Orange Grove Family Dentistry

Fantastic experience: I just moved down to Orange County from Norco and needed to find a new dentist closer to me. I was referred here by one of my good friends. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hygienist, I think her name is Kaelyn, that cleaned my teeth was so thorough, gentle and very nice! And the same for the doctor that evaluated my teeth. Everybody was great and I am very happy with this office. I will be referring my parents here as well since their dentist retired and are in the process of fining a new one.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and very helpful staffs, especially the hygienist Ms. Sharon. Her straightforward advice improve my daily oral hygiene routine. Also the dentist's advices are very constructive and practical. These are the qualities I look for in any professional field. I feel comfortable with them taking care of my oral health.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give them 10 stars. I’ve been to different dentist’s offices in the state and country. I have not been able to figure out the root cause of my dental issues. My dental hygienist was so thorough and so great at what she does she was able to figure it out. I am so grateful for her attention to detail. Everyone here takes their job so seriously and it’s so refreshing and inspiring to see just how professional they all are.

Thank goodness they could help me the same day to remove my wisdom tooth that was causing a lot of pain. They walk you through what they are doing and what you might feel so I had no questions.

Fantastic experience: I needed a new dentist since my previous dentist had retired. I was familiar with this location so decided to try it out. I was very impressed. Office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor was quite friendly as well. The office suggested what was needed, provided me options on what could be done, was upfront about costs and options, and was very patient with all my questions. Personally, I've found my new dental office.

Fantastic experience: New patient here! I was just blown away by the welcoming and positive atmosphere from the beginning of my visit till the end. Jackie at the front desk was so kind and helpful navigating the billing process, and made sure I was aware of what my insurance covered and what I would have to pay before moving forward with any sort of treatment. She was also on top of coordinating treatment with my ortho and oral surgeon. Dr. Kyle was overall amazing and super informative! I had several questions regarding a future implant, a filling that was done by my previous dentist, and how they would coordinate with my orthodontist/ oral surgeon since I’m in the middle of my ortho treatment. Dr. Kyle patiently addressed every question/ concern and I was pleasantly surprised when he and the hygienist read my new patient forms. I never experienced an office that actually read my paperwork, so I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Kyle and his staff. Also, shout out to Alexis, my hygienist, for the day! Being a new patient, I get a bit nervous with the new tools and devices they’ll use to clean my teeth, but Alexis was so kind and patient to explain what type of cleaning I would need, what devices were used, and the overall health of my teeth, which made me feel at ease. Before, it felt like a never ending journey finding a new dentist that offers transparency and genuinely cares for their patients, but I’m glad I found Dr. Kyle and his staff. I would definitely recommend Orange Grove to family and friends!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at Orange Grove Family Dentistry. I came in requesting cosmetic bonding on my two front teeth—a procedure I had done previously with another dentist. I explained to Dr. Kyle that I understood it wasn’t a permanent fix and that I wasn’t ready to commit to veneers at this time. Unfortunately, my interaction with Dr. Kyle was uncomfortable. His body language, facial expressions, and tone came across as unfriendly, impatient, and at times, borderline aggressive. Despite our conversation, he agreed to take imaging of my teeth and said he would follow up within a few days after reviewing them. Over a month passed without any communication from the office. I eventually called to follow up, and while the receptionist was kind and apologetic, I was told Dr. Kyle had decided he would not perform the bonding. No explanation was provided for the delay or the decision, and I was left to chase down an answer that should have been communicated much sooner. Overall, I found the experience unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. I hope this feedback helps the office improve their communication and patient care moving forward.

Positive experience: I had a really good first experience at my initial appointment this month. Staff were knowledgeable and communicative. I was told exactly what to expect and how much it would costs. Dr. Nishimura was friendly and gave me all my treatment options -- conservative approach, recommended approach, etc. and consequences of each.

Fantastic experience: Well appointed office, ample parking, modern equipment, smiling and efficient staff. After several x-rays had session with Dr. Kyle who gave me a careful, detailed explanation of findings and a clear treatment plan. Front office gave me the precise costs and my insurance coverage. Started the treatment plan two weeks later and everything went smooth and was completed without problems to my entire satisfaction. "I shall return..."

