was fantastic. Efficient and great. It would be a 5 star but I am waiting to see the outcome after 6 months.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t go any place else. Highly recommend. I just returned from getting two fillings and they were SO nice. They also were extremely accommodating to me needing my headphones etc. I am a TERRIBLE dental patient, even being over 50 I can’t just simply go to the dentist. It’s a whole process.

Negative experience: The front desk was great-niece n polite. The lady who did the numbing was super impersonable. Robot like. The male who came in to do the cavities said two words to us. There was no talking thru the procedure no telling my 10yr old what was happening. No asking if She was OK . They had to add more numbing medicine because the first time was insufficient and only my daughter's tongue was numb. So my daughter was in pain afraid to mention it. When I said something not one of the three people in my kids mouth responded to me. I believe that because they were forced to stop n add more numbing the dentist DID NOT finish cleaning all the decay from my daughter's top right side molar! So I am hoping that in a yr or whatever that that tooth does not turn into a ROOT CANAL because of their negligence. Not a good dentist experience for any 10 yr old. Terrible customer service with no Empathy and robotic motions. Changing dentists for sure!!

Fantastic experience: I had to have multiple extractions because of an infection that spread, and wasn't responding to antibiotics. They treated me with kindness and compassion during the procedure. They've also been great with following up. I will recommend them to anyone who needs dental care.

Negative experience: Apple Valley Dental is great with the kids. I do love that about them. Especially when my 4 year old wants to stand up and bounce all over the place. They are great with her. My 2 star rating is because when I scheduled my kids and my appointments, one of them had been under another person. When I asked to have my child unlinked from that person, instead of doing what I asked, they linked my other child under the same person! So, when I took my child in to their appointment, I asked again and thought it was fixed. Apparently it wasn't. Typically, they send you a please confirm the appointment for ... And after you confirm it, they send you a thank you for confirming text. I didn't receive the please confirm the appointment for ... But I received the thank you for confirming. I'm a bit confused what's going on and I'm not too happy about this.

Fantastic experience: Not a fan of Dr. Ooph. Had 1 tooth removes and am still dealing with major swelling. He told me today, you'll be just fine. And prescribed more ibuprofen.

Negative experience: My daughter went in for a 2nd appointment today for fillings that were supposed to be done yesterdays. The dentist that put in the numbing shots was NOT gentle and she when she told him, he was a bit more gentle but still rough! Also, the fact that her appointment wasn’t completed yesterday was annoying and then to have the Dr be rough with her is very upsetting! I usually LOVE this dentist but I’m very annoyed today!!

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible experience about 4 years ago at the location in the Valley but today really turned that around at the Division location! The lady that helped me was amazing and so understanding as well as the doctor. I’m glad that I finally forced myself to come in and get everything evaluated and treated.

Negative experience: The fact that they text you, asking you to give them a review on Google is weird to me. Considering almost every time we go in they’re short staffed, yet they schedule like they’re fully staffed. What kind of review do you think I would give? You had one dentist there today, according to the assistant. Why do you keep booking a full schedule, knowing that you don’t have the staff for it? Oh yeah, money. Meanwhile, patients and their families are sitting around, waiting for hours. Makes no sense to me. The staff is usually friendly though so I will give them that. I took a full on nap while I was sitting back there waiting for my daughter to get her teeth worked on? Like? SMH. Oh-just to clarify, apologizing, doesn’t change anything. Sure an apology for waiting so long is nice, but if you’re just going to keep over scheduling every time – then why apologize?

Negative experience: I had a filling replaced at this office and was shocked to find out afterward that it was done with amalgam (silver) — without my consent or even being told what material would be used. I previously had a composite (resin) filling and expected the same. I was never given any options or explanation. After the procedure, I requested a call back from the manager and asked to be sent a copy of the form I signed. Both requests have been completely ignored. No follow-up, no accountability. This experience has been extremely frustrating. I value clear communication and informed consent when it comes to my health, and I received neither. Absolutely the worst experience I've had at a dental office. First and last time.

Positive experience: I had kind of a rough morning. When I first sat in the dentist chair, I started crying pretty hard. I have terrible anxiety. Luckily, there was an intern there who was an absolute angel! She comforted me right away, held my hand the entire time, massaged my shoulders, and reassured me about what was going on. I sadly don’t remember her name, but all praise to her — I hope this message finds her. THANK YOU SO MUCH. The procedure took a lot longer than expected because the first two numbing shots didn’t work. I had to stop the dentist twice during drilling because I could still feel pain, and he was getting frustrated. He told me, “it doesn’t matter what kind of pain, we’ll just have to numb again, but too much numbing isn’t good for you.” His tone felt kind of harsh, but eventually they gave me a different numbing medicine directly on the tooth, and that finally worked. Afterward, I think the doctor realized he had been a little short with me, because he kept reassuring me and patting my arm in a much kinder way. When I left, my chin, cheek, and lips still felt completely frozen. I had a lot of soreness and pain when I got home but I took ibuprofen and now it’s more manageable — just sensitive when I move my jaw. I also really wanted a cigarette (or even a vape) after all the stress but I decided not to smoke today because I don’t want to mess up the healing. I’ve just been sipping water and eating soft foods like ramen. I’m just relieved it’s over now. It wasn’t easy but I’m proud of myself for getting through it — and so thankful to God for that intern. Without her there, I would have had a much harder experience.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old son had to go in for an extraction. The anesthesiologist was very informative and walked me through whole the process. The procedure was quick and when my son woke up we were free to go. That was at 5am. It's now 8am and we're home watching bluey with no issues.

