Fantastic experience: We love CDK! The kids think it’s as fun as the Muse and we (the parents) are reminded of rainforest cafe on the inside. The dentists are kind and thoughtful. I can’t really imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is amazing and so friendly. Our daughter loves the staff and they work so well with the kids. The dentist there is so wonderful and funny. We are so blessed to have them take care of our daughters teeth.

Fantastic experience: We had a really good experience at this dentist office with my 1-year-old and 3-year-old. Of course, my babies cried (which is totally expected at that age), but the staff was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding the entire time. They never rushed us, never acted frustrated, and spoke so gently to both of my kids. They took their time explaining things and made sure I felt comfortable too. That kind of patience with little ones truly means everything as a parent. Even with a few tears, it was still such a positive experience, and I’m so thankful we found a dentist office that handles toddlers with so much care and kindness. Highly recommend for other parents with young kids!

Hygienist was quick but thorough and the dentist followed with an examination and clean bill of health good for another 6 months of freedom till my next check up.

Fantastic experience: We just recently had to change pediatric dentist due to the care we were receiving for our 4 year old. We were recommended to try Children's Dentistry of Knoxville and we couldn't be happier with their results. The kindest safe, welcoming environment for kids of all ages. Our daughter just had to have a dental procedure with sedation. Dr. Watson and his nurse Rachel were absolutely wonderful walking us threw the process and Dr. Phillips did an amazing job on her teeth! They all took such great care of our sweet girl. If your looking for a team who is dedicated to taking care of your child's needs in the best possible way, I would HIGHLY recommend Children's Dentistry of Knoxville.

Fantastic experience: My ten year old son has autism and required some work under sedation to address cavities. This was the first major procedure he had, so obviously we were nervous about it. The team at CDOK was kind and comprehensive with their explanations about the work and cost. Their partner anesthesiologist, Dr. Watson, and his nurse were also great and thorough. While this type of procedure would worry any parent, this team made it as easy as possible for us - from the medical concerns through the billing ones. Dr. Phillips and his team are absolutely wonderful. While I hope we can avoid cavities in the future, I know if we have them, our kids will get great care from CDOK next time too.

Fantastic experience: This place is great for kids! It has this really cool jungle theme and a play area. I was nervous to take my toddler to her first appointment but the staff was wonderful! Cora and Dr. Britton are awesome! I asked my daughter after if she would like to go back sometime and she said yes! So pleased we chose children’s dentistry of Knoxville!

Fantastic experience: A huge shoutout to both Abby and Emma for their speed of care and attention to detail with our daughter’s care. We have been going here for many years and have nothing to say but remarkable things about this business… especially the quality of care. The “icing on the cake” is the prize token they provide your child to redeem at one of the prize towers (~16 total choices) after they he appointment. It’s a wonderful incentivization tool and it leaves your little ones walking out with a smile. Thank you all for your true love that you pour into your work!

Fantastic experience: I just gotta say, we love this place. Such a relief walking in everything is about kids. You can tell right away that's what they care about. The front desk staff are very sweet. Of course dental issues aren't fun or cheap. But they do great to even it all out. Both Dr. Phillips and the hygienist Mindi are amazing. Super nice great with kids. I could ask for better people helping my child with dental work. My son needed a crown and a few fillings. I'm just so impressed with the care they took to make sure my son was comfortable the entire time.

Fantastic experience: Love this office so much! My daughter has severe anxiety revolving around any sort of doctor visits. Today was the first dentist visit that she didn’t jump out of the chair and cry. (Which has been a goal of ours since she started going in 2021) They take their time with her and explain what’s happening as they do it. Every dental hygienist we’ve had has been phenomenal, and their love for the job really shows. We had Jamie and Dr. Hollingsworth today and I can’t say thank you enough.