Fantastic experience: Best dental office I’ve ever been to. First, it’s the aesthetic. It’s beautiful inside. On the outside it looks like a sweet little cottage. It’s so cute! But back to the inside. It ALWAYS smells good and the decor is top tier. Welcoming and fancy. And pristinely clean! I know this may seem shallow but I could never feel comfortable with someone being ALL UP IN MY MOUTH in a place that wasn’t impeccably clean and the beauty is a bonus. The front desk staff is professional and welcoming and if I ever need to bring my kids, they handle my high energy kid like pros. They don’t have to do that! Last time, they gave him 3 toys lol (he needs things in sets. They didn’t know that). I’ve had the same dental hygienist for over 4 years. She’s amazing, sweet, gentle and she cares and remembers my special accommodations. That’s dedication. And Kyle the dentist is so awesome. I have a difficult dental history and he has saved my teeth, given me hope and helped me navigate when other dentists turned me away. I have enjoyed my time (4+ years) with OGFD and I’m a loyal customer even though I moved and live 45 minutes away now!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist and decided to go to my Husband's dentist. The online scheduling was easy to navigate, and I was able to fill out my new client paperwork online before my appointment. Everyone was nice, and I appreciated the hygienist's and Dentist's knowledge and how they took time to explain things. I'm happy to be patient with them now as well.

Fantastic experience: I’m definitely someone who does not enjoy going to the dentist but the employees here might actually change my perspective on it. Everyone here is so incredibly nice and my favorite part is how FAST they work. Literally walked in and was taken straight back for the pictures, then cleaning started immediately. They were even able to fit in a filling same day. On top of that, I’ve had pain in my gums for the last few years and went to a dentist that didn’t see any issues so I just figured that was how it was now. Coming here, they identified the issue without me even mentioning it and was able to fix it. I feel sooooo much better now and can’t believe I dealt with it for so long. 100% recommend them for your dental care. Already made my husband an appointment for later this month!

Going to the dentist is not high on my list, but Dr. Nishimura and his team make it vey simple. I just had a cleaning and was out in less than an hour. Fantastic experience: The entire experience could not have been better from the call in to the visit and everyone I encountered. I had somewhat of an emergency as I thought I had cracked a crown. In reality I had an entire implant that had come loose and was causing a lot of pain, discomfort, etc. Complicating things I was visiting family and live out of state. The practice treated me as their own and did a full exam, including full scans and showed me exactly was was going on. I highly recommend becoming a patient of Orange Grove Family Dentistry. I once tracked a dentist I liked all the way to marina del Rey and then drove there for three years to see her just because I didn’t want to find another one I liked. So that said I’m not the most pleasant patient in the chair. I started going to orange grove family dentistry about three years ago. The staff is gentle, kind, patient with me and very good. I have had several procedures done as well as regular cleanings. I highly recommend this office, Dr Kyle and the staff.

Fantastic experience: I think that for many people, when it comes to things like car problems or healthcare problems, it's like trying to understand astrophysics or string theory. We really have no idea what the professional is doing, if they're messing up, and if they're even good at what they're doing. Most of the time we barely get an explanation. It really all comes down to your trust and comfort with who you're working with. I've had some bad dentists in the past and never understood what they were doing; I just nodded and went along with it assuming they knew best. When I came in for a visit with Dr. Nishimura, he broke everything down for me regarding the condition of my teeth, what was done and why, as well as what my possible options are - the short term benefits/effects, long term, as well as approximate cost comparison. He also showed me all my xrays and explained what he saw so that I could see the issues as well. This way I could make the most informed decision about my own health. Most people also get traumatized in dental offices because of rough handiwork; some people in the field tend to be pretty heavy-handed. Everyone at this office however, were very careful and the cleanings were very precise. As expected of most dental offices, the office itself was kept very clean and tidy with nice paintings and music for good ambiance, a comfortable temperature, and comfortable seats. Coffee was also provided. Because the practice is a bit smaller, there is a lot more focus on individual experience (huge plus) and plenty of parking. I have already made 3 visits (an initial w/ a root canal revision, a crown fitting, and the crown placement) and despite having some more problematic issues with my teeth, I would definitely feel comfortable recommending anyone to Dr. Nishimura and his staff. I walk out of the office every time with more peace of mind and my teeth feeling much better.

Staff is great & somehow makes the usual somewhat dreaded dental visit a pleasant experience. Shout out to Tatiana at the front desk. Very efficient & on point with sorting out insurance & triaging appointments. Had an ongoing problem with my tooth that I thought I had to revisit Dr Kyle about but she checked with him & redirected me to an orthodontist for further investigation. Most medical front desks just automatically slot you in when you ask to see the doctor, so I appreciated she saved me an unnecessary step in my treatment process

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Orange Grove Family Dentistry. Dr. Kyle is friendly, personable, and professional. I went to him to have a crown put on and a filling replaced. He explained everything clearly and simply so I understood exactly what the procedure would involve and what to expect. After a few bad dentistry experiences, I am definitely a dentist wimp and was extremely nervous. Dr. Kyle couldn't have been better for an anxious patient like myself. During the procedure, he checked with me regularly to see how I was doing and was quick to notice even small signs of discomfort. He was equally meticulous in his work, double checking and touching up any potential problem areas. His practice also has all the latest equipment, and as someone who has gone to more "old school" dentists in the past, I couldn't believe how much faster and more accurately (and painlessly!) things could be done. Just by running a wand over my teeth, I was able to see a 3D model of my jaw. Dr. Kyle also has an equally great staff. Everyone I interacted with was just as friendly and professional as he is and helped put me at my ease right away. I had called the office and they gave me an appointment the next day, which I really appreciated. Fantastic experience: I have been going here for 1 1/2 yrs. since I moved to Villa Park. They do a great job. Today I went in for a cracked tooth they handled it perfectly no pain perfect crown placement. I called them yesterday and they worked around my emergency to get it done. They made the time. You can tell some offices are driven by metrics and what they can product and services they can push but you won’t feel that here. Glad i came back. Highly recommend this practice.

