Sara helped explain everything thru my exam and when dentist came in Brad and talked to me about my X-rays and about what needed to be done very impressed with everyone in this office. And liked talking to Jessica front desk upon talking to her and asking about information on this dentist office I knew it would be a great place to come too. Fantastic experience: I unexpectedly broke a front tooth eating food at 9:30pm. My mother referred me to Dr. White because she has used him before. Dr. White, squeezed me in the very next day. He then referred me to Dr. Hethcox who promptly saw me the next day (today) to do the surgical part of the repair. By Friday, 4 days total, I will be fitted with a custom appliance that will cover my lost tooth until the actual repair can be finished. According to Dr Hethcox there is some recovery that must be done before he can safely surgically install implant. I am Thrilled with both Doctor's prompt attention to my Dental Emergency. I literally had no idea what to do, and now I see the conclusion of this Crisis. Thank You, Dr. White. You have my referral.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with this practice’s billing practices and lack of transparency. Before my appointment, I specifically confirmed that my insurance was accepted and that a routine cleaning would be covered—something that has been 100% covered by every other dentist I’ve seen. After a standard 20-minute cleaning, I was shocked to receive a bill for several hundred dollars. This feels misleading at best and unethical at worst. If there were going to be out-of-pocket costs, that should have been clearly disclosed upfront, not after services were rendered. I expect a much higher level of professionalism and honesty from a healthcare provider. Confirming insurance acceptance and then turning around to bill patients unexpectedly is simply wrong. I would strongly caution others to get everything in writing before being treated here. OR, better yet, just go to one of the dozen other dentists who don't engage in dishonest billing practices.

Fantastic experience: Within 24 hrs of my call, Dr White was able to see me and solve the problem causing a recurrence of my TMJ. He and all his staff are great! Another dental problem: I noticed a molar was sensitive to cold one night and the next morning hot tea caused pain again. About 9 I called Dr. White's office and at 10:30, I was in an exam chair at his office. Within an hour, a technician had examined and taken x-rays and called Dr. White in. He examined the offending tooth and gave me the bad news: an abscess was beginning. He prescribed antibiotic and referred me to an endodontist for a root canal. An appointment was made and script called in and I was on my way--out the door by 11:30. The week following July 4 when many doctors are closed!!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience as a new patient at Dr Brad White’s practice in West Knoxville today! The office is modern, very clean and warm and friendly. Theresa, the hygienist did a great cleaning and was very friendly. Dr White was a pleasure, as were his two front desk staff members. Positive experience: My dental work fell apart less than one year after getting work. I had to go to another dentist to get everything fixed. This happened also to my mother and husband. They were nice, but I can't afford nice, I need good work done. I haven't been back and my implant fell out, another dentist had to fix all the work Dr. White did and my veneer fell out 6 times. My husband had to have all his teeth pulled after Dr. White's work. We never returned. He is nice. But I need competent. I got him, I think, right after dental school and maybe that's the reason, but I won't go back.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr. White’s since the start of his practice in Knoxville, and I have only good things to say about the man, his office and his staff. I've never had a negative experience there. Most recently I needed an emergency crown for a broken molar. I had a next-day appointment, a painless preparation, and the porcelain crown was prepared while I waited. That's a level of service I could never have imagined, and that kind of care and technical sophistication is what keeps me coming back.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental practice I have been to. Currently drive just over an hour to be seen by their team and will continue to do so. The entire team is kind and professional. Dr. White is the first dentist I have ever had fill a cavity and not have to go back to get my bite adjusted over and over again. I then took my 3 year old for his first dental visit and it was amazing! He had the best time and when I reached the car, he was asking to go back. Truly a great organization from start to finish, highly recommend to anyone!

The person I interact with the most is my dental hygienist, Teresa. The only way I can describe her is one of God's faithful servants and just the best at keeping my teeth clean and healthy. Fantastic experience: Since I moved to a different area recently, I decided to try out a new dentist, that was more convenient to where I live now. New patients are directed to fill out paperwork before their appointment, so they have all your information ahead of time. I misunderstood how to fill it out, and printed it out instead and brought it in with me, on the day of my appointment. Despite that, I still didn't have to wait very long before being taken back and getting my teeth cleaned. It was a very positive experience from start to finish. They even have massaging chairs and a TV you can watch, while getting worked on. I didn't think anywhere would be as nice as my previous dentist, but I was happily mistaken. I'm looking forward to my future visits. The only thing I would do different there, is making each exam room private. Everybody can hear your conversation, and you can hear everyone else's, so just keep that in mind.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my 2nd visit to Knoxville Dental Care. As someone with very sensitive teeth, I thought I sensitivity was something I had to deal with, but it turns out sensitive teeth can be treated. My dental hygienist recommended Tom's Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste (it's available at Kroger). After one use during cleaning, I didn't feel the sensitivity at all. My dental hygienist also recommended that I invest in a Oral-B Vitality Floss Action Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush. This brush comes with an app that helps improve your brushing habits. Now I know how to make my next visit even better!