I feel like they really listened to our concerns and did the best job possible to get a look inside his mouth. I will definitely be taking him back. Also, the cleanliness and decor of the office was just great.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients at CDOK for appx. 10 yrs. and while we have always received great service, today Cassie exceeded all expectations. Our son had his first procedure without anesthesia and she calmly and patiently explained the entire process (multiple times) and eased his nervousness. Dr. Jim was amazing and calmly spoke with our son during the process. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate the front desk, Cassie, and Dr. Jim’s efforts today. Not once did I feel like we were an inconvenience or causing an issue. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Negative experience: My son had to be put under for 6 cavities & a crown. The older woman warned me before hand than 1 in 300 children have a bad reaction when they wake up. When he woke up he was definitely the 1 who acted completely out of it. I was still understanding until we were rushed out of the office by the woman. My son was on the floor screaming, kicking & crying. Saying he was dizzy & bobbing his head everywhere. I didn’t know what to do, I wasn’t prepared for this & she just kept telling him to calm down & when he didn’t listen bc he was still out of it from the anesthesia, she was scrolling Instagram. He was in no shape to leave & ride in a car. It honestly hurt me so bad that they wanted me to take him home in that condition. When the dr called in the evening to check on him, I told the dr what happened. He had me on speaker phone & the woman denied it. I know what I saw…..then said the medicine was out of him & that was all behavior related. First of all I’m his mother & I know my child’s behavior. He does not ever hit, kick or scream. I’m not blaming them for my child’s reaction to the medication. I’m saying the beside manor is what was so upsetting. I think if your child wasn’t the 1 in 300 you’d have a great experience. It made me feel as if we were a paycheck & on to the next kid……

Fantastic experience: The environment was professional and kid friendly . I was very happy with the hygienist and the dentist and the way they provided services for my child who’s on the autism spectrum.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Phillips and his team took outstanding care of our son. We had quite a few dental surprises at an early age which required multiple procedures. And as hard as it was to watch our child go through these, Dr. Phillips and his team handled our son (and managed our nerves!) exceptionally. He thoroughly explained each process and gave us realistic expectations for a three year old! Fast forward two years and a handful of positive check-ups, our son takes pride in taking care of “his teeth the dentist fixed!” Thanks for making the uncomfortable, comfortable!

Fantastic experience: My son (4 yrs. old) has sever anxiety about doctors and dentists. Our first two attempts at an adult dentist were terrible and I thought it had ruined any chances of a pleasant experience. We were recommended Children's Dentistry of Knoxville by his babysitter because he had trauma to his teeth. I did some online research and looked up some reviews. First, the location is SUPER easy to get to. Second, front the parking lot my son recognized Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playing on the TV (no the TV is not that big!). Third, when we walked in it was warm lighting, and kid themed to the max! My son immediately felt comfortable and played with the toys until they called his name back. He was enamored with the huge tree as we walked passed the rooms and chairs. He wasn't focused on anything but the tree with pretty lights. It was great! The hygienist (Ms. Heather) was so amazing! She gets kids! :) She took her time, explaining all the tools and what she would be doing. She even did an excellent job with him doing x-rays. She was very very knowledgable and took her time explaining all the things with his trauma. Dr. Phillips was incredibly kind and gentle. He was very knowledgable and reassuring. I am so very thankful we picked Children's Dentistry of Knoxville! They did so great! My son did great and is even looking forward to his 6 mo cleaning! Update - we just had his 6 mo cleaning and it went so smoothly! I absolutely love Children's Dentristy of Knoxville! The hygienist was incredible and listened to my son when he expressed if he was nervous about something. She explained everything and went slow to give him time to adjust. A night and day difference from 1 year ago! Yay!!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I took my child for the first time today. The environment is welcoming and exciting for children. The tech was experienced and kind to my child. She treated him with patience, explained everything she was doing, and had a great spirit that kept him excited throughout the appointment. I highly recommend this place, especially for your anxious littles!

Fantastic experience: I take both my kids (4 and 18 mo) they love it! From the toys in the waiting room and the tree with butterflies and animals when you go back, it's all great to make the kids enjoy the dentist. The dental hygentist and the dentist are so nice and the hygentist was so helpful while we waiting in keeping the kids entertained! So glad I found this place!

Fantastic experience: I’m very impressed with this practice. The atmosphere is amazing for kids with plenty of things to do in the waiting room for toddlers, little kids, and teens! They have an awesome movie theater too! The overall jungle theme is just too cute! So far we’ve seen Dr. Phillips and Dr. Hollingsworth and both have been very kind and knowledgeable! I ask a lot of questions because I want to make sure my children’s teeth are not only currently healthy but that we’re also putting into practice things that will help for the future. Both doctors were very nice and I never felt rushed when seeing them/asking questions. I’m also extremely impressed that they cleaned my 2/4/6 year olds calculus, at a previous dentist they never even did it until age 6! They’re doing an amazing job of helping children love the dentist! We are looking forward to seeing them every 6m!