They always make me feel at ease and comfortable. They are very accommodating with the late evening appointments. Fantastic experience: So I have been going to Orange Grove family dental for the past few years. Let me tell you everyone from Karen working the front desk, to the dental hygienist to Dr. Kyle, do some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I ended up doing a root canal outside of Orange Grove. And ended up having to get a crown installed. So the crown was irritating my gums and was causing me some issues. Dr. Kyle told me that I needed to come in schedule a day when I can and he would install a new crown free of charge. Talk about going above and beyond called a service and I’m super thankful for the staff and I recommend anyone looking for a dentist to choose Orange grove family dental because they will take care of you. Thanks Orange Grove. I will be a customer with you guys for many years to come.

I reached the point of no return and had to find a Dentist. I'm lucky to have come across the wonderful team at Orange Grove Dentistry and Dr. Kyle. I reached out to them, told them my fear of the Dentist. (I had a very bad experience when I was young). After my first visit, I understood why they care. Dr. Kyle set-up my treatment plan and he discussed and explained the WHY. He put me at ease and was thorough in his work. Ive been going to Orange Grove Dentistry for almost two years now. They continue to make sure that my anxiety is recognized and treat me with respect. Not only are they here to help with my oral hygiene, They are here to make sure that i have the BEST experience possible. I now find myself looking forward to my twice a year cleaning. Fantastic experience: The entire team at Orange Grove Family Dentistry is exceptional. They have been great with my entire family, as they now have seen my husband and boys after I completed a couple of appointments. They take their time, are gentle and are very thorough. We have never received this level of customer service at any other office. As an example, I scheduled an emergency appointment yesterday (Sunday night) due to my crown coming off. Scheduling through their website streamlines the process and I was able to get an appointment for Tuesday. Today (Monday) I get a text early in the morning from Karen, conveying that they are closed for the day but that she would see me to recement my crown so that I wouldn't be in pain when I ate...to get me through to Tuesday. I was so appreciative and couldn't thank her enough for this. She truly went above & beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. I went in to the clinic within the hour. I had x-rays & pictures taken before getting my crown recemented. She explained what to expect during my follow-up tomorrow. This office truly is amazing and I would highly recommend them. A++++

They remember every detail of the prior visit from the dental work to the family/life details you share. The dental work never hurts and is always over in a flash! Fantastic experience: I've been to several different dental offices thru the years, and there are a lot of good dentists out there. Unfortunately, for some reason that I can't understand, the staff seem to be a different story most of the time. Karen and Sandra at Orange Grove Family Dentistry changed my thoughts about this. I usually don't go past a certain mile radius of my home for my dental needs, but I was looking for information on the "one day crowns" and this office had them. So I called just to get some information and Karen really impressed me with how Warm and efficient she seemed over the phone. She is the reason that I found myself in the dentist chair several days later where Sandra immediarely came in and made me feel very comfortable about being there. As if I'd been there so many times before. Then, Doctor Kyle came in and took a lot of time to thoroughly explain what was going on in my mouth, educating me and explaining all the options. Trust me when I say he took a lot of time, and he also answered all of my many questions. I was so impressed with all of them. Even though this dental office is farther than I would have chosen to go, I believe that this office is a keeper. Thanks to all of them for getting me outside of my box!

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist in Orange County! The office is super clean and everyone was so nice. The staff is amazing! All the girls and Dr. Kyle did such a great job at putting my daughters mind at ease. They all went above and beyond to explain everything as they went so there were no surprises and what could’ve been kind a of scary experience turned out to actually be fun. I would highly recommend them!

Came in with excruciating pain due to my wisdom teeth and they didn’t let me leave till I had another appt with a oral surgeon to get them removed. Fantastic experience: Getting a crown can be a little scary. Especially at a new office on the first visit. The staff were wonderful and the dr was very attentive and answered all my questions. Fantastic experience: Finding a dental office that not only does good work, but also has an inviting staff, is harder than you can imagine. Major plus, the office is updated and clean, compared to others I have visited in the past. They are always welcoming with a smile and it almost feels like you have known them for years. It took some time for me to find my forever dental office, and happy to say that I am here to stay!
