Fantastic experience: Friendly, knowledgeable, patient staff, from the dentist to the receptionists. The location also has nice decor throughout and a flat screen tv, in the waiting room, which was airing nature programming. It was a very pleasant first experience. I was in and out just as expected. I definitely recommend this location. *Update; I somehow failed to submit the above review.. I’ve had several visits to date. Each experience as good as my first. After my last; I believe I no longer have any orthodontics cement! And, after almost thirty years.

Fantastic experience: I have major anxiety issues around going to the dentist because of the people at New Dentistry that has changed. They are awesome and compassionate I love that I’m able to tell them my anxiety and they listen try to make it a better experience. It doesn’t matter if it’s the hygienist, doctor, or the receptionist ( shout out Misty) I never feel judged and I love that about them. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place for you if I could give them 20 stars I would this place has helped me get on top of my dental health.

He is very gentle and makes sure everything is pain free, he does an awesome job and puts his heart into his work, and very reasonable prices, I have had a lot of work done here, and he does an excellent job!! I am 47, and have been to many other denist offices in other states and city's I have lived in, and he is my top choice so far, my favorite denist ever!

Negative experience: This place is a money grab, went in for a free teeth cleaning from my insurance and still had to pay. Didn't clean all my teeth just one side and told me I would have to come back for the other side, which I would have to pay again. Not to mention they charge you 50$ bucks for rescheduling an appointment. I understand it's new to the area but I'd rather go with another option, felt like I was being ripped off.

They were all thorough and professional. The atmosphere here is warm, hospitable, and put me at ease. They were all so sweet with my 2 year old daughter and she was clearly comfortable while waiting for my deep cleaning to be completed. In all it took about 2 hours including the exam, so it says a lot for a 2 year old to feel calm in a new environment that long. I felt the price was reasonable and well worth the exceptional care I received. I am so glad to have found New Dentistry! We will be back!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to what is now New Dentistry since it was originally owned and operated by the late Dr. Richard Barbee. My family and the Barbee’s had a very wholesome relationship and he always made me feel right at home… It’s hard to imagine that anyone could fill the shoes that he left, but Dr. Luethke and the staff at New Dentistry have been just as wonderful. I have known Joanne & Misty since I was a child as well and getting to see them brings that much more comfortability and joy to the experience. My family and I loved the Barbee’s like our own and it’s very reassuring to know that his practice is in such good hands.

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth at 2pm, scheduled an appointment by 2:30 pm, had a crown put on starting at 8 am done by 9:30. Very grateful. Dr. Luethke is a super personable caring guy. To the lay person the glues and epoxies and tools and skills verge on magic.

They suggested several options on how to address my problems. If you’re scared of the dentist you can rest easy at this practice!

Negative experience: Dr Barbie was the reason for all these 5 star reviews, he is gone… now it’s just another money sucking out with average people with don’t give a crap about you!!! If you want fake niceties yes that’s his legacy, but Dr Barnie actually tried to help his patients not just feed them garbage.

Dr. Michael Luethke has followed right in his dad's footsteps...a gentle, caring, smart, and skilled doctor. There is no one I would trust more than Dr. Michael Luethke. His staff is friendly and professional. Going to the dentist isn't one of my favorite things at all, but I couldn't have been more comfortable under their care.

Fantastic experience: Visited yesterday, and am so happy I did. The entire team is kind and attentive, and responsive to questions I raised. Dr. Luethke explains matters clearly, and the hygienist Brittany was great at avoiding any unnecessary pokes or pain. She also was able to get through a procedure that originally was going to require a second visit in just the one, saving me a trip back. Happy to be a new patient!

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasant visit to New Dentistry when I needed a tooth checked for a piece that had been broken off. The dental assistant (Andrea) was especially nice and kind, and did a great job taking X-rays, etc. The dentist (Dr. Luethke ) was kind as well, and did a thorough check of the tooth needing repair. Another visit is required, and should take care of the problem. Everyone I interacted with at the office was very nice and kind. Great job!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited my Dental family for my bi-annual teeth cleaning, the staff is warm, personal and patient as the office was very busy in the waiting area. Dr. Luethke is wonderful, he is very aware of my dental history, I’m very comfortable with their team and it’s convenient as they setup my next appointment from the dental chair! Fantastic experience: Called last minute, they got me in quickly for a bum wisdom tooth. They were honest and told me with my tooth location I’d be better off with a referral to TN Vally Oral Surgery of Knoxville. Which turn out to be a great referral. The fact that they chose what they thought was best for me over them potentially making more money shows me they care about their patients. I will return for all other dental cleanings for myself and children.