Negative experience: We had arrived at 315 for a 330 appointment and didn't get seen until 4pm then my teenage daughter said that after the cleaning and xrays she had to wait for another 30-45mins for the dentist to see her. We didn't get our until 5pm the reception lady said sorry for being so late.

Fantastic experience: I went to both the division and market locations and the entire staff was so kind and welcoming. The dentist do great work and get you in quickly. Best dentist experience hands down. Highly recommend them.

Negative experience: The staff was polite and it's a nice facility. But I felt like my needs were not met. It seemed like I was just a possible paycheck and was cranked out without having my concerns addressed. I was just told to go get root canals. When I don't have an infection yet. He didn't check for any other cavities. No concern for the possibility of fixing anything. Just a referral to get RC and a script for pain killers which I'm in treatment for. I'm not even in pain. Told come back to get your crowns done. Oh those are just little cavities. Apparently wanted me to wait until they get worse and come back.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice and friendly yet very professional. First time I have not felt a shot!! I am so glad I found them. I have already told my family because they can cater to children but treat everyone with respect and dignity.

Both doctors have answered my multiple questions and Concerns with no Judgment. Kristina was absolutely wonderful and underatnding.❤️. Kristina was a kind and wonderful, absolutely a blessing to work with. Sara was quick and easy to work and talk to about scheduling. Dr. Fujii was a delete to work with. I had so much anxiety going in but I wouldn't go to another dentist for fillings. They are just a wonderful supportive, caring, kind, understanding and they listen. Step by step of what they were doing. I absolutely loved thus team.

Fantastic experience: My kids were both big fans of the lobby, with their super cool pirate ship. Also all the staff were very nice and got us in and out quickly, whilst still explaining what they were doing and keeping the kids comfy. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at Apple valley dental and braces on division! Dr Fuji did a bridge on my top left arch and it turned out beautiful!! I feel so lucky I got so many compliments and the experience was amazing ☺️

Fantastic experience: Dr Fuji is without a doubt the best dentist we have encountered here in the Spokane area. Hands down. I would give him a 6 Star rating if I could. Grounded, smart and very good with kids. I will be recommending anyone I know to take their children to him for tooth issues.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and great anesthesiologist I was so worried about my 8 year old they explained everything got her in and out and she’s doing so great just an hour later I cannot thank them enough or be more pleased with how the process went. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: My son went to get a cavity filled and some sealants. Everyone involved was beyond helpful. They were gentle and encouraging, gave my son time when he needed it and explained the procedure in full detail. Highly recommend and I am so pleased with the service. Fantastic experience: I don't think I can recommend this place more. Offered several treatment options and were extremely aware of my issues and expenses and worked with me above and beyond any other dentist. You need great care. Go see these folks.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Paul is amazing at tooth extractions! He has removed both my husband and my teeth prior to our transition to dentures and we both agreed that both of our experiences were much better than we could have ever imagined. Dr. Paul's Dental Assistant, RJ, worked seamlessly and efficiently with him and they made a perfect team. Both Dr. Paul, and RJ took time with my husband and I to reassure us and answer any and all questions and repeated themselves when necessary without any bother. Fantastic experience: RJ was so awesome with me and patient with my baby girl Samantha as I couldn’t get a last minute sitter! He got her toys to keep her occupied & talked to her too! Front desk staff was super friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: Apple valley Dental & Braces provides an exciting adventure for adults as well as children , with TV and wonderful selection oof various shows to make it even more interesting. My personal fav was the excellent support provided by the dental assistant and MD.

Negative experience: The doctors visit was decent. Staff was friendly and nice. The only negative thing is that medicine prescribed took hours and hours to be signed off and sent to the pharmacy to be filled. Literally visited the pharmacy three times only to find out that they did not receive any medication order. Called the office three times (30 minutes after appointment, 3 hours later, and 5 hours later) only to get them saying they will get the meds signed off “asap.” The patient is waiting for pain relief and antibiotics to help with swelling pain…They will not know when it will get signed off so that means we do not know when to go back to the pharmacy to check to see if it’s ready. I’m guessing probably 5:00 pm when it is off time when the pharmacy closes as well. I understand that it gets busy but it is ridiculous that it takes more than 5 HOURS just to sign off medicine. I wouldn’t recommend this place as the first choice to go to unless you have to.

Fantastic experience: The people are really patient and helpful, Kind and courteous. They helped me fill out my forms online because I didn't know how to do it. I was treated with respect. All my dental inquiries were answered and taken care of. Thanks y'all