Fantastic experience: I contacted this office after months of searching for a dentist to take my daughter due to her age and insurance. Scheduling was super easy & friendly, got my child in asap. We were super late and they still saw my child when they didn't have to, and did not show any sign of agitation at the situation. The Dr. & assistant were absolutely great. The office itself is very child friendly and has great designs aimed at making kids comfortable. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: We just moved to the area and as my sons 6 year molar pushed through we thought a chunk of it broke off. We hadn’t had time yet to get a dentist so I just googled “pediatric dentist near me” . I called and Children's Dentistry of Knoxville got us in almost right away (we called on Thurs aft and they got us in first thing Monday). We received amazing service, thankfully my sons molar was not broke and we were able to get things sorted well. Plus they were affordable!

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing experience with Dr Phillips (dentist) and Dr Watson (anesthesia) today at Children's Dentistry of Knoxville. If you have a neurodivergent kiddo, this is the dentist you're looking for. They are so patient, and very accommodating to anxiety and sensory issues. They offer full anesthesia for procedures that might be simple enough for some kids, but a sensory nightmare for others. As a parent, I REALLY appreciate the communication. Every step of the way they make sure that I know EXACTLY what is going on. They're checking in before/during/after every procedure to make sure things are going well.

Fantastic experience: We reached out to Children’s Dentistry as new patients with an emergency situation and they were not only able to fit us in right away, they made a scary situation so much easier for us all. My very nervous toddler was treated with such gentleness and respect she left feeling so happy! I would definitely recommend, we will be continuing our care thee!

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant my kids had today was so sweet & patient! I didn’t ask for her name/remember what she said. But she was really good with both of them. The dentist my kids saw was really nice & patient as well.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience with Dr. Mark Britton. He started working on the treatment plan on my autistic child without even acknowledging me as the parent sitting next to my child. I felt completely ignored the entire time specially when he was talking to the assistant saying “Did you tell her … or does she knows…” Not once approached me until I requested to have someone else come in to help hold my son’s head to avoid him moving from side to side. From here it got worse and I felt he gave up on my child or just didn’t want to deal with us anymore. Being in a medical field myself, this is not how patients and their families should be treated. I am very disappointed with his service directly and will not come back here again. I have never experienced so much disappointment in a doctor’s office specially when is related to a pediatric office. I am a pediatrician and a parent of an autistic child, this has been the worse experience for us.

Fantastic experience: We just had our first visit for my 2 toddlers (one with auditory sensory sensitivities) and it was AMAZING! The staff were kind and patient, the waiting room kept my kiddos entertained, and they had so many great methods to make the experience so smooth and comfortable. Heather, our dental hygienist, took her time to show the kids all the tools and let them feel them on their fingers before using them. She did a wonderful job and was so kind! I was nervous about taking our kids for the first time to the dentist, so if you’re like me…I highly recommend this office for your first experience!

Fantastic experience: I want to start this by saying my son is autistic and has lots of sensory issues. We came here after it was suggested by our DIDD case worker and I was skeptical at first. My son "hates" the dentist and every visit before turned into a meltdown. From the minute I called this office, I felt welcomed and heard. Every concern was met with compassion and options. I wish I knew the lady's name who answered our call, because she was so warm, polite, and patient with me. Today, we arrived for his appointment and he's nervous. Jamie brings us back, xrays are done, and she listened and answered every single question my son had for her. He enjoyed the weight of the xray vest so you know what she did? She let him keep it on for the entire visit. Never rushed him, never got annoyed with him, she was fabulous! Every move she made, she would stop and explain it step by step for him and he slowly calmed down, eventually settling in and actually let her clean his teeth! I could actually relax and just watch, instead of holding him down and trying to keep him from yanking her tools out of her hands. I can't say enough about Jamie's professionalism and handling of my son's unique needs. Dr. Hollingsworth was also super gentle with him and explained what needed to be done throughly and laid out all of our options, allowing me to decide what was best for our needs. Finally, the lady we talked to on the way out, I also neglected to get her name, was so kind and generously let my son write a note for her wall because he liked her collection above her desk. He wrote "Best Dentist" and my heart was so happy. In the car, he said he still "hates" going to the dentist, but he can deal with it if we keep going here. That's the biggest win possible in my book!! From start to finish, best experience we could ask for. Above and beyond expectations! Thank you to everyone we have interacted with so far, you have no idea how much this experience means to us, both the patient and the over protective mom. I think my son's note summed it up perfectly, "Best Dentist".

Fantastic experience: Great staff and great dentist! I had a misunderstanding of how to pay my bill. I thought I could pay my bill on care credit, not realising that was a separate thing. I was having so many issues on the site (because I don’t have care credit lol) that finally I called the office. Rosalind took the time to explain everything to me (that care credit is it’s own way to pay) and she was able to take my payment over the phone. She was so nice, understanding, and didn’t mind me being technologically impaired. Thank you’

Fantastic experience: Love taking my children here. They are so easy with them and kind. We have always had a good experience each time. I do wish now that it’s been two years since March 2020, that things like not being able to come inside to the waiting room but instead having to wait inside our car would change, plus masks. Now especially since most everywhere else is back to normal.

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in for dental surgery on 01/25/2022. Dr. Phillips went above and beyond more than my words can describe. The Anesthesiologist Dr. Watson and his nurse Rachel are fabulous people. They are all prompt, caring, and professional. You can tell they they love what they do. My daughter had numerous fillings, and the way he executed the procedure was flawless. Everything about this Dentistry is superb, and Knoxville is lucky to have such an amazing team to call it’s own. Thank you Dr. Phillips for all that you do. If anyone is looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further!

Fantastic experience: We are new to Knoxville as of 3 weeks and had a dental emergency for my 4 year old son. I called Children’s Dentistry of Knoxville and they calmed me down and got us in right away!!! The staff was so sweet and inviting. Best Children’s Dentistry I’ve ever been to!!!! Fantastic experience: Being someone that works in the medical field and directly with people I'm extremely picky with any kind of care provided to my kids. I have research and read reviews before I take them to a place. All of that to say that I did that with Children's Dentistry and let me tell you... They did not let me down! My 4 yr old LOST her mind once the cleaning was going to start. I was embarrassed and felt so bad to be wasting their time with trying to get her to calm down. They were so patient and reassured me that it happens. We tried and tried to get her to let them do the cleaning and she refused. So we rescheduled that part. However, she allowed them to the exam at least and they gave her a token and tooth brush afterwards which actually won her over! Now she is asking me to take her tomorrow and my other two can't wait to go now hearing from their little sister. So happy to have found this dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this place. My 9 year old daughter has been coming here for about a year now and she is now EXCITED to go to the dentist. When we first started going here, she had quite a few problems with her teeth, she had to have a pulpotomy, and many fillings in the following months. They have always made her feel comfortable and are excellent with children. All the dental Assistants are so sweet and everyone there has always gonna above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They do offer laughing gas for the treatment visits and it helps everything go so smoothly! I am pleased to say that after their guidance and teaching my daughter they found no new cavities and her teeth looked great when we visited today! Thank you Dr. Britton and Dr. Phillips! I will always bring my kids here!!!

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old was treated with respect but also as a child. The staff are incredible. You know they care about your child. The way they handle cavities with young children is truly amazing. My child won't have anything but good memories from the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Children' Dentistry of Knoxville! 5 kids and lots of years from the start, we know they are still best at providing dental care for our kiddos. Dr Daryl & Dr B are wonderful to work with. They understand the concerns with each child and help us make the best decisions for each one. All of the dental techs are wonderful. They walk through the steps with my dentist-anxious child and do a great job. I trust them immensely. We would recommend them to anyone! ❤❤❤

Negative experience: The so called dentist that was doing the fillings on my child is rude as hell, the female assistant Alex ,I think was nice not sure, didn't speak much because of dentist telling everyone to be quiet. Then he left the room, and had the assistant finish, the "Dentist" is the most unfriendly person to work in Child's mouth I do not recommend this dentist office because of him.

Fantastic experience: My experience was awesome. I took my 14 month old for her first dentist visit and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. So happy we found this place for our daughter!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this office and so do the kids. Prior to COVID the kids loved the inside. There’s a little theatre area, video game space, and play room for smaller kiddos. Staff is friendly. Now with COVID they still have a nice set up. You pull in and text the name and spot # then they come out to get you. Now that mine are older they enjoy going back without mom hovering.

Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with the level of care Children’s Dentistry of Knoxville has delivered to my children. Specifically during the pandemic. It is difficult for parents to let their 5 or 7 year old walk into a dental office by themselves and undergo a procedure. The amazing team ( every single one of them ) make my children feel comfortable and secure. It means more than anything to me. Also, they do a great job with their work. As someone that has worked with Dental offices for over 10 years, I know the difference. That is why my children will see this group until they grow up. Thank you all for everything you do for our family.

Fantastic experience: This was our little girls first time going to the dentist and the hygienist was phenomenal. She made sure to explain all of the tools to her and even let her feel them before they started. They have TV’s above the chair for them to watch and it was so fun she’s already talking about going back!

Fantastic experience: The staff was very patient with my son as it can be a challenge for him to stay focused. They were very patient and took extra steps to make sure he was comfortable. We are very appreciative and would highly recommend.
